First timers at Harrison. We stayed for one day, and unfortunately, the hotel felt quite run-down. The shower drainage was clogged, and only the night lamp and toilet light were working, there was no functioning light in the main bedroom. The corridors were noticeably dirty as well.
Additionally, the concierge was difficult to understand and was unable to communicate clearly. When we asked about Uber or taxi options to get to the Harrison Tulip Festival (night garden) he couldn’t provide any helpful information or guidance. We found out that there is not much of uber driver there. Thanks to google by the way. Sometimes, all you have to do is to rely on technology.
Overall, the experience was disappointing due to the poor maintenance and lack of helpful service.

We stayed for 1 night.It was okay buy they could do some renovation,the towel bar is like about to fall same with the shower curtain rod.The wallpaper in the washroom is peeling off and the ceiling in the washroom is like falling off.The exhaust fan in the washroom is so noisy.I like the bed that is clean and soft.Will I stay again?Yes I would for the price and the beddings.

Very disappointing experience, especially as the photos online looked great. However, in reality, the property was very run-down, dirty, and some things weren't working at all. The thermostat in our room didn't turn on (it didn't even have power to it), the fan in the bathroom had no cover on it and wasn't running, the smoke detector was covered in plastic wrap (which is actually illegal), the one and only lamp didn't work, the closet was broken, the carpets throughout the building were ratty and patched together, the elevator stank and was filthy, and there was never anyone at the front desk. The price for they stay was cheaper than other hotels in this area, but certainly not the cheapest - not worth the money we \"saved.\" We won't stay here again.

The hotel was extremely dirty, and our room hadn’t been cleaned upon arrival. Many things were in poor condition and seemed to be falling apart. When we requested fresh bedding due to hair and crumbs on the bed, the housekeeping staff responded rudely.

This property is declining. We stayed there a year ago and there is a marked decline in the overall finishes of the property since then. The exterior and interior need repainting. There is failed wallpaper in the halls. There was a large oil spill in the parade that I stepped in and nearly fell when i exited my vehicle. The canopy in the courtyard is ripped and failing in a number of areas. Carpets need replacing throughout. The fridge in the room sits on the floor and slants toward the carpet causing the door to rub on the carpet and making it difficult to open. There was no freezer component to the fridge. The TV package is basic with very little to watch. the elevators creak and groan.

Hotel location was the only positive aspect of my stay. Unfortunately, everything else was disappointing. The hotel felt old and poorly maintained, with dirty hallways and stained carpets throughout. The room was very dated, and the air conditioning didn’t work properly, making the stay quite uncomfortable. Overall, it was a terrible experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Beautiful view of the mountains from the room. Although the hotel seems quite old and it does show in the rooms, I'd say that the beds and pillows were amazing. The room was also perfect temperature and the ability to control hear and cooling was much appreciated. You could not hear noise from the main road nor from neighbours in the adjacent rooms. They also offer underground parking which was a bonus. They included WiFi which was fast and helpful for my needs. Lastly, the room had a microwave oven and fridge which both worked great and were welcomed! Lastly the walk to the water is literally less five minutes so if you want something very close to Harrison Lake, check this place out.

My stay was good. This is my second time to stay in this hotel. There are some noises fr the room above me, but not that bad. Room is clean. It’s a budget hotel, if the room is clean which it is, it’s good.
My only comment is about check in time, i arrived around 3 pm, but the front this is strict. 4 pm is 4pm, i went for a walk and come back at 4 pm and there was a line up for check in. It took me 45 minutes to check in.
I think if somebody arrives early and if the room is ready, they should allow early check in.
Otherwise my stay was good.
Looking forward to stay in this hotel again in the future.

Toilet was missing a hose so there was no flush. TV wasn’t connected to the cable box because there was no HDMI cable. Front door to the lobby was broken Overall maintenance of the hotel is dated and the walls, doors, washrooms were unclean with obvious signs of wear and tear. Staff did as good as a job as they could with how busy they were but the hotel needs higher standards in terms of basic cleanliness and presentation.

Free parking is only available on the street. Hotel charges $10 for underground parking. We stayed in a pet friendly room on the 2nd floor which was not cleaned properly. Lake is a 10 minute walk. Overall the hotel is outdated.

There was a plumbing issue in the first room where water would not come out of the tub tap. Was given a second room and everything was was fine.

Fridge was not plugged in, hotel extremely run down and filthy. The complete second floor was under demo with glue fumes, dust, old furniture hanging around the hallways. Elevator scary. Bathroom dirty, scum and rust all over tub and faucets. Carpets disgusting with stains . Curtains that don't fit and stained. Outlets don't work and the ones that did were sloppy and hard to keep anything charging.

