The staff were friendly and the room was great, but they were doing significant renovations, and this was not posted anywhere online or communicated prior to the stay. The pool was being worked on, and there was no market open for quick snacks or drinks. I would stay again because of the location and convenience, but it should be communicated to guests what the state of the hotel is.

I was very disappointed to find the property under construction. There wasn’t even a proper desk to check-in. There were tarps, plastic hanging every where and construction noise and mess during the day.

We were not notified of any construction prior to booking nor did we receive any discount on our room. We were only offered a continental breakfast for our discomfort/ inconvenience (which I could even eat due to food allergies).

The site was a complete disaster. The entire hotel was under construction in a total rejection. The lobby was completely hung with plastic sheeting. No check in desk no amenities. The room was unfinished, with no furnishi g beside the bed. No closet, no dresser, 1 random chair. The heat/AC was not operating at all. Demanded a room change & received a moderately better room for the night. Charged FULL rate. An awful experience.

This hotel is under construction so common areas and hallways were dirty and lots of plastic, and very noisy. The room itself was very clean. However, there was nowhere to put clothes...no closet or clothes rack and no dresser or even drawers. The tv was great but the lighting in the room was terrible. The restaurant was closed, although they did put out a decent breakfast. We feel that all of this should have been disclosed on the hotel's website. If we had been staying more than one night we would have changed hotels for sure.

A few important issues were lacking.
• internet was non existent, could not get on even w help at front desk. Apparently is was ‘down’, even the head engineer guy who I met on elevator by chance. Was unaware of the difficulty in logging in. It just kept spinning around.
• never have I stayed in a name brand hotel where I had to buy breakfast, yes it said fu ll breakfast , but is $$
• 2x the fire dept was called to hotel & alarms went off, some sort of elevated CO2 levels we had to evacuate to cars

•land line phones were useless, did not work , all direct buttons on phone did nothing to call housekeeping , fr desk etc. I called on my cell to front desk, no answer , in evening, so I went down in person w laptop to get assistance w logging on to internet. They were unable to get me in , “must be down”
So I never got access to internet all of stay,
• lastly our reservation was cancelled when checking in by Expedia, I couldn’t cancel w o penalty for 1 st nite bc it past the time. But I didn’t cancel the entire stay as we were coming up next day. ??? I did not cancel reservations
• whole experience w Expedia was aggravating, plus the issues at hotel made our stay unwelcoming & aggravating

We were there over Thanksgiving and the manager had kindly allowed extended family members to utilize the dining area for a dinner together. They were there to visit. their severely ill father who was in the nearby hospital.

the room had ALOT of cosmetic damage that should be addressed before letting paying customers stay there. holes in walls, wall paper torn off, 2 broken draws of bureau/desk. a side door of hotel doesn't lock so anybody could just come in. We booked for 2 people and they only gave us one coffee pod to brew in room.

The room was great. Very comfortable bed. I wish they provided turndown service though. I stayed for 5 nights and accumulated a lot of trash that no one took. It would have also been nice if someone made up my bed. They have a bistro which is nice but options are limited. No coffee in lobby, you had to purchase from the bistro. Otherwise staff was nice. Room and common areas were clean and inviting.

Amazing cafe/breakfast options. I only spent the one night for a conference so I checked in fairly late. The staff was funny and engaging. In the morning, the breakfast options tasted amazing! No crusty stale coffee, I was able to start my day with a truly delicious chai latte. And a made to order full hot breakfast. Check out was noon which gave my husband plenty of time to veg while I had to head out very early. Overall, one of the nicest locations I’ve been to. The room was very clean and had all we needed. The common spaces were very comfortable and I had tons of space to set up my laptop.

The shower curtain rod was damaged. Eventually I discovered a USB charge port in the alarm clock, but was initially miffed by the lack of one at any of the electrical outlets. Also, the TV remote was badly unresponsive…maybe I should have requested they replace the batteries? Also, no bar soap in bathroom sink? Others had to request the same??

Staff was courteous and efficient. Rooms were clean and comfortable. But the fact that complimentary breakfast was not served ended the stay on a negative note. For the cosst of the room, at least a muffin and a cup of coffee could have been included. Instead, overpriced entrees and dried out pastries were all that were available. Not even free coffee in the lobby. Tacky.

They charged me $40 more for the last night without telling me there would be an extra charge. Also the furniture and the set up of the furniture was stupid and uncomfortable. You could not watch the television from the bed. The sofa bed was wierd and uncomfortable. All in all a terrible arrangement for a hotel room

It was very convenient for a hospital visit. The towels were nice. The largest flaws were maintenance and age - other guests' flushing was loud, the doors creaked, the wallpaper was damaged, the furniture had obvious wear, and the tub caulking looked like it needed to be redone.

There is no comp breakfast as in less expensive places, the bistro is very expensive and everything is a la carte, there are no vending machines of any kind anywhere, the coffee maker in the room offers only one flavor of coffee and no tea.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The desk person was very helpful and pleasant. What we didn't like was the landscaping noise shortly after 8 am. And we were on the 4th floor. I cannot imagine what that noise would have been like on the 1st or 2nd floor. Other than that unpleasant wake up call, our stay was perfect.

The positive was the 1 bedroom suite was spacious. Overall I’ve stayed at better hotels in the area and would probably book somewhere else in the future.

We booked an accessible room. As far as we could tell, the only thing accessible about it was a couple of grab bars and a larger bathroom. Tub was not accessible.

In general, this is a sad, older Courtyard. Hot and cold waters were reversed, toilet ran, heat/ac was difficult to control. And staffing at the desk was non-existent when we arrived. Had to wait for 5 minutes, or so, for someone to come back.

The first night we slept in a clean room but the mattress was defective as the top layer of foam was delaminating from the rest of the mattress. This caused a folded, bumpy area, very uncomfortable to sleep on. The next morning we requested a different room, and the staff said it would be done upon our return that evening. Before moving all of our clothing into the new room, we looked at the mattress and it had the same problem, if not worse. We again requested a different room which required housekeeping to go in annd inspect the mattress before we were moved in. Fortunately, this mattress must have been much newer and was more comfortable.
It appears this Marriott is not routinely inspecting its mattresses for obsolescence or defects. FYI: there is no free coffee in the morning or a free breakfast. As we were in a hurry the final morning, I purchased 2 coffees and one bagel. The total was $17.50!

Staff and facilities were great however two intrusions. Was initially checked into the wrong room - regular king instead of suite as-reserved. Was awakened at 4:30 by what sounded like a vacuum cleaner or large equipment upstairs from our room.

No fault of the property, but Marriott Bonvoy app password reset does not work, so no points for this stay, a dissatisfier.
