Great experience overall, the price was incredibly good for what it was, the bathroom is shared but it is kept clean, the room was in great condition and the bed was comfy, the staff are friendly and helpful, I would stay again!

Construction outside made is difficult for my cab driver to get in so i had to walk a few blocks. Also ordered food and driver couldn't drop off food so i had to go meet him. Heater wasnt working in my room as well as it was snowing.

It was my second time staying here. Last time , I got a basement room, and it was a bit dingy. The room needed a fresh coat of paint. This time, I was on the main floor in a freshly renovated room. The bathroom was always clean. Given the price, I would recommend this place to any budget traveller.

I had mixed feelings about my stay. Looks like the main level has really undergone major renovations (though a kitchen water tap was falling off and barely functioning, and the stove was not allowed to be used), but the basement level where my room was appeared to resemble a slum. Filthy rugs and walls, cracked lamp, freezing cold room, torn bedding, a garbage bin in the kitchen with a broken pedal, so you need to touch the dirtiest lid to toss your garbage…The smell of piss in the hallway and a woman who was wandering around the basement and stairs all night being very loud were the worst of experiences. At 5am, I came out of my room and asked her nicely to lower her levels, and heard something not very nice. It didn't feel safe, and no staff was on site between 10pm and 7am. The staff were very polite and helpful though. There were no breakfasts despite having been included in the description. With over minus 20C, it’d be also desirable to have an opportunity to plug in a vehicle. I hope for the renovations on the basement level, timely repairs and higher cleaning standards.

The staff was really rude to me, the morning that I had to check out, I went for a meeting and it took longer than I expected, came back to check out and I went to apologize for missing the check out, mind you I was supposed to to check out at 11am and I got back to the hotel at 11:23am. I went to apologize to the staff at the front desk and she was really rude and disrespectful to me and kept making terrible remarks and honestly I felt very insulted. It seem she spoke to me that way cause I was a person of color. It really hurt my feelings and ruined the whole experience for me.

This property was very falsely represented claiming to have air conditioning in each room and under the pictures of each room was pictures of a bathroom and couches and a microwave but those were pictures of the common area. No snack and deli as cleaned. No breakfast served daily as claimed. No coffee and tea in the room and even in the common area it had to be made yourself. Heat was poor with no individual thermostats. Kitchen stove did not work on the second day. Shampoo running out in the shared shower and no conditioner. Claimed to have a view of the river but did not. Patio is a joke with a small table and a few chairs next to large garbage cans. Cigarette butts everywhere all over the ground outside along with garbage. Wheelchair accessibility is a joke with stairs at every door. Sign saying no visitors allowed. \"Premium bedding\" look like something the thrift store wouldn't even sell. Advertised as a \"boutique style eco-hotel\". They clearly lied about a great many things. I don't know how to get away with this.

The place is run-down and not terribly clean. The bathroom smelled like pee. The walls are paper-thin, and you can hear everything going on in the hallways and common areas. Also, there are 11 guest rooms but only 5 parking places. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful though. And it is in a great location if you are going to the Royal University Hospital.

The room was very cold, can not control the heat as it's central, so I had to ask for a portable heater.

The bedsheets had stains in multiple places. That's not something you put by mistake.

Just a huge snowstorm and they expected me to drive with my newborn baby 2 hours to make sure I stayed there or loose all of my money. The lady at the front desk was very rude and unpleasant.

My room and the bathroom were clean. Guests were mostly quiet. I couldn't get my phone to pick up the wifi signal (was that an issue with my phone or their system?) and the walls are pretty thin, so we knew when anyone was coming or going. There's always an employee on site to deal with any issues. All in all, for the price I paid, I got more than what I paid for. I'll be going back there if I return to Saskatoon.

Friendly check-in. Planned on three nights stay.

Shown the room and explained the facility features.

Tried to connect to internet and had difficulty requiring a reconnect multiple, multiple times. Highly frustrating and ended up using my phone as a hotspot.

Pulled back the covers to find stained sheets and a long black hair.

Had to pee in the night, requiring getting dressed and going down the hall to the shared bathroom .... where the water wouldn't drain from the sink.

Wake up in the morning thinking a cup of coffee would start the day off so go to the kitchen area to find the water tap handle comes off in my hand and the tap can't be activated by any means, so no coffee.

I left and went home a day early.

I have to say the price was attractive, but the old saying \"you get what you pay for\" applies.

The rating of Poor vs Terrible is based solely on the attempted friendliness of the check-in staff, not the experience in the facility. They need to spend a few minutes on basic \"screwdriver and pliers\" level of maintenance.

