Kurztrip - super Lage.
Wir haben das Hotel für einen Kurztrip an die Ostsee gebucht. Insgesamt ist es ein klasse Hotel. Ziemlich in der Mitte der Strandpromenade gelegen erreicht man Kühlungsborn Ost und West in jeweils zehn Minuten bequem zu Fuß. Das Zimmer hatte den gebuchten Meerblick, war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Zuvorkommendes Personal.

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel und waren sehr zufrieden. Schönes Zimmer, sehr gutes Frühstück, sehr freundliches Personal. In der Bar waren wir allerdings nicht. Die ist etwas ungemütlich so in der Lounge,wo sich alles abspielt. Bis auf die nervenden Tauben auf dem Balkon 😅 war alles bestens.

Hervorzuheben sind in jedem Fall die Lage des Hotels, die ausnahmslose Freundlichkeit des Personals- MitarbeiterInnen der Rezeption und des Restaurants, Reinigungskräfte- und der viele Stauraum für die privaten Sachen. Letzteres haben wir so zuvor noch nicht erlebt. Toll!

Fazit: Es lohnt sich einfach! Wir hatten ein Deluxe Zimmer mit Meerblick und Balkon (ich bin mir nicht sicher, aber es scheint jedes Zimmer einen zu haben) und es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Der Spa Bereich mit seiner Saunalandschaft war für uns wundervoll! Das Frühstück ist mega vielseitig und geht bis 13 Uhr, richtig gelesen, bis 13 Uhr! Krass ne ;-) Wir kommen im nächsten Jahr wieder! Vielen Dank!

Wunderbares Urlaubs und Bussinesshotel
Für einen Urlaub und für einen Geschäftsaufenthalt sehr gut geeignet. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. Stock mit kleinem Balkon und Meerblick. Das Zimmer war komfortabel, sauber und gut eingerichtet nur dem Teppichboden hat man irgendwie schon das Alter angesehen. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade, 50m bis zum Stand, ein wunderbarer SPA Bereich mit Terrasse und mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und kann auch auf einer Außenterrasse eingenommen werden. Nur bei der Planung des Abends muss man berücksichtigen, dass alle Lokale in der Umgebung im Juli schon gegen 21.30 schließen. Was dem Hotel selber nicht schadet, da die Hotelbar sehr gut bestückt ist. Eine \"Snack-Küche\", wie in internationalen 4 Sterne Hotels üblich, wäre hier aber echt ein Gewinn!

Fäkaliengeruch im Bad & falsch hohe Abrechnungen
Von diesem Hotel hatten wir uns wesentlich mehr erhofft. Bei 260 Schweizer Franken pro Nacht und angeblichen 4 Sterne superior war das auch angezeigt. Die Zimmer sehen äusserlich zwar nicht schlecht aus. Von Beginn an fiel jedoch ein penetranter Fäkaliengeruch im Bad auf, auf den wir das Personal sogleich aufmerksam gemacht hatten. Das Personal schien das Problem bereits gut zu kennen. Am Abend kam jemand vorbei, der in der Dusche an einem Abflussstopfen schraubte. Leider kam das Problem am nächsten Tag wieder, und der Stopfen wurde in der Folge ausgetauscht. Dabei verhielt sich das Hotelpersonal so, wie wenn der widerliche Kloakengeruch des Hotels das Problem von uns Gästen sei. Von Entschuldigung oder Kompensation keine Spur. Das Ganze setzte sich leider in der Woche, die wir in diesem Hotel verbracht hatten, fort. Kaputter Fön, dann kaputtes Türschloss und Vorschlag des Personals allen Ernstes, man möge jedesmal, wenn man aufs Zimmer wollte, zur Rezeption kommen, damit jemand von dort einen mit dem Generalschlüssel ins Zimmer lasse - völlige Zumutung und einmal mehr KEINE Entschuldigung, keine Kompensation, nix. Wir dachten, am Ende beim Auschecken käme evtl. jemand auf die Idee, auf die zahlreichen Unannehmlichkeiten angemessen zu reagieren. Stattdessen wollte man uns um satte 60 Euro übers Ohr hauen und stellte eine falsche Endabrechnung aus, auf die man bereits bezahlte Konsumationen ein 2. Mal setzte. Kein Pardon auch hier, wäre ja auch zuviel verlangt...

Ein wunderbarer Geburtstag mit Familie und Freunden im Upstaalsboom, es war sehr schön! Tolles Hotel, trotz der Größe ruhig, schöne Zimmer, sehr zuvorkommendes Personal und feines Essen!

Kurzfristig haben wir und für ein Wochenende in Kühlungsborn entschieden. Ein Hotel mit Wellness zum Entspannen sollte es sein. Wir (3 Erwachsene) haben 2 Deluxe-Doppelzimmer gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden wiederkommen!

Angereist am 23.12. 17 und vorzeitig abgereist weil das Essen wenn man es so sagen kann einem Imbiss am Bahnhof gleich kam . Weihnachtsbuffee und Frühstück nur für Personen gedacht die satt werden wollen . Mit Genuss hatte das rein garnicht zu tun . Empfohlenen würde uns zum heiligen Abend ein Lokal im Ort und da hat uns dann der Schlag getroffen. Das ein Hotel dieser Kategorie einem Gast so etwas zumutet ist der Supergau gewesen . Selbst nachdem wir das empfohlene Lokal verlassen und uns massiv beschwert hatten , so dann auch angekündigt hatten das wir frühzeitig abreisen gab es die volle Hotelrechnung und oben drauf eine Flasche Prosseco als Entschuldigung. So was unprofessionelles ist mir in noch keinem Hotel vorgekommen. Von Sternen kann man in diesem Hotel nicht sprechen . Im Spa war die Dame am Empfang genauso unprofessionell , wir würden nur unfreundlich gefragt was wir wollen . Nichts wurde freundlich erklärt oder gar mal als neuer Gast gezeigt . Ich sage nur rausgeschmissen Geld .

Wir gehen sonst immer mal wieder in die Yachthafenresidenz Hohe Düne und wollten einmal etwas neues ausprobieren. Der Aufenthalt in Kühlungsborn war sehr schön, insbesondere der Ort hat uns gut gefallen. Man kann mehr unternehmen als in Warnemünde, bzw. sind die Wege kürzer (keine Fähre etc.).
Im Hotel hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick. Dies hätte gern einige Quadratmeter größer sein dürfen, war aber für die Dauer ausreichend. Das Zimmer war sauber, leider roch die Toilette nach Urin, was unserer Meinung nach an der Bauweise lag - die Toilette ist im Badezimmer als extra Raum separiert, links und rechts sind die Wände nicht gefliest. Das führt zu Urinspritzern, die in die Wand ziehen. Da hilft dann auch umfangreiches Putzen nicht mehr.Auf unser Bitten hin wurde alles umfangreich erneut gereinigt (war auch vorher sauber, roch eben) - dafür 5 Sterne für den Service.
