Very friendly staff, especially the young blonde lady who works at the guest relations desk (I forgot her name!).
Rooms are average, need an update - otherwise good hotel.

However, one huge disappointment was a male front desk team charging my credit card with over 1,000 gbp even though my stay was pre paid for. I am still waiting for a refund, they are taking very long to sort this issue and I don't this is not acceptable.

Reality : The hotel is quite old.

Recommendation : Implement a better smoke sensor system. We were on the 10th floor - smoke free. But it was obvious that guests before us smoked in the room. all towels had smoke smell on. Front desk immediately sent the crew to clean the air in the room but better smoke sensors can be a better option.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful service in a prime location in Ankara. We have had a very relaxing vacation in an elegant and quiet atmosphere. Fitness room, indoor swimming pools and sauna are included in the price, and massage and Turkish hamam are extras. Highly recommended.

Well it was nice, staff was a bit annoying like one time the fire alarm went off but no one said anything before it, it was at 11 am and then they apologized for not informing. And the first day when I checked in at 3 pm I slept, they kept calling and coming into the room, it was very uncomfortable and annoying and they apologized but at what cost? Other than this and the pricey dining it was fine and nice

Unclean bathroom and dirty front of vanity. Cleaned after warning. NO HYGENIC BAND on toilet seat, we are told they do not have this practice in this hotel. Inadequate lightning in bathroom and on vanity and safe box area. It is impossible to adjust AC temperature setting, AC noisy, long and very long non hygenic hair style of female food servers.
Front desk, dining room, and all the rest hotel staff are VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL. Breakfast is excellent quality and presentation. Overall quality of hotel (minus the excellent staff) is poor. It is significantly inferior to avarage class roadside hotels such as Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn. Significantly inferior but pricey compared to the smaller hotel just across the street from this Hilton.

Stinky old hotel with dusty windows. My executive suite had a king bed on wheels that was not very stable. Television did not have a good signal with interrupting image across all channels. Vicious breakfast staff disassembled trays and setup at 10:34 with lots of noise and fuss, like if they were running late for something.

If you like sleeping in a cool room this hotel is not for you. The air conditioning system used in this hotel is energy efficient and does not cool the room. There are less expensive options in this area which have standard AC units.

Ankara Hilton is a convenient spot in the city of Ankara. It’s close to the inner city a cab away. I suggest not to use Uber near the hotel for the airport. Drivers were fighting over an airport ride. The hotel room was super clean. The service was excellent. They gave us a lunch box to go in the morning. The room service is fast and reliable. The view from my hotel was epic. You can see the whole city. Overall I can come back to this hotel. I only stay for one night but it was a great experience.

Our stay at the Hilton SA was incredible and the staff could not be more helpful, professional and precise. There was a problem with our booking before arriving at the hotel and they contacted (Mr Mustafa at the reception) us to bring attention about that error and for someone who´s traveling a lot because of work this is not common but shows the care they have for their customers. The food menu was tres bien and good quality.
Mostly the staff was amazing, the receptions, the room service staff, and housekeeping staff (Mrs Zeynep).

Very quiet and clean . The breakfast was filled with varieties of food . There is a shopping mall nearby and also lots of stores around the hotel . The staff of the hotel from the valet parking , cleaning staff , reception staff and everybody who works there are great . The lounge was great with snacks and hot / cold drinks with great view of Ankara .

The location is good, But I noticed few things while during my stay in the hotel;

- The food quality and taste require n immediate improvement when I ordered from rooms service. All orders I made from room services wasn't meet my expectation at all. Room service didn't even ask for my opinion on each order .

- Sometimes, operator and reception did not answer phone calls when I need something as it seems they have shortage in staffs.

Good stay but counter staff needs training

On arrival, we were offered free upgrade to Deluxe room, so that was great of the counter staff. Level 12th room, great view of the city! Room looks renovated, fresh and comfortable. But the shower is of the bathtub type, so may be challenging for elderly to hop in/out.
Breakfast buffet was great but the selections may need some variety between days, as it was similar after 6 days of breakfast buffet.
Had walked around to check on the gym and pool - Awesome, gym and pool area were considerably large.

There were no bedroom slippers / toothbrush / comb in the room, but you can call them up to request separately (for free) - Strange for a 5 stars hotel. When we asked to extend 1 more night at the reception counter on a Sunday morning, staff said they can only check at night, without good explanation of why so (though the staff speak English), even though I had asked several times for the reason. This was the one main negative experience I had out of my 5 nights stay. I had to have a local Turkish relative who had connections with the hotel to speak to them face to face (with another counter staff), who then immediately extended 1 night for us that very same Sunday morning. Unacceptable counter service.

One little issue. They seem obsessed with getting the rooms cleaned before 9. So if you don’t want knocked up at 8 on a Saturday, remember to put out the Do Not Distrurb sign.

This is probably the 4th stay that I had within the last six months. We come here with a group of people totaling probably 60-70 days stay during the last 6 months. The hotel has cooling problem during the winter in many of its executive rooms. The cards for elevator access and the executive lounge is a major problem. They demagnitize very easily and it usually takes numerous rides up and down the elevator to get the cards fixed. Believe me after your sixth ride on the elevator to get the card fixed to enter the lounge to have breakfast you will understand how this is a big headache. This time cleanliness was a major issue. There was strands of hair and dirt over the floor and the sink was clogged. Although left a note for to fix it three days in a row, it was not fixed. .My businesses colleagues had many similar problems. All these some up to one conclusion : we move our yearly business worth 150 days to somewhere else...

I cam in the end of March. The temperature inside the rooms was high, so I turned on the A/C but it did not work. They sent in a technician who did not speak English, then he went away. They told me that they will solve the problem. A half an hour later,I called them and they said that the central A/C is off for the whole hotel and they do not turn it on this time of year. In the end, they offered me a fan which was not enough.

Nice hotel but they do ta care about your stay.

Sink flooded the room. They fixed it. No apology. The ac was stuck on heat. They didn’t fix it. They didn’t care.

They asked how my stay was when I checked out. I said terrible. They said ok! That was it!!!! They really don’t care about their guests.

I had an overall average stay. It's a good hotel. The staff were friendly and caring other than the staff at the reception. They were very rude and unhelpful most of the time.
When I went in for check-in. They asked me to wait even thou the man and woman at the reception had nothing else to do. They made me wait around 40 min and still didn't call me. Then they left, I guess their shift changed. I had to ask them again to check me in. Then they checked me in.
My keys weren't working most of the time had to ask them to refresh them. Still the issue wasn't resolved.
And at the time of check-out the recptionist tried to rip me off by telling me that I had to pay extra even thou I had $300 deposit with them.
I had to argue for a while and keep telling them that they need to check for my deposit. After a while they admitted that they had my deposit. They have the worst reception and this is the worst check-in and check-out i have ever experienced.

A nice Hotel in the heart of Ankara

Although I arrived a little late to Hotel, everything was prepared according to my expectation. Frontdesk was very polite and provided me all the info I needed for the hotel.
The room was clean and very large and it was very clean. I had one of richest and delicious open buffet breakfast in the morning.
