Hotel Riu was beautiful! From the moment we arrived the staff treated us like Royalty! Our baggage was unloaded from our transport and as soon as we walked into the hotel we were o presented with a glass of champagne which I thought was nice! Our room was clean,we didn’t have to wait to get our keys to go upstairs! Awesome view of the ocean! The staff treated us like family by the time we were ready to go home several of the staff members won our hearts over! Jonathan from the Steakhouse went above and beyond along with Mr Gomez to ensure that we had a spectacular stay! There were a couple other staff members that were very tentative but unfortunately I didn’t get there names!! I am already looking to book my stay at The Riu Antillas for next year!! Food was good! Drinks even better! Aruba is MY HEAVEN!

Overall, our experience was okay. We had issues with our television ( It didn't work the whole time we were at the resort). We contacted the front desk many times and were given different answers. One of the outdoor restaurants had birds flying around while we trying to eat. We saw them leave droppings on the chairs and ground. The casino was just okay.
The restaurant choices were great especially the all you can eat and the staff were helpful for the most part. We loved having unlimited drinks.

Well situated, clean resort with most staff willing to make your stay better and help you around. Tips at the restaurant and bars go a long way.
The beach and palapas were great. Pool was fine. Beach and Pool chairs were fine but did end up hurting if sitting on them for a long time. Make sure you take a long stroll on the boardwalk so you can see how the other hotels look like and maybe do some souvenir shopping.
If you are a foodie, you will not enjoy the food. Breakfast was the same every morning but served its purpose. Lunch was a complete disaster. Same stuff everyday and not good at all. Flavour fatigue was real!
Dinners at the buffet were ok. Trying to get into an à la carte restaurants had long useless wait times. Just take reservations instead of making people wait. I just ended up going to RIMINI and it was not good. If you want to stay there and do not mind going elsewhere for dinner that would help the flavour fatigue and would likely be a better experience. The rooms were fine.
RIU location is good and short walk to a happening section of the strip. Safe and well lit.
I would only return with my folks, definitely not on my own or with my husband.

Work was being performed while we there leaving paint chips all over the balcony that were never cleaned up even after we complained. Our maid forgot to leave us towels after cleaning the room…call the desk 3 times and ended up waiting an hour for towels. One of the restaurants was closed and the steakhouse has limited seating so if you don’t get there when they open…you’re not getting in. Otherwise…it’s a nice hotel. The adults only benefit is definitely a plus for those traveling without children.

I've stayed at other Riu properties. This property was disappointing. I'll have to stay elsewhere when I return to Aruba.

Pros: The staff was helpful when checking in. They were very responsive to requests during my stay.

Cons:
-I had to beg for clean towels everyday.
-The food at the buffet was good for breakfast & lunch; dinner was horrible, even at the restaurants.
-There weren't any real activities on on property (parties, games, etc.).
-On many occasions the staff wasn't friendly, borderline rude.
-The decor was old & the carpet on the hallway floors was dirty.

Beautiful resort, conveniently locate, nice quiet place. Awesome selection of food and drinks. Pool and beach area are beautiful. Staff super nice and helpful. Taxi service usually available in front of resort, had to call for one but he was there in less than 5 minutes. The building has a little age, but has been well maintained and clean. It is located right on Palm Beach and has the most beautiful water I’v seen (cold but beautiful). Highly suggest a stay there.

