room was well maintained. weather was great location perfect. pool was cold to the point of being unusable. indoor pool and hot tub closed when we tried to use them. buffet was repetitive. we were overcharged for our bill and had a hard time convincing the front desk attendant. quoted 60 euros for ride to airport and ended up paying 70

Went in quiet winter season for a week (end of feb/ start of march) almost everything shut nearby but hotel was fine, staff friendly and helpful. Didn't realise I'd have to pay extra for sauna (10 euros/ hour) but food etc was fine and place was clean.

Amazing Family Friendly Resort Near Nissi Beach

Nice resort. Perfect place to stay if you have kids. Family oriented with the activities they provide. Also has a kids pool and playground on the premises

Also provides night time entertainment for the whole family.

The location is great as it’s near Nissi Beach and the Underwater Museum

Resort also is right on the sea with great views

The breakfast is amazing too. Lots of choice , all yummy

Highly recommend this place if you’re in the Ayia Napa area and have kids.

Family vacation at Aktea beach village

We were at Aktea Beach Village for the second time. We like the hotel. It is close to Nissi beach, about 5min walk. We had half board and changed dinner to lunch, which worked for us even better. Kids like animations, but it really worked only in the mornings. Afternoon animations were much better last time. Still they could.borrow ping pong rackets or darts and play by themselfs.

Pretty disappointed

Even though the area of the hotel premises and the gardens are beautiful the inside of the rooms is very disappointed.. Firstly the rooms smeeled like mold and the aircondition unit has mold on it.... Secondly the furniture, the bathroom, the toilet and the appliances all feel very old and overused.

On the positives: very good location, clean, very friendly staff, €3.50 all-day cocktails at the pool bar, air conditioning worked well, shower had great water pressure. Its very quiet at night, away from the main toad with all the shops & bars and traffic. Pool bar staff, especially the young guy, were fantastic. The girls who clean the tables at the restaurant are very hard-working and very very nice too. All the Covid regulations are reasonably enforced, there are sanitising stations in a few places and everyone wears masks, which was good to see.

On the negatives: there is no way this is a 4* hotel (i’d say it’s an average 3*). Breakfast had no fresh juices and no fresh cooked options (like omelets or pancakes to order), everything was pre-made, diy coffee from the machine, not one day there were fresh pastries or bread. Rooms are ok, but living room beds are extremely hard and uncomfortable, i know it’s probably meant for children, but i sifter mattress would be greatly appreciated by all guests i sm sure. Sliding bathroom door is a joke, it isolate absolutely no sound and so noisy to open and close, it is absolutely useless design. The towels were not in good condition at all, I have taken some photos on the last day, the towels are all grey and so old, the threads are hanging off them… toiletries were most basic (only one universal body/hair wash mounted in the wall) we had better in 2• hotel in Paphos!!!

Well, the property outside is good though no beach . The room is big , the furniture is not of good quality but looks fine except the bathroom. The bathroom is very bad to standard of 4 stars , the towels and sheets are of 20 years old and worth only to wipe the floors. The reception was very helpful to refund our stay coz I could not stay there

There was a musty smell in the rooms,We booked a room with two double bed and one sofa bed,but We were given only one bed and one sofa, also we paid for our dinner Buffet(all inclusive),nobody told us is going to be extra for drinks.
By the way everything else was good, clean outside, nice looking property.

Fantastic location in-between x2 popular beaches 9/10.

Could not be better, cleaners were fantastic 10/10.

Feared the worst because it was cheap but was very surprised with what we got for our money 9/10.

My only slight negative was the food, not fantastic but bear in mind that good food in Ayia Napa is few & far between.

Nice to able to swim in their pool. The beach there couldn’t swim there due to rocky edges unsafe...
We had little ants crawling everywhere. Good thing have fridge to use to store any foods/drinks.

I stayed with my wjfe for 4 nights in Aktea Beach Village. The overall experience is very good. The hotel is 3 minutes walking distance from Nissi Beach. The staff is friendly and always smiling and helpful. Breakfast buffet has many varieties but it lacks a live cooking station. There is a shop on the hotel's premises which i consider very convenient since you can find anything you need at prices similar to the shops outside. The room is clean but you are issued one room key that is used to activate the electricity in the room, so if you are going out you can't for examole charge your laptop or keep the AC on while you are out.

