The room was clean and very well keep. The staff were all very kind and always willing to facilitate you even with a language barrier. The breakfast has a great selection of Brazilian dishes. My only set back was the bar didn’t have much local beers I expected to find but the cocktails were great

loved my room, no view unfortunately, unfortunately waiting time to check in was unacceptable, people were angry and looked like check in process is way to slow. Besides unhappy check-in time, hotel was nice, rooftop restaurant seems overly expensive, so our group went yo food options in city.
Breakfast was great, good selection of food.

The unrenovated rooms are on the bottom floors. They are not sound proof. You can hear everything from neighboring rooms as well as the music blasting from the beach bars all night long. The rooftop is nice, but there’s mold in the pool. Can only recommend the breakfast.

Everything is neat and clean but missing a little softness. A little to minalmistc for my taste. No face wash cloths, a couple of chairs on our balcony with a table would be nice. Furniture is scarce in the room. Otherwise everything else was good.

I got a great room with sea view. Room and bathroom are big. The view was breathtaking. And balcony with veranda was large. Breakfast is great and included. Rio vermilo is close by with bars and clubs close by. Casa Teresa is a restaurant close by to eat Bahian food. Everything is walkable. Go see lighthouse. Rooms can be upgraded with new fixtures and furniture. Overall very good hotel. Gym needs improvement.

Very expensive and not as advertised

Must have been a nice hotel in the past. Outdated rooms, mouldy bed linen, at very high prices. One sugar satchel and one coffee cup in a room for a couple. Housekeeping come into your room when you're out, even when you put up the 'do not disturb' sign. A lot of the staff were very friendly and helpful but management need to address these errors.

I love the hotel was in a great location near to bars, restaurant, with security and walking distance if you wanted to walk. I did not like the cleanliness of the room. Found someone’s hair in the toilet, bath floor was dirty and looked stained. In addition we found our toilet was leaking all over the bathroom door. Bed linens felt cheap and very thin, fitted sheets kept falling off the corners every time I rolled over and found myself freezing because there were only one sheet to sleep with no blanket or comforter. For the price and how nice the hotel looked I expected a little more.

Housekeeping, skipped my Room 2 days in a row. Which was kind of a hassle?
Put over all the hotels, okay? Okay, the gym, it's kinda terrible.
And the room service wasn't that great. It is supposed to be 24 hours. So when I voted food at one a m I got no reply for a good hour, and I know they weren't busy
Overall the stuff was very polite

Great pool and breakfast. The party at the ocean view does go late (3pm) but we slept through it. Location was fun. Paid parking at about $5 a day valet. Vent in bathroom smelled of sewer which was gross. Maybe the trap dried out again and again. Overall great though.

In the first day we arrived we went to the swimming pool and there was no towels
Available. Someone from the staff said they were bringing but we waited for almost 1 h and they didn’t bring! We had to go all soak to the room! We complained to the receptionist who didn’t do anything! We had ordered drinks that we had to leave behind.

The hotel is located in a good area. There are lots of restaurants and bars walking distance. In addition, the hotel has a great rooftop with a beautiful view to the ocean and you can watch the sunset.
Luiza from the reception desk has provided great recommendation. Breakfast is great, but I would recommend to be more attentive with the room since it was cleaned around 5 pm and the toilet paper wasn't enough for one night.

I enjoyed myself at Novotel in Salvador where I stayed for 1 week. Great location with plenty of restaurants and music and great buffet and very kind staff who went out of their way to accommodate me. There is a shuttle car that takes guests up the hill where the hotel is located. Great rooftop bar and pool with beautiful sunset views. They are busy painting some floors of the hotel but very accommodating if you are uncomfortable. I can’t wait to return!

The staff were fantastic 10/10. The location was fun, with things happening all around. Such a fantastic vibe. The breakfast was ok, with a lot of options; however, any other meals were mediocre, taking a long time to be served even when no other guests were in the restaurant. The gym was very small and the equipment in poor condition and the pool was often dirty with algae and things floating in it. The view, however, made everything better!

The view is gorgeous. The service staff was accommodating. However, the initial room we were put in had puddles of water under and beside the bed. Apparently, a technician had been there earlier to fix the air conditioner and that was the cause of the water puddles. Still, once we turned on the a/c, the water began to pour out like it was from a faucet. Also, upon using the bathroom sink, we found that it was clogged.