I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with the customer service I received during my stay at Rui Palace Antillas - Adults Only from May 28, 2026 to May 31, 2026. As a frequent traveler, I am incredibly disappointed with the lack of hospitality and unprofessionalism displayed by your front desk staff, Rebeling.
Upon arrival, I was not provided with any information regarding the resort itself, beach access, pool hours, restaurant and club locations, operating hours, or where to have lunch after a long travel day, which is unacceptable for a resort of this caliber. Furthermore, I was assigned a wheelchair-accessible room, despite not booking or requiring one. When I sought assistance, I was dismissively told to check the app instead of receiving service. I was initially assigned to room 537, the hallway was extremely humid with worn carpet and a horrible smell. As a solo female traveler I was assigned a room at the very end of the hallway beside an exit door with chipped paint and didn’t close completely. I did not feel safe and had trouble sleeping because of the room I was given.
The staff member, Rebeling I interacted with was unprofessional, unpleasant, and lacked any form of empathy toward guests. Her attitude was not only unfriendly but also suggested a lack of desire to assist guests, making her unsuitable for a front-desk position.
Due to this experience, I am questioning my future loyalty to the RUI brand.

Absolutely loved this resort! The food was great, pool/beach area was clean and well maintained. Didn’t have to get up at day break to find a chair on the beach. Staff are very helpful and speak 4 languages fluently. Hotel is within walking distance from lots of shopping and bars. Definitely stay here again. Only con was hot water in the shower. But the room was comfortable and spacious.

Excellent pool, beach, and eating facilities. Only negative wss the process at the steak restaurant. Large lines form early for the six o'clock time slot. After standing in line for over half an hour, a staff person comes out to advise if you can get in or if not , did you want the later 9 time. The long line forms so early, the staff person should come out much earlier to advise if you will get in instead of making you stand on line for over 30 minutes to fond out you can't get in.

Great location!! Close to lots of shops, restaurants, and nightlife in Palm Beach. Property was clean, and staff was friendly. However for this to be an adult only resort it lacked heavily in entertainment and adult amenities. The restaurant availability is very limited and they do not allow reservations. Very limited food after 10am. Poor pool entertainment. I would not recommend.

I had an amazing stay at Riu Palace Antillas and would happily return. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located right on one of the most stunning beaches I've ever seen. The turquoise water and white sand truly look like something out of a postcard.

The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to make guests feel comfortable. The food was excellent with plenty of variety, and I especially appreciated the adults-only atmosphere, which made for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and offered beautiful views. Whether I was lounging by the pool, walking along the beach, or watching the incredible Aruba sunsets, every day felt like a dream.

If you're looking for a relaxing Caribbean escape with great service, beautiful scenery, and a worry-free experience, I highly recommend Riu Palace Antillas.

The food was absolutely delicious and excellent for all inclusive. The Elite Club Suite room we book looked great except that the room was dirty first day we walked in. There was hair on the floor, the counters weren't wiped down. You have to open the screen door towards the porch just to let some of the humidity out during showers, otherwise the smoke alarm will go off. The smoke alarm when off twice us having to stand on the bed to take a fan blower just to get the sound to go away. The humidity literally soaks the entire floor after showers. The vents aren't strong enough. Other than the room we did have a great experience in other areas.

The room was nice but this is an older building and there was definitely mould in the shower. However there were 2 sinks and that was great. Many parts of the hotel are showing their age. We did see the cleaning staff trying to keep the common areas clean. The bar staff were very friendly and did a great job preparing our drinks. The buffet was okay but there were very little options for people with dietary restrictions. The beach area is beautiful and clean. My one major complaint was the smoking. When I researched this hotel, I did not find any details indicating that it was a smoking hotel. There is a designated smoking area but very few people used it. No one at the hotel enforced this rule. It was disgusting to find cigar and cigarette butts in the sand and by the pool. We also found the customer service staff either unwilling or very slow to respond to customer requests. The service staff were all very friendly and helpful even if their english wasn’t the best.

The steak house and elite club were just ok. The Arabian restaurant was poor. Lots of snacks and drinks in the room. The bar service was very good at all locations. This was our 5th visit, and were pleasantly surprised that the issues identified a couple of years ago had been rectified. The resort was very clean, the quality of food had improved substantially, and the overall experience was wonderful! We were especially excited to learn that we had been awarded \"elite status\", and were given an absolutely exceptional room with an ocean front view.

