This place is a dump and nothing like photos. It’s hot, dirty and needs an update. We had to change rooms 3x due to AC unit being broke and the rooms reaching over 80 degrees. The inside rooms are extremely hot, sticky damp and smell of mold and chlorine. The outside rooms while not the greatest either are definitely better than the inside. The parking lot smells like a circus is in town. Would never recommend staying here, would never come back and I feel completely scammed.

The ac unit was apparently broken in the room I initially booked but it was also broken in my room. It was extremely hot. The shower was broken you could take an extremely hot or cold but not medium temp shower and water would spew everywhere.

This was a rough stay. Heating system was broken but we weren't informed. We were just told that our room wasn't ready. Heat never worked and because we were waiting we never got to use the pool or hot tub. We always stay here so this was a big disappointment. Hopefully all repairs are done so our bext stay is more comfortable.

The ceiling in the shower was falling in. I was given a handicapped room that I did not request. The overall condition of the room was less than what was shown in the images on line. The room was 80 degrees when we arrived. I turned on the air and waited for 45 minutes before I called the front desk to share my concern. They said someone would come over in 15 minutes. After 35 minutes had passed, I called again and was told that someone would be \"right over.\" I ended up going to the front desk and requesting a new room and had to pack up and relocate.

The room was untidy, shower walls had strands of hair stuck to it indicating that the bathroom was not clean. The bed linens were sloppy and thrown together. There were no garbage can liners in the bags. The front desk staff was super nice and professional. 5 stars for the staff, 1 star for the hotel.

You get what you pay for, and that's not a bad thing. Our room was small, with short ceilings, and the coffee maker was in the bathroom. However, the room was clean and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was courteous, and we were able to check in hours before the standard check in time. Given our stay was during the winter with 2 degree lows and 11 degree highs, the heater worked extremely well and we stayed warm throughout our stay.

We checked in one week after a big storm and apparently their boiler was frozen. Our room temp would not rise above 60 degrees and there were no other rooms available. We did receive a discounted rate for that night, then moved to a different room the next day when it became available. Unfortunately, that room had the opposite problem and the temperature would not drop below 74. Both rooms were clean, just not updated. The carpet in the hallway outside of the second room was filthy (nearly black) and there was debris scattered down the hallway as well. The staff was all very friendly and tried their best to be accommodating in a difficult situation. Location was convenient to a Cata bus stop that dropped off at Beaver stadium for a game.

Weather during the time of our stay was in single digits and our room was 50 degrees when we checked in, we could see daylight through the space where the door met the frame and cold air blowing though it. Hotel staff said boiler not able to keep up with cold temps. Our room never got above 55 degrees and hotel said nothing g they could do other then let us check out and not charge us…..this was 10:00 at night during a busy weekend with very limited availability elsewhere. It was unsafe for us to stay at the Ramada and for our safety we had to go elsewhere and pay over 3x the price. I acceptable and will never stay here again nor will iI recommend this place to my friends.

Support staff was nice. The hotel looks to be turning into more of a motel than hotel. Pool heater was broken. Room bathroom was very small. Shower worked, but 1/2 water was coming out of spicket and 1/2 coming out shower head. Felt like handles were going to fall off. Although likely correct description, expected 2 queens and got 2 full size beds (smaller than antiicipated). \"Restaurant\" felt like old VFW gathering center. Free breakfast was OK, but not much taste to any of the actual food.

There was no breakfast for us. It was supposed to be full breakfast but as its 25 Dec they said there is no staff so breakfast will not be served. But when I checked in, they said there will be breakfast and in the booking itinerary it was breakfast included. This is not fair. If they couldn’t provide the breakfast they should have remove it from the system and I should know it beforehand. They should have informed when I checked in as we were on a family trip and we had 2 kids.

Hotel is falling apart! Orange construction cones in front of our room and along the banister thats ready to fall down.Im shocked Ramada has their name on this property. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. They should be ashamed of the price they charge just because there is a home football game. We checked in and found our room. The floor was as dirty (no carpet) but otherwise it was fine. Five minutes later, another guest opened our door. We had been given the wrong room because my name is long and had the same first three letters as the other guest’s name. Never mind that the desk clerk had asked for my ID. We went back to the front desk and got our new room assignment. It was by the pool and the floor was clean. We were relaxing in the room for a few minutes when we heard a baby screaming and crying at the pool. At 4:30 on Friday afternoon, there was an infant swimming class being held. It was awful to listen to and we finally just left. We will not be staying here again.

The front lobby and facade is descent. Very deceiving. The rest of the building is run down. The wallpaper was peeling in the room. The chiller on the roof was making a loud humming noise that you could hear in the room. The bathroom was very dated and didn’t look like it had been deep cleaned in a while. The handyman that came around looked like something out of a movie. Could have been anyone they got off the street. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. We literally called around, found a room in a sister hotel and left. Even the woman from another hotel who helped us find the new hotel said that she transferred two reservations over this week alone and that she didn’t know how the Ramada wasn’t shut down. She even guessed where we were staying when i explained my situation. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. Borders on the level of a motel that someone goes to hideout in a movie.

Our room was absolutely filthy. Toilet had sh@t stuck on it, shower floor was filthy and cobwebs and dust under a chair that has never been cleaned under. Stains on the sheets. In addition, the resort is a motel. We had to walk outside a couple hundred yards to get to the lobby. Two guys cutting an exhaust system off an abandoned truck right outside our room at 8 am. Trash dumpster was dropped outside our room at 7 am. Paper thin walls so you can here everything being said in the adjoining room. Mgmt was understanding and issued a refund and we left. You are out of your mind if you stay at this dump

Were unwiped and dirty, trash strewn in drawer atop the Bible, boogies on the wall, gum stuck to the headboard, a TV, but a channel list from several years ago. The floor was sticky like a movie theatre. The patio was crumbling and needed to be recoated about 5 years ago. Cob webs connecting the wall lamps, with a spider perched behind them on the wall. One daddy long legger.The refrigerator had 2 inches of ice in it. The mirrors were absolutely filthy. We told the desk we would be notified but no body ever showed. I cannot prove it but I dont think this room had been cleaned in weeks or more, then when i found my wallet in the toilet paper holder I had to vent. I think there were people in this room. Thats how bad it was. Our expectations were not that high but you guys managed to not even come close. Gotta do better. They knocked off $138.00 but that was not a going away present that would make me ever consider your Motel again. Making my next Penn State visit im gonna have to bypass the Ramada. I honestly think that room 269 is being used by some non paying people and some of the shady staff may know about it. Ridiculous
