Room was spacious and clean. Pool areas good. Great choice of food. Speciality restaurant were excellent. Drinks were good with plenty of choice.
Evening entertainment was disappointingly poor and not very professional.

All hotel members of staff were very friendly and welcoming. Special mention to George the restaurant manager who was great with advising on food allergies as my daughter has celiac. Another special mention to Andre, his enthusiasm for all activities was amazing, everybody loves him

Lovely family hotel with option of adults only pool.

Nice enough buffet with option of 2 a La Carte outlets.

Friendly staff, great entertainment team.

On the boardwalk to Kipparis and Protaras.

Small suite was more of a large family room but it was plenty comfortable enough. Nice large balcony/terrace. (Sun mostly AM in early June , room 160 - shade creeps in in the afternoon).

Gym facility has free weights and strength machines (cables & smith machine) there’s a separate cv suite too.

Indoor spa pool looked lovely but we weren’t sure that it was open (we read somewhere that it was May & November only.

We booked through Expedia as we didnt need flights. Had a great stay as a family of 3 and would stay again!

Great holiday and lovely accommodation

Lovely hotel - clean, pool for adults and separate for kids was great. Goodvalue for money, great sunbeds, good cocktails and Al a carte restaurants food were gorgeous and staff were excellent, attentive and really friendly.

All staff were polite, efficient and helpful.

Lovely accommodation.. and will look forward to returning

Amazing location and staff!

My husband and I had a lovely time. The staff at this hotel make it a great experience. In particular, Sam and George in the restaurant, chef Louisa in the snack bar and Flávio and Andre. We travelled here with my parents for my Mum’s birthday. We had an amazing time and the staff made it so special for her birthday.
The location of this hotel was stunning and it has direct access to the sea off the coastal path. The food was a great standard and the bar staff make delicious drinks!

We arrived when the hotel was just opening up for the season. It would have been great if we had access to all the areas straight away. However as the week unfolded the hotel started to fully open so by the end of the week we got to experience two of the dining areas.

The hotel was exceptionally clean. The amenities in the rooms including toiletries available could be more extensive.

We would like to come back another time to experience the hotel in full capacity.

Overall an amazing place, we arrived too early for check in but we were allowed to have breakfast. We met a wonderful waiter called George who was by far the best team member there, exactly the person you want to meet after a flight, transfer and no sleep. I was annoyed when I was told I only had bed and breakfast, only for the receptionists to realise their mistake, I felt like they thought I was lying. I would of given this venue five out of five if it wasn’t for that incident.

Covid half term week away.

Very good value all inclusive.
Nice hotel in good location with tasty food.
Drinks are cheap and cheerful but as you would expect on an AI stay.
Staff were all great,friendly and professional.
Night time entertainment wasn’t good but only as expected in Covid times.
All in all we had a great half term week away.

Surprisingly good! Great location, two super beaches right on the doorstep. Usual canteen style food. Rooms a bit tired but clean. Kids loved it. Evening entertainment better than some 5 stars we’ve stayed in.

Half the price of our usual resort in Portugal and probably slightly better.

The hotel was lovely. We went for a friends wedding and stayed for one week. The wedding was beautiful and the location was perfect. We could walk to other bars, shops and restaurants or just a short taking ride to other towns. The food was delicious and the staff where very friendly. The pool is a great design for young children, especially those learning to swim. The only downside would be the entertainment in the evening was a bit repetitive. They love a Michael Jackson tribute.

Fab welcome from the reception staff and easy check-in.
The room and the comfort level was very good.
The cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate.
My only caveat is that I feel you may need to either be a smoker, eat loudly and with your mouth open, have tattoos and speak Russian to fit in with some of the guests there.

We stayed at Pernera beach during the 2nd week of the 2019 summer season.

Overall we had an excellent stay. The hotel was relatively quiet at around 60% occupation. We had a spacious modern family room with bunk beds for our 2 children, sea view room overlooking the pool area initially & then beautiful views out to sea.

Good was excellent, plenty of choice and food quality for each meal. Evenings had a different theme each night on top of an already generous offering of salads, sides, veg, etc...

We were lucky to get good weather so lounging around the pool was the order of the day. Be warned in April the pool is freezing but that didn't stop our 2 children being in and out of it all day. No issues with sunbeds, plenty at all times of day (this maybe different at peak season when hotel is full).

Drinks were generally good, the lager was fine as was the white wine. Cocktails were hit and miss as they generally use cordials for orange, lemon, lime flavours which made some quite sickly.

Overall we had an excellent stat and wouldn't hesitate booking another stay at Pernera beach. Big shout out to Eddie and Mike who do an excellent job as the entertainment team.

Excellent ... definately deserves more than 3*

Excellent hotel ... really don't understand why it is only 3* as I've stayed in much worse 5* ... caters for couples and families with small children ... all the staff are helpful, friendly and smile a lot. The food and beverage offering for an all inclusive hotel exceeded expectations ... they provide absolutely everything from breakfast/lunch/dinner buffets with huge variety of hot and cold dishes to snacks provided throughout the day, ice creams, etc (even fresh cold water is provided via filtered taps). The spa area is well equipped providing everything you need ... there are pools for adults only, kids and a main one. Good animation and the evening shows such as fire and magic are very good. Bedrooms are spacious and have everything in them ... bathrooms are newly fitted and clean ... as a recommendation I would suggest the hotel buy new pillows as they were a little flimsy and the wifi connection kept dropping so that needs looking at ... other than that we will definately be back next year!!!

