A bit more customer service would help.

Sent an email in advance for 2 x single beds, no response but told they do not have any single beds on arrival. States air conditioning, but this is not available in the rooms. Did not appreciate the call at 1100 asking me when I am checking out, I am an adult, not a child and capable of reading. Receptionist more interested in her food rather than customer service. Did not even get asked if I enjoyed my stay. However, the receptionist on arrival and bar staff very friendly, breakfast very good and evening meal excellent.

I would highly recommend Hotel Sacher Baden to everyone who visits Austria and has the opportunity to stay in this amazing town. The entire hotel staff was absolutely wonderful and made us feel welcome each and every day. The daily breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Location is key and this hotel was across the road from the bus stop so it made traveling very convenient.

Nice hotel

The hotel is very old but well maintained. We stayed at a junior suite. There were 2 rooms one is with double bed and the other one is with double sofa bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff is very welcoming. Breakfast was o.k. Can be serve more local food. We travelled there by the car. To go to Vienna by car takes nearly half an hour. With tram, it takes nearly an hour. Baden is a very nice small city with restaurants and bars.

Nice hotel in quiet area

Hotel is 5 minutes from the highway south of Baden and across the street from a park. On the other side of the hotel an old castle sits on a steep hill. Room was clean and clean. Breakfast was great and not crowded with options to dine inside or outside. Staff were all happy and helpful. Will stay there again.

Misleading?

Obviously lives off the famous Sacher name, but absolutely no connection in either service or accommodations.

Rooms are good enough, but location (quite a way out of the centre of Baden) is not good.

No airconditioning, and right on the main road, though some rooms have balconies which make a stay tolerable.

Schöne Tage in Baden

Das Hotel liegt am Geburtshaus der Torten Sacher und liegt am Ausgangspunkt für schöne Spaziergänge und Wanderungen. Das Frühstück ist eher im unteren Bereich eines 4 Sterne Hotels

God oplevelse

Et ældre men pænt hotel.

Vi havde et dobbeltværelse/suite. Værelserne var adskilt af en dør der var åben. Fungerede fint. Det ene værelse have en sofa lignende seng der var mega hård sø fik en madras der dækkede det halve af sengen.
Derudover havde værelser ingen gardiner så meget lyst tidligt om morgenen.

Ingen kogekedel på værelset hvilket for os vil have været en god ting.

Overordnet set et fint sted for overnatning.

God service og god morgenmadsbuffet

Das Hotel ist ansich sehr schön, beim Frühstück könnte noch etwas mehr Auswahl da sein. Was aber gar nicht geht - in der Früh gab es kein warmes Wasser. Habe dann reklamiert und bekam die legere Antwort - danke, die Heizung ist ausgefallen - keine Entschuldigung, kein Entgebenkommen (Preis, goody, etc.) Sehr schade.

Hotel liegt ca. 2.5km vom Kurpark Baden entfernt am Weg ins Helenental. Parken ist gratis vor dem Hotel (Hotelgrund) möglich, allerdings begrenzte Anzahl.
Frühstück hat 4 Sterne Qualität, inkl. Cafe-Vollautomat, Sparkling Vine und Saftautomat für Orangen & Grapefruits zur Selbstbedienung. Bei Schönwetter kann auf der großen Sonnenterrasse mit Palmen gefrühstückt werden.
Klaf-Sauna & Dusche im Keller sind neuwertig, allerdings nur 4 Relaxliegen... weiters gibt auch ein Laufband, 2 Hometrainer-Rad, sowie div. Gewichte für die Fitness...

Friendly staff. Breakfast okay. Pretty good WiFi. The Airconditioner was very welcome with 36C outer temp.
But also a negative point: I had a single room. There was no possibility to hang clothes. This because of a very illogical cabinet layout. A hanging bar between two shelves. And no clothes hanger...

Velmi pěkný pobyt

Hotel je umístěný v okrajové části města Baden do 10 km od dálnice. Hodně míst k parkování přímo u hotelu i v blízkosti hotelu. Velmi příjemný personál. Velké dva samostatné čisté pokoje. Samostatné 2 toalety se sprchou. Výhled na menší zříceninu hradu v romantickém údolí kde je pak i velká zřícenina hradu. Pokoje vybavené klimatizací. U stavu hotelu dávám 4* z důvodu kdy jsme byli v starší části hotelu a bylo zde pár drobností odpovídající stáří hotelu, malba drobné oděrky na rozích, špatné těsnění na hadici sprchy a ošahané desky kontrolních otvorů na zdech. To však kompenzují velké LCD TV s více jak 100 programů ne však v češtině, 2 Slovenské. Minibar v ceně pokoje příjemné překvapení. Snídaně trochu problém s místem kapacita je menší než počet pokojů. Vyřešeno přesunem do konferenční místnosti kde jsme byli nakonec sami takže jsme měli naprostý klid na jídlo. Pěkný pobyt v hezkém hotelu městě a místě. Mohu jen doporučit.