The room was in the basement and was not having proper window or visibility. Also, while booking it was not showing that the bathroom and washroom is shared, while we entered we came to know. The linens were very basic and multicolored. I immediately requested for the cancellation but the hotel staff didn't listen and the same was with Hotels.com customer care. Well actually it's not a hotel but it's a hostel and they should mention this while booking. I immediately left and booked another hotel for which I paid higher price. I will advice not to book this hotel (hostel). Staff is also not good.

I accidentally booked the wrong. Citi and I called promptly to the establishment when I recognized it. They said to call you, Expedia and you folks wouldn’t give me a refund.

Not cool as the ability to recover from these mistakes is what makes me come back to Expedia but you did not recover

The room was okay. I was not aware that it was a hostel style but that was my error on thr booking. There was a couple in the next room fighting all night long. So we were not able to sleep properly. I guess that is a risk with dorm style rooms.

Parking was so convenient and my bed was comfy. I was close to all the places I needed to go, like the hospital, downtown and DQ. The room was cozy, which was good for just me, that’s all I needed. I stayed in a room with private bathroom, clean and So affordable, I would stay again 👌

The Queen room was small but clean. We got a bathroom and shower in our room - again nice and clean. Room was hot and no temp control visible so I left the bathroom window open to try and cool a bit. Adjusting shower temp was a bit tricky, lots of hot water (too hot). Being right across from the hospital we did hear sirens through out the night, but not terrible. TV powered on, Cable box was powered on, but did not get any programs. Ok for a one nite stay.

The room description is full of lies! You will be SHARING A BATHROOM WITH 6 OTHER ROOMS!

Also, there were SEX STAINS ON THE SHEETS! I asked for a change of sheets and she tried 3 others and they we're all stained as well. I had to sleep on stained sheets.

And, the internet kept cutting in and out. It was next to useless.

Further, it was stated that there was air conditioning and a fan in the room but there is neither so be prepared to freeze your butt off.

It also stated that breakfast was served daily but there is no served breakfast at all.

It stated that there is a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room but there is neither.

When I called the manager with my complaints he told me to take it up with Hotels.com. He did not care at all.

I thought it was a child I was dealing with and it was a prank but it wasn't. So I was too afraid to stay there.

The photos show a room with a bed. That is all you get. Shared kitchen, no cooking allowed. Free coffee, where? Difficult to get around sreep stairs. Doors have gaps all around them locks have obviously been damaged multiple times. Absolutely no sound deadening in the entire structure, noisy as all get out.

Upon arrival I discovered there was no hot water; no possibility of a shower after a long drive. Could not evev wash my hands with warm water. The desk clerk knew nothing of this. Really? By the time I left for my flight home this morning the situation was unchanged. This is totally unacceptable. The room was dingy; only one undersized piece of art on the wall and screws on another where a frame might have once hung. There was no night stand lamp, making it a bit hasardous switching off the overhead light and getting in bed. There were a couple hairs on one of the pillows, strongly suggesting they did not change the pillow cases from the last guest. While their website states there is a free continental breakfast, a discreet sigb in the office area adds that the breakfast is available upon request. It is supposed to be a smoke-free location but the unmistakable odour of burnt tobacco was easily detected. I did not anticipate having to share a bathroom. Going back on their website I can see the subtle use of abbreviations when referring to this situation so that they can claim to have been up front, but it really isn't. It is no suprise, given all of the above that I could not wait to leave at first light. I highly recommend Expedia carefully review its rating of this establishment. Just send a staff member there for 1 night.

Very disappointing experience. This property did not live up to the photos or the description in the listing at all. From the moment we arrived, the entrance and hallways were dirty—dust, debris, and just an overall lack of cleanliness. The sign on the hotel was broken, which was our first red flag. It looked nothing like the pictures posted online—everything felt extremely dated and neglected.

Our room was no better. The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell, and there was visible mould in several areas. It was frankly unhygienic. The noise levels at night were also unacceptable, making it hard to get any rest.

We were so disappointed that we checked out after just one night. To make matters worse, there was no communication or follow-up from the property at all—no apology, no attempt to resolve or even acknowledge the issues.

Not recommended. This was a major letdown.

When I arrived I was greeted with a friendly smile. I was helped out immediately and showed to my ungrated room. I was given the keys and brought my stuff in. I slept better than I have in awhile.
Thank you again for the great experience at your hotel. If in the area again I will definitely stay here again
