There is no elevator, and my husband has mobility issues; I was told they would switch us to a room without a sea view—even though I had paid for one—and that the room wouldn't be ready for another hour or two, even though it was already 3:00 PM. We had no choice. The room we were given had severe leaks, and on two of the four nights, it rained both outside and inside; this is unacceptable for a room at that price point.

The resort is clean but outdated. Getting the Preferred upgrade is not worth the money. The food is average to poor. If you want a good steak at this resort you will not find that, it is all tough flank steak at every restaurant. The best food we had at the resort was Gohan and Oceana. The french restaurant Bourdeux was not good, food was luke warm.

Most of the staff are very friendly. Francisco the Preferred pool bartender is not very friendly and welcoming. The entertainment staff are wonderful, they try very hard with the tools that they have.

The sun loungers around the preferred pool are in very poor condition, you have to sort through the chairs to get one that the backrest stays up and the bars on the frame are not hurting your backside because the screws are broke on the bars that hold the fabric up and tight to the frame which creates the support.

I visited this resort 7 years ago and it was excellent.
I wanted a fun alcohol shot for my friends birthday, the Bumble Bee.
I had this on my birthday on my previous visit,and was told the staff is not allowed to make these anymore or any other \"FUN\" shot. The only shots you can get are strait shots of Tequila and vodka etc.

After working so hard to save money for a vacation in Cozumel I was very disappointed and will not be back to this resort again which is very sad because the beach and location are excellent.

Everything was very nice. Asian restaurant was the best. Really enjoyed Aaron, he works the activities at the pool. Ivan was very helpful as a concierge and spoke very good English. The beach was beautiful. But if you want to get in water bring swim shoes.

Great property! Incredible staff. Could use an upgrade to WiFi and they try real hard to sell you on joining the HYATT UVC on day one. Was told it would take an hour and it took three. Other than that, everything was great. It’s the staff that really makes it.

Property does need a refurbish.
All employees are well trained, very cordial. Food was good, not great. Beef & pork were both tuff at Bordeaux. Wines were also lacking. House wine was a cabarnet, merlot, chardonnay, & sauvignon blanc from Chile. All '25 vintage. Very young wine ! Especially the reds. Also to adjust the thermostat, you need an engineering degree. Beach is great BUT alot of rocks make it difficult to get in. Seems like a couple of paths could be cleared.

There were 4 rooms for us on the trip. One party had to change rooms twice and another twice due to a/c outages, leaking a/c and bugs. Staff moved us in the middle of the night, with no directions. Management was nearly impossible to speak with, causing us to miss majority of a day because we were told to just wait and keep checking for them to come back. If you're not in a couple, staff ignores you and excludes you from your party. Repeatedly asking the group to go do things leaving the single person behind.

Disappointing - have stayed at other Secrets Inclusive properties, this one neglected. Twice in visit, the elevator was broken. I took the stairs (60 up), because elevator was very small and after it broke, did not trust - stairs had no rails. Room was dirty: dust on ceiling fan and shelf behind the bed, hair balls left in our room (not ours). Walls were dirty, also in need of paint. Big mirror never cleaned, toliet area had molded/rusted trim. Both sinks did not drain well, tub did not work. Housekeeping left one handtowel daily, or none, other days one wash cloth to share. One evening power went out (told it was expected), next morning, there was no hot water. Room TV very small for placement far from the couch, rooms need more drawers. Outside fan did not work. Evening activities were poor, not posted clearly / hard to find. Freg was stocked well with beverages, but everytime the door opened, things fell out. Two snacks provided first day, never replinshed. One coffee cup in our room (again, two guests). We were on the top floor - told their was no ice machine on our floor, needed to go to the bar each day for ice. Disappointed in our meals - poor breakfast pastries selection, no jellies. Mexican night, one line for all food, same line chef prepared the tacos - poor set up. The location of the preferred area is horrible, a long walk through the resort to check in after you arrive? We expected Secrets Quality and Standards - SHAME ON HILTON

The staff at this resort was amazing! They definitely do the best with what they have to work with. The pros ~ the food at Bordeaux was wonderful, the staff at Oceana were always amazing and our room was always fresh and necessities were always plentiful!! Unfortunately, the cons far surpassed the pros to this resort. We never had hot water during our stay with the exception of one morning at 7:00. Several other couples we met during our stay had been relocated to different buildings to accommodate lack of hot water as well. The public restrooms near Windows and also near the Preferred Club Lounge were kept clean but smell horribly of sewage. If you enjoy adult poolside activities and nightly entertainment, I highly recommend you stay elsewhere. We have been to countless all inclusive resorts and have never felt so pressured to make purchases within the resort from staff. I am not sure if this is typical of Hyatt owned properties, but multiple times every day we were approached about paying for something. We enjoyed our week and made the best of what was offered and I hate to give a negative review, but these are things that have definitely deterred me from looking into staying at any other Secrets/Hyatt resort in the future.

