The hotel's pool was closed, no gym and no spa, the rooms were big and the A/C not that strong while the lower temperature had to be adjusted by the receptionist.

Fantastic stay

Brilliant stay for the last 3 nights we only wished we could have stayed longer. Large clean modern family room. The reception staff were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The pool area and the hotel overall were fantastic. Location of the hotel couldn’t be more convenient.

Plenty of parking for free, close to Gardaland and short drive to Movieland. Small downtown area nearby which has some solid restaurants and hotel/Room was clean. Employees had a bit of an attitude but they were helpful so it worked out. Would 100% stay here so many things to do around and at the hotel.

This hotel was great! Has a nice little pool and several eating options. We walked to Gardaland for the day and drive down to Lazise for a nice dinner. The morning breakfast is very convenient and they had a nice spread, more than just a cold, continental breakfast.

Great property, very popular with families due to its proximity to the amusement park Gardaland as well as the Garda lake.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with any request, the breakfast and dinner buffets had plenty of fresh and diverse options. The room was par for the course, however I found quite strange that there was no ventilation system which could cope with the water vapour after a shower.

Our stay here was amazing! Although we were only here for one night, we wish we got to stay longer. The building, rooms, and staff are all lovely. This is in very close proximity to Gardaland and Movieland for some fun day trips. We would absolutely recommend!

Great stay if you are visiting Gardaland, which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The included buffet breakfast was outstanding! My only complaint is that if you use the pool, you just rent towels and purchase swim caps.

Staff was great and so was the hotel. Very comfortable clean and nice room. Perhaps a little over priced for my opinion. Recommend you hire a car to get around if traveling around Garda as taxi can result expensive as it’s a bit away from center.

A good hotel, but with a great disappointment.

This is our second time at this hotel. The staff at the dining hall is not frienldly at all, pretty messy, not well oraganized. Lack of man power. They accuse the guests with their faults. The prepaid dinner does not include any water or beverages!!! Be aware, and do not order anything there. They will charge a lot of money for that! Awful sercive of the managment that doen't care! The reception desk is helpful and very kind snd polite. Mattresses are too soft, and should be changed. Rooms are clean.

The hotel has a very good location.
The shower had curtains not attached to the floor thus the bathroom was flodded after every use.
The twin bed was not very comfortable and felt like the shape of the former guests.
The breakfast was quite boaring.
Donatella from the ticket point was very helpfull and very nice.

Pleasing: the waiting staff and Laura, the manager were very welcoming and helpful to us

Disappointing: the food in terms of variety, quality and price were not up to the standard of a nearby hotel.
As the location near to the amusement parks is a selling point, much more could be done to help guests to get there e.g. a dedicated shuttle bus that would take the guests directly to the parks from the hotel and back rather than guests having to try and catch an unreliable free bus service from the main roads. The pool was dirty and badly refurbished.

Modern, clean hotel, but car is a must in the area

Modern, clean hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms.
Good variety of hot and cold foods for breakfast including eggs, bacon, etc, and fresh fruit, yoghurts, cakes/bakery.
A car is a must unless you are happy walking 15 mins in stifling August heat to bus stop with fares of about EUR2 per person to Lazise or Peschiera. EUR4.80 to get to Malcensine, Taxis are very hard to get hold of especially the bigger ones if you are a group or larger family.
Walking distance to Gardaland park.
Swimming pool is ok, unusual because it is shallow all around the edges and only gets deep towards the middle.
No late evening facilities, bar open til about 11pm.
Good hotel if you have a car, otherwise a bit out of the way if you have tor rely on public transport.
Would be good if hotel arranged shuttle service to Peschiera/Lazise.

The hotel was close to Gardaland. Which is what we wanted. The kids loved the pool and the activities that the hotel provided for kids of all ages. At breakfast, they were excited to see Aki. The room was comfortable and the ice cream treats we had at the downstairs bar were delicious.

Modern and clean hotel

We were met by very friendly and helpful staff. The room was large and had everything required. Since it was my husbands birthday they even had a birthday card in the room for when we arrived. It was a lovely walk to Gardaland once we knew we could go down the scenic back road. Overall a really enjoyable stay.

Top hotel, it’s perfect for holiday with kids. All the parks are within 10 mins, the location is perfect. The location is simply perfect, pool is great, the pool party is fun for families. The only annoying part was the hotel did not provide a ironing board to iron clothes. But I would highly recommend this hotel. Enjoyed the stay!!

Would highly recommend you look elsewhere for your trip, especially on weekends! They were having a crazy pool party (we didn't know prior to booking) and we had been out in town during the day and couldn't find a way to park when we got back. it took 45 minutes of driving around for some cars to move so we could finally access the parking garage as there were SO many cars around for this party that we couldn't even park as hotel guests. We booked the half board rate thinking it would be convenient. We found mold on the cheese at the dinner buffet, they said they could accommodate Gluten free but the last night I ordered a GF pasta and it took 20 minutes to get to me. After that, the pasta was disgusting (worst pasta my husband or I had ever had). But, because it took so long to come out, I was unable to order another dish to eat. The wait staff asked how the pasta was and we said it was not good, and they just said \"oh\" and proceeded to clean up around us. If you stay here, DO NOT PAY FOR FULL OR HALF BOARD. Food will be a large disappointment and it appears as if the hotel doesn't even check to see if the food has gone bad before serving it.

