Apon arriving, the lobby looked nice and had a good smell to it. The front desk worker was friendly. The first room we checked into the mini fridge was not working and we needed it because we had food, we called down to the front desk and she was able to get us into a different room even with how busy they looked. The room was clean, the only thing I didn’t like was how the curtains came over the air conditioning unit. The breakfast was like any other breakfast you get for a continental breakfast. The pool was cold but once you got used to it, it wasn’t bad. Overall I think we had a good stay.

The “heated pool was ice cold. Too cold to use.

The coffee maker was not compatible with the pods. I had to hold the lid down forcibly the entire brewing time because it would pop up and kick off.

Check in line was huge and only one person working on a Friday afternoon!

No meat at breakfast!

Elevator floors were dirty including a used plastic glove on the floor both days.

If using stairs to go to a relative’s room on first floor I had to exit the building and then re-enter.

Property was not the cleanest. Pool was a little chilly but nice pool for little kids. 8” entry up to 3 ft. Had amenities for little kids such as 2 slides and a mushroom waterfall. Breakfast was avg. staff at breakfast were very nice. Kids liked the pool and that was why we stayed there. Would not of picked that hotel if it weren’t for having little kids and the pool.

We stayed for five nights and, unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Cleanliness throughout the property could be improved, and the pool area in particular was disappointing—the water was quite cold and not well-maintained, with noticeable debris present. The hot tub was also only lukewarm at first, though it did warm up somewhat later.
One night, a strong smell of marijuana entered our room, which was disruptive and concerning. We had to take steps ourselves to make it manageable.
Breakfast was okay, but overall the stay felt average at best. With better attention to cleanliness, maintenance, and guest experience, this property has potential to improve. But staff was kind and helpful.

This hotel is very dirty. The pool area is dirty. The rooms were filthy. Only one elevator works so my son and I did take the stairs a few times and we were all the way on the 6th floor. The elevator wait times were well over 12minutes. The lady at the front desk disclosed there were people who lived at the hotel. I find this scary because she seemed close in contact with the tenant. This made me feel like my safety was at risk or financial matters could’ve been disclosed. I did not feel safe with leaving personal items in the room so I kept those on me at all times. I ended up leaving ay 1:30 AM in the morning due to noise and just down right not feeling safe. We will not be staying here anymore.

Beds were comfortable. Room was tidy until I found a random coat in the corner of the room. I requested and paid for an extra bed that was filthy with stains on the mattress and coils were very loose and uncomfortable to sleep on. I was given an “oh… sorry” about the coat in the room. We left the coat untouched. Breakfast was not kept warm and staff struggled with food upkeep as there were a lot of guests. The pool had a raw feces scent.

One elevator was broken and the one functioning one was so slow it was faster to take the 7 flights of stairs to our room. Beds were uncomfortable. Couldnt even get food at the breakfast because thwre were too many people. Will never be staying here again.

Keep in mind that most hotels including this one dose not have maid service. Cleaning of rooms, emptying of trash, etc with that being said this hotel makes it easy to understand how to receive clean towels. Place used towels outside by door, they give you clean, folded towels in a clean plastic bag. Set your trash out by the door they provide clean trash bags. You have to use your room key to get on the elevator from the ground floor, which I think is a great idea. Our grandkids really enjoyed the pool. I would stay again.

We were super excited for this trip at this hotel, mainly for the pool for my toddler. The pool was filthy and had bugs and hair floating in it. The room they gave us was the only one with a brick wall outside that looked like a party rooftop area and pretty sketchy, but luckily no one wandered up there to look in our windows while we were there. The breakfast was fine, but the floors in the pool area and bathrooms had noticable grime and the floors hadn't been scrubbed in a while. Such a bummer we were really looking forward to a fun stay with a pool day only if the area was a little cleaner. Luckily our toddler enjoyed it!

There were issues with the bathroom vent not working, no water pressure, and the shower drain not draining. When I told the front desk i was met with hostility. The hot tub was more of a warm bath and the pool was chilly. My kids shivered but still played. Also they have a sign saying if you don't want a deposit fee pay by credit card. Paid by credit card and was still charged a deposit.

Caution to parents with kids looking to book this hotel because of the advertised pictures of the nice looking pool area. The pool was in fact terrible. We booked this hotel for the kids to be able to play in the pool and hot tub during a road trip. Hot tub was disgustingly dirty: luke warm, cloudy and had an odor when we turned the jets on. My husbands skin started feeling tingly after sitting in it for 5 minutes. I didn’t dare go in. The floors were filled with black hair and small ants. The water in the pool was even worse - very cloudy. The whole pool area should get shut down. We pulled the kids out after 10 minutes fearing they would get a rash from that nasty water. We would never go back.

