Rooms were nice and clean the tv didn't work came on intermediatly through the night they wouldn't switch rooms staff at the desk were rude to my daughter basically said deal with it . Cut my toe on tiles on pool to hot tub lip so did my daughter .

We spent a 3 day stay at this resort in the off season. While the weather was stormy, our visit was truly delightful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Being the off season we knew it would be quiet with some limitations, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And the Scenery is Magnificant!

Room was clean; staff friendly and informative. Beds were comfy. Several packs of guests roaming the halls and partying until quite late, and although the walls seemed reasonably soundproof, every sound from the halls drifted through the thin doors. Shower had good pressure but lukewarm was as hot as it got.

I fell in a pot hole walking from the pool to my room. Hurt my knee and hand. The walkway is not well lit and I didnt see the pot hole. Did not enjoy the rest of my stay. The staff were great getting bandages for my knee.

This in was a great place yo stay, the food was amazing. Staff was freindly. Rooms and shower were awesome with plenty of hot water. We have a dog, and the only complaint he had was the grass was so well cut there was none for him to eat. Other than that it was excellent!!! Will definitely come back.

Beautiful views and area but owner was not a friendly or people person at all. He did not allow us to have a later check out by an hour and stay until noon. We had arrived at 6pm the previous day.
We were located on the second floor and there are no elevators and they did not offer help to carry our suitcases up the stairs and so I put my back out.

My stay had a mix of pros and cons. The lobby and room had a noticeable musty smell and felt outdated and worn. Unfortunately, the room wasn't very quiet; I could hear everything from the room above, including running water and creaky floorboards, which made it difficult to relax. The check-in process also felt impersonal and lacked a welcoming feel.
On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable and the in-room coffee was a nice touch. The pool was also a good size and an enjoyable feature.

Very nice property in Beddeck at the start of the Cabot Trail. Our building and room was a little dated. Booked a double bed room and there was about a 10 inch spot between the bed and the wall with the bathroom door. Otherwise, would’ve liked to stay longer. Peaceful place surrounded by the lake and lots of green space.

A large resort on the lake. We stayed one night. The room was showing its age. The wall trim was damaged and bathrooms showed water damage. Our family of 4 was given a room with two double beds which was cosy. Room had no microwave . The staff were friendly and helpful. Good food in the pub.

It’s a beautiful property with many options for out door activities such as kayaking, boat rentals etc. There’s a lovely indoor pool, sauna and hot tub that are a welcome treat after a very long drive.
The restaurant and pub we pleasant and the food was good. The breakfast buffet was a nice start to the day, especially looking out at the water and boats.

The landscape is beautiful, with easy access to the beach. We enjoyed the restaurant that offers live music and appreciated the proximity of various dining options. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, we did notice spiders, flies, and mosquitoes in our room, indicating a need for pest control. Additionally, the toilet bowl is too low, which may not be safe for guests with knee problems or osteoarthritis.

Really great stay for our first night in NS. Room was on the smaller side and a bit dark, but very clean. I understand some rooms have been renovated and I don't believe we stayed in one, but we enjoyed the property and especially the Restaurant near the beach. Food was fantastic as was the server. Great overall stay. Quiet and very clean with lovely views of the beach. Staff were all very pleasant and accomodating.

Was the worst experience we had on our trip. The staff had no idea about anything on or off the resort, if you can call it that. I booked this hotel because it had a spa and a must eat restaurant but when we called to make spa appointment in advance we were met with a short employee tell us that they could not offer any of the spa services and that they close at 5 because people go to the pub in town. The restaurant onsite was closed guests staying there even though the front desk sent us there for food and they were making lunch for a buss tour but claimed they were closed otherwise. We arrived after 3 but were told only 1 room was ready, even though there were hardly any guests staying there. When we checked into our room there was a giant stain on the carpet, the room smelled bad, the toilet wouldn't flush and the sink leaked. When i tole the front desk she said \" i guess i will tell maintenence\" no appologies or concerns about or stay or satisfaction. This hotel shouldn't be called a resort it should be called a motel which is what it was. Old, outdated, and consiting of an unhelpful and unknowledgeable staff. Aside from thr location and the kind people in town i would not recommend this property to anyone.

Comfiest beds ever. Wasnt thrilled we had to cart everything up 2 flights of stairs. Rooms a bit on the small side. A/C was great. TV was tiny and not the greatest quality. We missed having a microwave. Ordered a grilled chicken burger (from their menu) but soon discovered it was a coated. Wasn't a fan. Overall a pretty good stay and was very clean.
