The hotel & staff were incredible, I would recommend visiting this place 100% and we will be returning next year along with our wedding party.

The staff were so attentive getting you anything you needed. The food was unreal as well, we are always a bit apprehensive with all inclusive but were really impressed by the variety of food and drinks.

Definitely worth a visit if your considering going to Cyprus!

Very reasonably priced for the shoulder season. Room was comfortable. Very nice outdoors areas with many places to sit. Breakfast buffet was extensive. The room could have used a somewhat more extensive deep clean (windows, mirrors, washroom surfaces, etc.). Not too much in the immediate walkable vicinity, but there is a path along the shore. The adjacent construction was a little annoying, but they were upfront about it when I booked.

This food in the hotel is fantastic and the staff are very friendly. There is a small beach in the hotel area and it is very good for snorkelling. The garden in the hotel is amazing and the whole area looks very beautiful. Everywhere in the hotel is very clean and the location is a bit quiet, which is very good for the family.

The hotel is sat at a very pleasant quiet bay. Staff were friendly and breakfast wad decent and catered for all options (though my husband wasn't very impressed quality-wise). This was a couples holiday and so I would not return to the hote as I think it was very family oriented, especially with the entertainment in the evening, which we could hear quite loudly from our room until about 11pm. Overall, however, it was a good stay. Good gym as well 👍

The hotel is about an hour from larnaka airport. Great location with shops bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The hotel is delightful, the staff are very kind and welcoming. I had booked a room with no balcony and inland view but was upgraded to a balcony sea view room at no cost. They had put out a complimentary bottle of champagne and fruit platter in my room on arrival, very nice touch! The breakfast buffet is as you’d expect, lots to choose from, with a live cooking section. Lovely pool area with plenty of sun loungers, the beach bar does an array of drinks, cocktails and gorgeous bar food. A stunning private beach awaits at the end of the hotel, sun loungers are €2.50 for the day. The have evening entertainment until 11pm although I headed out most evenings. Had a lovely lunch (on the house) with one of the hotel staff on my last day. They genuinely care about feedback and ways in which they can improve the service. My only complaint was that you can hear the crickets in the middle of the night which, if you are a light sleeper can be a bit of a struggle. Besides that I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this hotel whether you are traveling with family, as a couple or solo like me you will have a great stay here!

We enjoyed the garden very much. We were spending all day out in a natural shade. Activation for kids was great, as well as food. Room was fine and clean, furniture might be renewed. Service was also great. The beach is not private and reserved for hotel guests, therefore not in a best shape, but the water was perfect and clean.

Awesome Hotel next to the beach

We arrived Larnaca after midnight. At check-in they provided us a bottle of welcome Champagne drink , sandwiches, fruits and 2 bottles of water. Breakfast buffet was awesome with a variety of selection and was more than enough. Everything was self service. Pool was a pretty good size and more than adequate loungers(not at height of peak season yet tho). The beach was in a cove and therefore had that "private feeling". The sea was awesome to swim in and go snorkeling. The hotel is interconnected with many other hotels and sailing club you can just walk around on the beach front. If you decide to stay on the beach and use the loungers be prepared to pay EU2.50 each item. Ask for receipt and it's yours to use for the day. The local buses pickup and dropoff is right outside the hotel that will take you to Ayia Napa, Protaras, Paralimi etc. Soo convenient. I would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Amazing experience

I have visited Crystal Springs Beach Hotel during the month of May. The overall stay was a very pleasant experience. The staff is very helpful and friendly, always ready to solve some issues. the pool is clean, the areas around the beach are very well maintained with green grass and flowers everywhere. The food is delicious in all bars and restaurants. The only concern I have is its location which is far from Protaras Center where all the nightlife is located. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to have a relaxing stay.

Stayed one night with kids, at connecting sea view rooms. Although we had a delayed check in (14:25 instead 14:00), the receptionist apologized and offered us a late check out on Sunday. Clean friendly hotel, great for families

We found the staff so welcoming, helpful & friendly. There was a huge choice of food and the odd two days out of two weeks where there was too much fish for my children, they still had choices. We found the place very clean and all staff from cleaners to managers were visibly busy keeping the hotel in great condition.
There were plenty of sun beds around for everyone, we could always get one. It was an easy 30 second walk down to a lovely beach. We had a great time & would go there again.

Awesome position next to the beach

Spent 11 nights at this hotel and it was a great hotel. The water in the bay it was located was clear and calm and suitable for swimming and snorkelling even for someone like me who is not a strong swimmer. There were reports of a turtle in the bay so worth having a go. Bus service was good which I think is needed as although the entertainment in the hotel is ok there are not many bars/restaurants nearby without the use of the bus.

Lovely hotel!!

