The good: clean room, great view of the lake, the pools, the location, pet-friendly.

The not so good: unfriendly staff at check in, noise all night long (until at least 2 am), saggy mattress that hurt my back. There were people partying and shouting all night long, running through the halls, etc. I called the front desk around midnight and they said they would solve the issue but the noise continued. I got very little sleep. I wouldn't stay here again.

The cooper room tasting menu was so good well worth the price and also the band was super fun n dancing made it just a great time.

Great Lake view, walking distance to lots of restaurants.

Room wasn’t clean or updated. The closet stank like rotten fish, even housekeeping staff gagged when they came to douse it with Lysol.

Found a used flosser on the floor which hadn’t been vacuumed.

Woke up to ants crawling in the bed.

Never any towels left when we went to use the hot springs.

Staff were neither friendly nor helpful.

Overheard another customer complain that her camper was better than her room.

This is absolutely not worth the money.

Copper Room dining experience was excellent.

I have been coming to the hotel for the last 40 years. It always feels like a special occasion every time we come. It has a “run-down” feeling and the staff seems a bit overwhelmed. On our last stay the towels and bedding from the rooms were left out outside the rooms on the hallway for a few hours (my wife let complained and then they were taken away). The staff at the Copper Room restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The quality of the robes and towels is better! . People and families are now bringing not only drinks but food to the pools! Before one had to bring a closed drink container but not anymore :( Will continue to go but sorry to see some things not being as the same standards as before :)

The room was impressively clean, but the interiors are overdue for an upgrade. The carpet and furniture were old and in poor condition, which made the space feel a bit depressing despite the cleanliness.

Adding a microwave would be a huge plus for convenience. Great if you just need a spotless place to crash, but don't expect modern comfort.

Plenty of parking, but you have to walk a ways outdoors to get to an entrance into the hotel. There should be an entrance into the hotel near the parking lot.

The towels for guests to use in the pools should be given to the guests in their rooms for use during their stay. Instead, guests can only get the towels during certain hours at the hotel entrance to the pools. We didn't know about the towels & had to walk back to our room wet.

Pool was incredible. Everything else was old or in poor condition. Shower was terrible. No pressure and scattered. Gym room should not be called a room. Treadmill broken and weight machines did not have the pins to adjust the weights.
It was only worth it because of the pools.

The rates to stay here are astronomically high for what it is. The rooms are outdated, hard & uncomfortable beds, large bleach stains all over the hallway floors, window screens with holes and falling out of their frames. Do not recommend staying here with a family, there is no where to eat unless you want to pay the insane prices at the Copper Room or try to find a table at the lounge which has VERY limited seating where kids are allowed to be. Very very disappointing stay and will not go back.

We were housed in the older section of the hotel, but I did not mind. The room was clean, had comfortable beds, and there was very little noise from other occupied Rooms.
The highlight of this hotel, for me, was all the pools!! One hot tub (indoor), one indoor adults-only pool, three outdoor pools...one of which was adults only and heated to 98°
The only unpleasant incident was a person working the late shift at the reception desk: He either made an assumption about my adult daughter and I, or he resented that I booked through Expedia. Whichever it was, it caused him to be barely civil to us. The rest of the staff were kind, helpful, and friendly.

The pools are nice and relaxing, outside pools seemed a bit dirty, with tree debris floating in them. When you book thru Expedia you are given the older rooms, which are outdated and smell weird.
Once we went to our room we requested for an upgrade to the newer rooms. The newer still old rooms were ok. We stayed for 2 nights and did not get our room cleaned both days, had to call front desk to request clean towels.
Staff is nice and friendly.
Overall stay was ok, the view is amazing, good place to relax and go for nice walks.
Resort is definitely family friendly, the food is ok, went to breakfast buffet which was not worth the price. Better to get breakfast at restaurants outside the resort.

The room is very dated with the old enameled tub plus shower overhead. The kind of tub you wonder if it's slippery. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. They noticed my husband was tall so they sent up a larger robe. As others, we came for the mineral springs. The springs we're exceptionally relaxing. It was fairly quiet when we were in the pools but others who came earlier than us around 7:00-8:00 said that children were running around and using blowup toys in the pool so it was not relaxing. And, they ran out of towels at night and in the morning. The owner does not appear to want to invest in the property.

The atmosphere was decent, but everything else fell short. The room was very small with a dirty carpet, and the bathroom didn’t feel properly cleaned. The hot spring water was only lukewarm, not hot, which defeats the purpose. The shower and hot tub were also small. There was only one microwave for the entire property, located by the reception, which was inconvenient. The place clearly needs a serious upgrade. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I stayed in Harrison Hot Springs Resort for 1 night with my daughters. Our room was at the East Tower, 8816. The room wasn't very new or well decorated ,but much better than our room at the west tower which we stayed several years ago.
Generaly the hotel is clean but unfortunately everything look so old. Our room was looking clean until I saw the yellow stains on the toilet!
Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.
Hot Springs pool area were very relaxing. Towels were clean.
If the hotel and the rooms have a better decoration and a small kitchen in the rooms, I'd like to stay more.

We recently stayed at Harrison Hot Springs Resort with my husband and daughter, and it was such a beautiful, relaxing experience. From the peaceful views to the warm mineral pools, everything felt like a perfect little escape from our busy routine.

