Fabulous & relaxing stay for us at Su Giganti

This is a very beautiful small hotel located only minutes from a lovely beach (walk) and multiple eateries (both walk + short drive). The pool and grounds are spotless and full of bird and insect life, including songbirds and butterflies endemic to Sardinia & Corsica.

Overall a good experience. Rooms very clean and neat and cleaned daily. Let down by having no iron and ironing board available in the whole hotel let alone the room. Also the hairdryer provided was not powerful enough.

Quiet surroundings and nice small pool although it was out of action for the first half of our stay.

Enjoyed our stay but hotel was fine, not amazing.

What a little gem of a find. We hired a car from the airport, and drove to the hotel.
Both the hotel and restaurant are brilliant. A short taxi journey into town is a must and it’s extremely peaceful at the hotel. The hotel also has two extremely helpful workers on the front desk. Both were of great help.

The good: the front desk, restaurant and cleaning staff were great, helpful and friendly. Nice grounds, nice pool, patio from the room was nice. The beach area was also very good and not far. The restaurant was excellent. Parking was easy.
The less than good: The room was very dated and not decorated. The bathroom toilet seat broke. The sink was damaged and patched with silicon! The breakfast was not good and when they ran out of food, you were out of luck. The breakfast staff were not friendly. It seemed like they did not want to be there with their attitude.

Fantastic location, lovely pool and gardens, good restaurants and beach service. Receptionists were super attentive and offered lots of recommendations which we appreciated. The only downsides were the breakfast which is included in the price but very very simple and a bit disappointing, and secondly, a 10am checkout. We were offered flexibility with the timing and also given access to a separate shower and bathroom so that we could use the pool for a few hours after checkout which was really kind. Hotel restaurant had a good range of food and lots of tasty options. Would stay again!!

Genuinely cheerful smiling well trained team

Travelling without a car , we could not have found a better location - beside both a stop for bus from Cagliari and the local Beach shuttle into and around Villasimius. Campus beach - with hotels excellent sun beds - is a gem. Breakfast staff calmly efficient and welcoming - just like Reception Team. Pool area maintained to superior level . Restaurant on site is good and pizza top class. Surprisingly little noise from nearby road.

Beautiful setting, private beach is gorgeous with clear sea and the loungers are free and comfortable which is excellent. Short drive to Villasimius itself and there is also a cheap shuttle bus service that stops outside the hotel (about 5-10 minutes in the car/bus). Rooms are fabulous. Wifi is good around the pool and the pool is lovely and refreshing too. Restaurant is great with a huge choice of food and everything I ate there was lovely. Great relaxing atmosphere - highly recommend.

A great base for the area a very friendly hotel

Su Giganti is a friendly, well run hotel near to the sea. Similar to a motel with parking close to the room the hotel is set in lovely, well cared for gardens. The rooms had an ‘eighties feel’ and were fine but not luxurious.
The attached restaurant was excellent and the food delicious. Breakfast was a bit basic and the town a drive away but we really liked the friendly and helpful staff and enjoyed our stay.

Lovely little hotel

This is a sweet little hotel. It is a 3 star place, very simple, but the rooms and clean and nice. Each has a little terrace overlooking the pool. It is very pretty, the pool area is very nice, and the front desk staff are wonderful and helpful. The breakfast is simple, but just fine. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was very good (they should turn the lights down - too bright for a nice dinner).
This hotel is on the road from Caglieri before you get into Villasimius. There is a beach just across the street; you can rent a chair and umbrella from the front desk (no towel).
Also at this beach is a lovely restaurant, Il Miraggio, and we had a wonderful meal there. They even set tables out in the sand in good weather and the setting is just beautiful.
Very happy with this hotel.

Very nice small hotel, close to great beach

Stayed 2 days. Hotel is just a 5 minute walk from beach - we visited several beaches in the area, and this was nicest. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was good. Only downside is that going anywhere else (e.g. into town) requires driving.

Good hotel. Rooms clean and comfortable. Restaurant was good and with hindsight should have booked half board. Nearby restaurants were mainly shut (end of season). A 10 minute drive into town - taxi was €30 return!!

Nice hotel within 10 min walking to the beach.