We visit Cyprus every year and have stayed in a lot of hotels in Protaras and pernera,and in my opinion crystal springs is up there with one of my favourite, all inclusive hotels. We were a party of 6 adults and one infant , and from the moment we arrived everything was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible, staff from the reception , to the restaurant and pool bar were all very friendly, and polite,and always greeted us with a smile . We were so impressed we have chosen to rebook for next year , for a friends wedding , and I can't wait.

I arrived here for a long weekend. The hotel is lovely with wonderful staff. The rooms are excellent. Comfortable beds, wet room, balcony. The gardens are so beautiful with flowers everywhere and the beach looks like a rock pool. With sand and rocks all around with flowers and cactus. You can go snorkelling here. There are activities including aqua aerobics, a spa and hairdressers. Some good walks around and shops and supermarkets nearby. You are a short bus ride from the city of Proteras and also a bus the other way to Paralimni. The staff are so wonderful. They cannot do enough to help you. Thank you to Andreas, Eva and Gannis and also the General Manager who was so lovely and helpful. The food is really nice with various Greek dishes as well as international and lots of fruit. The evenings were great with singing, dancing and entertainment. This is really a lovely hotel to stay at.

Our stay was ok , just average . The food in the buffet restaurant seriously needs looked at . Most 4star hotels have double the selection of food and the show cooking was pathetic to say the least . Would hate this in the summer . Only one toilet also near the pool and restaurant area .

The staff here are fantastic. Everyone is so tentative to your needs and happy to have a laugh with you as well.
The hotel isnt in Protaras like advertised. It is a nice break for couples or anyone who just wants a relaxing holiday.
There is a bus (102) which takes you to Protaras town centre and is €1.50 each (until 9:30 when it changes to €2.50) and runs until 4am so you have your freedom to stay in the resort for a meal and drinks without rushing.
Crystal Springs is a beautiful hotel. Clean. Private Beach is lovely and pool is spacious.
Food is top standards.
I would return again.
And would recommend the Original Red Bus Tour to Famagusta city as a day trip.

The staff were nice. The food was varied and good. The pool was dirty all of the time (dirt on the bottom, pieces of plastic bags, water bugs skimming around), and the bathroom time needed regrouting/scrubbing of mold. The decorative pillows and bedspread had spots of yoghurt, toothpaste or something else on them.

Our impression of this hotel was generally good. We liked the breakfast. It was plentyfull and With great variety of food. Upon arrival we were complimented with a bottle of champagne and fruit. The only thing that we did not like is that we were waiting for some time from the hotel to arrange for a proper bed for the third adult person, according to our reservation, and the unhelpful attitude of the front office dept to assist us with better accommodation, while they had the opportunity to do so.

* Staff were all exceptionally helpful and friendly, and they couldn't do enough to ensure a pleasant stay.
*The gardens are very well maintained and we had no problems finding sunbeds, even though we were a party of 9.
* The breakfast buffet had a wide range of delicious options.
* I cant think of any negatives. Maybe this hotel is not as luxurious as some others, but the staff more than made up for any shortfall. I'm going back, can't wait.

Great family hotel on the beach

The hotel is situated on a charming beach away from the touristy Main Street of shops. Hotel has a nice lobby, nice pool and great breakfast buffet. The rooms are clean with air conditioning that works well. Maid service was prompt and effective. Just one thing to note: the rooms are quite basic as far as size, decor and amenities. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return.

Stayed end of July '15 on all inclusive basis. This was my 3rd time staying here AI. The food has always been quite good, breakfast especially, and it was pleasing to see that the AI drinks menu has been expanded to include more drinks than the previous years. The pool was nice as always and the beach is just a few steps away. However, some may not consider this to be a very good beach, but for me it's good enough.
For dinner every night there is a different theme and then there is some entertainment show by the pool bar.
For those wishing to visit the main road of Protaras, where there are shops,bars and restaurants, be advised that it is a couple of kilometers away, but the bus comes by just outside the hotel or if you have a car you can drive there.
Our beds were two singles, on top of which they placed another bed layer, making it a double bed, and it was soooo comfortable. The pillows were comfortable too.
There is a kettle in the room and tea and coffee supplies if you need them.

Crystal Springs in summer

As a couple stayed, all-inclusive at reasonable rate with 10% discount as last minute booking, overnight prior to flight late the following night. Ample variety of good food and plenty drinks though inclusive ice cream of vanilla flavour and choc ices tended to run out as 34 degrees in cloudless blue skies ensured pool was warm. A word of warning: the shower over bath is dangerously slippy as the bath is too steeply curved and not flat bottomed enough with no dimples and no inside non-slip bath-mat. Air conditioned rooms comfortable though pillows a bit flat. Buffet restaurant and pool-side snack bar. Adjacent to small cove though beach shelves steeply. Shuttle to airport can be arranged but not hotel's and costs 12.5 euros each. Not many shops nor eateries nearby, hence all-inclusive option.