The staff were very quick to respond to any requests, which made our stay even more comfortable. Our room was clean and had a great view of the lake, with blooming cherry blossoms that made the scenery even more special—waking up to that each day felt magical.

Honestly, we wish we had stayed longer—the time went by too quickly. It was exactly the kind of place where you can slow down, unwind, and just enjoy being together as a family.

We’ll definitely be coming back 💛

I attempted to cancel my booking for Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa through Expedia, but the cancellation did not go through. I contacted both Expedia support and the hotel multiple times. Each directed me back to the other, and no resolution was provided.

Despite these efforts, I have now been charged the full booking amount. I made reasonable attempts to cancel within the proper channels, and this outcome is unfair.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the years, so I have a strong sense of what to expect but this most recent visit genuinely stood out. The most noticeable change was the significant improvement in customer service across all areas of the property. From the moment I checked in, the front desk staff were warm, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. That level of attentiveness continued throughout my stay, with housekeeping being thorough and considerate, and restaurant staff providing friendly, prompt service that made dining on-site feel like a highlight rather than a convenience.

While the service has clearly taken a step forward, the hotel itself still shows its age in certain areas. The heritage wing in particular feels quite dated, with rooms and common spaces that could benefit from more substantial updates. That said, it was encouraging to see signs that improvements are underway. Small upgrades and maintenance efforts suggest that the property is moving in the right direction, even if it hasn’t fully caught up yet.

Overall, the elevated level of service left a very positive impression. If the hotel continues investing in both its staff and its physical spaces, it has the potential to offer a stay that feels consistently high-quality in every aspect.

Beautiful old Hotel with great amenities but it’s a very noisy hotel. We had a door to an adjoining room and we could hear every conversation they were having and the people above us were walking until midnight back and forth.

The check-in was crowded and slow.
The pool was way too busy. Also, people did not follow the rules about adult only areas, and the staff did not do anything about it.

Overall this was an okay hotel. Not great but not bad. I was expecting a nice relaxing getaway and it was at times… however, the adult pool is next to the kid pool so it was loud at most times of the day. Friday night the pools were very full. We did not have breakfast onsite because it was $33! Some of the staff were very helpful but there were a few who were rude. The elevator was a little sketchy and had broken button. Also the outside fireplace seating area was so full of cigarette butts and not well kept. The room was in the heritage building and that’s the older part of the hotel but it was nice and had a good view. Because we stayed multiple nights they gave us a queen bed! Overall I would say it was okay and glad we went!

The pools are the main attraction here as you must stay at the hotel to use them. Enjoyed them very much. The eateries are ok. Very busy and some waits as they haul food from a distant kitchen. A constantly yapping dog ruined dinner for the guests at Islands, up and down off the velvet couches in the adjacent lounge area with the owner the owner oblivious. Our rooms were dated and aging. Even the duvets were granny looking.

The hotel is a relaxing and fun place to visit, and the views are hard to beat. That said, the property feels a bit worn. The AC in our room didn’t work (we just left the balcony door open- but it would be a problem in the summer), the concrete around the pool is pretty worn down, and the fountain between the pools wasn’t running (not sure if it’s just turned off or not working). There also weren’t enough pool towels when we went, and we were told to just use the bath towels from our room. It is a long walk back to the room.

Service-wise, it wasn’t great and they could’ve been a bit more accommodating. There was a long line at check-in with only one staff member working the desk. There also wasn’t a bellhop available during their posted hours, so we ended up borrowing a cart to move our luggage across the property. We had to wait for someone to find a cart that could be used. I’m currently recovering from a broken ankle, so I was hoping someone on staff might’ve been able to help out.

You are paying for access to the hot springs pools and the property and services aren’t big considerations in the pricing model. That said, we will be back- because the views and the hot springs are worth it.

1.My biggest issue was that there was no business center. I was pulled to work while on vacation and I had very difficult time to find any spot with the table and chair to use while .
2. The Island Restaurant was so slooooww after about 35 mins for just to get our drinks and another 20 for the food my 3 years old end up asleep and I tried so hard to keep him up. End up taking his food to go. And no there were not busy at all. The service was very very low.

My family (Great Great Grandparents onward) have been enjoying this hotel since the 1890’s. I expect nostalgia and old charm. What I did not expect is lack of customer service. It was explained to me (by staff) that my demographic is aging out, 50yrs plus. Technology and modern expectations are the priority. Cheap shows no matter one’s age. All eyes see the same. Details matter to any one with class.

The indoor hot pool was too hot, but the outdoor adult pool was a perfect temperature. When we asked for pool towels, the staff brought them to our room promptly, much appreciated. The room was basically good. However, the light switch by the door didn't seem to work. This meant that we had to walk through a dark room to turn on the table/desk lamp to see. I hope we don't have to wait too long to have our damage deposit refunded.

The resort is family friendly and has some welcoming gathering places for guests. The couches by the fireplace are a cozy spot and there is a big table at the other end of the long hall for playing games which was well utilized. We stayed in the west wing which is looking a little tired with carpet stains and the carpets were not very clean. Mattresses in our room are due for an upgrade. Ironing board was broken as was the drying wire for bathing suits. There was debris from trees in some of the pools. Good service from front desk to pub and breakfast buffet.
