Not as expected. The Hotel is very dated heating goes on and off and room was cold. The food was basic. Chips looked and tasted pre cooked and luke warm, chicken overcooked and dry. over priced for what it was. Bed lumpy and shower was weak pressure. It could be a lovely Hotel with investment as great location.

Stayed in many hotels and accommodations across England, Wales, and Ireland for two weeks. This was the only stay that didn’t meet my expectations. My mother would not use the shower in her room because it was dirty. The location is good and the staff was friendly. The restaurant on site was ok, but still one of the few times in my travels that the food wasn’t excellent.

This is a lovely hotel with really friendly staff who made us very welcome during our stay. It is an older building, which has its pros and cons - quirky and full of character, though the bathroom area in our room was on the small side. The location is lovely, very close to the waterfront with good views, but the town and its amenities are on the other side of quite a long bridge. Would recommend overall.

Hotel is old and dated rooms are dark and stuffy plus we were put at the back of the hotel looking at out the bins. Didn’t book with breakfast but went on the first morning and was n9 buffet , had to order it and it wasn’t great. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in Wexford and have to save it’s definitely the worse one. There was no music over the weekend either which is bad considering people have to go over the bridge. Very disappointed and won’t be back unless it’s updated and things change, I don’t recommend this hotel.

Great location and absolutely lovely staff. The public areas are quirky and nice. The beds are very comfortable and our room was spacious but the shower room was very small. The kettle in our room had a mind of its own thiugh and was very difficult to pour from without spraying water around the area - maybe wants checking out? Overall we enjoyed our stay thiugh and it’s good value for the price

Hotel is tired. Needs some TLC. Broken handle on bathroom, cracked wood on wardrobe etc. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast the following morning was amazing.

I booked this accomodation after being in hospital so it was a very late check in. The hotel staff member Jim was very accommodating making sure I arrived ok etc. In the morning time Leanne provided great customer service and looked after me well and provided me with a phone charger as mine broke. The breakfast was delicious and there was plenty of options to choose from. The receptionist in the morning also provided great customer service (I forget her name, black hair tied back with glasses)

We stayed in the hotel on a Saturday night and we booked at short notice so therefore we paid more than you would expect for a double room in this hotel at €150.
The hotel room was quite dated, the window latches didn't close properly and there was no plug in the sink so my husband could not shave. However the restaurant food and service were both very good.
It is also in a convenient location to walk across the bridge into the town so I think we would book this hotel again for that reason but it would need to be at a more reasonable price.

On Sunday evening we ate in the restaurant then stayed there for a few drinks as the bar wasn't open. Good vegetarian dishes on the menu; food was good. Restaurant was busy - obviously popular.
On the Monday evening we got back around 9.30pm and the restaurant and bar were both closed. Had already eaten but would have had a couple of drinks. Odd for the facilities to close that early.

After my coach from Rosslare dropped me off in Redmond Square it took me around 10 minutes to cross the river and reach the hotel. So the location is very convenient. I found the hotel's staff very friendly and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable. I had a lovely meal in the dining area of the hotel and would have happily returned the following night but decided to try one of the recommended city centre restaurants. The only minor issues I had was that it would have been nice to have had more continental breakfast options, plus the WiFi connection in my room was not always reliable. Other than that I had a great stay.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely and the atmosphere pleasant. I did manage to get a parking space although it is very limited. The bed was comfortable and facilities adequate.

Ours was a last minute booking in this 3star hotel. It was excellent value for money, parking outside the door, a very warm welcome from all the staff not just front-of-house and a charming old style ambience glowed with the open fires made it all very appealing. THis,together with very tasty breakfast eaten while enjoying a glorious view of the sea from the dining room makes it a place to recommend. A nice ramble across the bridge in to the town centre and only a hens run to the beautiful beach. The room was warm, window able to open, piping hot water, very comfortable bed with plenty of clean towels and tea facilities made it a great base for our overnight visit to Wexford.

Hotel needs modernizing, my trip started being given a room that had a smell of smoking, the hotel person agreed that there was a smell might have been caused by a window left open and smoke coming from outside (balcony) below. I moved to a room which was ready cleaned etc. there was only a shower he explained I said fine I needed to get to a meeting so I just left my bag in. I didn't get back till 22.55, when I went into the room the light near the door didn't work, I switched on a bedside lamp and frightened another resident (!) spider with a very cosy web. So much for all the EXTRA cleaning that we were told was happening in the present circumstances. Finally I found no light over the sink so I could see myself as I shaved.......enough.

The staff were great and they had a great laugh with them (cocktails were excellent so I heard 😂)..They even arranged to talk to the wedding planner before they left. Sadly I only saw one of the restaurant staff wearing a mask, that's the reason I'm giving the hotel an \"ok\" rather than \"good\" rating. Some staff seemed to operate as if to say \"what pandemic??\" We're all part of the solution to this. Hotel staff can remain convivial with masks, it's not an either/or. Please up your game here. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay, this is a lovely hotel with comfortable beds and great coffee. The food was excellent and thank you Leanne for the little treat for our grandson he was delighted you served Minnie Mouse dinner too. The garden was magical in the evening with lights and candles and a lovely atmosphere. The staff take great care with health and safety during this covid pandemic and we felt very safe. Customer service was excellent from start to finish. I was very comfortable at this hotel. Only complaint I have is the water was lukewarm when I showered, and the lighting in the bathroom was quite dark. When I closed the shower curtain, I could hardly see. I would suggest putting brighter bulbs at least in the bathroom.

This hotel has a nice ambience about it, with rooms facing the beautiful bay and a hearty Irish breakfast included. However, parking adjacent to the premises is very limited. Do not opt to pay in your own country's currency or you will find the exchange rate is geared to the hotel's advantage. Our room was 114 Euro but we actually paid 122 Euro after the conversion into Australian dollars.

Just a small gripe: there were no brochures for a tour which took in four different Wexford sights which we really wanted to see (eg JFK home, Hook lighthouse etc)

Loretta went out of her way to make this an enjoyable stay. The hotel is very accessible and located right on the waterfront which provided a beautiful view of the sunset. The dinner was good but a little expensive. Breakfast was worth the additional expense. My only complaint was the WiFi. I was able to long in on my phone in the room but not on my tablet. It was very slow, even for checking mail. I would definitely rebook here if I get back to Wexford.