Overall very good. Very good food. Lots of variety. Friendly helpful staff who were good with kids and the cleaners we're nice and done a great job of cleaning the room everyday. A decent balconys and sized rooms that were clean with comfortable beds although the sofa beds need to be replaced as you might aswel sleep on the hard floor . As we traveled with a toddler it would have been good to have a child's water area with a walk in pool. Minor gripe though. The child's pool was fine but to deep for my baby to stand up in.

Well run resort with friendly staff and good food

We stayed at Pernera Beach Hotel for a week as part of a family wedding and had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to others. This is a small resort (compared to the huge ones in Mexico for example) but very well run. Pretty much everything was better than you would expect for a hotel that has a three star rating (I never know how they come up with those stars). The food was good, lots of variety. We didn't try the restaurant that you need to have a reservation but others in our group did. The staff are all really nice. The only drawback is that there is a lot of construction going on in the area behind the hotel.

Very well placed hotel on a private beach with fantastic views.
The hotel staff were friendly and happy to please.
Rooms were great and we had a free upgrade to a bigger room with fantastic sea and pool view.
Children's evening entertainment was a bit \"same\" ish every evening and quite annoying as we didn't have kids but they did put on other entertainment after.

I was a little sceptical about our stay before going there,but i was definitely pleasant surprised by what we found.Very nice big and comfortable room,nice view from our sew view balcony,kind and helpful staff.The food was ok.
Overall a very good hotel and we found out that this winter it will be renovated and probably upgraded to 4 stars which i am sure it deserves already!

The Pernera Beach Hotel is a lovely hotel, just a little walk away along the sea front walkway to the lively Protaras Beach main tourist area.
The hotel was freindly, clean and provided us with a very nice last minute break.
The food was very good indeed.

Great Pool at Pernera

Lovely hotel. Great customer service. Everything you need is close by. There is a supermarket at the hotel along with a gamesroom, laundry area, outdoor bar and cool curved pool. There are lots of activities to chose from throughout the day like aqua aerobics, volleyball, archery and darts.

We chose a cheaper room which didn't have a pool view. It was basic & could probably do with updating a bit but there was very good aircon so we were happy.

The breakfast is on par with most places in Europe - it could be better. But there was enough choice to make sure you didn't starve.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The drinks prices were reasonable and there was a bar menu.

My biggest piece of advice is take mosquito repellant and use it before you go out at night. I learnt this the hard way and got bitten whilst eating at the restaurant next to the hotel. Tesco do a great spray - I had just forgotten to use it.

Also it took us a while to find the place because the road wasn't recognised by our satnav so it would be a good idea to take a print out of the map. Although there are signs but not always easy to see amongst the rest.

We took a taxi to Protaras for 7 euros although there is a bus that you can get for 1 euro.

Pernera the area has a few shops and a few nice restaurants and bars. It's quite quiet and so if you're looking for something more lively you should take the short ride to Protaras which has a lot more livelier atmosphere.

Very impressed, wonderful place

We chose this hotel after a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. It is a wonderful hotel. Set in a very good location, we were spoiled with a choice of a lovely pool, quieter grass area, or great beach (with crystal clear water) to sunbathe in. The staff are very friendly, and could not do more for you. We wanted a quiet restful holiday, which we certainly had, but there were plenty of activities going on should you wish to be involved. The food was excellent. We were half board, and really enjoyed having our breakfast on the terrace in the morning. The evening meal in the taverna was always delicious, and I am quite a foodie. The setting was also great, looking out onto the beach. We really enjoyed the walk to Protaras along the new walkway, which is a credit to the locals, it is superb. There are some lovely cafes along the walk for a quick refresher. The weather was fantastic considering it was late May, barely saw a cloud all week. We couldnt have asked for more for a weeks holiday in the sun.

It wasn't an awful hotel, but it wasn't brilliant either. The main problem we had with this hotel was that everything costs more, 20euros to use the room safe, 23euros per week for a fridge, 3euros for 9 minutes in the hot tub... you get the picture. There's no internet in the rooms, you have to go to the lobby and the outside pool isn't heated, inside one is in a dark dirty room. towels only changed 3 times a week. For a normal holiday it would have been ok, but we were hoping for something more for our honeymoon.

this hotel is great for families, especially ones coming from the UK. I went with my friend (2 girls mid-twenties) and there was not much entertainment for us here. We loved Cyprus though! There is no beach with this hotel, you have to walk a bit, and even there it is a mini-bay. Grocery store is very close, sells everything you can imagine. Pool was lovely but freezing, although I think the season just opened (mid-April 2009). The hotel food was so-so, sometimes cold and with strange choices. Breakfast was standard continental every morning. We actually walked into dinner a few nights and left because it did not look good. GREAT walking pathway beach-side with restaurants and such on it leads you to Protaras, about a 30 min walk. There are more younger people there, restaurants, night life..etc. Overall, great vacation.

Blown away by this hotel! I booked the In-Land Suite — no beach view, but it was peaceful and quiet. The room was well-equipped with a spacious balcony (sunbeds and table) and coffee/tea facilities.

The buffet restaurant was a highlight, offering delicious and varied dishes every day, with the option to dine outdoors.

The pool area was clean and well-organized, with plenty of sunbeds. The main pool (1.5m deep) was perfect for an insecure swimmer like me. A short walk takes you to a beautiful beach with ideal swimming conditions.

The pool bar served great cocktails made with quality spirits. I also had an excellent back massage in the spa — thanks to Monica!

The entertainment team, especially the two guys running activities and dancing, were fantastic. Staff were friendly throughout. Late check-out was easy to arrange for €55.

A few downsides: poor soundproofing from the hallway, not being able to charge devices such as laptop and powerbanks unless the keycard was in the slot, no complimentary shampoo/conditioner, and poolside fast food could be better.

Overall, a wonderful hotel in a great location. I’d happily return! 😊
