New and modern hotel, but it was not an enjoyable stay. We were forced to choose between not sleeping due to the overly warm room, or not sleepong due to the noise of the trainyard. The rooms need guest-controlled air conditioning. The location was easily walkable to the train station, but was far from dining options and isolated after dark.

The hotel and staff were great however when we stayed it was exstremly warm 31 deg C. The rooms do not have air con and the only thing we could do was open the window whichthen meant our room would settle at 31 deg C. As it was cooler on the night we left the window open but we got a lot of noise from the train station. All in all yes we would stay there again as the staff were great and hotel spotless.

I get the idea behind the hotel…but poorly executed. It’s kind of a semi-brutalist interior design, with splashes of neon. A “green” hotel…great! The rooms have no AC, supposedly compensated for with the solid concrete walls, automated window shades, etc. The rooms still get a little stuffy by the afternoon. The most head-scratching thing though is the rooms have a nice modern digital thermostat controller on the wall. Nice fancy display, fully activated screen…but it does NOTHING because there is no AC. Turn on the AC settings all you want, it’s just wall-decor. Why??? The front desk staff were super nice and accomodating. Nice bed, rooms decently appointed. The on-site restuarant staff put on airs befitting food much higher scale than it is. Don’t gets wrong… it’s good food, but not thaaaat good. Priced way too high. Servers very inattentive and snobby…like you were putting them out just asking for the bill.

Lovely stay in mARTigny Hotel

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. It was easy to find and had free parking onsite. It is a relatively short walk into the pedestrian shopping zone. It appears to be a brand-new hotel and well done. We loved the art theme; each room is named after a different artist. The room was clean, comfortable, and easy to access by elevator. There was a coffee service and refrigerator in the room. The bathroom was top-notch, and the shower was excellent, hot, and strong. The room was quiet, and the electric shades were great if needed to block out light. We did not eat there, but the menu posted looked great. We had wine at the bar, and it was a pleasant atmosphere. The hotel appears to hire \"disadvantaged\" adults in the dining/bar area, and it was appreciated. My only negative comment is that the hotel affixed our hotel room number on the key card with a label that seemed to be a security failure. If I unknowingly had lost my keycard, the potential thief could have just gained direct access to my room! Please remove the room labels on the key, a big no-no for security!

We chose this hotel for it's closeness to the train station (about an 8 minute walk that was quite confusing initially), since we planned trips to Chamonix, Montreux and Zermatt. There is a small strip mall a block away, with a grocery store, so we could stock up on snacks and soda. The hotel is currently in an open area, so there's no city noise and you can barely hear the trains going by. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was impeccably clean.There is a small refrigerator, but no coffee maker. We chose not to have the breakfast, but you can get a good cup of coffee in the bar area. The main part of town beginsd at the train station, so it's very convenient to walk around and there are plenty of restaurants, bakeries and so on nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A lovely hotel on the outskirts of Martigny

A very decent hotel. A little away from the town centre but as we had a car we didn’t mind. Clean, functional, modern design. Very informative and friendly staff. The girl at the reception could not be any more helpful. Breakfast was also very good. It was a perfect stop over on our way to ski. The nearest ski area was around 15mins drive away. Loads of attractions in the region, so we will definitely be back in the summer to check it all out.

Nice stopover in a great location.

Ordinary area near train station, however close walking distance into the town about 15 minutes max . Hotel was nice and new and very comfortable but the colours of the interior walkways were hideous limegreen a bit confronting .Breakfast was lovely in a beautiful Conservatory breakfast area, very delicious. The staff were pleasant and friendly.

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern! You really need a car to get to, but it was a good value. Staff was friendly. We did not eat at the hotel as we arrived too late, but the dining room was packed. Wish they offered breakfast a bit later than 9:30 on the weekends. Overall it was good, and a far better value than nearby Montreux...with a nice Mountain view.

