Lovely Quaint Hotel Close to Lake

The staff was amazing giving helpful hints on where to go, the room was large for our family of 5 and very comfortable. A \"peek-a-boo lake view was a nice treat. A great location. Parking was on the street, we got lucky just around the corner. Delicious huge Breakast.

Good location but this is definitely not a 4-Star hotel. AC didn’t work, bed was horrendous, pillows paper thin, breakfast week. It is what it is, but severely misrepresented.

Not enough toilet paper was given. They have small rolls. There is not a lot of options for restaurants. I would say to stay at a hotel that is closer to the main center. Breakfast was good. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair on the hose of the water spray attachment and hair on the floor. Very small room and bathroom.

Very sweet little room. It was tiny for three people plus suitcases, but we made it work. The woman at the front desk was wonderful! Breakfast was very good, and it was very easy to get to the hotel from the train station by foot. We could also easily get to the water ferry dock by foot. Just a warning for those coming in winter, most places are closed and the ferry only runs a few times a day. We did not get to see much of Lake Como because we had to wait four hours for the ferry. I wish we had planned more time to visit, it was so beautiful!

Centrally located hotel. Free on street parking nearby. Colico is a small town in the north of Lake Como. Very pretty. Hotel in a 3 minute walk from the lake shore. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly. The complimentary water in the mini fridge was appreciated. Varied selection at breakfast. If I returned to Colico again I would not hesitate to stay again. Did not eat at hotel restaurant.

Good base to explore but set back a couple of streets from the lake from whence it takes its name. No lake views as a result. Breakfast was limited for us, but we are vegan. Staff able to provide soya milk. Overall. we had a fantastic time.

Beautiful spot on the shores of Lake Como

We found a leaky roof dripping water on the bed but this was very quickly fixed by moving us to another room. I am sure that will not be an ongoing problem. The hotel is excellent - clean and comfortable - better than the pictures suggest.
Easy walk to both the ferry terminal and train station.

A hidden gem of a hotel at a sensible price

Would have no hesitation to stay again or recommend to others. Good value and perfect location at the top of Lake Como. Nice friendly staff. Just across the road from mini supermarket and a couple of minutes walk to the lake side and other eating establishments. Clean and modern.

Colico, all that we needed.

This hotel is well located, being 400 metres on level pavement for the train station and only a short walk to the lake with its restaurants, bars and ferry access to the rest of Lake Como. Breakfast had the standard cold buffer with a large selection of pastries and cakes. Room cleaning occurs mid-morning which is great if you go out early but like to return in the afternoon with the room make-up.

This hotel was brilliant for gluten-free food at breakfast, which was cooked in the hotel kitchen: tarts, cake, biscuits.
The staff were very friendly and helpful about travelling to sites: rail and ferry information.

What a great place!

We really liked staying here! The front desk lady was very kind and the room was perfect. The location made for an easy stroll to Lake Como. Breakfast was terrific and the whole staff was just great. After driving from Germany via the Spludgepass, it was terrific to have a great place to stay.

Nice, friendly hotel a 5 minute walk from the lake, restaurants and ferry. Clean, comfortable room which was at the back and very quiet.
Car parking is on local streets where there are a number of free bays.
A good place from which to explore the lake and parts of Switzerland as well

O hotel é simples, um pouco mais antigo. Mas o quarto era ótimo, bem espaçoso, cama confortável. O atendimento foi excelente por parte da equipe e o café da manhã era muito bom, com muita variedade e opções. Mas o melhor do hotel é a localização, a alguns metros do Lago Como. A cidade é maravilhosa, muito charmosa, cheia de restaurantes, bares. A noite ficamos em um bar a beira do lago, bebendo vinho, comendo ótimos petiscos e com a vista linda do lago. A cidade tem um ar de cidade do interior italiana, que te faz realmente sentir o que é realmente uma pequena cidade italiana

Room smelled of mildew

We had an economy room on the first floor and it was damp and smelled like mildew. The scent in itself was a huge drawback for me, it didn’t feel fresh at all. A rather plain room which was otherwise okay, I suppose although not cozy. The location is central but Colico is small so I imagine most places are quite close to the square and restaurants. What saves the hotel from a one star from me was that the breakfast was surprisingly big for Italy. Although the warm food (bacon, eggs etc) were pretty cold. Staff was friendly. If I had booked more than two rooms I would have gone through the trouble of asking for another room, although the hotel seemed to be fairly booked.

Sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer noch gut. Es ist ein solides 3-Sterne Hotel mit freundlichem und bemühtem Personal. Es ist sauber und das Frühstück war auch tip top. Einzig das WLAN funktionierte nicht wirklich bis gar nicht. Ich würde wieder kommen.

Colico - vi ses igen!

Meget hyggeligt lille hotel, tæt på søpromenanden og byens hovedgade.
Almindelig italiensk mad og drikke.
A/C på det ene, kun det ene, virkede ikke. Heldigvis var luften dejlig og derfor behøvede vi ikke A/C. Meget serviciemindet personale, der var både søde og imødekommende fra start til slut.
Colico er en meget ren lille by, med hygggelige restauranter og cafeer. Mega smukt bjerglandskab omkring byen. Masser af spisesteder og indkøbsmuligheder.

Fantastisk beliggenhet rett ved gamlebyen i Sirmione. Enkel og god tilgjengelighet for parkering rett utenfor hotellets område. På baksiden finnes det et basseng og stor hage med mange solsenger både i hage og ved basseng. Sjøen ligger rett ved hagen. Hotellet har også spa-avdeling med steamrom, badstu og massasje. Vil anbefale hotellet på det sterkeste!

Attention, il n’y a pas de parking sur place, il faut se rendre au parking de l’église en zone bleue limitée à 1h.
Nous avions une chambre en rez de chaussée dont le matelas était très vieux, impression de dormir dans un hamac…

Personnel cependant très gentil et bon petit déjeuner.

Prezzi da 4 stelle camera da una stella

La camera economy aveva i muri con la muffa, squallida, con mobili sbeccati e la porta rotta. Dopo diverse insistenze mi hanno assegnato una deluxe senza pagare la differenza. Sicuramente era una sistemazione migliore ma comunque non era assolutamente una camera da 4 stelle: mancava un pezzo di battiscopa, i muri erano pieni di macchie, le tende erano sporche, il terrazzino aveva due sdraio con i buchi di sigaretta e sedie luride. Posto assolutamente da evitare.

Apesar do serviço muito simpático e prestavel, e de uma forma geral a estadia ter sido agradável, o hotel poderia melhorar algumas coisas: qualidade e quantidade do pequeno almoço (pão seco, pastelaria de fraca qualidade, ovos mexidos em pouca quantidade, sumo de laranja aguado, etc...) e as almofadas da cama eram um pouco desconfortáveis.