The staff at this resort are, hands down, the BEST. There are quite a few tenured team members who not only provided exceptional service, but remembered us from previous visits, even though they come into contact with thousands of visitors each year. They truly make you feel as though you are part of their family!

This is my second time staying at this resort. The first time was excellent. That was back in 2024. This time I felt that due to the family side of their resort they kinda dropped the ball my first day there to my room, me and my daughter had to share a bed because they did not have any double bedding, which I requested double bedding when I booked the reservation back in December, also the full selection wasn’t all that great this go around maybe because they were trying to accommodate all the extra visitors from the family side due to them remodeling the family side, but they should’ve thought about that when they started the renovation, but all in all it was a nice experience for my mother and daughter just was really disappointed and the food selection. And also the restaurants you couldn’t make a reservation, but they were always full before 6 PM and it was first come first serve, but once again like I said, it was extra people there due to the renovation from the family side of the resort being shut down due to remodeling.

Absolutely worst resort we have stayed at...my husband and I stayed at a Riu in cancun and loved it so when picking our vacation destination we made sure it had a Riu BIG MISTAKE..1st off when we checked in we were told restaurants we 1st come 1st serve you can not make a reservation...ok not a problem unless you dont stand in line for an hour before they open because they only serve food from 6pm-730pm or you can eat at the disgusting buffet which had the food backwards food that should have been hot was cold and food like fruit and salad was warm..once we head to our room bell hop tells us beach and pools and beach close at 7pm no where on their booking site is this stated who closes a vacation destination pool at 7pm? Then we paid extra to have a full ocean view we got a view of the roof,once inside we realized the AC was locked at 68 it is hot in Aruba i am a heavy girl and want to cool down after being at the beach or pool.Food was absolutely terrible the steak house was good but that's it ...very limited on restaurant the female staff was enjoyable especially Maria she was our server at the steak house but most of the males were rude my husband asked one of the bartenders to stir his drink he handed him a SMALL wooden stick when my husband replied what am i gonna do with that he very irritability took his drink and half ass stired it all liqueur sat on the bottom..I asked for an extra towel for I have a lot of hair never got it even after manager called my room twice

The Key cards where bad, we had to get them replaced at least once a day because they would not work. We did not get our welcome gift until the last day we were there. House cleaning sometimes only left one towel but did a good job cleaning the room. All in all we really enjoyed our stay, the key cards were the worst though.

Mold in rooms causing discomfort and breathing issues. Sister resort next door was under renovation (this was not disclosed prior to booking) so we did not have access to all promised amenities. Not enough elevators. Had to wait in line to go everywhere. And no stairs available. Swim up pool was dirty and had tiles missing. We will not be back.

The drinks by the pool were not strong. The lunch by the pool( inside) was really good. I wish this property had an Asian restaurant! Also a shuttle to and from the airport would have been good, especially since the island isn’t very big. Additionally, it would have been nice to have servers on the beach for drinks.
Also the spa prices were crazy high. So I didn’t use them. The aloe store is nice. The buffet dinner is pretty good and breakfast is good as well.
One very disappointing thing was room service had about 5 things on it. I have never seen such a sparse room service menu. It was odd.

Great location and gorgeous beach, however the resort lacks amenities. No sports bar, no activities room (e.g. pool tables, foosball tables, shuffleboard). Also the hallway carpeting is old and dirty and they use a strong chemical detergent to try to mask the smell. Food at restaurants very good however they have to start using a reservation system instead of having people start lining up before 6:00 to enter the restaurants. The STAFF absolutely fantastic across all areas.

An Amazing Anniversary Getaway!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Riu Palace Antillas - Adults Only - All Inclusive in Noord, Aruba for our anniversary, and it was truly an unforgettable experience from beginning to end.

The cleaning staff went above and beyond to help my husband surprise me with a beautifully decorated room. Walking in to see balloons and towel art of two swans kissing was such a special touch and made our anniversary feel even more memorable.

