Nice facility, I enjoyed it!

The Leonardo Royal Resort Hotel Eilat is a medium sized, medium range hotel. Nice big pool, great breakfast, friendly service, comfortable room -- all good!.

During korona times we expected the room to be clean. The minute we came inside we noticed a leftover food and a baby pacifier on the floor. well....
The swimming pool was fine but noisy.

Great place to enjoy Eilat! We loved this hotel and the staff! Adriana is the only staff member that speaks Spanish and she was so nice and helpful! I highly recommend this hotel

Nice family stay

Food was good, though long lines in the morning for breakfast. Hotel was very loud during check in.
Pool area is lovely. It was winter so too cold to get in the water but kids enjoyed playing in the the not too hot tub. I wish the pool was heated.
Kids club was great very welcoming kids loved going and we loved having adult time. The staff member Lilach was warm and sweet.
Room was a very tight squeeze and was not accessible with the luggage which is a problem I never had that in a hotel. It was difficult. During check in we were offered help which was very appreciated.
Also parking was hard, only a couple dozen spots and first come first serve.
The hotel had special treats and candy out every night which was fun. Location was good walkable to nice restaurants and beach and boardwalk.
The breakfast staff Chymon was extremely kink and helpful

Great location, friendly staff

The property looks a bit aging but you get what you paid for. Excellent location, walkable distance to the beach and malls. Very thoughtful welcome gift including a bottle of red wine, water and fruit. Like the very friendly staff, special thanks to Adriana (receptionist) who is very attentive to details and go an extra miles to serve customers. We met her on the next day in a day tour to Petra and she came up to greet us (remember our name) and reminded us what we need to do when we cross the border. Thank you so much! Highly recommend this hotel and we will come back again.

Very good meal, various dishes.

Too far to 5 star hotel, would say strong 3. 5 star would give for the meal, but not for hotel :) but still you have to compare price, the price of this option in Eilat was ok, so if you want to rest in a real 5 star hotel, you have to pay 2-3 times more.

Very relaxing atmosphere at hotel

The Friday evening and shabbat morning buffet meals were fantastic. Great selection of delicious foods. My 14 and 17 year old children also loved the hotel stay. The Beit Knesset was good and we had a lovely shabbat. Very relaxing after running the Desert Marathon.

Nice place to stay!

The hotel was very nice! While we arrived too late to enjoy the pool, the front desk was helpful in many arrangement requests. The proximity to other restaurants and the coral reef was also perfect. Would recommend this hotel.

Last night in Eilat after 2 days in Jordan. Not smart to put seniors on lowest floor needing to carry luggage up/down 6-7 stairs. Nice pool but started closing it up at 3:30 pm too early

Some things need better care....

Room good size, bed good size, fridge gives off heat (not a good idea in a permanent summer environment), bath curtain doesn't reach tub so water goes all over the bathroom floor, electricity outrage after which the AC did not work. Just as there is a price list for laundry and dry cleaning, there should be a price list of things that can be ordered (such as more water and a refill for the coffee and tea) from room service. If some items are gratis, it should be stated. Staff were friendly and unobtrusive. Not enough access from ramps to the half floors (even 3-4 steps can be too much when it's hard to walk...). Some floor tiles were cracked (as were wall/ceiling joins, and door joists) and the general feeling was one of not enough time to handle the upkeep that the structure demands.

The hotel was value for money and we enjoyed it much. The downside of things actually relate to the website (i.e. hotels.com) where we booked the hotel. The reason is that it was not possible to clearly understand that breakfast was not included in the room rate. The hotel was great in willing to allow us to take breakfast despite not paying for it, but again two things on hotels.com were not ok: 1. It was not possible to see that breakfast is not included; 2. We were offered to insert the booking automatically to our calendar and when we did it, it was written as if we booked an \"all included reservation\", which in fact meant that we were also entitled for dinner, breakfast and more. MY TIP: make sure exactly what you have booked before paying and if it is not clear, call the hotel before approving the transaction/order.

For the price and location it's excellent, good very good brakefast,and dinner. Nightly show and entertainment for the. whole family, 10 minutes walk to board walk and beach near shopping and malls it was very good experience for my family and will recommend to others for sure.

The ice mall is 5 min walk and the best resturant in eilat \"achla\" is a 2 min walk water sports is a short distance. The hotel served the best breakfast and there was a show followed by a comedian no charge

Rather ok but looks \"used\"

The hotel is ok but not that as you may think, it really looks \"used\", poor cleaning service (eg. look at the sink in the bathroom from the inside....mildew), room rather clean but at corridors it doesn't look so good, very dirty in the sauna, cold water in the swimming pool (which closes at 4 pm), free wifi ok but the quality is about 3/5, air condition wasn't working properly; to sum up -> good price but hotel needs renovation, my stay was without any food service so cannot say a word about it, shop is quite near the hotel -> for this price it is a nice choice

The hotel itself is nothing to write home about.
Average rooms, OK grounds.
Nothing too special and average overall look.
HOWEVER - staff is amazing!!! Super super friendly.
Kids' club is wonderful. They had great activities - baking, crafts, shows and much more.
Location is great, too.