The property is very run down. We had to switch rooms because our shower flooded the bathroom. Our coffee machine was broken in both rooms. When asking for things some staff rolled their eyes. There was no top shelf alcohol for preferred guests. Most food was bland. There wasn’t any way to tell if people were preferred guests. Anyone could go anywhere they wanted. We will never go back.

Had to move rooms 3 times. First one at no bathtub, which we requested ahead of time. Second room was by the large pool where you could here the boom boom of the bass through the wall. Ended up spending another $630 to get a room in the quieter \"Preferred\" area. This room was pretty nice. The rooms around the large pool only have a closet for clothes, with just a few hangers. No chest of drawers. Really silly. The preferred room was a bit better for clothes, but still not ideal. This room had a broken A/C, but they got it fixed on day 2. The food at the resort was OK in general, but nothing super flavorful. The snorkeling off the resort is pretty bad. Just a few fish near the pier, otherwise just sand, grass, and the occasional star fish. The 2 Hobie waves were next door at Sunscape, which is under construction. They had no sails, no attendant, and could not be used. Very disappointing. Everyone at the resort was very friendly and very helpful, but some have very strong Spanish accents, and were a little hard to understand. They definitely give you the feeling that they want you to happy, but the only OK food, bad snorkeling, and no sailing will not have me coming back.

The resort is beautiful, staff was very friendly and helpful. Our first room was so humid, the floor was always wet and slippery and the shower leaked into the toilet area; flooding the floor. Clothing and paper were saturated with the moisture from the room. The air vents were filthy and you could see light completely around the door at night from the hallway light. I reported the problems with the room and we were moved to a villa in the preferred area which was much better. The floors are still slippery with any bit of water due to whatever cleaning solution is used on the floors. The stone walkway on the beach is slick in so many places. I slipped with water shoes/sandals on many times, but luckily never fell. We met a woman whose husband had fallen on these stones after arriving and broke his hip (a very young couple).
Despite these things, we had a great vacation. We met so many wonderful people and went on multiple excursions; snorkeling, parasailing, a tour of the island, a very private & romantic dinner on the pier just for us, and visited 2 nearby local food establishments which were both amazing! We felt very safe on the island and the resort.
This was our first trip to Mexico. I suggest using pesos for all purchases. I loved the fact that you can snorkel right off the beach at this resort, however, the coral does make it a bit tricky to navigate your way in and out of the water. The snorkeling is amazing and the sunsets are incredible!

The only negative thing is that I do resent, as a paying repeat customer, having to pay extra to use the pier for my dive boat pickup.

We bought preferred club and it was not worth it. No top shelf liquor. They let anyone use the facilities.
No night activity; very boring. Food was disappointing. I got sick on 4th day from food poisoning.
My first time at Secrets and I was so disappointed. I have never been to a resort that I wanted to leave but this time I did.

I am not one for writing reviews; however, after reading what I now believe to be several unfair reviews in criticism of the resort, I felt strongly about posting regarding my experience. It should be understood that we stayed in room 922, an oceanfront room on the preferred side of the resort. Our bags were taken to our rooms, and check-in was seamless at the preferred lounge where we had drinks and snacks while we waited for others to check in. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and was clean. If we needed something, it was provided. Our air conditioner kept the room cool and dry. We ate at most on-site restaurants, and were pleasantly surprised with the quality and presentation for an all-inclusive resort. We also ordered room service which was timely and really very good. We had six in our group and were always able to find chairs together on the beach and at the pool. The beach was clean, but bring water shoes if you plan on getting into the water. The shore is rocky, and people were struggling a decent amount getting into and out of the water without shoes. I had a massage and facial at the spa, which was fine and relaxing, but would probably skip the spa next time. While all-inclusive, we did tip all staff and servers over the week, which may have resulted in ‘perks’ and more attention along the way. My least favorite was the buffet, but I am in general, not a fan of buffets. Overall, great week and would go again.

