Arrival - Hotel sent a cab which was very small, so when they say sedan it is a small sedan. If you have more luggage opt for the big car. The driver was polite and helpful.
Check-in- Very quick and easy. Nothing Special. Most of the Hotel staff knows Russian but very few speak English. The Bell boy was helpful to move luggage to room, but to reach the deluxe bldg was a bit complicated. There was no direct access from the reception. You had to take 2 different elevators to get there. One major flaw was that they had only one elevator and that too was sometimes stuck. Also Deluxe rooms are far away from the beach, so keep that in mind. That is good if you need quite, but requires going through several elevators to go to the beach.
Drinks- Good and unlimited. Cocktails were average.
Food - Very much catered towards Russians. Not very regional cuisine. I in fact enjoyed local food outside than the resort food. There was a lot of food choice, just not to my liking. Also different types of restaurants are there but not included in the all inclusive.
Pools - Very good pools. Water was sometimes cold, even indoor pools. The most bad part was the floors in and around the pool were very slippery. Found that very unsafe for small kids. Other than that my daughter enjoyed it a lot.
Kid activities - They were good. My daughter enjoyed the dance activity in the evening.
Beach - ok. Nothing compared to Mexico. They are not sandy beaches. Also finding spaces under umbrellas was difficult.

Lovely hotel, good facilities, but VIP service not given- room service breakfast we booked and it turned up an hour late after chasing.
The free A La Carte meal wasn’t offered, although they deducted the cost once we complained.
Some exceptional staff like the pier bar, and the piano bar. Second time we have stayed here, probably wouldn’t stay again.

Nice resort with heated pools

Very nice hotel, especially the fact that ALL outdoor pools are pleasantly heated in November made our stay wonderful.
One downside was that the aircon didn't work during the day when the room was heating up due to the full day sun exposure of our room window...
Hotel is catering mostly to Russian guests, whose behaviors might not be for everyone...

This is our first trip to Antalya ,booked this hotel based on previous reviews ,arrived to the hotel very late at night ,the staff were very helpful ,reception staff mainly speak Turkish and Russian ,you can only find one who speak English ,usually very nice and helpfull , we booked 2 rooms ,gave the children standard room and us family room temporarily for one night ,I was annoyed as we weee suppose to have normal stanadard room ,then we had to move in the morning to our room which was next to our boys room ,from then onward everything was perfect ,facilities ,food is amazing !!! We were speechless with the food ,tennis and basket ball and swimming pools we the only facilities we used ,they were available all the time ,shows and disco every night with different theme each night ,it was a great holiday my boys enjoyed so much ; they loved Antalya and Alva Donna they want to come back ,excellent experience made it worthwhile and thinking of booking same hotel next year .

Amazing Hotel in Boğazkent

I booked the hotel for a mini break. I have a villa in a surrounding town and thought I'd take my family for treat for a few days. The hotel was fabulous. Beautifully decorated and very good taste. Loved it! Food was great and staff where so friendly and helpful. Would defiantly go back again and would recommend this hotel.

Beautiful Hotel

We spent 3 weeks at this hotel in April. What an amazing, beautiful and stunning hotel. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly, there were a few that were quite miserable and not very helpful. We had a Junior Suite which was very nice and kept very clean. The Animation Team were all great and very professional, especially Ali 4 who befriended us and made our holiday very special. We enjoyed his company very much, he is such a lovely guy.

The only criticism I have is that for two of the weeks we were at the hotel they had two big conferences, this made the restaurant far too busy and I didn't expect to have to queue and get pushed around for my food and then no tables were available and had to wait for a free table. I didn't expect this of a 5 Star Hotel.

Lovely child friendly hotel

This hotel is really nice. We got an upgrade upon check in to the new relax side. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. Marble floors and decor looks really nice. Staff are really hit and miss. You get the nice ones and you get the ones that have a 'can't be asked' attitude!

Overall nice hotel, nice staff and nice rooms. Would definitely cone back here.

Good hotel, but reduced facilities at season end

Great start to the holiday after a room mishap was dealt with efficiently. Excellent facilities and lively atmosphere. Kids really enjoyed the kids club and the staff were excellent. However we didn't get a welcome info pack, customer relations were not very informative. Mostly geared up for the large groups of Russian and German guests who had holiday reps in resort. We had to find all information on activities and excursions by ourselves. The pools were cold and resort started closing down before the end of the season. Air conditioning was switched off even though temp 24 degrees and our complaints were disregarded. Overall great value for a quality all Inc resort and would recommend it.

Beautiful very clean. Plenty restaurants to eat in. Lots going on through the day. Evening entertainment was good. Fantastic arena. Pools and flumes ideal. Lacking in lifeguards. 1 at the flumes but it was a bit of a free for all. Pier and beach lovely. would definitely return for another holiday.

had a wonderfull exp at the hotel, the only thing that i found was a bit odd was the pool area closes at 7pm even the indoor pool you are not allowed to swim past that time.

all in all the hotel was a great stay food, staff and facilities were great.

Amazing hotel in Antalya

Had a lovely week holiday in alva Donna highlights are definitely the evening shows in there own arena, great variety of food, you can eat and drink 24hrs straight if you wanted too!! with Al a carte available at an additional cost (we went to the steak house well worth it!) staff were very friendly always someone cleaning something, would recommend and return! We miss it already!

FANTASTIC

As a hotel experience the Alva Donna was outstanding from beginning to end. I cannot praise the hotel highly enough with the general manager taking a personal interest in our satisfaction daily & everything that took place to ensure the high standards are consistently met. Beautiful beach facilities, great choice of eating in multiple restaurants but above all else the general pleasant friendly nature of the very well trained staff shines through. No hesitation recommending this place and would definitely return. Couple of minor points only that frustrated-internet really patchy connectivity and the SPA massage prices are pricy unless you haggle-a couple of staff in both spas are a little pushy but no so much to spoil your experience!

