Positive points : internal parking but limited and your car may be blocked by other residents
Well equipped rooms the furniture was like 5 stars hotels .
Negative points:
The AC doesn't work properly, it was really hot there .
The lady that did the check in knocked our door strongly and told me that i have change the parking of my car i understand but she spoke loudly with me and this was really disrespectful from her .

Best Choice

Very nice and homely B&B, it is only 15 mins walk from Florence city centre. Parking is also available on-site if you inform them about it, they where also so kind to let us leave the car in the private car park after we checked out as we wanted to go for some brunch in town.
The rooms are clean and beautiful looking, we will definitely return as we loved it!

Amazing Service & great location

A great find - we stayed for 2 nights and the owner & property manager are so accommodating. We arrived at 9:30pm and they didn't mind at all. It was safe, clean, and the rooms were modern and comfortable. I would definitely recommend.
I would advise letting them know about dietary requirements before you arrive, for breakfast!

We booked this B&B last minute due to certain circumstance. We were so very plaesed with the quick service, the friendliness of staff, and the property itself. What a beautiful B&B. Sara has done a wonderful job with her B&B - fantastic. Beautiful rooms and good area - away from downtown chaos but still close enough with the tram. She is also very knowledgeable of Florence and had a taxi waiting for me when I had to leave at 7am. Highly recommend Villino Fiorentino!

Villino Fiorentino provided us with a good location in which to base our site-seeing of Florence. Private parking was available in the back of the property - small/medium vehicles only! We were warmly welcomed, and quickly shown our room and the breakfast area, and given the keys (and combinations to the property gate and front door). We were offered a snack and coffee as well. Our room was on the 1st floor, next to the street - it was surprisingly quiet. The room, like most in Florence, is small - and the bathroom smaller (barely enough room for 1 person to stand). The bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was good: cheese, meat, yogurt, cereal, bread, fresh fruit, juice, coffee. They offered can soda for 1 euro (as opposed to most stores charging 2.5 or 3) and bottled water for .5 euro. While there was no one on-site 24/7, emails were answered quickly. We did not mind the 3/4 mile walk into the city, and chose to eat our evening meals at a location away from the touristy area. A train stop is close - just \"around the corner\" from the B & B - if you don't want to walk. The BEST gelato shop is also there - we were disappointed that we didn't \"discover\" it until our last night.

It was great to be further away from all the hustle and bustle of the main part of the city...made it much easier to catch our bus tour to Sienna!

Beautiful place with airy, fresh and comfortable rooms. Small and cozy. Even parking on prem. Our stay felt very luxurious. Area is safe and it takes some 15-20 minutes to walk into the city centre, which is perfectly ok if you arrive with car as driving is not permitted in the centre, so this is as close as you get if you don't want fines.

It was not what we expected and our room did not look like the photo. It was a courtyard suite, but we were basically in a converted garage in the yard not attached to the main building. The carpet was old and did not seem clean, and it was two single beds put together to make a queen sized bed. The room was quite tight with a small bathroom. The breakfast was OK, we ended up eating elsewhere. It is a quick cab from the airport which is nice, but a bit of a walk to the city centre (you can also take a tram, but it's just as fast to walk to most of the main sights).

We spent wonderful two days in Florence.
Hotel staff was amazing.
There is parking in the yard, yet very tiny, you can only fit a small/compact car.
Breakfasts are very family like. Coffee and tea is available all day long.
Hotel is about 20 minutes away from the main attractions in the city, but you can also take a tram to make the walk shorter.
Bathroom is very small, but nice and clean.

We loved staying in the little guest house in the back. It was private and quiet. The breakfast was also good.

Recommend using the tram with stop less than 5 minutes away which will save at least 10 minutes off the walk into the city center.

Marvelous. After a busy and crowded day in Florence, a restful room in this updated B&B is wonderful. It was a small family villa back in the day. The tram is a 2 or 3 minute walk away ( half a block), and just a 10 minute tram ride to SMN train station and central city. The owner, SRa, was most welcoming and full of local info. Highly recommended if a busy downtown hotel is not what you want.. the breakfast was was a fresh start to the day and we enjoyed talwith the other guests. Thank you, Sara.