The resort is in transition where they are taking what were three properties (A Sunscape that is out of business now, a Secrets, and a Dreams) and making a big Dreams resort.

The spa offered hair services but there was no one to do braids for my wife so she could have them to protect her hair while we were there. We usually try to use the service to give some more business to the resort when we go.

The male night conceierge on Sunday April 20 made my wife feel incredibly inconvenient when she spoke about struggling to find gluten free food to meet her Celiac needs. The asian restaurant had advertised GF options but then said they couldn't help us. Then Eloisa (manager Market Cafe), Victor (Oceana manager), and Gabriel (Concierge) came to the rescue to make sure my wife was well fed.

The beach is beautiful and pools were well kept. There are fish a plenty so bring your desires to snorkel while remaining on resort but bring water shoes to protect your feet. I think when the remodel is complete it will be a very big and beautiful resort. Presently it is an intimate resort with less amenities. In an ideal world they would complete the renovation to Dreams and leave the Secrets alone with ability to use the additional amenities that would result from the Dreams renovation.

The highlight is the staff. Sergio at Oceania was so great. Sergio went above and beyond to make sure our group was well taken care of. Margarito, at the preferred beach/pool, was awesome. Wendy is amazing with all of the activities and keeping energy up, and I highly recommend hibachi with Carlos. Carlos has amazing skills and the food was even better.

Its definitely time for a face-lift.

Very little beer & liquor selection.

Bartenders only doing whiskey or tequila shots. Excuses were to busy to do special shots or drinks.

Not enough chairs and umbrellas on beach.

The only inside bar smelled like urine.

Desserts were terrible. Cheesecake was literally a cake with a piece of cheesecake in it.

I was thankful that we could have access to the dream resort. Great food and atmosphere

We had issues with our room. It smelled like mold. We also had no hot water the first night. The shower was dirty. Issues with the door had a large gap. No cleaning service for 2 days. Took us 2 days to get a different room after telling them again with all the issues not being resolved. Many guest had the same problems. We also had to wait 2hrs to get our room due to not having proper staff. After we were moved to a different room our out stayed improved. The resort is some what outdated but they are in the process of remodeling. The beach was wonderful as well as some of the staff.

Room was clean but overall in worn out condition. We had members in our party with broken AC units and no hot water. Some staff were great, others were not. They did eventually sort the repair problems in the rooms, but it was a hassle to get the staff to take our concerns seriously. Skip the work out buildings/rooms by going with preferred rooms. Don’t get caught up in the membership pitch they hound you with at check-in. The spa was amazing and absolutely worth the extra money! Good at the resort was overall not great but the sushi place is by far the best on the resort. Ocean view was great and pools were great. Just lots of trouble finding anywhere to lay out or sit.

Rooms were clean but need to be upgraded property is in need of maintenance in many areas they classify this property as a 5 star hotel but is closer to 3 star. Staff is excellent. Beach is nice but very rocky to get in the ocean but also makes for great snorkeling.most rooms look to have ocean views. Oceana restaurant good food right on the water. The French restaurant has some of the best food. Didn’t get to try the hibachi restaurant as it is small and requires reservations which were hard to get. Over all not a bad stay they do lack good entertainment for an adult only resort but what they did have was good.

We stayed there for a week with our friends and that was a good thing we were with friends as there was very little entertainment and in the evening your option was get drunk or read a book. Twice 2 restaurants at a time were closed for dinner and that created long wait to get food. Staff was nice and helpful, rooms are spacious however outdated, internet was good in the lobby but scatchy in the room the best part was the beach clean of seaweed and we could snorkel right off the beach.

We visited COZUMEL 2 years ago and was looking forward to staying at Secrets Aura. We were disappointed that food and service has gone down in quality. Restaurants did not have a lot of items tochoose from and guests were relegated to buffet but that can get old. Simple things like amenities and cleaning seem to be challenging to request.

This place has fallen dramatically in quality, and it’s the last time we’ll stay there—after half a dozen stays at Secrets and Dreams in Cozumel. We had the most expensive room in the resort (top floor suite with plunge pool), and things didn’t work, they forgot to clean the room, maintenance requests took three calls, etc. After complaining, they assigned a “guest relations” guy to try to smooth things over. We had four rooms, and one of the kids’ rooms had water leaking from the ceiling with chunks of paint. Avoid this place!!