Not what you could expect from 4 star hotel

Expectation was much hire from ė Star hotel.
-It was very cold in the room - possible to heat up with A/C only when special key is inserted (not a card) and only ą key was given to 4 guests.
-Bad smell in the room - was really bad smell in the room from moisture and mold. Even worse in the bathroom.
-Cleanliness and house keeping is fare from what you could expect from 4 star hotel.
-Indoor swimming pool is relatively cold and jacuzzi is the same temperature and the swimming pool. You expect that at least jacuzzi should have higher temperature then 24-25 degree.
-Old and log time not refurbished/repaired facilities. Looks like built 15-20 years ago and never refurbished. Starting from the room itself, bathroom (wall, floor, shower, toilet), indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, changing room, showers, breakfast area, tables cheers etc. All old with lot of heavy signs or wear and tear.

Resort is very clean and a relaxing place, quite in winter but if you visit this place is summer you will enjoy yourself for sure. The studio flat is very clean and nice with all you need for a good break. Will come back for sure during the summer months.

We had a great time in this hotel. It's location is excellent, very close to the famous Nissi Beach, only few minutes of walk to the markets, restaurants, bus station, but not directly on the noisy street. The apartments are nice, the breakfast was good.

Good sized rooms with individual Aircon units. Cooking facilities and fridge included - but the electrics rely on having your single key put in a slot. The problem is you have to take this one key with you when you leave the room - which switches everything off, including sockets and fridge and Aircon. You come back to a hot room and a warm fridge and it means you can only charge tablets and phones while you're actually in the room. You'll need to like a very hard mattress too. My wife and I both had backache and problems sleeping.
The pool is not heated so if you want a warmer swim use the sea - Nissi beach is only 5 minutes walk away along the coast path. There is a warmer indoor pool, but it's in the basement with no natural light.
Food is very average buffet fare.

Ants, ants, ants

To start off the customer service at this hotel is almost non existent. When we first arrived into our room there was 50plus ants around the kitchen and living room.

We proceeded to squish them all and get settled into the room. We then went to speak to the front desk about the situation asking if we could change rooms. We were told there were no other rooms and that they would spray the room while we were out the next morning.

Day 2, wake up to another swarm of ants in the same locations. We leave for the day in hopes that it was dealt with only to come back that evening to see the ants everywhere again.

We return to the front desk and are told that they did spray and clean and that they would try it again the following day.

Long story short the next day they say they did the same thing and yet nothing changed.

I understand that ants are everywhere and can be difficult to control sometimes but when there is more inside your room then outside on the grounds there is something wrong.

We had enough and decided to go stay somewhere else. We contacted hotels.com to see if they could reason with the hotel but they also had no luck.

No compensation, no refund, no care at all that we were not happy.

There are so many other places to stay near Nissi Beach, please take my warning and try somewhere else!

Great location and nice rooms for reasonable price. During our stay most guests were not Russians (If it is an advantage or disadvantage for somebody).
Very friendly and helpful staff, can help you with electricity charger, taxi, bike rent etc.
The only significant disadvantage for us was extremely bad Internet (could not download even Google)

Wonderful 2 day relax in the sun

Over in Paphos for two weeks decided to break up the holiday and spend 2 days in Ayia Napa. Stayed at the Aktea Village beach hotel all inclusive. Position of hotel was wonderful with the breezes coming off the sea. We were the only British couple in the hotel which was wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxed with no drunken people. Food excellent as was the service from the staff both in the restaurant and throughout the hotel. Rooms were big, very well equipped and comfortable. Overall a wonderful experience and will be back in November.

Departing on grey cold December day we arrived at 1.00am after a 4 hour flight delay. Reception were very welcoming directing us to our room. Our party consisted of 7 3 adults 2 seniors and 2 teenagers. The hotel has only studios or 1 bed apartments and we had a total of 2, 1 bed apartments. Being on half board we did not use the self catering aspect which comprising 2 electric rings and amicrowave oven would be adequate to compose a simple meal. Food is OK as much as you want with a variety to suit most tastes. The hotel is close to Nissi beach andthere is a coastal footpath which winds to the harbour at Ayai Napa. The gym is well equipped. The inside (heated pool) is too cold for our tastes. The only downside to the holiday was that 1 adult and the 2 seniors contracted a nasty tummy bug on their last day which caused them some distress. The hotel is in quiet location, has free onsite parking and has free wi-fi in the comfortable lobby. Temperatures were 18-20 centigrade during but dropping at night. we were fortunate with weather.