The smiley lady who checked us in and served breakfast doesn't have enough English to do the job properly. She gave us two cards with restaurant suggestions, the first 1/4 mile away was closed. We decided to try it the next night but found that it was just a deli with a few tables and that it closed at 8 p. m. The second option was one mile away and when we got there we needed reservations. Luckily, for our first night in Florence we finally found a Thai restaurant in the neighborhood. Just imagine: Our first meal in Florence was Thai! Also, the hotel is in a strictly residential neighborhood with no amenities for tourists; eg., choice of restaurants. Some writers have said it is a twenty minute walk to the center, but it is not. A twenty minute jog, perhaps, not a walk. The breakfasts are extremely minimal, not at all proper for a place with a nice room like ours (#6). White bread to toast, maybe some slices of turkey, cheese, or bresciola (but maybe not), maybe some juice if the lady thinks to refill the jug. The breakfast room has only six places to eat, so when all the seats were occupied, late-comers had to wait. The room was lovely but the rest was not.

You truly feel at home here. The room was large, nicely done, and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were fantastic, the bed very comfortable and large! Breakfast was fresh and good and the care with which it was presented was greatly appreciated.
Florence is a very touristy city and it can be hard to walk down the street at times. Lines can be extremely long for attractions. Villino Fiorentino iis a true oasis of peace and charm. A little outside of the center but the tram is very convenient and fast and runs very often. The walk is a good 30 minutes to the center and a good opportunity to see part of Florence you would otherwise not see.
Sarà and the woman who assists with breakfast are both wonderful. I travel a lot and have rarely had such a warm welcome (and send off) and overall personalized experience.
Highly revommend this beautiful bed and breakfast.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our three night stay at Villano Fiorentino. We were greeted warmly by the owner and oriented to the house and city. It is a gracious old property which has been updated and maintained beautifully. We enjoyed breakfast each morning with the other guests. It was served by an equally friendly and informative woman. The house is well located to walk the city, very near public transport which is easy to use, and has secure off street parking. We appreciated and enjoyed the restaurant recommendations (try Fratelli Briganti) and sight-seeing advice. And we appreciated the personal service and friendliness of both the owner and her assistant.

Great b&b in Florence.

It was my first time visit in Florence and first time to stay in b&b in my life. First of all, my room number was #5. When I checked in, there was a staff name Luna welcomed me so warmly with flawless service. All the staff here is amazing! It was a bit disappoinitng that there was no lift so I had to bring all my luggage to 2nd room. Ofcourse one of staff helped me to carry my stuff. My room was not big but it was enough for staying by myself. Modern bathroom with sufficient shampoo and body washes etc,However, as some of guests mention below, the shower both was quite small. I am normal sized of woman but if you are somehow a bit chubby or big body shape, I am pretty sure that it will be troubling when you take a shower. The location is very close to tram(2mins away from tram station) and 15~20mins away from main tourist areas by a walk. The breakfast was great with ofcourse flawelss service by a staff always. Overall, I would like to give 9.2/10.0 score to this place. Thanks for your kind hospitality! It was a great stay in Florence.

Beautiful property within walking distance (20-30 minute walk) of all the amazing things to see and do in Florence. Check-in was a little hectic with lost room keys, readjusting parking, and an issue with the shower door, but it was all worked out. My biggest complaint is the website says the rooms are sound-proofed, but we heard everything- traffic, other guests coming and going and our next-door neighbors getting in the shower. So, bring ear plugs, but otherwise, I would recommend this property.

We stayed in a number of hotels during our trip to Italy and this was our favorite. There was secure parking; the room was clean, quiet, updated and comfortable. We were there during a heat wave and the room was cool. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The trolley to the city is located down the book and only (3) stops to some of the main attractions. I loved Florence and hope to return and I would definitely stay here again.

From the time we arrived until we left we were treated with outstanding service from both Luna and Giulletta who were friendly, courteous and very hospitable. They helped us with maps and directions and recommended wonderful restaurants. The room was just beautiful and spotless. Only 20 minutes walk to the centre and free parking was an added bonus. traveling Europe were to stay here 25-28 arrived at 3pm rang bell no answer called phone no answer tried this for 20 minutes no answer. Drove around the block see if there was another entrance there was none so rang bell again and double checked the address, we were at the right address. So we drove to two more hotels and found a nice one. Now since we so called no-showed the hotel after two tries still will not refund our money for a two night stay in good faith. Even going through Hotels.com. The story Iam telling is the truth the story they are telling is a lie. So everyday for now I will post my remarks just like this. By the way this is the only Hotel in 2 weeks we had problems with and for the people that gave it a 10 Iam glad for the others put your remarks in soon. Thx

Loved this place!!

