This in the historic district centrally located. The street that it is located on is a limited access street. The staff was beyond exceptional in helping to rectify camera ticket that I got while dropping off elderly at hotel. If you’re on the road after 6 you get a ticket and have to go to police station next day to take of. That road is the only way to access hotel. If you are traveling with elderly or children or have a car I would not recommend this hotel. If you’re traveling by foot the room was large clean, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were outstanding. The hotel parking is about a mile away. You need to pay a cab to take you with your luggage to access car.

Can’t drive in the historic area. Parking was tough. We had to park 15 minutes away and lugged our bags. The staff was very helpful. November is a low tourist time so a number of restaurants were not open.

The room was big and clean but needed some additional attention for a top rating. The mini bar was empty with no water in the room. There were no glasses provided in the room either...just a tired paper cup in the empty refrigerator. The breakfast buffet was not as varied or as good as in the other hotels that we stayed in during our stay in Sicily and the breakfast staff was pretty absent and uninterested in the clients. The front desk was very helpful in booking a cab for us before we arrived but not so friendly once we got there.
The location is very very convenient- with a little effort the hotel could be great.

We stayed for two nights here and we would absolutely recommend it to other travellers. The location is in the heart of the old town, literally steps to exceptional sea side dining options, boutique shopping, and a beautiful quiet area on the beach to enjoy. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the hotel is spotless and safe. Excellent choice that allowed us to maximize our time in this stunning sea side community.

A great place to stay

I loved it there. It was perfectly located to walk to all areas of old town and was not too far from the gate so if you want to walk to the old harbor or beyond, it works. I could easily go back to the room to change or drop something. It is close to the beach, duomo and shopping. People running the desk were helpful. Had a nice little balcony and great AC. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Highly recommend.

We knew the hotel was in a restricted traffic area, so we drove as far as we could and called the front desk who redirected us to a gated parking lot behind an electronics store. Once there we called back and asked for the shuttle, no shuttle you have to call a cab, we requested they call and shortly after were picked up.on check out learned they not only charge for parking but the cab fare as well. One serious thing we thought was for heaven’s sake throw out the carpet in the elevator and replace it with tile. It stinks like a cross between a dirty dog and urine. No wonder everyone used the stairs.

The hotel was centrally located in the old section of Cefalu and was a great location for shopping and eating. The hotel itself was average at best. It was clean but the hallway had a sewer odor and the shower drain didn’t drain very fast causing the shower pan to fill up. The breakfast was not wonderful and there are so many great coffee shops around it was fine to eat somewhere else. Also know that since it is in the main shopping and dining areas, it’s very loud at night and in the morning.

Unbelievable bad experience. Start with rooms. It is old mansion. They took hallway and build in rooms with plywood and some drywall . I’m in construction and this is such a bad job. Anyone who was checking we can hear them talk. Room have hair everywhere. Bathroom dirty. Pool dirty and old. Pics do not portray place correctly. We pay 180 euros and honestly I will not pay 50. Ph and breakfast. At 8:30 am. Everything was empty no water no eggs. Empty jars. So bizarre. This is worst stay we got so far in Sicily. I don’t understand. Building got huge potential. But it’s almost like they don’t care

I liked how the property is centrally located, and especially the good security entering the building. The front desk staff was very helpful and really tried to please. The property is looking a little tired inside. It could use a bit of renovation and styling. It does not have a seating area when you are checking in, and I think it could benefit from this to make the entrance look more cozy.

We drove from Palermo to Cefalu. Discovered quite quickly that you cannot drive close to hotel as streets narrow & pedestrian only. We had to park our car at the public beach parking lot & walked several blocks to the hotel. Hotel was in a fantastic location. Could easily walk to the beach. Wifi wasn't working when we were there so had to pay our bill with euros upon checking out. In room safe not secured to anything either. We only stayed one night & it was perfect for our needs.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the middle of old town Cefalu. Convenient to restaurants, historical landmarks, beach, and shopping. Fun to walk around the area and to sit by the sea and people watch. The hotel provides parking several blocks from the hotel so they must be contacted if transportation to the hotel is requested. Breakfast is the only meal provided. The room was small but clean with a small balcony facing the street. We were two friends traveling together and would have preferred twin beds but had to share a queen. But overall the hotel and stay was wonderful.

