For Verbier this represents very good value . Situated in outskirts of town but a 15 min walk or 5-10 min. Us ride to main Medran lift. Buses come about once every 30min and stop at 8pm. We rented ( and stored ) skis next to Medran lift so it was easy… other guests were happy to schlep skis to and fro

Wonderful stay. Staff is amazing. Bathroom is pretty outdated and the quality of the mattress and bed linens could do with an upgrade. We stayed in a suite which was very spacious. Balcony view over the mountains is stunning.

Our stay in Verbier at The Monpelier Hotel was fantastic. Beautiful area, nice, calm and quiet in the off-season (we stayed 2 nights at the beginning of July 2024. We booked Hotel Montpelier for our ski holiday. It was located conveniently near the town square and a one minute walk to tge bust stop. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast quality and selection. The premises were clean and tidy. The only issue we experienced was that the rooms got very warm during the night. We would open the window, however as our room was street facing there was some car noise. However, overall it was a great stay!

Our stay was fantastic, the staff at the hotel are all very friendly and helpful. Having gone there during these COVID period, the hotel did an outstanding job of serving the buffet breakfast in a very safe and enjoyable manner. We stayed with our dog and the cleaning staff did an excellent job cleaning our room. The view is amazing, the staff is there to always help in any way they can. We will be back again hopefully soon!

I loved this hotel ! We spent three nights there whilst visiting my son. The staff are amazing. So friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The views from the pool were breathtaking. I especially loved the sauna and the water jets in the pool. Very relaxing after a long day on the slopes. We appreciated the boot warmers in the Ski Boot room. The reception area is very welcoming and the main lounge area has wonderfully comfortable chairs and cushions. Breakfast was well-presented with plenty of choice . I loved the back garden area and the views. Our room had a balcony with views towards the distant mountains. It had everything we needed, including a hairdryer and fantastic bathroom. I will definitely return to Hotel Montpellier !

Great facilities, cleanliness and facilities. Staff extremely helpful and friendly and the location was great for picking up the ski bus which takes about 5-10 mins to get to the main Verbier lift.
On site ski shop is great though it would be great if this was open a bit earlier than 4pm in the afternoons.

I loved the location, the view of the backyard, and the friendly staff. I think they could improve by adding more variety to the food offerings in their breakfast buffet, also maybe adding more plugs at the rooms for charging devices closed to the bed.

Located on outskirts of the town but very close to bus stops and buses are every 15 mins during the day. Benefit is that hotel is very quiet - if you want night-life and busy place this isn't for you. Fantastic views and room spacious. Good breakfasts but no restaurant for evening meals and few nearby which is a downside. There was a fridge/ sink area in the room but no cooking facilities or crockery etc so eating-in is not that simple. You need to go into town to eat and buses stopped at 20:00 hours so.......

Loved my stay, wonderful location, Great ski support (Thomas in the ski shop was very helpful,) and and having dry boots every morning was really nice! NIce pool and sauna\steam rooms too. My single room was a bit small, but hey, it was a single and not many hotels offered them. Great place to stay for a ski vacation, great breakfastm, KIDS are welcome and are sure to hae a good time.. KUDOS.

Hotel sits on the edge of the town which is nice and peaceful. Room was very spacious with a nice balcony. Furnishings are a bit dated but certainly not uncomfortable. Great breakfast. Plenty of fresh choices. Amenities were wonderful - tea/coffee, fridge, sun lotion, water bottle and loads of bath products. And, they provided us with a tourist pass with significant savings on the lifts to the mountains for hiking. Overall, highly recommend.

4 Star Hotel at 3 Star Pricing!
Great, clean, well-managed hotel close to shops, grocery store and bus stop. We usually stay at 5 star hotels. This hotel met our expectations and beyond. The bonus was a cute kitchenette that was not mentioned in the room description. We had a 3 bedroom apartment, balconies on both sides with a mountain view and two full washrooms. Excellent service! Be sure to tip well as the hotel folks deserve it! Thanks to Clement for his attention, great spirit and welcoming attitude. A lovely full breakfast package was included for our family of four in their dining room with great mountain views! Great savings!

The rooms are big enough but from our experience, the carpets should all be replaced with hardwood. We both woke up with coughing and at least one other guest confirmed, that he, too, felt the carpet was making him sick.
Hotel is older, the pool only accessibly by crossing through a parking garage. Overall not recommened because of the health issues we encountered. We'll reconsider if the place remodels or changes at least the old carpets.

Had such a lovely stay. The views were superb! Lovely big room and the breakfast was excellent. Easy to walk to the main shops. Only downside was the heating needs to be regulated a bit more - was too hot and had to have the door open at night. Apart from that would definitely recommend staying there. Very friendly and helpful staff.

It was so good to stay here. A very kind reception staff printed free VIP pass for us to take a cable car(For guest). The hiking course was so fantastic and flat, very good for my 7 yrs old boy. Every facilities are well maintained.

A lovely hotel with big rooms (pay a few quid extra and get a de luxe suite, it's worth it), absolutely delightful and helpful staff, only 100 metres (yes honestly) from the free shuttle bus that runs every 15 minutes. We had a brilliant stay and wouldn't go anywhere else in Verbier from now on.

4 star standard at a 3 star price
This is a great hotel, located less than 10 minute's walk from Verbier town centre, perhaps 15 minute's easy walk from Medran. Generous breakfast buffet was included in our rate. There's a 24 hour reception staffed by cheerful and helpful staff; a small (quiet) bar; and a burger bar with a very limited range (4 choices) of delicious burgers open Wednesday to Sunday (possibly changes seasonally so check with the hotel). Rooms are very comfortable, bed was especially good, and housekeeping was reliable and efficient. I've tried to think of constructive criticism or improvement suggestions but I've come up blank. It's rated 3 star but, in my opinion, offers 4 star comfort and amenities. Yes, it's expensive, but so is everywhere in Verbier, but Hotel Montpelier offers exceptional value for money. We'll be back!

The hotel is located at the end of town's main street, with a bus stop within 100 m. To go to restsurant( hotel only serves breakfast which was adequate ) or shopping you walk up hill about 10 - 15 minutes. Room we had had a bedroom and sitting room with a kitchen sink and refrigirator but no pots or dishes or utensils and a balcony with a breath taking mountain view. The furnitures looked a bit worn. Receptionists were very friendly and tried to be helpful but informations given were sometime wrong and we waited for a bus that never came due to the fact that The Music Festival which was going on in town forced the traffic pattern to change and some receptionist were not aware of the fact. The management should be aware of it and be prepared in order to help travelers.