New hotel with startup pains

New hotel with great shower. The second day I had to get 2 new hand towels that had gotten dirty and were just refolded and put on the rack. The breakfast buffet was good the first day, but the 2 following days the food kept running out and the staff had to be called to refill. Dinner menu was extremely limited and high priced. Local restaurants were better. The wine in the bar was good and the people behind the desk were friendly. Valerie was especially helpful when we first got to the hotel. She check us in, explained the parking, restaurant, served drinks in the bar when the bartender was not present and immediately replaced the towels that were dirty. If it were not for her we would have given the hotel lower marks.

Brilliant hotel - convenient for station not town

Everything about this new hotel itself was very good or excellent. The room was comfortable, well-equipped and properly functioning. The staff were helpful and friendly and responded to messages left for house-keeping. The Wi-Fi worked well (didn't test the TV). The restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner. Ideally there might have been some \"wellness\" facilities, but it's not the obvious location for a spa hotel. Even the \"art\" aspect of the hotel worked well - it introduced me to an artist whose work I knew only a little. The only aspect that doesn't get top marks is the location. It's 5 minutes or less from the station by foot (which is what I needed) with a convenient route once you know it, but this is literally on the \"wrong side of the tracks\", away from the town centre and in quite an odd area (is it farmland, is it a trading estate, is it a housing development?).

Beautifully designed and peaceful place to stay.

This Hotel was very reasonable with its prices compare to other hotels i thing this hotel was new and quite well designed with its spacecous and comfartable rooms.

The hotel is just based in the middle of Martigny Town and it is walking distance from Martigny train station from Martigny train station you can get train to Geneva Airport if you want to go for skiing you can get also on train to travel Verbier ski resolts.

Very modern hotel with an excellent restaurant and well positioned for the area. Pioneering (for Switzerland) scheme in using mentally handicapped staff alongside the regular staff which I personally think is great. They were all polite and showed they wanted to do the best they could for the customer - well done and long may this initiative continue and flourish at other establishments.
My only negative was the bedrooms all being 23-24 degrees (in our small group) which is way too hot for me for a good nights sleep. We couldn't get any regulation on this because they use a form of eco energy which does for the whole hotel. Leaving the window ajar was the solution for us (-12 outside overnight) but made for a better conditions but seems wasteful.

The hotel appears to be brand new. Very modern. Spacious rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. The area itself is a bit small for my taste but that's the town, not any reflection to the hotel. We walked a ways to get dinner but there aren't a lot of choices within 10 min of foot. The hotel seemed to have a big restaurant but didn't dine there.

I want to come back to stay in this hotel. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, the room was clean, new, and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The design and art theme is also one of the nicest additions to a hotel that I've seen. Also, they work with charitable organizations and help employ local people with disabilities.

I was travelling to Spain on my motorcycle and stayed for one night. The hotel is a little difficult to get to and I was using my GPS. I ended up accessing via a pedestrian walkway to get to the other side of the train station. Staff were great. Room was good. Restaurant is better than usual even though my order was mixed up. I enjoyed the place and would return.

Booked almost by mistake, since it had very few photos on Expedia. Worried because it does not show on Google Earth or in Street View (this is because it only opened end 2015).
Arriving there it was a most happy surprise: new, chic, high tech, high quality everything.
Easy parking.
Elegant lobby, decorated with authentic Roman pieces.
Kind and warm reception staff.
Lift with security device requiring room key to operate.
Each room is dedicated to an artist. Our room was dedicated to Botero: decoration included prints of his paintings and there was a book on his work.
Elegant room. Nice bed. Nice lighting fixtures. Nice bathroom with premium fixtures. Power outlets where needed.
On top of this a most noble purpose of employing people with disabilities. An experience comfortable for body and soul that we strongly recommend to anyone visiting Martigny.

The hotel is being operated by people with disabilities and they make sure you feeling welcomed. The authenticity of the place brought a feeling of extra warmth to my stay. Very comfortable place stuffed with art and artistic anecdotes and altough a bit eccelctic in style it comes together very naturally. Thank you.