From the moment we have arrived to the hotel we were made feel welcome comfortable and felt as if we were in our second home. The breakfast buffet bar offers vast variety of food to suit all tastes. The staff is very friendly yet very professional. The room service is excellent. The towels are changed daily. The on site restaurant and pizzeria serve very tasty pizzas and a variety of dishes many based on the local products and local fresh fish. The reception staff is very friendly, helpful and dedicated to assists their guests in all their inquiries ( they speak English). All rooms are overlooking the swimming pool surrounded by the very well tended grass lawn and beautiful local flowers and bushes. All rooms have air conditioning, TV set, the safe and a mini-fridge filled with the refreshments. There is access to WiFi on the site.

Fantastic holiday

This hotel is in a great location although if you can hire a car there are some lovely beaches a short drive away - Port Guincho was our favourite.

All of the staff we met are lovely and a special Thank you to Pietro, Antonio, Alessandra, Simona, Jessica, Valentina, Alessio who are all fabulous so welcoming and very helpful.

Breakfast is continental and served down by the pool and the restaurant is superb having tried a few, we ended up eating here 4 out of 7 nights.

This hotel is perfect for a stop off or indeed to spend several nights there its very comfortable and clean.

A fantastic and relaxing stay

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. We went for 5 days of relaxation and were not disappointed! The swimming pool and garden area were wonderful. The only slight issue was that the road is very close to the garden, but there were not too many cars and so it wasn't an issue for us.The food and drinks at the restaurant and bar were excellent value. We ate simply, but the quality was really good. The staff were friendly and the service was good. Breakfast was fairly simple, but perfectly acceptable. We made good use of the table tennis table near the bar. The rooms were really nice. Fairly simple, but comfortable, modern and clean. We enjoyed the little out door seating area looking onto the pool. There was helpfully a little shop near the hotel and a nice beach very close. We really enjoyed the restaurant on the beach, where you can have dinner on the sand. We didn't have a car on this holiday. This wasn't an issue for us, as we didn't want to go far and the bus service was good. However, if you want to see places you will need a vehicle. I would really recommend a stay in this family run hotel. It was extremely relaxed, quiet and friendly. Just what we needed!

Mycket trevlig personal och bra boende med närhet till en fantastisk strand. Charmig byggnad och rent och städat men minus på utbud av hygienprodukter då det bara fanns en tvåldispenser i duschen. Ok frukostutbud och hyfsat bra lunchrestaurang men har tyvärr bara öppet vissa dagar och finns i princip inga andra lunchrestauranger öppna i närheten mot slutet av säsongen (oktober). Ligger lite avsides mot centrum av Villasimius om man inte har bil. Vi lyckades dock ta oss runt med en sommarbuss som går mellan hotellet och centrum en gång i timmen fram tills kl 20. Går även en direktbuss till Cagliari från busstationen precis utanför hotellet ca 5 gånger om dagen.

Super liebes Personal. Gute Anlage, sehr gepflegt mit schönem Pool und schönen Zimmern. Bar auch sehr gut und mit günstigen Preisen. Einziger Nachteil: Das Frühstück ist sehr spartanisch. Kaffee aus dem Automaten schmeckt nicht so toll. Rührei und Croissants wurden ab 9:15 nicht mehr nachgefüllt obwohl das Frühstück bis 10 ging. Das heißt spätaufsteher gehen echt leer aus. Käse und Wurst nicht appetitlich im Schrank. Alles sehr mager. Wir haben ab dem 3 Tag drauf verzichtet. Der Rest des Hotel alles super.

Hotel piccolo e curato, camere confortevoli e pulite, giardino in perfette condizioni con piscina (non provata);
Posizione comoda per la spiaggia (ca 200/250 metri), attrezzata e riservata.
Una sera provato il ristorante, di buona qualità, con menu vario. Prima colazione un pò monotona, ma comunque sufficiente.
Personale al ricevimento molto cortese ed efficiente.
Il paese non è molto distante, ma è comunque necessaria l’auto. In 15/30 minuti di auto si raggiungono anche altre spiagge molto belle.