Reception staff helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
Quad room plenty big enough for family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Cleaned daily.
Pool adequate sized with enough sun beds for all.
Relaxed atmosphere
Location means you need to be prepared to walk or drive.
Let down by restaurant. We were half board. Tables not set up ready. No real seating system. Food cooked well but very limited in choice. Regularly needed milk urns filling up/cereals replacing etc. Lots of staff around but seemed oblivious.

Lovely hotel for families

Very lovely hotel! Nice and clean room with breathtaking views of Garda lake!!! We really enjoyed our stay here!!! Our son loved the swimming pool and entertainment for kids. The food was great and the pool side bar also provided great snacks and drinks. We had salad there which was really tasty. Also can’t thank enough the lovely receptionist, Jesica , for being extremely helpful and very very pleasant. She was always more than happy to help us out if we had any questions or giving recommendations about things to do round the hotel. So a very Big Thank You to Jesica!!!
Would definitely come back here again and recommend to others !!!

Great hotel in the best location

We really enjoyed at the hotel which is located in the center of all the attractions on the SE side of the lake.
Gardaland is only 10 minutes walk.
The staff are awsome and Aki is the best!!

very nice hotel. rooms are pretty good.
Had some issues with the AC when we were there, the AC in the rooms was not working. not a good thing in August.
Breakfast was great, services and staff were very nice and accommodating.
They had a very nice pool party for the guests on a Friday which was awesome, great food and music by a DJ.

Clean, new, reasonable. Good if somewhat overpriced dinner, but limited choice for breakfast. On site thick dough style pizza place (Opera) is a revelation. The downside is wifi, it just didn't work - the connection constantly drops and that made my stay a problem. Rooms are sparkling clean, mattresses are on the firm side. Air conditioner didn't work, toilet leaked for 3 days with nobody caring to show up and fix it. Staff are \"unintrusive\", overworked attitude (but could be the case due to the holidays season). Despite that, really good place - by Italian standards.

Nice hotel close to Lake Garda.

The hotel is in a good location to Lake Garda. Based in Pacengo, Gardaland is in eLking distance as is the town Lazise, Peschiera del garda etc. We got a train to Venice from Peschiera del Garda (approx 1hr 30 min). Verona is also nearby by bus or train. Make sure you validate your train or bus tickets as we didn't realise this had to be don and was fined 30 euro each.
The hotel was nice, clean and friendly. The food was ok nothing to shout about. We would come back if visiting the area again. The staff where very helpful and answered any queries and travel information we had. They looked on line and helped us plan trips.

Excellent location within walking distance of Gardaland and Caneva world, short walk to town of Pacengo and Lake front, easy cycling distance to the larger towns of Peschiera, Sirmione and Lazise.
Hotel facilities are good quality, rooms are very clean and well laid out, staff are friendly and very helpful, and the onsite Pizza restaurant is outstanding.

We stayed for two nights.Good parking ,good wifi,the hotel is quite new and well maintained .Our room was smallish but the bathroom worked ,the small fridge did its job and it was clean.

Great hotel and location for Gardaland Theme Park

Stayed here for 4 nights from England, on arriving at around 9pm Hotel staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful. Lots of free parking on site also. Rooms are good size with a very nice rainfall shower, we stayed in a Triple room which consisted of two single beds put together and a Sofabed. Air con seemed to be on a timer and i could not change this however room was a good temperature (stayed May). My only problem with the room was there wasn't a kettle so i couldn't make my English tea in the morning. Breakfast is a buffet and there is a good selection of hot and cold food. Location is around 5 minute walk to Gardaland theme park. Overall was a good stay and would highly recommend. Thanks to all the staff.

Ten minutes walk from Gardaland and restaurants

We used the facilities just for three nights sleeping, bath, breakfast, parking and wi-fi. Everything was flawless. From there was really easy to enjoy the eastern part of the lake Garda including the restaurants and Gardaland at walking distance.

The only good thing is being close to Gardaland

Dismal experience, reception staff were not interested in us as tourists as the large group bookings kept them busy. Getting information was difficult and we were pretty much on our own. Small caffe at the lobby was quite good, nice food at good rates and staff there was friendly.
Although hotel claims to be kids friendly, this is only in papers. Kids events were cancelled at short notice without any reason or explanations, pool was closed even though weather was quite warm. Dont go by the photos and advertisements, a lot of what is said never happened while we were there.

The hotel was spotless and the staff really helpful and friendly. The pool was really clean and warm and we always got a sunbed, this was in July though.
Breakfast was buffet style and there was an excellent choice. The car park was underground and very secure.

Just a sleepover before visiting Gardaland. The hotel was good and much better value than the one we had night before in Jesolo. Just one minus was the pool; you were not allowed to walk to pool on swimming suit but there was no changing rooms at the pool. Doh! Also the pool was surrounded by lawn so water was full of grass and smelled. Restaurants were good and late checkout was easily arranged so we were quite happy

Really nice relaxed hotel.

