Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre. Overall very happy with our stay.

Upon arrival my disappointment began. Every amenity and request for service was a struggle to achieve and a struggle to receive.
Our room had major flaws of arrangement for example the toilet had mere inches between the knees upon sitting and the counter. I had to sit sideways on it to use it. Also the shower floor in an effort to look “cool” was terribly uncomfortable to stand on. We requested pool towels mid day and were told sorry we are out try tomorrow. The list goes on and on.
The kitchen is open only for a short time and there is no food available in between. If guests don’t make a dinner reservation at the only dinner place you may not get fed until morning. It’s against the rules for the bar to sell a bottle of water unless the kitchen is open even though they sell alcohol the whole time.

Great property for families! Staff and hotel is very accommodating. Baby bathtubs, bibs, cutlery, cups, etc. could you more seating around the pool as it was often slim pickings. Grounds were beautiful, very well maintained, and the sunsets, unreal!

A very enjoyable stay in a beautiful environment. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel could benefit from more stock including small food provisions in the boutique. The room would benefit from a kettle and more effective air conditioning.

Property and service is wonderful. Little bit outside of town. Property has lots of amenities and activities like free kids club, restaurants etc that makes the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. Gunrud at the reception desk and Valeria at the boat rental desk was very helpful. Nothing much to do around the property itself. City of Tropea is a 10/15min drive. Lots of activity and dining options there.

Beautiful gardens and beach. Plenty of free parking. The road down to the resort is not as steep and winding as for other places making for easier access. Lots of families with kids, kids club, playground. The rooms are clean and have the basics, but the standard room is very small so, if you can afford it, it would be worth to upgrade. The dinner options were too fancy for our tastes, but there are many restaurants nearby with the closest being about 3 minutes by car. We would love to return soon.

The property itself is gorgeous. The only downsides are 1. food on resort is a bit of a miss (not enough simple, local dishes in favor of fancy over-the-top dishes ) although breakfast was lovely and 2 you have to have a car to get to Tropea as the resort is isolated and there is not much to do in terms of activities or entertainment. If the weather is nice, you are in for a treat because their beach staff is impeccable and their grounds are breathtaking.

Secret Place in Calabria, not to be missed !

Fabulous stay, as last years (we are return guests, as is most of the hotels guests). Perfect service, outstanding food, gorgeous property, nice sandy beach (however with rocks in the water, perfection doesnt exist), the water in the sea is surreal clean, perfect family holidays spot ! But quality and exclusivity comes with a price ! This is not a bargain price hotel !!! We will save money and come back next year for sure. What a delightful small property !

Good value and generaly positive stay

A very interesting resort. The accommodation itself is very good and the grounds are neat and well maintained. Service is conscientious but a bit of a mixed bag because a lot of the staff do not speak good English. The resort does seem to be popular with German and local guests - the main languages spoken by staff seem to be Italian and German. For those who take a meal package, there is a very good selection for breakfast and dinner, and the quality is generally high, although it takes a while to understand the dinner offering; some nights are full buffet whereas other nights are buffet for appetisers but a la carte for main. Wine choice is relatively limited and the cocktail bar staff's repertoire (even for menu items) is limited. But overall a lovely spot on a glorious beach and a generally positive and good value experience for a beach break with young kids.

The Baia del Sole wasn't open in time for our stay, but they kindly set us up at a beautiful hotel the Capivaticano Thelessa Spa which was stunning and had an amazing breakfast. Very helpful and hard working staff. Thank you for such a great stay!!

The resort was spotless, the landscaping perfect, incredibly zen. Only complaint is need water shoes as there are rocks in the water. Breakfast was included and the food was amazing.
We were not as impressed with the buffet supper meals that were offered.
We also enjoyed visiting Tropea.

Good resort

Good size resort with lots of facilities, beautiful manicured gardens, private beach and nice pool area. Newly renovated rooms, very clean, good buffet breakfast. Well located to visit the Capo Vaticano area & beaches and 15 min by car from Tropea. Best suited for families as there are many children, but it is also fine for couples.

Beautiful grounds - great location on the sea.