Das Hotel ist mit dem Auto vom Flughafen Cagliari innerhalb einer Stunde erreichbar. Wie waren drei Stunden vor der Check-In Zeit dort, konnten aber nach kurzer Wartezeit schon unser Zimmer beziehen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Bad ist gross uns es hat eine Minibar. Der Fernseher im Zimmer ist jedoch sehr klein und die Auswahl an Sendern ist sehr beschränkt. Zudem war das Wlan im Zimmer sehr schwach, so dass man sich immer wieder neu verbinden musste. Die Wiedergabe von Dateien war so ebenfalls erschwert. Das Zimmer wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. 5 Minuten vom Hotel befindet sich ein schöner und grosser Strand, Liegestühle und Sonnenschirme sind für Hotelgäste reserviert und kostenlos. Das Frühstück war ok. Das Restaurant vom Hotel ist ebenfalls zu empfehlen. Das Personal war sehr nett und aufmerksam. Das Hotel liegt in der nähe von Villasimius.

Everything was perfect. Room, stuff, pool. The only thing we didn’t like was breakfast. Only warm dish was scrambled eggs an it was sooo over-salted. We tried twice, but it was the same. The hotel restaurant was another level. Absolutely amazing! We had spaghetti alle vongole and filetto di manzo and it was the best steak we ever had. Literally. We had it twice. Beach is with sunbeds which is perfect, but no bar or restaurant. Beware of parking in Villasimius at friday and saturday night. Hard to find and cars are parking wherever, but next day you’ll meet all the drivers at the postoffice paying penalty. We paid 60€. This is the information should be told at the hotel reception. That would be nice.

Très belle hôtel, chambre Deluxe sympathique. Femme de ménage très bruyantes le matin et forcing pour faire la chambre avant 10h en plein milieu du séjour !!!!! Restaurant très très bon et agréable, pizza extra mais pas disponible le midi ... Petit déjeuner inscinifient, à la hauteur d'un hôtel budget et encore . Hôtel un peu loin de la ville mais a côté de la plage avec transat inclus, vélo électrique indispensable.

Grazioso hotel in posizione ottima.

Tutto quello che serve ad un viaggiatore in cerca di relax, pulizia della struttura, a due passi dalla spiaggia con ombrelloni e lettini compresi nel prezzo del soggiorno. Giardino e piscina a dir poco stupendi. Ristorante annesso di ottima qualità ed altri sempre nelle vicinanze. Colazione più che sufficiente. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Nous sommes resté 1 nuit lors de notre trip moto du 19 mai au 26 2018 . Ce fut une tres agreable étape , avec grand lit au top et salle de bain nickel.Le restaurant sur place offre une carte avec du choix et des pizza topissimes. Le petit dej est copieux et face a la piscine . Comme la periode est hors saison touristique , ce fut une soirée, nuit et ptit dej dans un calme appréciable.

Location ottima, vicinissima alla spiaggia di Campus che si raggiunge i 5 minuti a piedi.
Stanze belle e tutto il complesso pulitissimo. Personale molto cortese. La colazione buona ma poco varia, qualche dolce appena sfornato avrebbe fatto la differenza. Cibo ottimo al ristorante ma prezzi esagerati.

Leider lieg das Hotel an einer sehr befahrenen Straße, ab morgens 6 Uhr ist ziemlich vieler und auch sehr schneller Verkehr. Man muß also die Fenster geschlossen halten. Strand ist in unmittelbarer Nähe und sehr gepflegt.

Frühstück: Kaffeebestellung wird zum Tisch gebracht / gutes Kaffee & sehr freundliche Bedienung. Für ein 3-Sterne Hotel sehr vielseitiges Morgenbüffet: Brötli, Gipfeli, Toastbrot, frischer Cake jeden Tag, 3 Sorten Cornflakes, Ei, Käse, Aufschnitt, Butter, viele Teesorten, Früchte und vieles mehr..

Strand: 250m vom Hotel entfernt ist der Sandstrand. Liegen können im Hotel reserviert/bezahlt werden. Wir waren 4 Tage in diesem Gebiet, wobei wir jeden Tag an einem andern Strand waren. Es gibt viele tolle Sandstrände in der Umgebung / im Süden. Sehr gute Empfehlungen haben wir im Hotel betreffend Strände in der Umgebung erhalten.

Nachtessen: Wir assen am ersten Abend im Hotel und hatten den Plan, die weiteren Restaurants in der Umgebung abzuklappern. Da wir jedoch eine so tolle, freundliche, hilfsbereite Bedienung hatten, haben wir die restlichen 4 Abende auch im Hotel gegessen. Grosser Menü-Auswahl (Fisch, Fleisch, Pasta und Pizza). Tipp: Probieren Sie die einheimischen Menüs!
Mittags waren wir dann auswärts, da wir auch im Sightseeing oder Baden waren.

