Access to shops and restaurants is a very quick drive. The hotel itself was ok. The lobby and rooms on floors upstairs were much nicer than the bottom level where I was placed. I felt like I was in the bottom of the Titanic where the less fortunate stayed. There is also no pool unless you drive, which is unfortunate for families with children. The staff however were great for the most part. We came in for a hockey tournament

Staff was great, but the room was not at all as advertised. Very neglected, dirty (stains on every wall, stained curtains, hair on pillow cases, popcorn under a table, faucet had toothpaste residue, kitchen table hadn’t been cleaned), and there were signs of water damage throughout. Empty space where a bureau clearly used to be. No outlets for charging phones near bed, and the “house rules” was a piece of paper half taped to the wall. Got in the bed and the flat sheet and there was a large slash in the middle of the sheet. Freezing at night and there were no comforters. Breakfast was frozen waffles, mini cereal boxes, and mini box donuts. Coffee was good and they had almond milk.

Front desk staff was great. There was a hockey tournament in town and the parents were bombed and the kids were screaming and running through the hallways. I understand that everyone paid for their rooms and is entitled to enjoy the hotel’s common areas, but we all need to be cognizant of the fact that all guests share these spaces and not all guests may appreciate their loud music or their screaming kids. Staff were very friendly which was nice. Common areas a bit dated, and getting the carts in and out was a bit hard due largely to weather conditions, and their age. The breakfast is very simple. My family was skiing at Waterville so the Valley Inn was very convenient for that. There were an abundance of youth hockey players and their parents staying during the weekend we were there.

Not the worst place we have ever stayed but not the best either. The room seemed clean and the staff was very friendly. The bed was awful… it was old and dreadfully uncomfortable, making sleeping difficult. There was hair all over the duvet cover as well, so it seemed dirty. There also wasn’t a sheet on the mattress… just a mattress cover. The closet door was falling off. The breakfast wasn’t put out because they had a group staying at the hotel that had other breakfast plans, so we also had to find other breakfast plans. It was good enough for a the short stay we had, but I’m not sure we will stay there again.

It is too old hotel and everything was working at its bare minimum capacity. Breakfast options were very limited, only one person managing the reception and all..
No room cleaning service…
Sofa bed had years old mattress that has worn out its stiffness…
Acs make lot of noise…
I can keep on going and continue to say more… but have to stop at some point…
So I’m stopping here… worse stay!!

The property itself was a bit dated, but the staff and area of the property make up for it. The two floor rooms should all have a full kitchen. The small kitchenette did not make sense for the size of the room, with our large family. The beds were so comfortable, but can use more or better pillows. The pool table and breakfast were a hit with the kids. And the freedom passes are an amazing value that are included in the room.

The property was not up to a hotel cleanliness standard. The bathroom shower did not appear to be cleaned well if it all, the carpets had significant staining and other fixtures were clearly beyond their prime. I would not stay at this hotel again given its state without knowing that there had been a significant renovation.

We will never stay here again, tournament or no tournament. Not only was our room dirty, everything was broken or falling apart. The first thing we noticed as we walked into our room was the couch that was literally falling apart. Then we walked into the kitchen where there were coffee stains down the front of the cabinets, followed by the broken microwave, missing outlet faces and a table in disrepair. Next I went to put food in the fridge that was digusting. As I was doing that, we realized the toilet on the first floor was leaking from the bottom after a family member went to use it. We went to the front desk they could not move us, told us not to use the toilet on the first floor of the suite and there was no plumber to be called. They came and cleaned the fridge. The beds were awful, nothing felt clean. The continental breakfast was lackluster as best. We tried to spend as little time in our room as possible. On the last day of our stay our teammates that stayed in rooms on each side of us had mice. I can only imagine what we would have seen if we spent more time in there. Avoid this hotel at all cost!