Our Crystal Springs Break

Excellent hotel, great location and excellent service from friendly, caring staff.
The only downside is that locals visit the hotel at weekends. No issue if they are paying guests, however it is evident that many simply come along as groups and families and use the hotel's excellent grounds and facilities. It is annoying when they are not enough sun chairs for paying guests. This should be better supervised and discouraged.

A quick 3 days!

I was invited over the Protaras by a friend of mine from Halifax, Yorkshire, who was going over there with his wife to celebrate her 65th birthday. they were staying at the hotel next door - the Atlantico Sea Breeze - which is adult but which was fully booked.

The Crystal Springs is a perfect place for families, with a decent swimming pool and an ok beach right by, plus large gardens with lots of chairs and loungers.

It is scrupulously clean and the staff are good, attentive and warm.

The rooms are what you would expect, lovely bathroom (not large but good) with a 'rain' shower but no bath.

The food is exactly what you would expect at all inclusive buffets. Nothing to be excited about but not much to really complain about.

Al in all - a good hotel. The Sea Breeze next door is much better for atmosphere - but it's all adult.

Another great stay at Crystal Springs

This is our second stay at the hotel. Like last year I got the all inclusive package (which, as in many other hotels means some inclusive), and my only regret is the weight I gained! The food was very good. For those going B&B the breakfast is very good and includes freshly baked pastries.
The stuff are friendly and eager to help.
The parking spaces are not enough for everyone but there is a big empty- and dusty- field where one can park.
The pool is good enough, but they don't have any waiters to take your order when laying on the sunbed, you have to go to the pool bar to be served.
There is a gym at the hotel for those wanting to work out during their stay.
The beach is just a walk down some stairs. Be warned though that it's not the Sandy beach of fig tree bay! Personally I like it here but others might not like it. However it's quiet.
The rooms were cleaned every day.
The hotels has some activities throughout the day that one might attend.
To go to Protaras or Ayia Napa you need a car or figure out the bus timetable.

Staff are trained!

Wow - the staff at this place are amazing! They have obviously been trained to pay attention to the customer. In very few places have I experienced the level of attentiveness received - every single employee took a moment to look at me, smile, greet me and make me feel that I mattered. That by far outweighed any slight weaknesses from thereon in! We were there for just a sleepover so did not experience the entire offering. The location is a bit isolated but nice if that is what you like. The rooms are very basic but functional. The two buffets were very well varied and tasty.

We stayed at the Crystal Springs when over in Cyprus for a wedding recently and had a lovely stay. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We stayed off season in May which meant that the resort was fairly quiet and relaxing which was nice! The hotel is located in a quiet area but is walkable to the shops. We hired a car so that we could do more exploring.
There are plenty of sun loungers by the pool as well as in the beautiful grounds over looking the beach and there is a pool bar serving a wide variety of lunch/ dinner/ cocktails.
Breakfast was also great - huge selection of both hot and cold dishes, eggs meat, cheeses, fruit pastries etc.
The rooms are fairly basic but nice and clean. Only down points were that there was no iron/ ironing board in the room and when we asked for one we had to take our clothes down to reception to iron them. Also, no access to the fridge either which was strange. Wifi is available in the rooms at a charge.

Great family hotel

Just came back from this hotel, absolutely beautifull. The views of the gardens are amazing, cleanliness of the hotel is of a high standard. Food was lovely.
The staff have been excellent nothing was too much for them and it was nice that the staff were Greek...
I would definitely go back to this hotel so if your looking for a nice relaxing family holiday you will not be disappointed.

A very relaxing, reasonably priced resort. Would definitely recommend. The kids club was excellent for our 3 year-old daughter who had the best time w/ kiddie disco at night and building sand castles by day. Child friendly but still romantic with exemplary service. Gym and salon in underbelly of hotel (basement as they called it) a bit dismal and unpopulated but our room (superior suite) was wonderful.

Decent 3 star

It is nowhere near as bad as the 1 rating it has at the moment, I actually think it is an above average 3 star, I have been in far worse 4 stars. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff are helpful and really friendly, facilities are good , nice pool, food is ok, my only major gripe is the really poor quality alcohol served in the bar, literally bootleg level. Other than that, if you want a cheap , decent 3 star, it is pretty good.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a very relaxing time and my son made lots of friends and really enjoyed himself in and around the pool. We enjoyed swimming in the cove next to the hotel. The food wasn't gourmet but there was lots of choice, it was lovely and fresh and tasty. The rooms weren't luxury but they were very clean and we only slept in them anyway.

Great Hotel for families

The Hotel is perfectly situated and is great for families. I was however disappointed with the beds and the air conditioning in the room.
The service was very good and the food choice and quality good also. The staff were at pains to make sure that we were ok and were very accommodating even going as far as to cook some fresh calamari for my 4 year old despite this not being available otherwise.
We would definitely recommend to others although I would advise that the Hotel considers changing the poor quality mattresses in the rooms as this was the one thing that I personally wasn't entirely happy with. The rest of the family didn't seem as bothered as me though!!
All in all a good hotel and one that we'd go back to without hesitation.