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here!! This was our first time in Florence, so we weren't totally sure where to stay, but this wound up being a great option. Although the walk is a little farther (about 20 minutes) to the city center, the hotel staff & price make up for it. It is a cozy B&B versus your big chain hotel. The staff were extremely helpful in recommending places to see and things to do nearby. Breakfast was delicious! What really sold us was the free parking that they offered. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants a more relaxed and intimate real Italian experience.

Great hosts, wonderful breakfast and located in a quiet neighborhood away from the tourist sites -- but still convenient.
It's a beautiful property in an old building. I would definitely stay again. Just a warning about the bathroom, it's a little tight, but if you are of normal size you shouldn't have a problem. The women running this hotel are a pleasure to spend time with.

We spent two nights in this B&B. It has been stylishly renovated and our room was very comfortable and had everything you need. Breakfast was a continental breakfast, but lacked some variety because there are only the guests from 6 rooms. The area is residential and it is a taxi ride to a decent selection of restaurants. We had a car and chose this because we could park it in the small courtyard.
The owner was very helpful in terms of helping us with our itinerary and recommended a really good restaurant. Not far from the main station.

Lovely rooms in a beautiful property

Fantastic time in Florence, staying in this beautiful b&b. We were staying in the courtyard room which was very private, had a little kitchenette, all the usual facilities and extremely comfortable and large bed. Breakfast of cereals, pastries and bread to toast, jams and Nutella was served in a dining room in the main property which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would recommend this place to other couples for a short break away. Wifi was good also with a constant connection where we didn't need to sign in again each time. Parking was also available in the courtyard at the back which was very secure, but relies on courtesy of other guests not to block you in.

Very nice room just off the city center

I had a great 3 days at the hotel. The staff was super helpful with tips about the city and the area.
The room was comfortable, good air conditioning (it was so hot outside) and comfortable bed.
I was driving into Florence and i needed a hotel with parking. Villino Fiorentino was a great choice.
Breakfast was classic italian with very good cappuccino at a communal table. We got to know some of the other guests and it was fun.
It is a bit outside of the city center but still walking distance to the main attractions.
I truly recommend this hotel!

Disappointed. Small room and simple breakfast

We were a bit disappointed, we were expecting a hotel for the price we paid, but it was a house. We arrived in the evening and there was nobody to greet us, we were given the code and found our way in. Then, we probably got the worst room (3) which was very very small and right next to the kitchen where other people were gathering and it was a bit noisy. The worst was the bathroom which was really really small.
The breakfast was also very simple with very few options.

Beautiful B&b that was charming

a fair price for beautiful room and place to stay. About 20 euro via taxi to get to main florentine attractions such the David and Uffizi. It is a family home that was purchased in the 1930s by the grandfather if I remember right. Updated beautifully with comfortable beds and coffee, bottled water at your disposal. Being from the Florida in the United States, it gets very warm and I was concerned about the warm Italian summers so AC was a big draw in this hotel for me. It got very cold in our room which I LOVED. The morning breakfast was lovely nothing overtly extravagant but yogurt, pastries, cereal and of course coffee. I was very pleased and it was what I expected.

Overall I would stay here again. Very pleasant staff and helpful. I felt very welcomed and highly recommend.

Lovely B and B with Parking

We enjoyed this spot and thought breakfast was lovely. We are good walkers as it was about a 25 minute walk to the
center of Florence to see the Duomo, Uffizi, etc. We would stay in town all day, relax during lunch, more sightseeing and then dinner around 7 or 7:30. Then the walk back to the B and B which was actually quite wonderful after dinner and also because we had perfect weather, in addition, the walk was quite enjoyable, just strolling in Florence was a treat.

Nice stay a bit outside the city Center

Nice stay, great to be able to park our car inside the courtyard. 25-30 minute walk to City Center. Very clean. Our room was tiny but nicely furnished with a comfortable king sized bed. The water pressure in the shower was very low. No restaurants in the area but Sara had great recommendations for the city Center. Sara and her staff are lovely!

Walking distance to downtown Florence

I met owner and her son. Both are very nice people. Mary, the housekeeper, barely can speak English, but is also nice and kind. It was a wonderful experience and felt like to be home. The room is very clean and the shower place is a little bit too small. Overall I still recommend this place.
