Fantastic hotel with lots of parking and even has a free shuttle bus to the Gardaland theme park. Room was very clean and recently refurbished/decorated. Room also had a balcony which we were not expecting. Only issues i found was the doors and walls are not very well sound proofed so if you visit when kids are off school then the is lots of noise in the evening and morning from other rooms and the other issue was the hair dryer was not working.

This was an ok hotel. It didn’t feel 4*. Odd outdated rules on swimming caps with their extortionate charge to purchase them felt quite mean. Kids entertainment was decent. We’ll set up for access to Gardaland parks

Amazing food quality and service

I want to call out the food quality and taste. The buffet variety was incredible and the food prepared with high quality, fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed my stay.
The only issue was the cold temperature in the room. The reception provided us with a heater and that greatly helped to make our stay more comfortable.

Our stay wasn’t the usual most would book here for.

We wanted to explore around Garda as well as use the theme park for our 4 year old.

We stayed for 8 nights using the theme park for 3 of these days.

The hotel was a great base, the room spacious and very clean. We had a ground floor room with table and chairs outside which was ideal for nighttime when our child was asleep to have a drink and relax without waking him.

The pool area is again very clean and great for the children. With a small bar serving food and drinks throughout the day. The sun beds plentiful and very good with sun shades above the head area. Busy time 4-7pm but it was never busy enough to enjoy thoroughly.

The only downfall was the mandatory use of swimming hats which we didn’t have to use anywhere else. And are €5 a pop of you don’t have one.

We only used the on site restaurant once as we are not big buffet fans, and we where able to eat out locally every night for the same or cheaper. If you are driving there are some fantastic restaurants within 10 minutes where a family of 3 can eat and drink plenty for €60-€80.

Overall we would recommend the hotel. It’s in a great location, the hotel is very clean and spacious and the theme parks great fun.

Plenty to do close by with Movieland, caneva water park and of course the lake.

A good 4 star facility with plenty of fun for all the family

At the bar stuff was not really friendly. At check in I let them know I had a small dog and I paid in advance the hotel room but at check out they told me I didn’t pay for my dog so I owe with 50!! euro for one night for a 1 kg dog. It’s incredible ridiculous! Breakfast was poor and at pool they are rude and if you don’t bring a headcap for the open pool they make you to buy me for 6 euro /person. The feeling at this hotel is that they go only for the money but in exchange no kindness at all not even if you tip…

Tips on rooms and breakfast

Tips & Review:
Very clean, although the eldest of three (Adventure and Magic).
Theme rooms (Peppa pig and Princess Castle) are very nice and have 2 queen beds, which is good if you stay with kids in one room. Normal rooms usually have a king bed. Though theme rooms are only a little bigger than normal rooms. Magic and Adventure hotels have much bigger rooms.

Breakfast is very basic, with long queues. I would skip next time.

The resort was quite a way from the town, with no shops or public transport nearby. So if you didn't want the food or drink they offered it was a taxi ride into town.
Also they closed the swimming pools the day after we arrived, but didn't tell us at check in.

Pleasing: Very polite and friendly staff in the gourmet dining room and there was a wide variety of well-cooked and healthy food options for the guests in main restaurant as well. My child has allergies and ate heartily every day there. Great to have dedicated shuttles to the parks
A few amusement options for kids onsite.
Disappointing: The slowest check in and out service we have ever experienced in all my years of travel worldwide. We could have travelled back to London and returned and still have been in the same queue position. Pool closed - no warning about this. Ventilation in bedroom terrible and we slept very badly. Asked for a second pillow and was told by cleaning staff that I would have to pay to get one, despite being told otherwise by reception. Had to ask repeatedly for it until one was finally brought up.

Don't buy Tickets at The Hotel !!!!!

We bought at the hotel the Gardaland Park and SEA LIFE Aquarium combined tickets. and pay extra 90 euros to Gardaland Park express tickets , the DIDN'T tell us that this is a consecutive tickets and valid on A specific day
when we went to gardaland park on another day the tickets where invalid and we needed to add more money to enter , and the express tickets where no good to that day .
at the hotel they said that is my problem and didn't want to return us the money .
SO DON'T BUY FROM THEM , only at the site!!!

The WIFI at the rooms very slow
This hotel is for children under the age of 8 , older children have nothing to do there .

The hotel overall is nice, clean and in a good location to gardaland and 10 mins from the lake and the train, I had a lack of amenities and thought that seating areas might be nice since the third floor which we we are staying didn't had a balcony. Regarding the pool we were dissapointed this is the only hotel that require a pool hat, I don't think there should be such restriction on a vacation and if so supply hats don't force to buy them.

Double check on hotel website regarding services

Our experience was not good. The place is great and food is good but we didn't have a pool so there wasn't really any attraction for the kids. It was pointed out that on their website it indicated that the pool is closed on off season but it wasn't only any site such as Hotels.com. If we would have known we wouldn't have paid so much money for no attraction in the hotel.