Horrible service from staff. Nowhere for our family to gather. Staff basically made us feel unwanted. 20+ people and three rooms for a week but we were denied adequate linens, a place to sit and play games. Oh and the free coffee/hot chocolate maker monitor that kept putting up the out of order sign or hiding the cups because to may kids were actually using and enjoying it! :( hotel has went waay downhill. Breakfast same everyday. Need a variety. Pool area has zero maintenance and it shows. Also, the children’s climbing things for pool pictured are no longer there at all. Paint chipping off pool slides, algae growing and JB weld toilet paper holders!! Literally could not make this all up. Plus being told we could not use a dining room w out a fee because if we left it dirty like others had in past they would have to call in cleaners and it cost them. Just absolutely saddened at the condition of one of our once loved family pit stops.

First off we stayed here 2 years ago and love it. This stay was so disappointing:( from just overall lack of cleanliness and staff that was so not accommodating. We literally felt like outsiders or intruders not hotel guests. We were told to leave our towels & linens outside our doors & we would receive replacements. This never happened. We had to everyday go ask for more towels. One day were told they had none that housekeeping must be doing laundry. Sigh. One employee told us when we tried using the eating area for snacks & family games that they do not allow this as people made a mess & its more work for housekeeping. What!!! We asked for an alternative like a conference room, it was full of mattresses & couches etc. as well as the eyesore of this as the door is open for all to see as you go down the hallway. We also had TVs not working, a microwave about catch fire. Add to the smell of skunk (iykyk) through out the hotel and outside. Oh and we asked to watch the IA game in the lobby one day and was told we could watch in our room as the Nebraska game was on. Same employee who told us we can’t use dining area. Not a Nebraska fan in sight of lobby during that whole time. Mind you we were a family of like 20 in three rooms for a whole week. We will not be back nor recommend others to stay here. Sad because 2 years ago it was our favorite. Whether different management or hard times it’s absolutely gone way downhill.

Had lower expectations due to the price. But, this was amazing, especially for the kids. The pool area is fun for ages 10 and below. It was cold in the pool room, but the kids were fine with it, and there is a hot tub. Everything worked. The breakfast was surprisingly good with diverse options. The staff all around were friendly. There is constant free coffee available at the hotel. Sure, it's an older hotel and it shows. But for the value, a no brainer for a deal. Exceeded expectations, would stay again.

We had stayed here a couple of times before without any issues. The staff is always kind. Breakfast is good and the bed is comfortable. However, this time we had cockroaches that we found crawling in our room, along with dead roaches that were in the corner of the bathroom. I complained about the cockroaches and asked to be put on a different floor on the other side of the hallway so that we were not sharing any wall space. This is only because we were under the assumption that they had sprayed for bugs and it was being taken care of.When we moved to the new room, the beds were dirty, but made up. There were hairs all over the mattress and dirty dishes and food left in the refrigerator and the carpet had not been vacuumed. Since I booked through a third-party, I was not able to get a refund, but we did leave that night!

We had a great stay. It wasn't quite 5 stars, but definitely 4.5. Check in/out was easy, breakfast was fantastic and my young kids loved the pool — it was perfect for them. Loved the 3 p.m. check-in and noon check-out. The only complaint was the beds seem a little dated/used. Did have to use a CC for $150 damage deposit, so I will have to remember to check that I got that back. We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay was really disappointing. The room we stayed in was dirty and had obvious water damage along the windowsill and wall. The pool slide area was especially concerning — the stairs had tons of mold, and the floors were absolutely filthy. The elevators felt sketchy and unsafe, which didn’t help the overall experience. I’ve honestly never seen a hotel in this condition before. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it.

Not the worst Best Western I have stayed at, but not the best Best Western. Starting outside in. The parking lot had garbage in the overgrowth. Lobby was nice but had a large piece of ventilation equipment set off to the side of the 1 elevator they had. Yes, there was only 1 elevator & no stairs close to the lobby/front of the building. The room was okay. Crumbs from previous stays seen under the couch. But housekeeping did a nice job. Kiddos to them for having to share the elevator with the staff and hotel guests with their carts.
Breakfast was a buffet that consisted of the exact same items every day. Scrambled eggs with meat, peppers and onions, regular scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, make your own waffles, toast, cold/hot cereal, muffins, apples. Made in the kitchen, but typically cold as people are trying to all get breakfast within a short window of time (3 hrs).
The pool was horrible and disgusting. The floor needed to be power washed. The white pool stucco had dirt all over. There was absolutely no ventilation, very hard to breath. It was like walking into a sauna. The pool had 2 kid slides, a big kid and toddler slide. The big slide had visible dirt on the side of it. Along with visible rust around the stairs. My children complained of seeing different items in the pool; sand, multiple bandaids a few dead bugs and pizza crust. There was also peeling of the ceiling and water dripping from the ceiling in multiple areas.