We were moved into a new room which was better but that’s not saying much, this room had fingernails on the floor, and many strands of hair in the bed. We got to our room it looked nothing like the pictures. The room smelled like urine. The room looked like they were renovating but stoped the bathroom roof was coming down no hot water the fridge and microwave were so old and disgusting. The hotel it self had no amenities that they advertised. The halls carpets were full of stains and falling a part. They claim to have room service and restaurant but none. The rooms carpets were stained the beds were so old and the bed sheets torn and stained. Whom ever owns this should be ashamed. The pictures and descriptions on the booking sites are not correct don’t be fooled by this the pictures they are about 15 years ago.

The hotel was very rundown in general. While my room had had some upgrades, the faucet was not secured to the basin. There is absolutely no pictures or decor in the room. Many of the plug-ins did not work. The inside of the elevator didn’t look like it had been wiped down in months. Kind of gross.

The pool was closed even though it was supposed to be open. We were given a coupon for the public pool which was also closed and we did not have access to the pool at Harrison hot springs hotel. Room condition was poor. You will get cushions instead of pillows. Washroom roof had pannels missing and missing exhaust fan. And room fan was loud. One of rooms next door lock had battery low and kept beeping whole night. Carpet was in very poor condition too.

Hotel was very affordable however very run down. I am not sure if they are new owners but I stayed here a few years back and it was very nice. This time there were stains all over the carpet in my room, tears in the rug and the common areas ie lobby, hallway and elevators are definitely needing to be painted. Gave it two stars because the staff were friendly.

Rooms are in terrible condition. Clean, but very, very tired. They have seen much better days. Staff was pretty friendly! Thank you! Even though the check in was at 4 PM (!!!!), the room was not ready until 5 PM. It was OK as we spent extra time exploring the vicinity. The location is nice as it is right near all the restaurants and cafes in Harrison.

Stay elsewhere! I normally don’t complain as I’m a fairly basic traveller, but this place deserves to be given a negative review.
Upon check in, I was told I would not be receiving the king room I booked and given a queen instead. That wasn’t the biggest deal but it was the start of the negative experience.
The real problem is the condition/cleanliness.

The entire hotel is in disrepair. Probably one of the worst/grossest hotel bathrooms I’ve ever walked into.
Visible mold in the shower, tile grout was orange from grime - clearly hadn’t been scrubbed in quite some time. Black hair stuck to different parts of the mirror, sink drain was stuck and water would take minutes to go down.

The pressboard Vanity was absorbing water and starting to grow mold, and was disintegrating. Carpets and couch fabric was absolutely dirty. Looked to be gum stuck to carpet as well as burns. Hallway carpet was gross. Walls and doors had grime and fingerprints on them.
Everything needs to be renovated in this hotel. Not just for an update but because it is unsanitary.

My partner and I recently stayed at Harrison Lake Hotel for Valentine’s Day from February 13-15th. We were very excited to have a nice little getaway to celebrate the occasion. Upon arrival the front desk attendant was very accommodating and kind! Gave us two passes to the public pool and brought cutlery up for our takeout dinner. When we entered our room, there was a very strong smell of smoke as well as our bathtub was very dirty. The room did not seem clean whatsoever and the outlets did not work as well so we had to move one of the beds in order for the lamp to turn on. The hallways were very loud early mornings as well as late at night, understandably as it was a long weekend however.
We love Harrison and so we’re very excited for this stay. I am not one to complain but I would like to give the hotel a chance to either refund my original payment method, we would also be willing to try the hotel again in maybe an upgraded room as that is what we were hoping for based on what we had paid.

There was no heat on the floor. They had placed a portable heater in our room. We had this for our whole stay. 3 days. We reserved a room with a Kitchenette that was not properly maintained. Nothing but a microwave and mini fridge. I have stayed at nicer Motels than this Hotel. As soon as you step in the elevator it’s dirty and so old and grungy. The hallways are questionable at best with nasty brown stains on the ceiling title. There was ants in our room in February. This hotel is in desperate need of some tlc and Reno’s. The main entrance is the only nice place it has.

The location is perfect which gives you access to all the stores within a 5 minute walk. Plenty of free parking at this hotel.
They also provide a free hotel voucher to access the local mineral pool. This time I paid only $62 (Cdn) per night and for that price it was well worth it.

Friendly staff, gave me a up grade with mountain, lake view and a king size bed. Room was nice and big but need to focus on cleaning. The carpet had stains on it and spiderwebs on the light fixture and bathroom cabinet had types on it. Other than that, we had a good time.

I booked a kitchen in Rome when I got there. There was one bowl.
And some plates when I complained to the front desk the guy told me we don't have anything else that's all we have nothing we can do after arguing
Do you finally send one frying pan and some dish soap. I was there for 3 nights no one came to clean the room. No one came to change the garbage
No kitchen towels, no cups for coffee. It was a very bad experience

Room was very dirty and my boyfriend and I both have been sick with bleeding noses and I have breathing issues as I am asthmatic.
I have photos to prove the filth of the room and the uncapped toilet and the floors were filthy the mould that was in the room. I believe that the Furnace was giving us filthy dirty air..