The poolside buffets were always fresh and delicious, with an amazing variety of options every day — from hamburgers fresh off the grill to pork chops, pasta, and incredibly sweet fruit. Everything was flavorful and fresh. Dinner at the steakhouse was also delicious — the surf and turf is a must-try!

The wait staff was outstanding and made us feel so welcome. They even remembered us from day to day, which made the experience feel personal and warm. The poolside bartenders were fantastic, and the entertainment team kept the energy up the entire time. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of music, from hip hop to country, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

And of course, the location is absolutely breathtaking. You are literally steps away from the whitest sand and the clearest, bluest ocean I have ever seen. It felt like paradise every single day.

I’ve been to many Caribbean all-inclusive resorts, and they always had a very friendly activity staff over here. We never met one of them. They never said what the activities were gonna be and so we missed them although they were not many as you walked through the lobby, I feel that no one was very friendly. The place was gorgeous. The food was excellent, but the the ambience of the staff was not except for the bar people. We also had a problem trying to get our money back for a person that did not show up. They said we had to go to Expedia in. Expedia said we had to go to the Rio here it is we are home and still no answer that was $2200. I don’t know about you but that was a lot of money for us. I wish someone would help us with this. We’d be very helpful and I would change this review in a moment because the worst thing was not getting a $2200

I wouldn’t recommend this property if somebody gave it for free. I’ve been through plenty of different rius, and this one was by far the worst one ever.. they have rules and regulations like you are a child. The staff gave so much attitude and this is my first time in Aruba. They were supposed to be nice supposedly. They don’t have beach service so you go and get your own drinks by the pool bar where you can only get two drinks a person so everyone has to get up themselves. They don’t give shots. But they will give you it over ice then the towel boys we wanted to get clean towels and then he told us don’t give attitude they don’t take restaurant reservation, which is totally fine but restaurant the steakhouse opens at 6 PM and people are waiting in line at 5 PM to get a table. If you want any cabana that’s in front of the beach we had to wake up every single day at 5 AM to go get it because everybody was reserving it, which was ridiculous. The food actually wasn’t horrible. It was pretty decent. The alcohol on the other hand was horrible the most horrible selection the top tequila. They had Jose Cuevo that’s disgusting. Only if you get elite club, then you will get better alcohol. But they cannot upgrade you unless they upgrade your room, which is another ridiculous thing. The rooms are a bit outdated. They need to be remodeled. The carpet in the hallway is disgusting. Looks dirty as hell. i’m not wanting to complain and write bad reviews but literally we had such a horrible.

The RIU Antilles exceeded my expectations. It’s been renovated with up-to-date bathroom and shower. Smart TV, up-to-date furniture. The lobby was amazing. The pool area is beautiful and it’s just steps from the beach. All of the restaurants were amazing. I loved the coffee cafe. The staff were THE BEST!! Definitely going back!

The Riu Antillas was absolutely amazing. The scenery and location was perfect. The service was great. I got the Jr. Sunset Suite that had a beautiful view of the ocean and we saw a few Aruba sunsets. Overall the experience was fantastic and can't wait to go back!

My wife and I stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary. This place was amazing. The stuff was wonderful. The location is beautiful. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel and Aruba in general.

Upon checking in we noticed that air conditioner wasn’t working correctly and called the front desk to let them know. They sent someone to fix it, still hot all night. The next day we sent another message about it and finally on day five they sent someone again to fix it, which helped for one night. So one night out of six did the air conditioner work correctly. Also, I was SHOCKED that people were allow to smoke in and around the pools. Also people are smoked anywhere and everywhere outside, every outdoor seating area you had second hand smoke, outside every door, at and in the pools…it was disgusting

The food was generally cold. There were hardly any labels on the food to say what it was. The same with the lunch and dinner. If you are not an elite club member don't even think about eating at and of the restaurants except the buffet every night. Elite members can make reservations but everyone else is first come first served. So if you want to eat at the steakhouse you need to get in line 3 - 4 hours beforehand. You might get a spot