Hotellet är tyvärr i ganska dåligt skick överlag och rummen känns inte särskilt fräscha. Material som lakan och handdukar höll låg standard och städningen skedde inte varje dag, vilket drog ner helhetsintrycket ytterligare. Däremot var frukosten bra och poolområdena var trevliga. Luncherna man kunde köpa vid hotellet var dessutom prisvärda. Sammantaget finns det positiva delar, men hotellstandard och underhåll behöver förbättras avsevärt.

La piscine extérieure est bien et la piscine pour les enfants est agréablement grande.
En revanche, nous avons été déçu d'apprendre sur place que la piscine intérieure n'était ouvert que l'hiver.
Le buffet pour le petit déjeuner offre un large choix de bons produits.
La plage est vraiment à côté et très accessible (7min avec enfants)

En kund som bott på Aktea många gånger

Denna gång fick jag mycket trevligt och professionellt bemötande vid såväl incheckningen som utcheckningen.
Även denna gång fick jag en lägenhet som var placerad längst bort från receptionen där Wifi-signalerna (som för övrigt är gratis, vilket är en fördel) tyvärr är svaga (vilket är ett problem för mig när jag ska jobba), men denna gång löste de problemet blixtsnabbt!
Servicen och gästvänligheten från medarbetare inom städ, kök och bar brukar vara bra ... och det var den denna gång också!
Hotellets gym är sannolikt det bästa/mest välutrustade hotelgym jag varit på (vilket är en anledning varför jag återkommer till Aktea) ... och jag har bott på många hotell runtom i världen. Även om jag tycker att det faktiskt kan tycka att det är lite för mycket utrustning :-) saknar jag yogamattor och kvastskaft.
Hotellets läge är perfekt för mig då det ligger i ett lugnt och härligt område med krypavstånd till såväl Nissi Beach som Sandy Bay. De ca 3 km in till Ayia Napa centrum ser jag som en möjlighet till ytterligare ett träningspass. :-)

Das Hotel ist sehr familiär, die Bungalows sind prima. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr nett. Der Pool ist groß und sauber. Zwei schöne Strände sind in 5 min zu erreichen, vom Hotel hat man eine tolle Aussicht auf das Meer.

Gutes und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet, sauberer Pool, kleine Poolbar. Freundliches und aufmerksames Personal; tägliches Beach Towel (gratis); Alles ist sauber. Einziger Negativpunkt: Wir hatten je ein Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und eines im Obergeschoss. Im EG kann man nachts nicht lüften, weil sonst Katzen reinkommen. Wir (Familie mit 3 Kindern) würden wieder hierherkommen.

Заселение в отель было указано после 23-00 в связи с поздним прибытием самолёта, но номер не был готов!!! Пришлось в течение часа ждать когда найдут и приготовят новый номер. За это большой минус!!! Питание отличное, свежие и разнообразные фрукты!расположение очень хорошее, пешая доступность ко всем досьтопримечательностям.

L'hotel è configurato come un piccolo villaggio composto da casette circondate da giardini molto curati. Ottima colazione e cena, anche se non adatta a chi cerca menù squisitamente italiano. La pulizia delle camere avrebbe potuto essere migliore per il costo pagato (140 euro a notte)

Detta hotel ligger bara en kort strandpromenad ifrån Nissi Beach som enligt mitt tycke är den bästa av de jag sett på Cypern. Hotellets rum är lite slitet men gott om plats och rent och fint städat varje dag av trevlig personal. Sängarna var helt i min smak, hårda men bekväma, jag sov jättegott! Vi åt frukostbuffe varje morgon som vi var mycket nöjda med. Bastu, inomhuspool och jazzuci använde vi oss av en regnig eftermiddag.
Gott om restauranger på gatan bredvid och som leder in till Aiya Napa. Vi gick den fina strandpromenaden in en dag vilket tog ca 35 min. Hotellet rekommenderas om man inte har lyxbehov.
