The hotel itself was amazing. The staff were really helpful when we had an issue with the safe. However, the breakfast was of poor quality. Myself and my partner both got food poisoning from the breakfast. We feel this is down to the buffet style they provide, so the rice has been standing around for a while.

Great place if you want to bring a big family! We got the Villa that slept over 9 people... Had on own private pool to cool down:) I wish there was a screen on the patio of our villa to get some privacy, but not the end of the world. Clean and plenty of space to hang out. For around $500USD a night it was worth it if you want to hang out with a larger sized family. Food was amazing... Breakfast was included and starts at 8am-11am From sandwiches to soup to omelet. Drinks and juices included... Dinning there was pleasant and the food was priced well. We know it is a resort on an island, but the food and drinks were still affordable. Huge menu! so eat away...
Staff were very friendly and catered to our wishes... When you see local and natives come here to spend their holiday you know it is legit. Would come back if life brings me back here with my family. plenty of food else where in the area too! clean beach and photo set up areas to take selfies

Staff seemed more interested in catering to day trippers than guests. Not welcoming at all. Would not recommend for Western travellers. Also tried to get out of returning our 1000 bt deposit - a bit ridiculous taking this when the overall price for 2 nights was over 4000 bt

The resort is pretty worn and smelly. The stuff is absolutly unfriendly. The restaurant and the public toilettes are full of chinese day trippers. The beach is full of loud speed boats and jetskis. On the other hand is the location very good if you wanna go out in the evening and the beach is too crowded, but actually beautiful.

Better hotels around, would not go back!

Upon arrival, the check in staff was very unwelcoming and not customer friendly.
The room was nice, clean, the room cleaning staff were good during our 3 nights stay, we had a room at the back thankfully not near the dining area.
Breakfast was the worst experience, the staff were very unwelcoming, it feels like they do not want to be there. We give the breakfast coupon and we get a pre-made American style breakfast which consisted of a cold fried egg, sausages and a slice of tomato. There were bread to make toast, butter & jam. Buffet section had a fried rice and a rice porridge, the containers that kept the food hot was not ever lit/the candle was not replaced so everyday it was luke-warm rice soup. The breakfast area with a view of the beach was swamped with Chinese day trippers, there were always at least 20-30 people. They stand around the breakfast area and spray sun cream around the food. The eating areas would be peaceful and enjoyable as the view is great, however, you don't get to enjoy the space amongst the day trippers and therefore you end up not seeing very much.

The location is great, you can walk from the pier, no doubt the beach is very pretty, however, the free sun chairs for hotel guests is half taken by the massage people constantly hassling you, or the day trip people taking the space. Also, the chairs were available for non guests at a price, which meant that on our first day there were no chairs available for us!

Tonsak has gone downhill since our last stay 2 years ago. Room is full of mosquitos when you arrive due the doors left open when they clean. The staff are less than friendly, hardly ever smile. Don't waste your time on the breakfast. 1 egg, 2 small white bread 3 little hot dogs and instant coffee, terrible. (Or you could chose the watery rice soup) There are a lot more choices near Tonsak that would be better. Very disappointed in the quality of service at Tonsak. Hotels.com should know that they treat you differently if you don't book directly with the Tansak resort. My wife is Thai and thats what she was told.

NICE HOTEL ON THE BEACH

Had a relaxing two night stay. The beach was clean and the water very nice for swimming. Plenty of things to do nearby or just relaxing at resort. Not noisy so good for sleeping.

Tonsak - low season

We arrived on the beach by speedboat and got checked in immediately at about noon. We were handed our rom keys by a smiling staff. The restaurant were under refurbishing and breakfast were served on the bungalows terrace which we found very convenient.
The room was \"ok\". Window frames rotten due to continuos water due to air conditioning running.
Bathroom had lots of fungus on tiles, the sink were loose from the wall and shower head was constantly dripping.
With many electric black outs it was annoying to not be able to shower during the black out but we survived. The black outs occurred not only at our hotel but on parts of the island.
The best part with this hotel is its location. Close to a fairly clean beach. Nice bars and restaurants in walking distance on the beach.

This resort is in the heart of the action, plenty of noise until late from the venue next door. The mosquitos nearly carried us away, the resort and rooms are full of them so beware. Breakfast is very average.There are better places to stay for the money

Läget är fantastiskt med närheten till övrigt utbud som massage, 7Eleven, moppe uthyrning osv men även hotellets café och glass utbud var bra.
Stranden är superfin utanför hotellet och fanns Fireshow att njuta av varje kväll.

Personalen var trevlig och allt vi beställde stämde. Dock fungerade inte deras App beställnings system alltid smärtfritt, utan det var lite segt ibland.

Utcheckningen var den snabbaste jag nånsin varit med om.

Dejligt hotel

God placering lige ved stranden. Dejligt rummeligt værelse. Rent og pænt. Morgenmaden får de ikke mange point for. De kan lave en ok omelet men resten er håbløst.

Betjeningen er ok, men kræver anvendelse af en super dårlig app som ikke engang er oversat hel til et sprog jeg kunne forstå (engelsk). Find en tjener ved navn Nangh - så får du god service :-)

BEMÆRK: at hver dag kommer der en bus med turister fra Pattaya som af en eller anden grund skal installerede på denne resorts restaurant og strandpladser. Super irriterende. Det forgår fra 10-16 og er et cirkus de dage hvor der er mange med bussen.

