V good overall but give self service cafe a miss!

Outdoor area such as pool etc very good, my son really enjoyed. The food is where it lets itself down. I wouldn’t return to the self-service cafe next to pool - really disappointing. However, breakfast was fantastic. Omelettes with whatever you want made on request. Room service would be a nice addition as would a games room.

The baths and spa were great and our kids and us had an amazing time floating in the lazy river, going down the water slides, and enjoying the grass park area.

The hotel was ok. We stayed in one of the family apartments and I think I’d have actually preferred to stay in the actual hotel. First of all our check in wasn’t till 4p when Expedia said 3p and that was frustrating. And then once we got into the unit we got a whopping 1 cup of coffee which wasn’t great.

I think we’d go back here but change some things next time.

Excellent place to stay as a family wanting to explore local ski resorts. Fantastic breakfast, pools, spa and fast river a massive hit with all. Only slight and minor query is the food for dinner was good but a touch limited for kids.

We had a great stay, both kids and adults. Stayed for four nights. Food, cleaning, equipment everything was great. We went to Charmonix for one day - can strongly recommend and to the the small old village where we climbed the castle and had lunch - beautiful. And best of all - water in the pools were warm and nice! : )

Nice place for a few days' rest

The hotel is gradually coming back to full functionality - the pools were very pleasant and whilst the hotel was full, it did not feel you had to queue or too crowded. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Awful experience. Not the the hotel pictured.

My wife’s and I are architects and were excited to stay and experience this amazing hotel design only to get there to be located in an old wing with a absolutely under standard room. A room with no AC and no way to ventilate the room. We tried to open the window for a minute and realized there was no window screen to protect from mosquitos. We then spent 1 hour killing them.

When we got to the room we reported this problems and the fact of the sink in the bathroom being broken.

There was no direct access to the room. You had to take the elevator and then go through sets of stairs. A maze.

We reported all of this to staff to see if we could get relocated to the newer area of the hotel. The only reason we booked it. They told us with no interest to solve any of our issues that we should have research their website to find out the specifics of the room!!! it was because we did the reservation though hotels.com What? Like they don’t get paid if I book though Hotels.com, don’t they define what si shown in Hotels.com?

Then the bed. There wasn’t any queen in the bedroom. Just to small beds attached together.

We are not dissatisfied, we are pissed. We spent 300 dollars to stay in a room full of bugs, a bed I could not get close to my wife, a broken sink and a smelly old room.

One night ONLY, but is was SUPER. Great night's sleep, Super meal in the restaurant and the pools were great. The day we were leaving, reception was very helpful. We were given new armbands and so could still use all the spa facilities !!!

The rooms are nice and Comfortable with a nice smell of wood inside. The building is part of the thermal complex which is quite big. Do not expect a very personal service in this hotel but if you go there to use the thermal facilities it is quite convenient except the last day where you can’t use the hotel guest entrance but need to use the normal entrance so need to organise yourself differently.
Breakfast is ok.

Relax at the Spa.

Nestled in the Rhone Valley about 15 minutes from Martigny, this Hotel is a perfect weekend stop for busy executives and business people. Relaxing at the spa and working out will be the main activities. Food is also very good at a choice of three restaurants. Breakfast buffet is sumptuous! Enjoy!

Great hotel for a spa day

This hotel is great with 4 types of restaurants, huge thermal and wellness area. This time our room was spacious with views over the mountains and with a huge bathroom (very rare). Quiet and clean. The restaurants have more and more food choices for people with food allergies. Their gluten and lactose free pizza was excellent. The sauna and steam bath are nice and spacious.

Need a rest and a relax, this is the place.

If you need a rest and some TLC this is the hotel and spar for you. The place is spotless, the staff helpful and efficient. All works on the wrist band you are given so no keys and no money required. There are some lovely villages around to eat at but the food in the hotel is good as well. Only one complaint and that was there is very little shade round the outside pools. They need to provide umberellas. Other than that, excellent.

The dinner was great, they have several types of restaurants in the hotel.
Our room was very small though and the ceiling was very old. The parking lot is small with limited spaces.

feeling of well being missing in restaurants

My room was in the new part of the hotel and very nice with a terrace looking onto the pools. The wood pannels on the floor, walls and terrace was beautiful. The saturday evening environment in the brasserie restaurant was like in a stressed business canteen, with people/servers running around, a very noisy environment including many background noises from the kitchen and customers lining up, crammed and blocking the passage in the small entrance hall for the second service. The food however was good and our server kept her head cool and was diligent.

It was my first time in Switzerland and first time here at this hotel. From the moment I checked in staff were polite and very courteous. I ended up staying an extra night due to the fact I was very well treated. I truly recommend this hotel not only for the beautiful grounds and relaxation pool area but, for the kindness of staff and well maintained hotel. Hotel staff spoke English very well and of course French. The housekeeping staff were trustworthy and did an excellent job cleaning our room. The spa is wonderful and very relaxing. I found it helpful there was a hair salon and nail place on premises and store that carried a bit of everything.