Ideal hotel for access to Gardaland

On arrival reception staff were very pleasant and could converse in multiple languages. Checked in quickly and were directed to our room. Access was good with stairs in the main building, a ramp out the front or a lift also in the main building. Our room was in another building on the second floor also with stair and lift access. Room was clean and well presented with a complimentary bottle of water in the room. We asked for extra pillows and they arrived within 20 minutes.

The rooms were fine and it's clean and tidy. Shower was good. TV was very small though.

Hotel information states access is available to the waterpark for £5 but the hotel don't even know what this is? They suggest it might be the Sealife which can be £5 but only if you pay for Gardaland at £31?

Also - breakfast is £15 for adults not £10 as stated. It's a little far from anywhere to walk to get breakfast somewhere else.

Prices for everything very high - £10 for £5 each.

Hotel is very comfortable with a great swimming pool. Food is pretty average, but very friendly staff. Very family orientated. Nice bar but no atmosphere, was empty on the few occasions we went, in fact the hotel in general lacked a bit of atmosphere during our stay. Close to gardaland and not too far to the local towns but a bit too far to walk

Pink ..... very pink!

Beautiful, friendly 4 star hotel, ideal if you want to explore Gardaland, Verona and Lake Garda. Has a very Disney 'Pink Hotel' feel to it and is set in pretty grounds about 5 minute drive/free shuttle bus from the theme park. I'd highly recommend that you hire a car from the airport if you're staying here, as there aren't very many restaurants or any shops within walking distance of the hotel (La Pampa is the only close restaurant - about a 10 minute walk away). The food offerings in the hotel aren't that great - the evening and breakfast 'wonder' buffets and al a Carte dinner dining in Matka are best avoided, as they're expensive and not that great quality. A good bottle of wine will set you back €100 in Matka! However, the premium Al a Carte breakfast (€18 pp payable at the hotel) in Matka is fantastic value and I'd highly recommend it over the standard €10 op breakfast buffet. Also the food in Gardaland is excellent with great choice and lots of healthy options too, so no need to eat at the hotel really. The pool area is gorgeous with free sunbeds and you can hire towels for €1 plus a refundable €5 deposit at the pool bar. Note that swimming hats are compulsory for all swimmers, but can be bought there.
Overall a fabulous top quality hotel that I'd defo return to as a base for Lake Garda and Gardaland, but I'd defo dine in the evenings elsewhere.

Great hotel for families

We have just returned from 8 days staying at this hotel with our 2 year old and 10 year old. I would highly recommend it for kids, it is similar for me to staying at Alton towers in the Uk, so if you and your family like that sort of holiday then this would be for you.

The food is all ok, nothing very fancy and probably a bit pricey for what it is but had the usual chips and fish fingers for kids. The staff were all great, very polite and helpful and the children's entertainers were really good in the evening.

The setting itself is nice though you would need a car if you want to get about in the area really.

We decided rather than pay for the pricey breakfast just to get cereal and milk at the supermarket that's 5 mins away and have that in the morning. There's a fridge in the room but no kettle etc but you can plug in a travel one if you want to.

Room was lovely, clean and a good size (family quadruple) no problems there at all, very impressed.

The pool area was also good with a little pool for the toddlers that our 2 year old loved.

Overall a very happy and welcoming atmosphere. Would recommend definitely.

We also really enjoyed Gardaland itself and the aquarium nearby

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean but there was no seating area or chairs on the balcony. The most disappointing thing was the pool was closed which was totally unexpected. When I booked the gardaland website stated the blue lagoon was available from May. When we arrived we were initially told the pool was closed but would be open on 18th May. Then we were informed the pool would not be open until 20th May. I requested to speak to the manager but the manager sent us a printed page from the Internet which did not state a date but the receptionist told us it was on the hotel website. When I checked the website was down but I was later able to see the entry that the pool would be open on 20th. This was certainly not clear when I made the booking. I was very surprised the manager did not speak to us and am happy to say this abysmal customer service is not reflected by the rest of the staff.

Very handy for Gardaland Park

We stayed for 2 nights as a treat for my son before moving on to a campsite. We had a classic ground floor room which was clean and comfortable although quite small. Would have preferred a higher floor room with a balcony for a better view. Breakfast was quite chaotic on first morning but by the second morning we had got the hang of it. Used the free shuttle bus. It is only a few minutes drive but if taking your own car you could sit for ages trying to get in and out of the park. There is entertainment for kids in the evening but all in Italian, unless this changes in high season

a scam about facilities

altough it wasnt written they charged 15 euro for a baby crib each night, so take this amount in the total.
also, the pool was closed and the aircondition systems only works when they decide its ok.
in the bathroom instead of soap and shampo they put water with color.