DO NOT PAY FOR PREFERRED in 16 nights not a single employee checked for any of the amenities that we paid for everyone uses those areas including next door at Dreams. We upgraded to a full ocean view room you could not see the ocean unless you leaned over the balcony. Items in the room were broken had to fight to be moved to a functioning room that we had paid thousands extra for. The food is horrible no flavor and always over cooked. They fed my husband part of a cleaning towel and management shrugged it off like it was no big deal and then he was sick for 2 days. Men are required to be in sleeves and slacks when dining outside and it’s 90. This hotel is pretending to be 5 stars but is a 2. They are in the middle of a remodel, I stayed in 3 different buildings and every one of them I was woken by construction. They plan to shut it down in 6 months for 2 years and do a massive overhaul. I did not meet a single friendly employee who wanted to be there. The beach is beautiful but has large sharp reef just a few feet out which requires shoes. The sand is great in some areas but rocky in others cigarette butts everywhere, and I stepped on a large nail on beach told mgr they did nothing but offer to throw it away. If you are able to find one available all Loungers are ripped or broken. I had a 6ft palm leaf fall directly next to me and watched multiple coconuts fall around people.I could go on but not enough room.

We had a great view of the ocean from our room and our maid keep it clean. Common areas were very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort just needs up dated, it is showing its age. There is definitely a shortage of beach and pool loungers. The food was good but most of the restaurants are only open a few days of the week. You can use the restaurants at the Dreams but expect along wait there. We have stayed at the hotel in the past and it has lost some of its appeal.

The resort is very old, and in dire need of an update. We traveled as a group of six, in three different rooms, and all of our rooms were very dirty. Food options are very limited. Unless you are getting up at 6AM, don’t expect to get a chair on the beach as all are taken. We had people in our group get up by 7am each day; and struggle to find chairs. We were told that this resort would be closed within the next two years for a total renovation. I wouldn’t recommend traveling here until that is done.

Our AC barely worked, even after staff coming to fix it. Housekeeping was great, food was ok, staff was friendly for the most part. But it is lacking a good area to sit in a bar setting... the main \"night time\" bar didn't open until 9pm so if you eat an early supper, you have a couple hours with nothing to do, no where to go other than the tanning chairs, Sky Bar (which fills up fast - limited seating) or your room. Staff are pushy for trying to get you to buy their \"preferred\" packages. Heard from a few people they have let the place go but it was still in decent shape.

Don’t waste your money staying here. Property has an old feel to it with a lot of upgrading needed. The room had to be one of the worst on the property. Only provided 1 chair in the room, graffiti on door lock, had to unplug fridge to plug in coffee maker to make coffee in room, housekeeping didn’t wipe down surfaces prior to us checking into room. Food wasn’t good at restaurants-cold, bland and they ran out of items. And the high pressure to sit through a “membership” sale presentation at the outset was off putting. Was supposed to be 90 minutes and lasted 3 hours. Upgrade promises for Preferred access made a month before arrival were not honored and requested Romance Package of flowers, sparkling wine and fruit (also prearranged) at check in was not done. Worst resort for our vacation that we’ve ever had. Hope this review saves someone else from massive disappointment for how much this place costs.

Except for the beautiful water at the beach, almost everything else about our stay was disappointing. The overall presentation of the property was far from ideal. Our room had several issues, including broken locks and lights, stained bed sheets, and a bathroom that smelled like sewage. The room quality overall was very poor.
The food and restaurant options were also disappointing in both quality and variety. On top of that, there was construction taking place right next to the Market restaurant and the spa area, which made it difficult to relax and enjoy the amenities.
Overall, we are not happy with our experience and feel that it was a waste of money.

Let me start by saying the property is beautiful with great beach views. I stayed at Secrets Playa Blanca Costa Mujeres in Cancun February 2025 and all Secrets are not made equal. This trip I was disappointed in the food. They were limited on the restaurants that were open everyday. Out last night, Monday 2/16, they had 2 restaurants open and lots of people to feed. You have to make a reservation for Hibachi. Were told to do it on the app and it would not allow you on the app and we were always told something different at the concierge and the front desk so we never ate there.
The worst thing is that all of the chairs are taken by 8am on the beach and pools. People put out towels and don’t show up till noon. You should not be allowed to put your stuff out for hours before you arrive. It should be like the cruise ships, if you aren’t there for 20 minutes you would lose your chairs. People will put their stuff out at 7am and not arrive till noon or 1. That was the worst thing. I don’t want to take up a chair all day I just want it for the time I plan on being there. Five others a chance to enjoy the beach. Very inconsiderate and it should not be allowed. The food should be much better for a resort of this caliber.
Ok, I take that back. We leave the resort at 12 for the airport. Packed up and went downstairs to check out and eat and ALL of the restaurants are closed from 11:30-12. ALL! No lunch for us apparently.