Excellent petit dejeuner avec beaucoup de choix et des produits de qualité : oeufs cuits et approvisionnes a la minute, cereales, viennoiseries, fromages locaux excellents et charcuteries locales, fruits, yaourts...
L'acces à la piscine (claquettes et peignoir fournis) à env. 30deg et aux bassins thermaux (et sauna hammam) est un plus indeniable : toujours tres agreable de pouvoir s'y baigner des 8h ou le soir en arrivant.
Attention pour les francais : les prises electriques avec terre ne fonctionnent pas en Suisse ; il faut un adapteur ; pour les prises sans terre (type chargeur de telephone), pas de probleme en revanche

Seul point negatif : les chambres sont trop chauffees, pas de thermostat et il faut donc dormir la fenetre ouverte (un peu idiot d'un point de vue environnemental

Un peu de travail d'entretien devrait être fait dans les chambres de l'aile plus ancienne.
Les chambres sous le toit (1ère catégorie) n'ont qu'une lucarne et sont peu lumineuses. Ok pour une nuit, mais pas pour un plus long séjour.
Bon repas au restaurant le soir (chasse), service agréable.
Plusieurs piscine.
Dommage qu'il n'y ait qu'un accès extérieur pour aller des piscines au sauna-hammam, c'est pénible quand il fait froid...
Agréable rivière d'eau chaude.
Privilégier les jours de semaine et la journée, quand il y a moins de monde.

Personnel très sympathique, que ce soit à l’accueil, à la piscine ou au restaurant. Mention spéciale à Rachel, très agréable et professionnelle. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et variés, un vrai plus pour bien commencer la journée.
L’hôtel, bien que propre, commence à montrer quelques signes de vétusté. Dommage également que les piscines soient ouvertes à tous : une piscine réservée exclusivement aux clients de l’hôtel serait un vrai atout selon moi. Mais cela reste mon avis personnel.

This experience was awful. We received a room which looked like the 1970s, for an outrageous price. The facility didn't offer what it promised, the slides were off and so was the kiddie pool. Upon arrival our receptionist did not speak english and didn't even speak German it was awful. The Waiter was extremely unfriendly asked if the time we wished to have dinner we said 18:30 and asked about 5 min later if 19, would be possible because we notice it was already five. He replied no!!?? He said he had a group of 20 people!!! I myself has Gastro experience, the other tables are not the guests problem we were two people. To make matters worse we had a Family Emergency and had to leave. We asked if it would be possible to pay the night, they answered No and DEDUCTED 770 FR for absolutely nothing,we didn't even stay one single night just awful, greedy facility.

Accueil non chaleureux

Le personnel de l’accueil s’est montré froid et hautain. Lors du check-in, la personne en charge ne nous a pas informés qu’il sera nécessaire de changer de bracelet pour accéder aux bains le jour du départ. Ainsi, on nous a remis un bracelet à entrée unique/sortie définitive. Avec ce bracelet, l’accès se fait par l’entrée classique des bains, et non par celle réservée aux résidents de l’hôtel comme durant le séjour.

Cela a posé problème, car nous avions déjà déposé toutes nos affaires dans les casiers du côté réservé aux résidents de l’hôtel. Nous avons donc dû tout déplacer, ce qui aurait pu être évité avec une meilleure communication. Lorsque nous avons signalé ce manque d’information à l’accueil, aucune excuse ne nous a été présentée pour ce désagrément.

Côté positif, le petit-déjeuner était excellent, avec des produits de qualité. Le personnel du restaurant et les femmes de ménage étaient très sympathiques, à l’inverse du personnel de l’accueil.

Nous avions une chambre mansardée. Bien que fonctionnelle, elle était petite et rapidement étouffante à cause de la chaleur. De plus, le frigo du mini-bar ne refroidissait pas correctement.

Eigentlich alles super. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und haben auch sehr gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen.
Es gibt nur ein kleines Problem, dass stört mich sehr. Und dass sind die Hunde, in den Zimmern und im Restaurant!

Der Aufenthalt war bis auf eine nicht berechtigte und mittlerweile zurück erstattete Belastung sehr gut. Die Hinterlegung der Kreditkarte muss dringend überdacht werden, da anscheinend jeder Angestellte darauf zugreifen und diese illegal verwenden kann ohne das gängige Vieraugenprinzip in einem Unternehmen. Ich warte noch auf eine Stellungnahme der Geschäftsleitung.

Etions accompagné de notre animal, il est accepté en chambres, au restaurant, même une petite attention pour elle.
Les termes sont très agréable, dommage la partie sauna pas un peu plus qualitative ( animation type Aufguss par exemple, sel pour peeling dans le Hamman ) mais c'est des détail pour progresser ...

Pas trop de monde donc les bains ne sont pas bondés et l on en profite avec plaisir dans un cadre magnifique avec les vignes et la montagne en 1er lieu

Petits déjeuners très bons, avec divers buffets, du local et une station à omelettes fait à la demande
Attention : les prises électriques n acceptent pas les prises avec terre type prise de PC (légèrement trop grosse pour être enfoncé). La 1ere fois que ça m arrive en Suisse

Tres joli hôtel, la chambre double deluxe eat spacieuse, avec une grande salle de bain et grand balcon egalement. Chambre tres propre. Le petit dejeuner est délicieux et varié. Le restaurant propose un choix assez vaste de repas avec des peix variables. L'espace piscine est assez agréable aussi.
Seul bémol, les chambres n'ont pas de climatisation, il peut donc faire assez chaud à l'intérieur, ce qui n'est pas très agréable.

Séjour en famille très agréable. Hôtel et infrastructures adaptés aux petits (et aux grands). Personnel très accueillant et serviable. Petit déjeûner buffet copieux. Points négatifs : les douches des bains étaient froides ce jour-là. Petite déception côté restaurant : pizzas de qualité moyenne vu le prix, salle bruyante (on nous avait mis côté enfants).