Good hotel for Gardaland

We enjoyed our stay. Check in was efficient. There is a free shuttle bus to the theme park itself. The hotel was busy, but restaurant staff worked hard to get tables cleared and people seated quickly. Breakfast was a bit manic with lots of adults and children milling around, but was fine with a good choice. By its nature this hotel caters for lots of children and does it well- if you go there you have to accept this yourself!

Gardaland theme park was a fun day out - not the same character recognition as Disney but great rides and minimal queues. I'd steer clear of the sea life centre as it is fairly small. All in all an excellent family break.

Nice hotel close to Park but well overvalued.

Hotel is close to Park and that is the only one advantage. It despertly needs renovation. General good looking impression in start was depressed by fact that they force you to buy swiming cap for pool as required, then rent fee for towel plus deposit. Deposit is refundable but not rent fee and cap cost.
Breakfast is very poor for price and selection is minimal.
Dinner is extremely expensive, offer is good but only one person serve around swedish table and all plates are emptied foo fast but that person simple have no time to refill quickly and in fact if you didn't come on dinner start time you may find many empty plates and wait for 15 min. till refilled.
They have show for children after dinner, but perform it on the dirty floor (!) near the restaurant entrance and hotel in the same has 4 unused conference rooms!
Reception staff is kind but slow and servants of the rooms are all immigrants who makes you to feel unsafe.
In general - overvalued hotel and we won't recommend to anyone. Many better places around to stay and eat.

excellent hotel with plenty of free parking. A free shuttle service to the theme park. This was a great one night stay. Internet worked well and also room had a bath which was good as a lot of hotels we have found only have showers. If visiting theme park I would stay here again.

Good hotel if you want to go to Gardaland. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and evening buffet are good. Shuttle bus to theme park takes 5 minutes, but only goes every 30 minutes. Standing room only at opening times, but fine at other times of day. Why 4 stars and not 5? Rack rate is way overpriced, as is a la carte restaurant. Rooms are very good, but not luxury. Fine if you can get an acceptable room rate.

The Gardaland Resort Hotel, it just wants your mon

Great start that went quickly downhill the following morning.
The room was clean and comfortable but basic. An empty fridge was useful however the lack of a kettle for boiling water for baby milk was not (there are no tea or coffee items provided).
When we went for breakfast on the first morning I was glad I asked how much it was and the fact the waiter corrected me when I replied that €30 for the four of us seemed steep (that was just for me he said, +€30 for my wife + €14 for my 4 year old son) =€74 for breakfast!!! How's about NO THANK YOU! (Not for the 7 days either, just the one!)
Good points are the pool and staff, the pool was not too packed when we were there.
Food at the pool bar/snack shop was overpriced again but not as badly as either of the two main restaurants. Needless to say we only ate at the pool once (not worth the money) and never in the hotel.
The kiddies party held every evening by the hotel was good though however again, if you wanted your kids name read our at the end to receive some small gifts and a picture, that'll cost you €20min.
All in the hotel and grounds are excellent however it has placed itself in neverneverland with its food prices. Even if its foodprices had been half the price they were they would still have been expensive.
I would not stay at this hotel again due to its location and costs once there. A captive audience is all it has!

The hotel could make some improvements: don't charge for the towels at the swimming pool. Lower prices of the restaurant. Have the shuttle bus drop the people in front of the hotel rather than the entrance of the resort.

Already planning on coming back!

Went with another family with small children. We requested to be near each other when booking, but were on opposite sides of the resort. Our rooms were very spacious and I loved that it had a bathtub, which is not the norm in Italy. The hotel was a 2 minute drive from Gardaland and the Aquarium and offered a free shuttle. The shuttle however was very crowded so we opted to drive and pay for parking instead of waiting for the next shuttle. Breakfast was pricey, and only so-so. All in all my kids had a great time, and we are already planning another trip back for this fall!

We were with small children and in gardaland hotel they have great evening show for children who love gardaland park maskots, with lot's of dancing, probably not suitable for bigger children > then 12 years old. Excellent free shuttle to the park. The pool needs renovation but still ok.

An expensive choice, chose for the swimming pool - the pool is ice cold - unbelievable for August!! It was actually impossible to go in, so disappointing for the children. Room was nice (but smokey when we arrived) but sofa bed for children very small. Helpful staff and beautiful area if you have a car.

We had a fantastic time in gardaland and we r very happy we stayed at gardeland hotel. We used our car to get to the park and we didnt have to pay the car park. The room was big enough fir a family of 4. The grounds were clean and looked after. The swimming pool was fantastic, but they were closing it 15 minutes before the closure time. The girl at the bar near the pool was very helpful and nice! We found the dinner buffet at the hotel expensive compared to the restaurant in the park. But food was very goid and had a fantastic choice, house wine very bad! A disappointment thinking we were in the country of good wine.
Breakfast was amazing, never seeing a variety of food like this and we travel a lot.
They had children entertainment at night, but we were too tired for it....we only managed the first night.