Hotel catering to mass tourists. Seating is assigned, no choice. Stampede at 7pm sharp to buffet at dinner. Hot dishes always arrived lukewarm.
No room service. No toileteries in bathroom. 12\" TV in room - no English language channels.
TOURING BUS CROWD GOT PREFERENCE.

Wonderful memories

We were so pleased with this hotel, first: we had our own single standing room and it was very comfortable and cozy.
Second: the food was fantastic the buffet night was excellent (mostly the choices of fish and salads)
The staff was very friendly and attentive, most of them spoke English, German and although I speak fluent Italian they tried their English on me.
We will be back

very nice place to stay and enjoy the beach and the sea but not very accessible to Capo Vaticano and needed to pay a asurcharge of 12 euros to go to Tropea and to go to the Eolie isles

For a four star hotel this was far from it. The room was small dark and not very up market although the outside areas were great and the staff very good. The food was very good and the waiters tried very hard. A little italian language goes a long way

Excelente hotel! Localizado em uma bela praia, com estrutura de praia completa para os hóspedes, localiza-se a meio caminho entre Capo Vaticano e Tropea. Tem estacionamento gratuito. Quartos amplos e limpos. Café da manhã e jantar incluídos, sendo o jantar excelente. Recomendo fortemente.

Ankunft war nett. Leider gibt es keine Infos zu den Restaurant. Wann hat welches geöffnet. Wann gibt es Frühstück. Für Mittag soll man reservieren. Macht aber keiner.

Sauberkeit war in Ordnung. Pool und Strand sind super.

Personal eher weniger hilfsbereit. Könnte besser sein. Snack Karte und Kindersitze musst Elan extra darauf hinweisen das man sie ausgehändigt bekommt.

Ansonsten schönes Hotel.

Una bella esperienza da migliorare

La posizione e la struttura, sia dal punto di vista logistico che organizzativo e di controllo, sono ottime.
Non abbiamo trovato invece il medesimo ottimo servizio nelle parte di ristorazione : molto cara rispetto alla qualità offerta e con una scadente organizzazione specialmente nelle serate \"barbeque\" per una scelta limitata (serata pesce oppure serata carne) e molte volte con i contenitori ove servirsi che non erano mantenuti caldi.
Esempio : su tre tipi di primo (paccheri - maccheroni - riso) solo i maccheroni serviti erano caldi.
Analoga situazione con le diverse carni
Ci siamo presentati alle 20,30, come prenotato, con il servizio che avrebbe dovuto essere pienamente attivo fino alle 21,30.
Alle 21,30 in punto tutto era già praticamente spento e smantellato, nonostante la presenza ai tavoli ancora di molti Clienti che potevano recuperare solamente quanto rimasto al self service del dessert.
Complimenti per il fatto di aver realizzato in Calabria una struttura che molto assomiglia ai Resort europei organizzati nei vari \"mari ed isole\" dei paradisi turistici del mondo ma, molto da imparare ancora al confronto.

Piacevole soggiorno

Il villaggio si presenta con molto verde e ben curato. Non è un molto grande ma ha le dimensioni giuste per trascorrere un piacevole soggiorno. Il mare è facilmente raggiungibile e il lido dell'albergo è ben organizzato rispettando le distanze imposte dal Covid. I bagnini molto cordiali e sempre presenti. Tutto il personale, e soprattutto la sig.ra Carmela, si è dimostrato eccezionale, disponibile e soprattutto molto professionale. Abbiamo optato per la mezza pensione ed è stata una ottima scelta. Si mangia molto bene. Ottima la colazione anche se limitata a causa delle norme Covid. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Wenn das Wetter schön ist und man in einer ruhige Oase sein will (um die Anlage ist nicht viel, ohne Auto ist man aufgeschmissen), dann ist das sicher eine gute Wahl. Bei Wind und Regen ist man aber aufgeschmissen: Es gibt kein geschlossenes Restaurant, in das man sich zurückziehen könnte. Da die Anlage neben einer Flussmündung liegt, war das Meer zwei Tage nach einem heftigen Regen braun (galt nicht für die gesamte Küste, schon in der nächsten Bucht war es blau, bloss kommt man nicht so leicht zur nächsten Bucht).

