This is an excellent hotel with restaurant lounge area. The butter chicken was exquisite and unique, the curry flavor in the sauce was one of the best ever! Rooms were very clean & well maintained. Great place to stay. Wish it had a pool & hot tub 😎!

It’s pretty standard but centrally located and by the Baddeck Lobster Supper restaurant. If busy, parking can be tight but it’s convenient. It’s a bit dated but value is good.

The property has three buildings and we were in the Hilltop. The room was large, but the bathroom had a pedestal sink and therefore no counter space. There were two shelves, which helped but it’s not the same. Our view was of the parking lot which meant we had zero privacy with the curtains open. And the blackout curtain wouldn’t stay shut without pushing the armchair in front of it. The armchair itself was nice, but stained, so not nice. The beds were comfortable and the fireplace was nice and gave off a lot of heat. There was only one type of pillow which would be fine if you happened to be a linebacker. The room was generally very clean, but all the corners were dirty - that’s being picky, I know, but I also don’t usually notice something like that so it stood out. The rooms had big heavy doors that you had to pull hard to open or close so we heard everyone coming and going. Also, on that point, the walls side to side seemed to be decently insulated for sound, but we heard every single footstep above us. Every single one. And a few conversations. To top it all off, the tv didn’t work. Normally, that would’nt have been a big deal, but the World Cup was on! The fellow that came and looked at it was very nice and discounted our room for us, but we still missed two matches. On the whole, not our best stay.

Dinner was good. Breakfast was ok. Staff very nice, helpful, informative. Ice Machines only worked in one building. The other 2 buildings did not have ice machines working. Maybe too early in the season, but still needed by some guests.
Inn setting very nice. Nice patio area and yard. Good parking. Close to downtown Baddeck and the waterfront.

Check in was easy and we were happy to get a room right away. The cleaning staff was very helpful and did a good job on daily cleaning. Location was good for a resting point to do day trips throughout the Cabot Trail.

The room was ok, however the mattress was too hard for my preference, making it hard for me to have a restful sleep, it may work for other guests but not for me.

Furniture and carpet have seen better days and amenities were not at par of description on the booking, such as internet very slow, cable not available in rooms ( they said the cable company was working on it and was down; however the lobby had cable but none in rooms) and there no microwaves in the rooms but in common areas.

Also note the rooms are not in the main building but you have to go outside to get to the main building and get water, coffee or tea available 24/7 and free of charge.

When we left we saw people doing maintenance so hopefully for the summer season it has better amenities and improvements.

First, the location is ideal. The view from most of the property is stunning. Our room had gorgeous views, 2 queen beds, a fridge, shower with tub,and a lot of space- no bumping into each other. There's a laundry room with microwave in each building (there are 3 large buildings with guest rooms). There is a generous space for smokers. The folks here are the BEST! So helpful! Also, lots of outdoor seating so you can be part of the beautiful landscape. No down side.

Well presented and clean property and rooms. I stayed here with guests for my Falls Colours tour. Great buffer breakfast. As a tour operator it is important to have a place that builds confidence when booking that your know will be an enjoyable stay. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Future tours will definitely have Auberge Gisele's Inn on the list of places for consideration. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel has nice design, but the stay wasn’t very restful. The air conditioner was quite loud and turned on suddenly at night, the curtains offered little to no blackout, and the soundproofing was poor. I could hear footsteps and noise from other rooms. Overall, the place looks good but needs improvement to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep.

Overall, this hotel was a nice place to spend our 3-day stop in Baddeck, NS. The grounds are lovely, our room was very spacious and comfortable, the staff & service friendly and courteous. Most notable was the great job their housekeeping did to keep our room sparkling clean! If there was anything that should be considered for improvement, it would be the very poor reception the cable TV service had. Our room was not the only one noting this as our friend's room had the same issue. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Auberge Gisele's Inn is conveniently situated at the edge of Baddeck. Check-in was quick and easy and there was an elevator available for our room on the second floor. Their restaurant is open for both breakfast and dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend.

This Inn overlooks the water in Baddeck. The property has many well-tended gardens and fountains. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Our room was large, with a sofa near the windows, end tables with lights on both sides of the bed, and a refrigerator and Keurig coffeemaker. A lobby on each floor has a microwave. This property has a main building with a restaurant, and several 3-story outbuildings, so it can host large tour groups. Spaces in the parking lot closest to our building are quite narrow; our Prius could barely fit between the lines. A pickup truck drove in and then drove away to park in a secondary lot. Overall, this is a lovely and convenient place to stay when you visit Baddeck.

We enjoyed our stay at the Auberge Gisele Inn. It is within walking distance of the main part of Baddeck. Our only complaint is that the property was overly lighted all night and the window dressings in our room were not able to be drawn close. My wife had trouble sleeping with all of the light entering our window all night.

Room was great, view was wonderful. On-site restaurant for breakfast and dinner was reasonable and well prepared.

Our only issue was the TV/Cable picture was not 100% clear - staff attempted to reset the cable, but it did not resolve the issue (was not limited just to our room).

Overall, would recommend this property to anyone visiting Baddeck. Just a 2 hour drive to Skyline Trail.