Good location and money worth but...

Hotel location and money worth are very good. Sadly to say in the past under different management this hotel was much better, especially maintenance and cleaning wise. Overall it was ok, but still lack of maintenance gave the sense of old and dirty and that's too bad.

I have Ben here during the desert marathon at Eilat.
Winter is weak season in Eilat
Hotel is not expensive but feels like luxury hotel.
Rooms are clean, stuff is very service oriented, and the pool is quiet and clean.
Good hotel for Israelis and also for tourist .
Very recommended.

Overall good hotel for price

The hotel was good overall, and the staff was kind. The breakfast (that was included) had a variety of foods. The pool was nice and had plenty of activities for children, and it is a short walk from the hotel to the beach or the local malls.

Good location 3 star (honest) property

The hotel is really a 3 star property (international standard). Staff does its best to help guests and solve eventual problems (for anyone that knows the lack of service culture that prevails in Israel will certainly appreciate the effort). It is a good place to spend a night and go to the attractions in the city.

If you have a car you will notice that Parking needs significant improvement.

My concern is your presentation about this hotel for the breakfast and internet and I choose it only to have internet in the room so i could work. It was writing internet high speed in the room and when I check in they told me no internet so i was really disappointed.I call your agency and the girl didn't care to help me.really bad to help your costumer in that way I felt like I was disturbing you to get some help, I was nothing and I will never choose your site again there is so many others.

It has to be only hotel in Israel that does not include breakfast as part of the nightly rate. My patents stayed at another hotel close by that was 50usd cheaper a night that included breakfast & wifi, this hotel offered neither. Also don't expect clean towels in your room even after room was serviced, you have to call housekeeping to bring you towels. When I complained to the front desk, they told me this happens all the time, guess they don't care.

The only thing that was nice was the pool!!

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean and nicely made up and the breakfast buffet was amazing - the food was never ending. A few issues we had were as follows. Firstly, internet service is not available in each room, but rather only in the lobby for an $8/hour fee. Also, the hotel lobby and hallways had a very strong odor (a mix between sewerage and air freshner) which at times was a bit overwhelming. The hotel grounds were clean and well maintained. The pool area was great and the location of the hotel is a 5-7 minute walk from the beaches and the mall. If you're interested in staying right on the beach, expect to pay more than double the price.

קחו נשימה... אז איפה נתחיל כבר בחנייה מתחילה הנפילה משאיות אספקה חוסמות את הכניסה לאורחים ולך תמתין שייסימו לפרוק.
שירות קבלה לא מקצועי ותוקפני וחסר כול תודעת שירות שמתחיל במנהל הקבלה רונן ויורד למטה עד לאחרון העובדים שנראים כאילו שרות זה לא חלק מהלקסיקון שלהם והם רק מחכים לסיום המשמרת.
במהלך השהות אין שום דרך להשיג את מרכז השרות לאורח שפשוט לא עונים...
שטחים ציבורים מטונפים ושטיחים שלא ראו שואב אבק מזה זמן רב... בחדר תקבלו ריהוט מתפרק וילונות מטונפים ובעיקר תחושת זלזול באורח.
ארוחת הבוקר דלה ולא מחדשים את מה שנגמר, הכיסאות וסביבת השולחנות מטונפים ודביקים.
מעליות שמשרתות גם את העובדים וגם את האורחים כך שתמצאו את עצמכם נהדפים החוצה מהמעלית על ידי עובד שצריך לבצע את עבודתו.
בבריכה הרבה מיטות שיזוף שבורות ואנשים מעשנים בכול מקום למרות חוקי המלון שלא נאכפים ובפועל אנשים מעשנים בכול השטחים הציבוריים.
צוות בידור מעיק ואגרסיבי.
תמצאו את עצמכם יורדים לקבלה שוב ושוב בגלל מפתחות לא תקינים ותעמדו בתור עם אנשים עצבניים שזכו לאותו פינוק וגם לפרצוף חמוץ מצוות הקבלה.
חוץ משטיפת מוח שתקבלו בבריכה משיר ההמנון של פתאל פתאל מארחים \"באהבה\" היו בטוחים שלא אהבה ולא שירות תמצאו שם...
אם כול זה לא עשה לכם חשק... \"לנפוש\" ברשת פתאל נסו להשיג את מרכז השרות הארצי שלהם רק אל תשכחו לקחת לפני יום חופש ושני כדורי הרגעה.