Very nice Hotel, with a few small issues

There are far more positives than negatives here. The hotel generally is very lavish, the bars & restaurants are all very nice. The best rooms are in the \"Deluxe Wing\", worth upgrading too if you can. It is also a lot quieter everywhere in the Deluxe wing, but especially around the pool. The beach and the pier are very pleasant, From the pier you can dive into the sea from one of the decks, or enjoy a drink from the bar. I have to mention the staff, who where almost all very welcoming and will try to make sure you're happy. This hotel, is not really geared up for the English guest, most of the guests are Russian, Kazaks and German and this is reflected in the amount of English spoken (and the number of English guests). But we certainly didn't have any problem because of this. The food and drink was plentiful, and of very good quality. Premium brands are available in the bars, although sometimes you have to ask for them. Food is available 24 hours (from 9:30pm to 6:30am) in a good quality buffet restaurant close to the beach), if you arrive late or get puckish in the middle of the night. My biggest criticism of the hotel, is that there seems to be a lack of a \"yes\" policy. When you ask for anything out of the ordinary, a \"no\" often precedes a compromise into a \"yes\" We asked for a late checkout, and were told flatly \"no\", After a complaint, and a request to speak to the Manager, the answer was \"yes\". We found this on several occasions, and increasingly annoying!

Nice & impressive resort

We stayed in the new section of the hotel,which was very beautiful and had almost all the facilities that are also available in the main section.Spacious hotel with many facilities and long beautiful beach and large pools.Food was gteat with many varaieties.Down side,is the rudinesd of staff who upon check out refused to let the travel company car(transfer4turkey) to reach the hotel gate,and forced us to take the luggage by our selves and leave the hotel and cross the street in the hot weather,'all for security reasons,although they had allowed the car to enter upon our arrival.

L hotel est tres bien sauf que les distances pour aller a la plage ou a la piscine peuvent devenir penible si on a une chambre a l autre jout dans le complexe rescent ou se trouvent notamment les chambre dites « deluxe »
La nourriture un oeu répétitive

Il y a des cafés starbuck dispo en permanence !
Mais alors au petit dej dej et diner mes machines a cafe elle sont su siecle dernier. Tres surprenant quand en parallèle ils proposent un jus d orange frais magnifique

Il y a un vrainprobleme avec les materiaux de la piscine principale. Ils retiennent la chalzur a s en bruler les pieds reelement. Peu de verdure ce qui explique le puit a chaleur dzns l hotel. Sauf que cela persiste le soir notamment a l amphi elou au kids club ce qui est terrible en août. Peut etre tres adapter a la mi saison.

Otel iyi ama sürekli aynı yemekler

22 ocaktan 27 ocağına kadar kaldık. Komforu iyi bir Otel. Ekeikleri ve artışarı yazcam. Artılar bütün Personel Cana yakın misafir ile iletişimi çok iyi düzeydeydi. Garsonlar Barlar Houskeeping Animationdan Rico çok iyi taktir ettim herzaman çok Positive. Kapalı Havuzu küçük ama iyiyidi 2 küçük çocugmuz var mutlu oldular. Eksiler: yemek sürekli aynı yemek akşam yediğiniz sonraki öğlen yine geliyordu ve bu 5 gün sürdü Her gün aynı yemekten 2 aile gittik ve bıktık.
Animation Rico çabalıyordu ve güzel de yapıyordu sadece Dart Hariç bi şey yoktu. Akşam Programları da zayıf kaldı. Biz daha Önce Delphin İmperial Titanik Belek veya Granada da kaldık her üçü de daha iyi.Tatil genel anlamda Yaptık ama bir daha Alva Donna ya gitmeyiz en azından kış için.

Daha önce de kalmıştık çok güzel bir konaklama oldu biraz odanın ısıtması yeterli olmayabilir gerçi biz de teknik servise sormadık idare ettik iki ayrı odalı bir seçenekte kaldık ancak odalar oldukça küçüktü. Genel manada her zamanki gibi çok memnun ayrılıyoruz.

Sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, offene und herzliche Bedienung; super Angebot an Speisen; gutes Freizeit und Erholungs Angebot; sehr störend empfindet man jeden Abend bis um 2Uhr früh die lautstark ertönenden „Herzschlag Rhythmus“ Trommeln vom Musikpavillion. Das grenzt schon an Folter.
Schade um die doch ansonst so außergewöhnlich gute Bewertung.

За эти деньги какие они ставят, не советую

Просто отель, не как не эксклюзив, грязно, дерганый персонал в ресторане, детский сад шум гам, номера маленькие, под кроватью наблевано, пол и столы одной тряпкой вытирают, коктейли делают на отвали быстрей, единственное что понравилось это еда на обед и ужин.

This hotel is a rusian holiday camp with realy unfriedly service THE premium gym. Half of the equitment was not working sauna out of order later found out there was upstairs An other one wich they opend after 3 days . Food poor speciality restaurants never in mine live seen 3 different ones wich such a bad experience of tasting very poor . Waterparkslides only open from 2 Pm till 630 not open in the morning . Staff in general not very friendly . NEVER AGAIN

Wifi was niet werkende in mijn kamer dus negatief

Het is een hotel met veel faciliteiten, maar eten was altijd hetzelfde, geen wifi is voor een business man niet aan te raden.
Hotel had geen airco in mijn periode, dus 25 graden in de kamers.
Geen wisselgeld beschikbaar, raar voor zo'n hotel.
Geen gratis vervoer naar en van het hotel naar de luchthaven of antalya.