The staff were outstanding, so polite and helpful. The best I've ever come across. My wife was taking ill and they stepped up to it in so many ways, even sending a driver to collect her at the hospital as I was with my daughter in the hotel room.

Lots of parking, breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and a large outside eating area. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely and featured a great modern bathroom, air-conditioning and a small balcony.

The swimming pool was a decent size with lots of loungers.

We wouldn't go back to the Arte Del Gusto restaurant in the hotel though as the menu was all the same - featuring only variations on a slightly weird, very thick-based pizza.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parchi del Garda.
Superb team, right the way through from reception, kids club to the concierge staff.
All extremely friendly and very efficient.
We were on B&B basis and food quality and variety was to a good standard.
Gardaland (Italy's equivalent of Alton Towers) literally 2 mins down the road was also a fantastic day out. Our 4 year old son thouroughly enjoyed it with plenty for him to see and do. We were able to purchase advance tickets from the hotel shop and were also discounted.
If you are looking for a good quality, clean, friendly, family orientated hotel then book this place, you will not be disappointed.

Great family hotel, good location walking distance to gardaland. Best to have a car to get around easily. Friendly staff and entertainment each night in form of a band. Pool also great.

Family room for 3 is spacious, we had 2 triple rooms with a joining door. Easily slept 5 of us. (2 adults. 3 kids 17, 13, 10).

We don't often go back to a hotel, but we will definitely go back to this one. Great staff on reception, in fact all the staff were excellent. Very friendly, relaxed and efficient at the same time. Really good breakfast and for a extra payment an excellent buffet in the evening. Entertainment at the pool and bar. We would recommend a car to get around as the hotel is outside of the town and it's difficult to walk, mainly due to lack of pavements.

Two to a Room

Do not book a quadruple with the mindset that 4 people will be comfortable. Great hotel as long as you keep the people to room ratio at 2:1. The mattresses are terrible. Everything else is fine.

Clean comfortable hotel.

Positives - well kept, clean new hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable. Bed linen and towels clean very day if needed. 2 restaurants- buffet breakfast ok but the same every day. Got bit boring after 4th day. Pizza restaurant very nice and different take on the usual type of pizza.

Negatives - Hotel situated away from main towns so if you haven't hired a car is quite difficult to get around. Taxis were expensive on some occasions. The local buses are very cheap but also very crowded. Had to walk along the main road, no pavements to get to bus stop. Very dangerous if you have young children with you.

Nice hotel close to Gardaland Park

Near Gardaland Park .. It is only 1 km walking distance. Restaurant buffet is awesome. Great breakfast.
The only weak issue is that the mattress is too hard and pillows too flat.

Lake Garda stay

A lovely hotel it would be great if you had kids and wanted to visit Garda land or movie land as they are really close by . Personally we would have preferred to stay in lazis or Garda itself as we were reliant on buses . When we go back to lake Garda we will stay there at a hotel where we can walk home at night from our night out.

A superb top class 4 star hotel!

I take my hat off to the staff at HPG! They're all friendly, polite and very helpful.We were always greeted with smiles especially Pamela and the rest of the children's entertainment team. The children absolutely love them. My 4 year old daughter enjoyed taking part in the club's activities especially during the aqua zumba at 4 in the afternoon. The quality of the hotel's facilities is definitely 4star plus and the food choice and quality is amazing! I will certainly take my family back here for a holiday!!!

Excellent contemporary family hotel

We don't usually stay in many hotels preferring to holiday in villas or apartments. However, we decided on staying in a hotel that was close to Gardaland for our two children (12 and 9 years old). We researched thoroughly and found the reviews on this hotel excellent so we booked ourselves in for a few days before we moved closer to Lake Garda for the remainder of our summer break. From start to finish our stay was excellent; the reception staff were very friendly and attentive, and the facilities were to a very high standard and kept constantly clean and tidy. In fact all staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality and variety of the food in the restaurant was also of a high standard, and the bar provides great coffees, cocktails and gelati until late at night. Without doubt I would definitely recommend this hotel as it won't disappoint.

Family friendly hotel near Lake Garda

A very good standard is set by this hotel with everything included in the price.
We had a lake facing room which was spotlessly cleaned each day.
The room was comfortable and included a free safe and good refrigerator.
Wi-Fi worked in our room also and depending where we sat by the pool it also was available.
The system at the pool was on a first come first served basis for loungers and umbrellas and towels are provided free of charge.
Parking in or around the hotel was also free and plentiful which is good because a car is essential.
The hotel is located in just about the best place on the lake for travelling to other resorts and also visiting Milan,Venice,Verona and Mantova.

Great hotel for families

Modern and extremely clean hotel with great service - staff couldn't do enough for you. It would have been all 5's however the only 2 downsides were the room, smaller than anticipated and no drawers. Plus the local area is beautiful but you do need a car as you are 5 mins drive from the nearest large town so if you want to eat out your options are limited in the immediate vicinity - although the Locanda Gallehus is excellent and witin 10 mins walk from the hotel..
