Lovely place

A great place to chill out on the terrace.
Alessia and Paola were very welcoming and helpful. Salvatore picked us up and dropped us off in lipari port.
The bus to town is frequent and steps away from the hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay!

Lovely hotel in Canetto

It was so lovely to stay at La Viletta. The place is in canetto which is a short bus ride away from Lipari - there is a shuttle bus that departs about every half an hour, however the hotel organised pick up and drop off on check in and check out. The room itself was nice but the stand out things here were the pool which is kept spotlessly clean, the lovely breakfast and the wonderful lady at the front desk, Paola.
The hotel is walking distance from Spiagge Bianche, a lovely hidden beach with crystal clear water.

Great place to chill

Great place to chill for a short or long period. Staff are like family and the atmosphere is really friendly. The room was really spacious. I had a 1-bedroom in a quiet area of the grounds. Kitted out with stove, fridge, freezer and washing machine. Super pool area with jacuzzi. Beautiful grounds. Great breakfast. Easy to prepare meals in-room. Really well kitted out. A/C worked wonderfully. Only issues were there are a lot of stairs up and down to get either to the breakfast room or out the door. If you have mobility issues, let them know. I had 82 stairs up to breakfast. I would have stayed longer, but Wifi didn't work in the room at all and neither on the terrace. I tried from 3 different rooms and really only worked well near the breakfast area. It was an issue for me. I would have stayed longer because it was such a great place to work on your terrace. Also very convenient to the bus that goes into Lipari every 20 minutes. Very convenient and decent restaurants and supermarkets close by.

Mixed!

Nice place with big, clean apartments, great views and friendly staff. Enjoyed the terrace with sea view, good value overall.

Not sure if it is really up to 4 stars though - the breakfast options are rather limited, and not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel, furniture and bathroom rather dated, the shower regularly went cold after a couple of minutes, the hot tub wasn't warm enough (yet, probably - we visited in May). Reception was often closed even during the day, the fitness machines in the gym were off without any explanation provided on how to use them.

Canneto is a nice place - the beach which we haven't tried but looked ok and seems to be its main attraction - but I don't recommend staying there unless you rent a car or a scooter. There is a bus to Lipari which has much more choice in terms of restaurants (and the port of course) but the last one is around 8pm already and taxis are not cheap at around EUR 15 each way.

Nice apartment with lovely view

We totally enjoyed our recent stay at La Villetta and our only complaint was that we didn't stay longer. Paola the manageress speaks good English and was a warm, welcoming lady. The apartment was a welcome stay after hotel rooms as it was spacious and there were two balconies with wonderful views over the ocean. An Italian breakfast is supplied on the pool bar level. The pool and grounds were well maintained and lovely. Thank you LaVilletta!

Wonderful hotel

It's a fantastic hotel, you have your own little apartment with kitchenette and all mod cons! Staff are superb and Paola made her best to make us feel like at home. The panoramic view over the beach is simply amazing and it's also near the beach itself!! I will go back for sure one day!

Unbelievable Experience

Wow!, what a place. Far better than we expected. Staff were fantastic as was location and facilities. The pool, gym and jacuzzi area is fantastic, with wonderful views of the sea. Oyur room was excellent, much better than expectd, with a lovely patio for outdoor eating and views of the ocean. Would definately not stay anywhere else on Lipari.

Can't wait to go back

My husband and I were very pleased with our room. Easy to find, a block from the beach, great breakfast, very celan and the staff was friendly & helpful. Between a mix of Italian & English we had no problems communicating. We will definitely stay at La Villetta every time we go back.

Nice hotel, but not very central

This hotel offers a very good comfort. However, it is not situated in the main village of Lipari, but in the neighboring village. It takes about 30 min by foot to get there. Therefore you should rent a bike or a car to get around.

Villa on Aeolian Island!

Staff was very friendly but did not speak very much English but the room was incredible for the price. Beautiful view of the water and islands from the balcony, pool, free internet, breakfast, and they gave us a free ride to the ferry station. Be sure to rent mopeds down the street!