The room that we were moved to was smaller, but in better condition. By the time we were able to get this new room, we were too exhausted to enjoy. The next day , we were inconvenienced by being locked out of the room for half an hour because the key cards wouldn’t work . So, my fiancé needed, once again, needed to go to the front desk to fix the key card. Upon entering the room, my fiancé couldn’t retrieve her items from the safe because it wouldn’t unlock . She had to wait quite a while before maintenance brought a physical key.

This was my first time staying at a Novotel property and it has left a bad impression in my mind. However, the service staff in cleaning and room service were excellent. The security guard was awesome as well.

You can tell the hotel was rebranded or renovated. Some parts are very old and tacky looking, like the area inbetween the your hotel room and the elevator. But the room and the reception area is nice and modern looking. The elevators are small for a big hotel. The pool is small not that modern, the terrace is old and gym pitifully small. The view from my seaside view is good, but right below is not that great. The breakfast is good and varied. Did not order dinner or lunch, as there are better restaurantes to try in Salvador. Would be better if got a stay at a resort or something. Only good parts the location, hotel room, and reception area/breakfast.

Don’t stay here - extremely loud music outside

The place was ok but the noise from the bars outside was extremely loud until 3 am. This wasn’t a little noise but I could hear every word of the sounds like it was right outside. I expect a 4 start hotel to at least sound proof rooms or at the very least give ear plugs. I could not sleep at all and it these bars are like that every night. There is no reason to pay to stay here with noise like that. Don’t go here.

Nice hotel, but located on a hill. Rooms are comfortable, internet very slow and there were few times power outages and water issues. Breakfast was not included and parking is extra too. Overall good place but many extras. Expensive.

Excelente estadia em Salvador. Equipe de funcionários bastante atenciosa. Principalmente, a equipe da recepção e do bar.
Café da manhã todos os dias tinha alguma mudança (calabresa, carne de sol, torta salgada e etc…) sem falar que tinha ampla variedade de opções de bebidas.
Recebemos um upgrade e o quarto era bastante espaçoso e a refrigeração pelo A/C funcionava perfeitamente nos dias mais quentes.
O banheiro também era espaçoso e a alternância do quente/frio funcionava imediatamente após troca de função (evitando o desperdício de água)

O terror já começou no check in, serviço lento, fiquei 01 hora e 14 minutos numa fila para conseguir ser atendido na recepção. O quarto era ok, bem limpo mas antigo, zero atualizado, banheiro antigo. O checkout, mais fila, não tanto quanto a do check in mas nunca vi essa demora na vida, em nenhum lugar do mundo

Segunda vez que me hospedo e saio bem satisfeito. De início já quero destacar o atendimento do Yuri, que nos recebeu extremamente bem e fez de tudo para que nos sentíssemos confortáveis. Ele fez a diferença na estadia. O quarto estava limpo e completo, com 2 capsulas nespresso de cortesia. Pra quem gosta, sugiro levar suas cápsulas. O ar condicionado ficou vazando na primeira noite e me trocaram de quarto em seguida, com upgrade como recompensa. Estacionamento é cobrada uma taxa de 30/dia com manobrista. Café da manhã completo e com variedade. Não dei 5 estrelas no atendimento pq fiz um pedido de almoço e entrada na piscina que demorou muito, quase 1h, mas estava delicioso. À noite usei o restaurante e os pratos sairam num prazo bom e gostosos. Esquecemos uns trajes no primeiro quarto e eles embalaram e guardaram até que cobrássemos. Foi bom, mas creio que poderia ter sido avisado do esquecimento logo em seguida, tendo em vista que só me lembrei 2 dias depois da mudança. Rooftop bom, com toalhas disponíveis. Não me foi cobrada taxa de rolha, devido eu ter consumido refeição no restaurante.

O hotel fica num alto com uma vista fantástica da cidade, a piscina no roof top é o diferencial.
Quarto amplo, bom chuveiro e o café da manhã é bem servido.
Tem estacionamento com manobrista e eles te levam e te buscam no pé do morro, indico o acarajé da Cira que fica numa pracinha logo embaixo.
