Very dated property, clean but incredibly shabby and worn. Value for money just not good. Rate truly should be $75.00 per night and then you would be forewarned as to the quality. On the plus side, the restaurant on the property .. although also tired .. was very good as attested by the many locals who come by for the food.

Overall, I had a great stay at La Roma Motel. The room was very clean. The furnishings are a little dated, but everything was in good condition and comfortable enough. My only minor complaint would be that the mattresses are quite firm, which may not be for everyone. That said, considering the price, it’s hard to complain. Great value for the money, and I would definitely stay here again.

Clean room & nice towels. The top sheet was put on wrong as it was too short to cover up in. I had to change it. Was a bit yellow where they tucked it in. Requested a kettle which they promptly dropped by with. Parking outside the door was very convenient. And so is the location just off highway. The only thing would be that the room needs to be updated. Would stay again but only for a short time.

room had a funky smell and was dated but the vibes were amazing, great scenery, quiet area by a river right off of the trans canada, friendly and accommodating staff. didn't have the pleasure of trying their food as we left early.

Property is great right by a stream. Lots of places to walk a dog. Only problem was the very small bathroom. The toilet and tub were very close to one another very hard to move around. The bathroom sink was actually located outside the bathroom itself.

Spendid view of the Iroquois River. Peaceful. After a long drive, I enjoyed the restful sleep. Not fancy but the room accommodations was perfect! (3 double beds; for me and my 2 adult children) Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Enjoyed the experience overall and made a return stay.

Definitely Recommend ❣️

Note: Their in-ground pool was not open/available as Spring temperatures were not quite ideal. They expected to open the pool end of May/June 1st. Looks lovely though.

Definitely needs some tlc. Quiet location. Proper bedding would help. Sheets are very old and thin and the cover on the bed was very worn and not warm at all. Luckily I packed a sleeping bag so was able to use it.

The owner and his family were very nice, friendly and helpful. The scenic river nearby was stunning. Rooms are nice but could use an update. The beds were a bit too firm for my aging bones, but they were clean with plenty of pillows. The onsite restaurant is also recommended for it's fine food.

Property does not allow pets. Room was decent but lacked extra bedding which possibly could have been attained if asked for. Bathroom was sufficient but cramped toilet space. Good space and affordable for a guy for an overnight, not necessarily for a couple looking for comfort. Check in office not obvious at first.

The property hasn't changed much since I last stayed there. The room is clean. the bed was comfortable, I slept fine. The TV worked ok, but it's Roku TV. They have a swimming pool, but it is not open for the season yet. They have a restaurant, but it serves mostly East Indian fare. There is a smoking area, but it is not sheltered so I got soaked when I smoked there, it was raining the day I got there. The receptacle for the cigarette butts looked like it has seen better days.
For an overnight stay, though, it suited my needs fine.

The room was very clean. I could tell that there was attention given to cleaning. The bed was clean and the sheets smelled fresh. The restaurant seemed popular and smelled delicious, I should have eaten there! Close to the highway, very easy access. Very quiet at night.

The fridge was quite loud and kept me up, and there was a constant stream of sounds coming from other rooms. Sounded like someone was working on something. But it stopped around 23:00.

All in all, it’s a fine motel. A little run down, but the people running it were incredibly friendly and it was quiet. Can’t ask for more at the price!

We chose this property because it was pet friendly and that is the only positive thing we can say. The room had a musty smell, the door and windows did not lock properly and lightbulbs were missing. We hoped to have a good dinner to compensate for the nasty room but the restaurant was closed “ for tonight “ ( we were told ) but the restaurant seemed boarded up completely. Because we had had a long drive and it was late, we decided to stay and endure it. The manager was nonchalant and the office was a distance away down the hill from the motel area. We didn’t see any other guests or staff while we were there. A very unpleasant and even scary experience. We do not recommend this property.

Always enjoy staying here. The location is great, few minutes off Trans Canada. Owners are awesome people. Very friendly and always accommodating. Owner remembered us from last visit and welcomed us back. Rooms are clean and comfortable. TV selection is awesome!! Get more channels then at big name hotels. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, safe, quality priced place to stay, you need to stay at La Roma Motel.

It was easy to get to as it was right off the highway. The room seemed nice and clean until I started looking at the linens and whatnot. If you bring your own pillow and towels, it's probably okay. The pillow cases were \"cleaned\"...but most of the actual pillows were full of sweat stains. Thankfully one of the beds seemed clean. 2 out of 3 towels were not clean. Whether they were just stained or not washed, I have no idea. If you're looking for a cheap place to rest your head for the night, it was fine I guess, but I won't be going back unfortunately. It was in a sketchy area. The deadbolt on the door worked, but the lock on the handle was broken. The one staff member I talked to when checking in was nice.

Overall I only had one night to sleep there and only needed the one night. But, it is a decent place to spend one night if needed.

Very outdated room and furniture. Hair dryer didn’t work, coffee didn’t work right. The old building was very outdated and I had to go 100ft to another building to check in. There was noises inside wall like rodents but I’m not sure if it was. I certainly would never recommend it to anyone.