Wir hatten ein Standard-Studio gebucht und ein kostenloses Upgrade füf ein 2-Zimmer-Apartment mit 2 Terrassen bekommen. Die Küchenzeile war gut ausgestattet, so dass wir mehrmal selbst gekocht haben.
Die Anlage ist mit dem öffentlichen Bus gut erreichbar und es gibt in unmittelbarer Nähe einen Supermarkt.
Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt, Zimmerreinigung erfolgt alle 2 Tage.
Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und außerordentlich hilfsbereit. Wir haben kostenlosen Transfer von und zum Hafen bekommen und durften am Abreisetag unser Apartment ohne Aufpreis bis 15 Uhr behalten, das war wirklich sehr entgegenkommend.
Wir würden das La Villetta sofort wieder buchen und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist allerdings nichts für Menschen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität, da es sehr viele Treppen gibt.

God kontakt med hotellet på forhånd, raske svar og god hjelp! Et hotell som var nær flyplassen og passet oss som skulle reise hjem dagen etter! Spesielt fint rom for oss, med boblebad og terasse, rett ut til basseng! Noe vi ikke fikk bruk for da vi kom sent på dagen og skulle dra etter frokost! Frokosten var god, selv om det var lite brød, mye «pizzabolle»-lignende og søte kaker! Youghurt og frukt er alltid godt, og her var varme små pølser, bacon og eggerøre!

Belle conception que cet hotel accroche a la montagne a 100m de la mer. Les appartements disposent de terrasses individuelles. Tres fonctionnel , très propre, l'ensemble est géré par Paula, chaleureuse, accueillante et très pro.. Elle parle Français.Bon rapport qualite/prix. Excellente base de départ pour des excursions dans les îles à partir du ponton de Canetto à 500m, ou du port de LIPARI à 10mn en bus.

Très bon séjour d'une semaine. La résidence est à 2 pas de Canneto très bien pourvu en commerces, services et restaurants. De plus il y a une plage de galets à moins de 10mn de marche en grande partie par un chemin piéton. Le service et l'accueil de La Viletta sont très bien.

residence con vista mare stupenda

gentilissima la reception, colazione abbondante e di qualità con Paola simpatica che ci accoglie. Gli appartamenti sono distribuiti sul versante mare, raggiungibili con scale. Hanno tutti terrazze su cui si può mangiare ammirando il golfo di Canneto. Servizio di shuttle dal/al traghetto.

nice place for price paid, need scooter to be able to go around. bus available but scooter highly recommended. good breakfast for italy- more than just cookies :) room cleaned every second day- no issue- AC worked perfectly. wifi didn't work so well.

Très accueillant, belle vue.

Bon accueil, bel endroit. On peut s’y rendre du port avec un petit bus, dernier arret de Canneto. Pour les personnes qui ont des difficultés avec les marchés cet hébergement est à éviter. Les resto sur Canneto ne sont pas au top, Lipari est préférable.

La consiglio a tutti va oltre ogni aspettativa, sembra di essere in una grande famiglia. Tutti sono gentili e cordiali, il posto è stupendo, c'è l'imbarazzo della scelta. Da precisare che basta fare il nome dove si alloggia che la gente oltre essere cordiali di loro si mettono completamente a disposizione.

Underbara La Villetta.

La Villetta är ett utav de mest fantastiska ställen jag bott på. Allt var verkligen på topp, till och med frukosten under citronträden. Att den dessutom kompletterades med underbara Paola var ett extra plus. Man bör dock vara medveten om den branta backen upp till hotellets entré och därefter trappor till rummen som ligger utspridda utefter bergssidan. Men - varenda svettdroppe är värd priset man får, när man ser den vidunderliga utsikten från sin egen terrass. Grattis alla ni som bokar det här hotellet! Själva kommer vi tillbaka om ett år.

Eine Oase am Canneto Beach

Eine Oase am Canneto Beach die von Paola und Ihrem Team super geführt wird. Tolle saubere Unterkunft mit zum großen Teil Meerblick vom Balkon. Frühstück für Italienische Verhältnisse sehr gut, so das auch ich herzhaft Frühstücken konnte. Sehr gute leise Klima, ein schöner Pool und den besten Cappuccino am Morgen von Paola.