Pas à la hauteur

A 1ère vue, hôtel pas trop mal mais il ne faut pas chercher dans le détail, quand vous regardez de plus près, on se rend compte que ce n’est plus la même chose : salle de bain vétuste, draps et serviettes de bain pas toujours très propres, ménage approximatif et surtout bruyant, jour comme nuit, les vacanciers ne respectent pas le voisinage, c’est affreux.
Le pire est l’état de saleté des parties communes, restaurant, piscine, pelouse etc…
Les gens prennent le personnel pour des esclaves, qui les pauvres passent derrière eux toute la journée pour ramasser leurs déchets qui laissent trainer partout.
Alcool, cigarettes, même cigarettes roulées euphorisantes, autour de la piscine, à la vue de tous et surtout l’odeur pour les enfants, malgré ces interdictions signalées par panneau, ils continuent.
Sans parler des maitres-nageurs qui font la police toute la journée et qui ramassent des gobelets plastiques dans l’eau, et de la nourriture autour de la piscine.
Je pense que la direction de cet hôtel doit sévir pour que l’ordre et les règles soient respectés par tous.
Par ailleurs, le prix pratiqué pour les chambres est délirant par rapport aux prestations, c’est beaucoup trop cher.

Al llegar nos dieron una habitacion que no era lo que habiamos reservado. Ante el reclamo nos dijeron que no tenian otra disponible y que al haber reservado a traves de un sitio, no podian asegurar que hubiese disponibilidad.
Al dia siguiente nos cambuaron a la habitacion que correspondia a lo que habiamos reservado realmente.
En ese traslado dejanos olvidado algunas pertenencuas y avisamos inmediatanente para que nos las guardaran, pero si bien tomaron el reclamo, nos dijeron que las personas de limpieza las habían tirado.
Por otra parte, algunas personas que brindan servicio al pasajero, no se muestran cordiales al momento de la atención.

Hotellia mainostetaan neljän tähden hotellina. Ei pidä paikkansa. Oikea tähditys on 3-* ja aamupala saa 4*
Ebookers vahvisti minulle, että tilattu huone on TWIN. Sitä se ei ollut. Huoneen sohvasta oli tehty toinen sänky, joka oli kivikova. Huone ei muutenkaan ollut kunnossa. Me ei tähän suostuttu, vaan vaadimme huonetta, josta olimme maksaneet. Hotelli oli täynnä, joten kahdeksi yöksi saimme huoneen kadun puolelta, joka oli todella meluisa. Loppuöiksi saimme huoneen altaan puolelta, jossa amme ei toiminut, vaan vesi lillui siinä. Aika yökättävää ja siivous oli, kun katsoi lattioita, sinnepäin. Viikon lomasta meni selkkauksiin ihan turhaa energiaa.

Забронировал и оплатил за полтора месяца до предпологаемого заезда. Приехал с семьёй на 12 часов позже, не могли попасть в номер из-за не работающего ключа, предложили другой- номер не подготовлен был на размещение 3х человек. Завтрак - сыр,овощи и соленая рыба. Разочарованы после Иерусалима!!!!

מלון חביב...החדר מרווח ונקי מאוד, מיטה גדולה ונוחה.
הלובי וכניסת המלון מאוד מוזנחים וזקוקים לשיפוץ. הבריכה גדולה ונקייה. האוכל טרי וטעים, תמיד יש ממנו בשפע- אך לדעתי חסר בו גיוון למי שאיננו אוכל בשר. העמידה בתור לחדר אוכל אינה מכבדת את המלון.
בבריכה יש להשליט יותר סדר- אנשים מעשנים, שותים אלכוהול, וקופצים לבריכה על ראשים של אחרים על אף שמצוין בשילוט שאין לעשות זאת. חוסר אכיפה מאוד מפריע ויוצר אי סדר וחוסר נוחות למי שמחפש חופשה שקטה ונינוחה.
נותני השירות מעולים- קיבלנו מענה מיידי לכל צרכינו ובסבר פנים יפות.

גם באותיות הכתנות לא ברורות מספיק

שיכנו אותנו בחדר מרתף, לטענתם הזמנו חדר קומפורט שלנו זה לא אמר שום דבר אבל אצלהם הכוונה היתה לחדר במרתף וחבל.

המלון מעולה והאוכל למרות שהיינו בפסח היה ממש טעים. הטלוויזיות למרות שהצטיידו במסכים חדשים עדיין השידור היה על הפנים, מטושטש ולא הצליחו לסדר. כריות לא נוחות מעבר לכך הכל מעולה :)