ที่พักติดหาด ทำเลดี ใกล้เซเว่น ห้องสวยแต่ใช้วัสดุไม่ค่อยดี ของเริ่มพัง อาหารเช้ามีหลากหลาย แต่ขนมปังปิ้งไม่มีเนยแท้มีแค่มาการีน พนักงานผญ.ที่ทำไข่ก็ดูไม่ค่อยอยากทำ ขอไข่เจียวพนง.บอกให้ไปตักไข่ดาวที่ถาด บอกว่าไข่เหมือนกัน แถมถอดไข่ไปเเคะขี้ฟันไป

วันกลับพนักงานชายช่วยยกกระเป๋าเดินทางไปขึ้นรถสองแถวสะดวกดีค่ะ

Läget är jättebra, personalen var trevliga speciellt i restaurangen. Stället är väldigt ner slitet och behöver renoveras och fräschas upp. Vi hade det väldigt lugnt då det var få turister kvar pga Covid-19.

Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, zu Fuß 1 Minute zum Beach.
Die Holzhäuschen sind nett, aber schon etwas älter.
Im Großen und Ganzen ein nettes Hotel. Zu Fuß 5 Minuten bis zur Haupstrasse mit den ganzen Restaurants, sehr gut!

혼자 지내기에는 그럭저럭 괜찮았습니다 하지만 중국인 단체관광객이 당일치기로 이곳에 와서 수영하고 식사하는통에 항상 주변이 시끌벅적합니다
하지만 바닷가 바로앞이라 위치는 최고로 좋습니다

Kiinalaisten ryhmämatkakohde

Olimme muutama vuosi sitten samassa hotellissa ja paikka oli ihanan rauhallinen vaikka aamupala olikin olematon. Nyt aamupalaa ei ollut enää ollenkaan ja joka aamu klo 8 jälkeen mökin etualueelle (entinen aamupala-alue) alkoi tulla kiinalaisten matkaryhmiä. Ryhmiä (50-100 henkilöä) tuli tasaisena virtana koko aamupäivän ja paikka oli kuin eläintarha. Aamupalaa syödessämme terassilla kiinalaiset katselivat meitä muutaman metrin päässä ihmetellen. Olipas loma.. ei kiitos enää uudelleen.

Katastrof åkte dit för att få lite lugn och ro men det visade sig att det var dagsresor dit med mellan 500-till1000 pensioner stimma och lever fan hela dagen tråkigt kommer ej att rekomedera detta hotellet för någon

Aldrig mer Tonsak resort, fruktansvärt!!!

Vistelsen på Tonsak resort var en stor besvikelse för oss. Resorten fungerade som ett nav för dagturister från Kina. Kl 09 invaderades området av flera 100 personer som slog sig ner överallt bl.a på vår altan. Det var så trångt så man fick be om ursäkt för att komma fram på området. Dagtursiterna rökte, var högljudda och skräpade ner. Några parasoller på stranden fanns inte, fanns i övrigt ingen plats att sitta på, helt fruktansvärt. Personalen var inte hjälpsamma utan var fullt upptagna med att serva dagtursterna mellan kl 09-15. Väl absolut INTE Tonsak resort eller stranden resorten ligger på. Koh Samets som varit så fantastiskt och fint och håller helt på att ätas upp av dagturisterna från Kina.

The location was the best!

The location was perfect. The resort was on the beach and it took really 2 minutes to walk to the main street. Also the beach in this place was the best beach on the island.
Rooms were mainly clean. All of the things weren't in good shape but still overall the room was good.

Die Lage und Bungalow war gut.
Leider ist der Ressort von morgens bis am späten Nachmittag überflutet von Tagesausflüglern. Die Chinesen kamen zu Hunderten mit den Speedbooten. Belagerten den ganzen Strand und Restaurant. Für die Bungalow Gäste gab es kein Frühstück und kein Lunch. Die Atmosphäre war sehr laut und ungemütlich.
Kann das Resort leider nicht weiter empfehlen.

Aldrig Tonsak Resort !!

Den här vistelsen var en besvikelse för oss.
Rummen var slitna och eftersatt. Det första jag får uppleva var att när jag skulle tvätta händerna forsar smutsvattnet rakt ner på mina skor. Hela tvättstället var löst. Frukosten skulle serveras från 07.30 och kl 08.00 hade ingen börjat med frukosten och frukosten var den torftigaste vi någonsin fått. Köpte extra från Steven eleven. Vi hade betalt för 5 nätter men bestämde oss för att lämna stället efter 3 nätter och kommer aldrig mer tillbaka till Tonsak Resort.

Accueil déplorable et hôtel délaissé

Lors de mon arrivée avec ma réservation payée d'avance le réceptionniste m'a dit que je n'avais aucune réservation.après un appel à expédia j'ai pu avoir une chambre pour 5 nuits au lieu de neuf.J'ai ensuite changé d'hôtel heureusement car c'est une honte de loger dans cet hôtel. les chambres sales et rudimentaires,le personnel ne te dit pas bonjour,le déjeuner lamentable.Et le pire c'est que dés 9h30 du matin tout le monde est prés pour accueillir des trips de touriste chinois pour déjeuner et rester devant l'hôtel et sur la plage à laisser des immondices,se servir des parties communes de l'hôtel.

Keine Erholung möglich. Täglich 100erte pattayachi

Täglich ab 9.00 nur chinesische tagestouristen zu hunderten. Man kann nicht frühstücken weil das Geschrei und das Gedränge unerträglich sind.Katastrophe für das Geld. Null zu empfehlen.

Otrevligt och inte prisvärt

Hotellet ligger bra vid stranden, men rummen var ganska små, frukosten ganska dålig och personalen otrevlig. Finns mycket bättre alternativ för lägre pris.