The service from the staff was excellent. We arrived early in the morning and figured we would just ask if we could leave our items there. Person at the front desk mentioned we might be able to check in early. She told us to come back a little afternoon, and our room was ready. We never expected that. in addition, we left two items in the room that we really wanted back. I called the resort and spoke to someone and they quickly let me know that they had the items and will mail them to me. I was amazed when I got them two days later in the mail

The location of this inn is great. Walkable to everything with ease to the ski shuttle. The room was spacious which is also a big plus. However, cleanliness was a factor. The rugs were dirty and the bathrooms were not very clean. The beds were also not comfortable for 2 adults. My husband and i did not sleep very well from the cave in the middle of the mattress. I believe some of the rooms have been updated which may include new mattresses, but ours was not.

Stayed here for a hockey tournament. Upon arrival got hit with a $33 resort fee and a $50 early check-in at 2pm for a room right off the lobby. Tired room, stained carpet, broken bed frame, mildewy shower. Stay elsewhere

Convenient and spacious, but in need of updates.

Spacious suite in a convenient location with access to resort amenities...but in dire need of updates and repairs. The property looks like the misfit child of the Valley surrounded by the other favorites that got first dibs on central HVAC and semi-modern flooring and fixtures throughout. For what it was, it was sufficient for my needs but I would say it was overpriced considering the condition of the property.

Horrible room, especially for the cost. Had to pay $75 to check in early because we had a wedding to to that started after check in. Ac was covered by the blinds, so you could chose cool air OR a dark nights sleep. Hot water didn’t come out of the sinks. Sheets and pillows were dirty on pull out couch. Bathroom was grimy. Shower leaked noisily all night. Pool was closed. Dead bolt was defective so we felt unsafe all night. Pillows were thin and lumpy. Awful breakfast. Chipping paint everywhere and outdated everything. But, worst of all, the mattresses were the WORST any of us in our family have ever slept on! We literally moved to the floor because it was an improvement. Very, very awful experience and the front desk clerk could care less when I shared these concerns.

We had an unforeseen change of plans, leading to a last-minute booking here. The layout of the room was great for our family of 5 - very roomy, spread out on 2 floors, with 2 bathrooms. I have the impression this hotel would have been lovely back in the day, but it was much older than I thought from the photos. Outdoor pool was cold & not very clean - many bugs & debris. My kids declined to swim. Breakfast was mostly pre-packaged items, but there were many options, and my family enjoyed it. A very pleasant surprise was that our hotel fees included a pass to surrounding amenities. We ended up spending more time in the area the following day, swimming at the nearby sports complex, riding the chairlift, and paddleboating - all free of charge.

Centered to all activities we were here for. Breakfast options in are were limited. Continental breakfast at resort was meh. Lack of available outlets for CPAP, noise machine was an issue. Sofa bed is not meant to be slept on, mattress was very thin. Not filthy by any means, but entrance floor was gritty, bathroom had hair on sink and door jam. For the price, I would expect a little more.

I was not expecting a surprising additional charge of resort fees after I at the property. A suggestion to disclose the resort fees when booking as it helps compare it with other properties. It is not an ethical practice in my perspective, I know there must be some small print somewhere to cover the legal bases.
The room is really good with rentable beds but the bathroom is very tight with toilet seat right in the walking space. You can’t move much without running into it. Very poorly designed bathroom and not safe to use when showering.

Overall a good place - large rooms, good amenities and continental breakfast. Only areas for improvement - checkout time is 10 am, even on Sunday, which is 1-2 hours earlier than the industry standard, and the only mirror is in the bathroom. Given the size of the room and the possibility to have up to 4 people, guests need another mirror to get ready.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Beds were a little to soft for my liking. The lobby has a gas fireplace that was going during my stay along with big leather chairs and sofas to enjoy the quietness or morning coffee. Continental breakfast offerings were good to start your day off which also has a gas fireplace to keep the mornings cozy while eating.

The room was supposed to be a queen suite. The bed was a full, not a queen. The \"suite\" was just a glass petition between kitchen and bedroom with a sheer drape. One of us is an early bird, the other is not so that is why we paid extra for a suite - waste of money.