Very old resort, worst food that I have ever had at an All Inclusive, and we had preferred room so we had access to Dreams as well and its food was basically the same thing and horrible.
In the last three years we have been to: Aruba, Turks, Jamaica, Cabo, Belize, Florida Keys, Antigua, and St Lucia……all at resorts, and BY FAR this Secrets/Dreams resort was the worst. They litterally had smoke detectors all of the resort going off because the batteries were low and I twice pointed them out to staff and asked them to fix, and they wouldn’t. They were suppose to clean our rooms twice a day, and only once they did that. I can’t say how bad enough this place was.

Wonderful vacation spot! The Resort provided a wonderful Super Bowl Party on the beach with a big screen TV, food and drinks. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms were very clean. Booked a Preferred ocean view swim out room and was told upon arrival to secrets those rooms had all been booked. They said they would not be able to give us the room I booked and gave us a totally different room…they were not accommodating and rude. Preferred room had mold in the shower. Sofa was so gross and felt like it was 20 years old. Had to put a blanket over it to sit on it. Food was as nothing special and house keeping did not provide the quality that Secrets guaranteed. If you wanted a beach lounger you had to get up at 6 am or you were out of luck. I would never stay here again!!!!!!!

By far the worst resort I’ve ever stayed at. First, we arrived at 3:30 and had to wait over a hour before a room was available. The scenery is pretty good but the service and amenities are terrible. Seems that if you don’t want to attend their “loyalty” seminar for premier status they are done with you! Resort couldn’t care less if you are taken care of or happy. Stayed for a total of five days and four nights. Out of the duration of our trip, we didn’t receive towels two days in a row after our room cleaned. Called front lobby to get more towels and had to end up walking up there to get them one day. Food was just okay. Biggest complaint was poolside lounge chairs and pool towels. If you don’t get up at 4:00 a.m. and go put towels or personal belongings on chairs then you don’t get a lounge chair for the day. People save lounge chairs around the pool and even on the beach every morning. Some people don’t even show up to lay or sit in their saved chairs for hours. It’s ridiculous! They should have some type of system or signs posted that do not allow chairs to be saved. If you’re not present then you don’t get the chair. Several people had altercations with others about sitting in their saved chairs because they were not there for hours. Don’t waste your time. There are better resorts on the island for your money!

The trip was good. Like many customers say about Secrets, the place could definitely use some updates. The staff was great and the food was decent. A special shout out to Marcel and the staff at the Gohan Asian restaurant up in the Sky Bar. Amazing food and service. We ate there 3 times. Adiel, Dolores and Rodrigo were all great servers. The hostess was fantastic at arranging a table for 8 for our big group.

I can't complain about the staff, over-all they were all friendly and did a good job.

The maintenance of the ocean view swim out pool was horrible. The water is NOT circulated, the water doesn't reach the skippers and it is NOT cleaned daily. We arrived late Saturday, by Tuesday the pool had lots of debris (leaves, paper, dead bugs, etc) and it I didn't even want to go in the water, which is the main reason for paying for a swim out. It was finally \"cleaned\"/skimmed on Friday.

The buffet was a continual letdown. Breakfast; constantly running out of cooked eggs and bacon. The pancakes were horrid. Lunch and dinner, some options, but only saw pasta on one day... pasta... the cheapest thing you can offer people that most want!

Room was cleaned daily, chambermaid was friendly and did a good job. The person that delivered drinks was great, very generous with anything we asked for.

Overall, the resort needs some updating.... there was paint over mold/dust in places... In all honesty, perhaps a change of management is needed to get this place to where it needs to be. OH, and stop shoving the \"Preferred\" packages down our throats... talked with several people about that... when we arrive at the resort, we're tired, thirsty, hungry! If we wanted the preferred, we'd have booked it, most of us are already at the top of our budget.

