We were simply looking for an affordable and comfortable place to stay overnight, but this hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were very clean and smelled fresh, and the entire property was well-maintained and organized. We loved the peaceful nature setting by the lake, as well as the spa amenities, sauna, hammam, gym, outdoor pool, and complimentary breakfast. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. A perfect place to relax and unwind away from the city. Highly recommended! 🤎🤎🤎

Fantastic hotel, great location to be based at to do your Eastern Township daily excursions. Beautiful view both from the front (lake) and the back (wooded area). Friendly staff behind desk, everything inside is remodelled, rooms are updated, spacious, and clean. Variety of room or suite set ups for your group. Great amenities, spa, sauna, small gym, a private beach across the street, pool, lots of lounge and deck space to sit and chill. And a great continental breakfast in the morning. You will not regret staying here!

Great views from both the front of the hotel and from the back. Amenities include a gym, saunas, hot tubs and outdoor pool. There is outdoor seating both on the nature reserve side (back) and on the lake (front), with bonfires and watercraft rentals. We were there a little early in the season (mid-April), so not everything was available or open.

The room was clean and comfortable. Really nice bathroom with a great waterfall shower. The beds were really comfortable. We both had great nights sleep.

We were able to move around, sitting in the lobby area before a blazing fire, and playing cards in the morning room. It felt very homey. The staff was warm and welcoming.

Very nice work out area too, with large windows allowing lots of natural light. Not a lot of equipment but certainly sufficient and in good condition.

We took advantage of the onsite spa, enjoying a relaxing massage. The sauna and hot tub areas were inviting and clean.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Hotel Lac-Brome!

The location is perfect for skiers, right in the middle of four mountains. The two bedroom suite was perfect for a family of four. Even in the winter, there are two outdoor hot tubs, a sauna and a eucalyptus steam room. Excellent for relaxing after a day skiing, snowshoeing or hiking. Knowleton is nearby for smaller shops and cafes, and other towns within a 25 minute drive with any other amenities. The continental breakfast was quite good. I could see this being a beautiful event venue for a wedding or other celebration, especially in the summer with the view over Lac Brome.

On-site laundry facilities would be a great addition, as would a wider selection of utensils in the kitchenette for prepping meals, but otherwise felt at home.

Had to ask for dish cloths and tea towels. Also, kitchen was only a small fridge, microwave and dishes. There was no way to cook food, the listing was misleading. Boiling water for tea was annoying as water had to boiled in small cups in the microwave. Should have had a kettle, cooktop and a few pans to even be called a kitchenette.

The setting is beautiful, with a view of Lac Brome.
However, other things are not ideal, especially for the price paid.
*Front desk staff were helpful, but not always with a smile or seeming very happy to help.
*Continental breakfast is not what I would expect from BC Signature Collection - while I understand it's continental, sugary cereal, toasts only... I would expect more. The room for breakfast is beautiful, and quite large, but yet not many table are set and many tables are only for 2. Many families had to just steal chairs and make due at a small table, or move their own tables. There could be more seating available based on the space.
*We were there during the winter holidays, the hotel seemed full. The girl working breakfast was alone and beyond able to keep up. So unfortunately, she was not able to be super friendly... but she couldn't keep up, and no one came to help her.
*Front desk being closed after 10PM isn't ideal when you have questions. And no phones in the rooms seem weird.
*HOt tubs we chose this hotel for that feature, wanted to enjoy the hot tubs where our kids were skiing. That afternoon ended up the hot tubs could not be used as a sewage truck was pupping the septic tank for 3-4 hours. The noise was unbearable from our room and the smell in the hotel, our room and by the hot tub was putrid. When we mentioned our concerned to the supervisor at the front desk, nothing was done except apology.
*Shower in the room was unusable - no pressure or too hot

Hottubs could use some work, no chlorine tablets in the floating dispenser and tons of foaming which is typically a red flag for hottubs. Breakfast was not something to look forward to in the morning, it was very minimal but the coffee was hot. Overall, good place to crash.