Kostenpflichtige Getränke von anderen Gästen auf unserer Rechnung, Personal zunächst sehr uneinsichtig.
Wir waren zum Zeitpunkt des Verzehrs nicht mal im Hotel.
Dame an der Rezeption sah auch nicht ein, dass die Unterschrift komplett anders auf der Quittung war.
Keine Entschuldigung dafür.

Villaggio di medie dimensioni, quelle giuste, e che si affaccia direttamente
sul mare. Pulito, ordinato ben curato e con molto verde con personale sempre gentile.
Le camere sono esattamente come nelle foto di presentazionee
e comunque da poco rinnovate come i bagni. Da segnalare l'aria
condizionata un po'rumorosa nell'utilizzo notturno ma comunque niente di particolarmente fastidioso.
Ci siamo trovati molto bene, pur soggiornando in agosto gli spazi nei momenti comuni
erano comunque sempre ampi e vivibili, da segnalare la colazione che si svolge a due metri
dalla spiaggia e vista mare. La colazione è di qualità e le cene dove non
mancano mai i prodotti locali sono da ristorante stellato.
Nella spiaggia privata, composta da ciotoli e da sabbia, ti viene assegnato un
ombrellone per tutta la durata del soggiorno. Da segnalare i tramonti quando
il sole precipita in mare con lo Stromboli sullo sfondo, da cartolina.
Alcuni difetti: fuori dal villaggio non c'e'in pratica nulla e se non hai l'auto (a noleggio)
troverai poche alternative; l'animazione è assente per i piu adulti ed il giudizio per gli spettacoli non può che essere (molto) negativo.

Esperienza da non ripetere!!!

Luogo dalla vegetazione splendida ma dall’accoglienza piuttosto grossolana e frequentato da troppe famiglie maleducate con bambini molesti e mamme disturbatrici. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è assolutamente inadeguato. Camera senza ricambio d’aria e con acqua che sgocciola dal soffitto nel bagno. I servizi troppo approssimativi e poca cura degli ospiti...sembra un collegio/casa di cura piuttosto che un resort...

semplicemente perfetto!

un resort davvero perfetto, anche per famiglie con bambini piccoli. La pulizia delle camere e delle aree esterne è maniacale, ci sono persone a pulire dalle 6 e 30 di mattina fino a sera. Le camere sono state tutte rinnovate e sono molto comode, insonorizzate e molto ben climatizzate. La ristorazione è a livelli di eccellenza: il buffet mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta. L'animazione per bambini è molto attiva e molto ben organizzata, ma non disturba affatto chi non vuole partecipare. il servizio spiaggia è cortese e sempre disponibile (portare le scarpette da mare perchè dal bagnasciuga in poi si sono solo sassi). La cortesia dello staff è ai massimi livelli.
Non saprei nemmeno che suggerimento dare perchè ho trovato tutto davvero ottimo. Ci tornerò sicuramente.

la Struttura è immersa in un parco a dir poco meraviglioso. Ottimo il cibo sia al buffet che alla carta. Unica nota un po' negativa è l'accesso al mare per la presenza di sassi: si rimedia però con semplici scarpe da scoglio. Quindi direi che è tutto perfetto.

Nous avions une chambre au rez-de-chaussée de chaussée qui puait le moisi, pas de WIFI et téléphone hors service ( j’avais besoin de téléphoner à la chambre de mon fils régulièrement); la chef de la réception nous a demandé d’attendre les départs de samedi pour changer; le samedi venu ( sous sommes restés 10 jours), elle nous a clairement dit qu’elle nous donnerai une autre chambre que du les arrivées de samedi n’en voulaient pas des chambres du premier étage, point barre; j’ai exprimé mon mécontentement sans résultat; ce n’edt Que 3 jours avant le départ, q’une réceptionniste (ANNETTE) et devant mon insistance su’elle Nous a donné une autre chambre; je pense que les clients des agences Allemanded ont la PRIORITÉ, c’est lamentable.