The pools are not heated. Very cold. Preferred pool had no steps into pool. You had to climb a ladder in and out. Buffet has depressing atmosphere, extremely limited choices and often empty trays with grumpy service.
The weather was too windy to sit on beach or outside dining and they had no plan B for accommodating guests.
Concierge service provided no help.
But I must give compliments to Avilcar the lobby man and Wendy in the coffee shop.

The resort itself is nice and the staff that works on the resort is super friendly and helpfull. The service was excellent 5 strar. Drinks were great. The food was OK nothing special about it. It was a struggle finding a lounger by the pool. Everyone would claim a lounger first thing in the morning put a towel on it and not use it for 3/4 of the day. I was on vacation did feel like i should be up at 5am to make sure i got a spot by the pool. Definitely could use more loungers by the pool at this resort.

Hello and thank you for asking for our thoughts on our stay,
The room we were led to believe was going to be my wife and I's Honeymoon dream getaway and first vacation together was a serious letdown.
We picked this resort based on the pictures on the website offers of amenities and the what we believed would live up to the Secrets Resort reputation.
Upon arrival everything appeared as described, it was not until we entered the room that there were problems, Room 1117 the jacuzzi tub had broken from the wall and was angled inward and was heavily and poorly caulked with goop, when we turned on the faucet of the tub and it shot out an abundance of grit and metal shards, we tried to clean it up, the tub had no drain plug so we placed the rubber bath mat on top to try and close the drain to fill the tub to try to clean it. After about 20 minutes of water running ,we still had NO HOT water and could only manage to fill the tub with about an inch of water as the tub had no drain and we couldn't get one from the front desk.
The room was clearly neglected and not maintained, and was showing signs of black mold in multiple areas and it had an odor of sewage. Not only had we payed for an ocean view but we received a room way back in the shade viewing the pool... and way in the distance was the ocean if we stood on a chair to see it.
We were determined to enjoy our stay and begged for a room change, we were told this\" might happen\" the next morning and to check back at 10 am the next mo

I have never given a poor review but I feel like others should be informed before traveling so far to a foreign country. The room we booked and payed extra for was not available upon arrival. We were informed that since we booked through Expedia there was nothing they could do to refund our money either, but not until the very last day. We became aware very quickly that the ocean view pool access rooms were actually available but only to guests who paid for their vacation elite package. We sat through their sales pitch for over 3 hrs pressured by several salespeople to give 60 to 100 grand towards this vacation membership! We finally walked away and learned very quickly we would not get our room we paid for.

Overall the resort was nice. The beach was great along with the snorkling right off of the beach. Felt safe at the resort and leaving the resort. Employees friendly overall. Had a room with an ocean view and swim up pool. The outside of the room was amazing. Inside the room, not so much. Room was dated (not that big of a deal) and not cleaned throughly and had a list of items that did not work right away. This included no hot water, ceiling fan did not work, phone did not work, moldly bathmat and tub. Poor repairs had been attempted to the room previously and poor paint job. No way we were using the tub, it was just gross. We were on ground level (2 stories above us) and one night with heavy rain it was pouring through the ceiling in the bathroom. Didn't even bother reporting it because nothing would have been done. But there was a mold smell in the room in general.
I liked the resort, but would not stay there again because of the room and the high pressure sales pitch they put you through as soon as you get there for the timeshares. They are EXTREMELY agressive on selling you on the timeshare or membership, whatever it is, we did not want to hear it and made that clear. We told them we had been traveling for 12 hours and really just wanted to go to our room and relax. The sales pitch continued for another 30 minutes. Conveniently, our room was not ready for 45 minutes after we checked in (which was after 4:00 p.m.).

The staff was very nice and it was pretty clean. The food was very mediocre. One fish dish was inedible. Flies on the buffet and limp cheeses. No drink menu at the bar. The room was very nice, but the grounds had crumbling concrete paths. The trees were well maintained but some of the landscaping had poorly maintained weird plastic edging. The bathroom in the shopping are building was very old. The lobby bar is the only one with seating, unless you are seated in the restaurant. Overall you get what you pay for.

This resort is in desperate need of an upgrade. Restaurants were incredibly limited. I am most disappointed in the fact that I paid for preferred club but it was completely pointless. I had to get up early on vacation to get chairs in the preferred club area, there were non preferred club guests in the preferred club pool or beach area, there were zero extra amenities that justified the additional cost. This resort needs a major overhaul and a more clearly defined area for preferred club guests.