The hotel is in a lovely setting and a great location close to the ski slopes in Eastern Township. The suites are nice & functional. The hotel lobby with the fire place was lovely. The staff were very friendly & professional. Compare to The photos on the Avion app “executive suite” was not the same suite that we got - that was misleading/disappointing. A note taped on the electric fire place that it was in process of renovation; this was where the cold air seeped into the room causing it to be extremely cold, and we couldn’t heat up the room throughout the night. We had to ask for extra pillows and blankets. It would take the day to warm up the suite. Not acceptable. Shower head water would take several minutes to warm up (not hot enough); so we took our showers at night. As well, not enough lighting (floor and desk lamps to provide lighting for entire main unit). A big disappointment was that the kids could not use the sauna/hot tub with parents - after a day of skiing, they were looking forward to that. The late breakfast was very simple - some cereal, some fresh fruit, unappealing de-shelled hard boiled eggs in water (?), sliced toast & yogurt with some toppings, and croissants that were overbaked and got hard under the heat lamp. Coffee and tea available. No hot breakfast or protein options. Oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausages/bacon would be nice to add; need to open at 630/7am because 730am too late for breakfast. Lovely staff but probably won’t return.

Two bathrooms, a well stocked kitchenette, Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the complimentary breakfast had a great sample of goodies. The room was clean and neat. The little desk area was perfect for my laptop. The table and chairs at the foot of the bed was perfect for morning coffee. The view of Lac-Brôme was breathtaking. The restaurant was closed during the days of our stay so we aren’t able to comment on this. Breakfast was nice with varied cold selections. Our only complaint was the need for a night light and a softer mattress. There is a bit of a tripping hazard going into the rooms that could be a concern for some.

The room is quite nice, although having two chairs and a little table would have been nice. The bathroom is really nice and the shower very enjoyable. They need to do something about the continental breakfasts. Although there is a spread, it is so uninviting. Most mornings, the croissants were so hard. And it's the same thing every morning. You have to clean your own table, put your dishes in bins. Not a great expérience as far as breakfast is concernés.

The property outside needs some care but the interior is very nice and clean. The service is actually VERY poor. At check in we were given a card to access the room and that was that. We had to ask for the location of the room, we had to ask for the hotel services and facilities, and also about breakfast. Smiles were also not available.

The next day we were told that the kayaks use was not included in our fare because we booked via Expedia. Kayaks are free for hotel guest but not for us. In fact, the employees left us with the impression that Expedia guest are a lower class. probably they do not realize that we would not have found them if it wasn’t for Expedia and now we really don’t feel like going back. It’s an unfortunate attitude!

The beach attendant was the only hotel employee that had a friendly attitude.

The breakfast was average, but the croissants tasted like from the day before.

The restaurant that operates in the hotel, Un vrais delice, is new and highly recomendable. Excellent food, friendly service and good atmosphere. The Snaper was un vrais delice!

We will go back to the restaurant but not to stay in this hotel.

The King room was very roomy and the rain shower has very good pressure. Loved the balcony with view of the lake and sunset. The bed was very comfortable, I was able to connect my Roku for extra streaming channels. The hot tub was large and enjoyable although it was not hot and took too much time to get to the expected temperature, still it was nice, with a sauna inside. The breakfast area is spacious with lots of windows, the breakfast has everything you need. The pool was clean and the pool area was very pleasant and cozy. There's an area by the lake to sit with a fire to keep you warm. The whole experience was very nice, except for the lack of dining choices at the hotel; there's no room service and it's a fancy restaurant so if you're not in the mood, the only place that delivers in the area is the pizzeria. At least their food was good. The staff was nice but lacked hospitality. I would definitely go back for some R&R.

Room was sold as lake view in reality it was just parking view. Property photos are very misleading.
Overall comfort and cleanliness was very poor. They didn’t properly vaccum room before we checked in. Patios had lot of cobwebs, not cleaned in years.
Only good thing was pool and hot tub.
I won’t recommend considering the price.

Très bien!

Très belle expérience à cet hôtel. J'ai bien aimé qu'on puisse faire un feu sur le bord du lac en soirée et louer un canot pour une balade sur le ruisseau tranquille. Le héron qui y habite est beau à voir. Le personnel est très gentil.

Obviously, the timing of our visit preceded much activity at the hotel - we practically had it to ourselves.
Check in was a bit convoluted since the desk clerk could not find our reservation, but with my receipt it was quickly resolved. We were quite early, but she did check us in and showed us to our spacious room. I had specified a walk-in shower, but the room had only a tub/shower combination. For one night it was fine. The setting both in front of hotel and at back where we were was beautiful. Only complaints - lack of good seating options and lighting was mediocre. Appointments otherwise were very nice.
I had suggested we could pass some time in bar area if room was not ready - clerk's response \"it won't open until maybe June\" described the situation very well - in season this would be a great choice!

It was a mediocre stay. But I understand that I booked during the least busiest time during year. Not much was going on around the area.