The hotel's location, garden and dinning room was excellent. There was an unpleasant smell near the swiming pool kiosk at times. The bathrooms should have been renovated as well even though they are at an acceptable level.

The good stuff - rooms were very good. Everything perfectly clean and all worked. The view over the gardens and bay were fabulous, as we were on the top ( 5th) floor. The pool was excellent with a large number of loungers available. Gardens were great. Food was brilliant - wide variety available at the set times and snacks available from the pool side bar the rest of the time. Staff were extremely helpful. Also there's a scuba diving centre in the grounds. Didn't see too much in the way of entertainment which suited us.

Bad stuff - Drinks prices A pint of Keo was €4.40 -the same thing in Protaras was €1.80. You had to pay for use of the safety deposit box in the room and the fridge which mounted up - a British couple who I stood by handed over €80 for these and a deposit on the TV remote to stay there a week. Also there's no free Wi-fi. This was €10 for two hours. all should have been provided free of charge. Beach - disappointing as it's gravely, about 2 metres wide and not very clean. Also some litter in the bay itself but you only see this as it is a great place to snorkel and the water is incredibly clear. Parasols - these are rubbish , being tiny and incredibly easy to walk into as they are too low. Shade isn't an issue if you want it on the terraced gardens overlooking the bay provided by palm trees.

These are very minor niggles as all in all, this hotel is a great place to stay and we would definitely go back there and stay for longer.

Very friendly staff

Very friendly hotel staff but standard of the hotel is quite low. I'm not sure if this is the norm, but you have to pay for a key to gain access to the fridge, pay a deposit for the tv remote control. These two things alone should give you an idea of the standard of the hotel.

This is not a 4* hotel, no surrounding facilities in walking distance & the beach is tiny!!!!

We were very disappointed with many points of this hotel. We travelled with 2 adults & kids 10 &15. Having stayed in many hotels world-wide our immediate impression was it was more of a low 3* rating. There were no restaurants within walking distance. The sporting facilities were well below par of that of a 4* hotel. Although there was a beach, if there were more than 10 people on it, it was crowded. We never managed to get a sun lounger ANY day & visited family at a neighbouring 4* hotel that was cheaper & MUCH better facilities/decor/location. All that said, the food was OK, staff friendly & helpful.

Pleasant hotel

Overall it was a pleasant hotel and the staff were very friendly. The room was clean except for the curtains which were stained. It's a quiet location and hotel so our sleep was not disturbed by loud noises.

The breakfast was a little poor. They served only 3 fruits so if you can't eat or don't like those you can't eat fruits. Not a lot of healthy choices either except from the boiled and scrambled eggs. I hope they change their breakfast buffet a little in the future to accommodate healthy eaters.

Lovely place to stay no hesitation to recommend.

The hotel is beautifully set out with luxurious landscaping planted out with a riot of color, the gardens are terraced down to the beach with plenty of loungers on each level. The pool is large and very clean and the bar beside offers large measures of both drink and delicious food as good quality as any restaurant in the resort. We were half board so only ate in the restaurant on the first night but the buffet was exceptional with a large variety of tasty food and freshly prepared salads, breakfast's were of the same quality with even chocolate croissants being baked and served straight away while they are hot. The rooms are very bright and airy with wide sliding doors and comfy beds and are cleaned to a high standard daily. With the wonderfull climate the air conditioning is a boon and makes it comfortable to sleep at night. The staff at the hotel are a mix of Cypriot, and European all speaking very good English and are friendly and accomodating. There is not much to do locally but Protaras itself is only a five minute bus ride away which is a half hourly service during the day, hourly after midnight right through the night. On the whole we enjoyed ourselves tremendously having a lovely stress free week and would recommend this Hotel to anyone wholeheartedly.

Very nice gardens, nice sea side, very convenient if you have children. Not a fancy decoration, but friendly staff, if they give more attention to little details the hotel would be excellent!! I recommend it highly because it is cosy and friendly with reasonable prices.

Friendly and courteous staff who actaully made an effort. Hotel had an easy going atmosphere, was quite well looked after and everything worked as it should. In my expeience this is a rarity in Europe without spending squillions. My kids liked it, especially the bunk beds in the room, we would definity go back

Great hotel by the beach. Neighbourhood around the hotel is not that great. No shops, a lot of unmaintained buildings, and garbage floating around.

I did not mind the noise from the building site next to the hotel, but I can imagine that it can be a bit annoying for some people. Especially if you are planning a whole day at the pool.

All in all a good experience at the hotel, but the surrounding areas has a lot to be desired.