Empfang: super freundlich und hilfsbereit bei Tourenplanung / Beratung sowie Informationen auch ausserhalb von Süden.

Zimmer & Umgebung: alles Top = WLAN, Sauber, gross, ruhig.. es hat Schwalbennester am Hotelfassade. Wir fanden das sehr naturgebunden und schön, dass die Schwalben diese Möglichkeit haben. Es war richtig entspannend. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Bellissimo giardino e piscina.
Ottima posizione per andare in spiaggia ( a piedi 5 minuti).
A ca 5 km da Villasimius.
Colazione deludente e disorganizzata. ( prodotti industriali e personale non organizzato tutte le mattine dovevo correre io in cucina quasi per ordinare..)
State alla larga dal ristorante.. Se siete ospiti dell'Hotel e vi fate addebitare sulla camera un pranzo vi \" rapinano\"...
Wifi buono anche se con hotspot ( tutte le volte devi rilloggarti).

Gentilissime alla reception ci hanno anche dato la possibilità di fare una doccia in una camera di servizio dopo il check out.

In generale, comunque, lo consiglio.

Prima Hotel, lekker zwembad dichtbij strand

Dit hotel ligt welliswaar ietwat van Villasimius af, maar vlakbij het strand Campus, zeer vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel, een heerlijk zwembad, prima verzorging.
Ontbijt is typisch Italiaans, maar niets mis mee.
Kamers werden elke dag schoongemaakt en voorzien van nieuwe handdoeken. perfecte parkeerplek voor de auto.
In restaurant kun je prima eten.
Binnen 10 minuten met de auto midden in centrum van Villasimius.
een aanrader, we hebben het hier prima naar de zin gehad en komen vast wel weer.

Séjour effectué début octobre, hôtel avec peu de chambres donc très calme. Cadre très agréable (jardin magnifique avec piscine) avec montagne derrière et plage à 250m à pied. Restaurant offrant grand choix et très bon. Personnel aimable et chaleureux. TRES BON SEJOUR!

Prima hotel met mooi zwembad en dichtbij strand

Eten en receptie prima, ligging goed, supermarkt aan de overkant. Erg goed personeel. ontbijt (continental breakfast) goed, Wifi nogal traag. bedden prima, elke dag wordt er goed schoongemaakt met schone handdoeken.

Tranquillità assoluta.

Sono ritornato per la seconda volta, sempre soddisfatto della pulizia delle camere, la tranquillità e della bella piscina.
Ho cenato qualche volta in hotel e la qualità del cibo è buona direi.
Ci ritornerò ancora se passerò da Villasimius.

Albergo di piccole dimensioni, molto rilassante

Mi ritengo soddisfatta dell'albergo dove ho trascorso
5 giorni di vacanza relax. La struttura e' di piccole dimensioni, molto grazioso, le camere molto pulite e con un ristorante di buona qualità. A due passi dal mare bellissimo della Sardegna. Ottima posizione anche per il servizio navetta che trasporta in 5 minuti al centro di villa simius

Ottima struttura, relax 100%, posizione ottima

Passate 3 notti in questo hotel, molto soddisfatto del trattamento, la struttura non e' grande ma forse questo e' il suo punto di forza, e' molto tranquilla e rilassante.
Con l'auto si possono raggiungere velocemente molte spiagge e altri siti, per chi non vuole spostarsi c'e' la spiaggia di Campus a 200 metri.
Ristorante ok, la qualita' e' ottima ed il personale e' molto attento al servizio e alla clientela

piccolo hotel curato

Esperienza positiva relativamente alla struttura (gradevole e curata), al personale (tutti cordiali e disponibili), alle cene al ristorante (buoni soprattutto i primi e i secondi di pesce). Camera family spaziosa e pulita con bel terrazzino con vista mare laterale (in lontananza). Migliorerei la colazione con maggiore varietà e qualcosa di tipico della zona. Comodo e fornito il market vicino. Poco distante dalla spiaggia di Campus (raggiungibile a piedi), che non è comunque una delle migliori della zona.