Beautiful but pricey

The hotel is lovely, the grounds fantastic, the pool really nice the rooms are nice but come up a little short compared to the rest of the hotel and the price . The hotel is located a little out of the way it's not that it's far from places there's just just no access by foot anywhere so it's a hire car or taxi's everywhere . The food in the the hotel is a real let down bar food or pool side is frozen pizza, frozen chips etc and over priced as is the drinks , we didn't eat in the restaurant as we'd already heard it wasn't great and we weren't prepared to chance the high prices only to be disappointed especially with so many great and really cheap locall restaurants in all the towns we had breakfast as part of are package and did enjoy that, if I had a complaint it would be that it was the same every morning and more choice in the fruit section ( only watermelon) would have been nice but I did have the breakfast every morn so it can't be that bad . In summary the hotel is beautiful, rooms a bit small but cleaned daily and kept well as with all the hotel , food poor and over priced the location ok if your driving, nearest town about €10 in a taxi , would I stay again maybe

Service leider sehr schlecht. Wunschangaben und Mitteilungen/Fragen auf hotels.com werden nicht gelesen. Den Wünschen an der Reception wird nicht entsprochen, die Mitarbeiterinnen nicht freundlich. Wichtige Informationen zum Freizeitpark werden nicht gegeben. Pool war zu trotz bestem Wetter. Insgesamt enttäuschend und dafür nicht günstig.

Waren 2 Tage im Hotel mit einem Kleinkind.Das Hotel ist super gelegen,Parkplatz vor der Tür gehabt.Wlan hat gut funktioniert.Das Personal war auch sehr nett.Die Zimmer waren sehr schön gross.Sauberkeit war auch gut,mann könnte sich ein bisschen noch verbessern aber im ganzen war es sauber gepflegt.Für Kinder waren sehr viele Spielsachen dabei im Park und drinnen.Gardaland sehr schnell erreichbar gewesen.Einziger Minuspunkt:Cashless,nur Kartenzahlung.Fand es leider sehr Schade wenn man eher grosse Noten dabei hat.Essen im Hotel war eher teuer.Im ganzen hatten wir aber einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden auf jedenfall wiederkommen.

La struttura sebbene un po’ datata si presenta bene e curata. Posizione perfetta x uno stop&go con ingresso gardaland. Parcheggio ottimo con possibilità di ricaricare le auto elettriche. Ristorante tutankamon ottimo con piatti molto buoni. Da migliorare forse l’aspetto legato all’accoglienza, sia al check in che al check out è mancato del patos. Non è sufficiente saper conoscere solo le procedure, perché di qui a breve saranno sostituite da macchine…mentre il sorriso sincero no. Ad ogni modo esperienza positiva.

Ich habe das Garland Hotel 09/2025 besucht. Es ist unmittelbarer Nähe des Garlandes. Das Personal ist Freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Zimmer schön und sauber.

Auf Grund des Zielpublikums (Familien), ist es teils laut, da so mancher Racker sicher leider nicht zu benehmen weiss und auch zu nächtlichen Zeiten gerne mal durch den Gang krakelt. Aber das weiss man ja schon vorher.

War auch schon mein zweiter Aufenthalt, kann also sein das wir wieder mal kommen.

Sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, Zimmer sehr hellhörig, für den Preis gibt es bessere. Gut war die Nähe zum Gardaland mit Shuttle, Gardasee und Reparatur-Service im Zimmer bei defekter WC-Spülung.

Ótimo para quem vai desfrutar do Gardaland Park

Este hotel faz parte do complexo de hotéis próximos ao Gardaland Park. Acomodações excelentes, estacionamento amplo (free). Transporte de ônibus (30 em 30 min) até às 23 h, também gratuito para os parques. Eh hotel para ficar e aproveitar os parques, estilo hotéis Disney. Nossa opção foi sem breakfast (há frigobar nos quartos que permite pequenas refeições). Os quartos são decorados com temas dos personagens (bom para a criançada). Boas piscinas, compartilhada com os demais hotéis do complexo (exige o aluguel de touca)

Ótimo hotel, equipe muito boa, simpática e prestativa. Foi ótimo poder usar 2 quartos conjugados. Camas confortáveis, café da manhã bem diverso. Apenas uma crítica: a piscina abre tarde e fecha cedo, às 19h no verão, isso com um calor absurdo e sol até quase 21h, ela poderia ficar aberta até as 20h30 no verão. Peguei esse hotel pensando em aproveitar a piscina no final do dia e isso não foi possível.
Outro ponto que chamou a atenção foi a equipe de recreação: super sem graça, poderiam investir em recreadores mais animados e dispostos.