The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel right at the end of Corso Ruggero, the main tourtist shopping street and right in the middle of the city. Very convenient to the train station. It is walkable, but if you have physical limitations or a lot of luggage, you can take a taxi. The hotel has a really nice breakfast room, with possibilities of eating outside, and a good international breakfast buffet. The staff was professional and personable. In fact, I had to leave early before breakfast hours, but was still offered coffee, yogurt and biscotti. My room was nice and comfortable, albeit a little cool in March, as there didn't seem to be any heat. I would definitely stay here again.

This small boutique hotel is in a great location with free parking about 900m away. I found the breakfast rather average and repetitive with tinned fruit (disappointingly) as there is so much when produce locally. There is a sense that you are overpaying for the sake of antique furniture and a bar which us never open. Would not return.

La Plumeria could not be better located (but do ask for the transfer if you park the car!) for access to the cathedral, old town, beach, restaurants. Our room was very quiet (except for a mother seagull scolding her chicks that were misbehaving), as was the patio where we had breakfast.
The only drawback was our room--up in the attic, so we had to carry our bag up, very low ceiling, bathroom on a different level (within room). So be sure you know!

Great time at a nice place in old town Cefalù.

My wife and I tacked on a one night stay in Cefalù to wrap up our ten days in Sicily. The Hotel Plumeria was a wonderful, upscale small family-run hotel located in the beating heart of the old town and 50 meters from the Norman cathedral. We used their free parking and taxi service which made getting our gear and selves into the traffic restricted old town easy and convenient. Definitely recommend!

Gem of a hotel in the heart of the old town. The staff gave us advanced information regarding where to park our rental car. If you’ve driven around Sicily you know how important it is to get help with parking. The lot was secure and a taxi came a few minutes after our arrival to take us the short distance to the hotel. This hotel is very modern with new fixtures and air conditioning. The room is a good size with new double pane glass windows and balcony doors that keep the room quite. The location affords easy walking access to all of Cefalù’s main attractions. The breakfast was as expected and served in a comfortable dining room. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay when visiting Cefalù.

We had a terrific time at La Plumeria. The staff was very attentive and nice: we got a good overview of the city when we checked in and were offered a nice glass of wine later that afternoon as we chatted with another staff member. We had booked the room on the top floor which is a duplex with a terrace. It is absolutely fantastic. Despite the heat, we enjoyed the terrace in the evening and the views are breath-taking. Cefalu is full of tourists in the summer but it is a beautiful place.

Great hotel staff. Francesca was so helpful with advice about eating out, travelling to Palermo and sharing her knowledge of the local area.
Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room overall was great.
Taxi service the hotel provided was fast arriving to car park and parking was easy to find with the Tom Tom.
I am a light sleeper so I would hear the chatter and noise coming up the stairs from the breakfast area in the mornings. Otherwise the room was quiet even though it was in the centre of Cefalù. Hotel is walking distance to cafes and restaurants.
Hotel was lovely and clean.
Breakfast included a huge range of foods to suit all breakfast needs.

La Plumeria hotel was lovely. The location was perfect and the room was cozy and quiet. My only complain is the reception person. We asked about restaurants and was very pushy about one up the street. He never mentioned to visit the piazza and enjoy the area . also, he never mentioned about a great food festival taking place just couple blocks from the hotel .he hotel offers a complimentary taxi service from the parking lot to the hotel and back since this is a no driving zone

Hotel in great location but staff is clueless and would not recommend. Check in was a nightmare and if you are driving into Cefalù you have to park far from hotel about a 15 minute walk with luggage. They were suppose to send a shuttle but never told us that in original email. They need to get their act together.

We loved the central location and we’re able to walk everywhere. If you’re driving, it gets a little complicated but the hotel is supper helpful. There is one room on the 3rd floor with a deck and a view of the duomo but all the rooms are nice. We were several couples and it worked perfectly.

This is one of our favorite places in Sicily. The location was great. The proprietor was so helpful. Our room was on the fourth floor so it was quite a climb but the room was large and comfortable and it was near outdoor patio that overlooked the city and the Valley of the temples beyond. Pretty super!

Of interest to those on a driving trip to Sicily: Because parking is restricted in the Old Town, we were requested to park our car in a designated space just outside the Old Town. That was set up with a telephone that linked us directly to the hotel so staffers could open the gate to the parking space and so we could arrange for our free pick up, with bags, and transfer to the hotel. It all worked perfectly. At the end of the stay, we were provided with a second free transfer back to the parking lot.
