Nice, new, clean.

A nice, new minimalist hotel. Our room came equipped with a small kitchenette. We opted to save €5 by having no housekeeping done during our 2 day stay. The hotel is well located in Dornbirn.
It’s easy, clean and utilitarian. We like Harry’s Homes

most silly excuse ever, ....

they didn't clean up the room and didn't provide with fresh towels. The very low level excuse was COVID-19. They raise the profit with eliminating any service !!! The mentioned, that we need to ask for clean up during check in. But we had NO REGULAR check in - only late check in with key-Lock and received NO information about this situation. Finaly they gave us a lousy EUR 5,00 credit note. HOW POOOOOOOOR is this Hotel Chain ??????????

Nice staff but short on maintenance/cleaning.

There was no desk attendant but she emailed me with the key box access. The air conditioning did not work so we had to open the window all night. Some of the light switches had residue which I had to clean before daring to touch them.

I think the hotel has a very good price/service ratio. Clean, big rooms. Quiet area near the city center. No facilities like a spa, swimming pool or alike but if you stay for just a day or two this is the place to be.

Nice hotel. Very basic. Room decent size for Europe. Does not have a mini fridge, so beware if staying more than a few days. Nor do they provide a top sheet, only a duvet. A/C isn't adjustable to really cold, so was uncomfortable during the really warm nights. Very central location in this delightful town.

Harry's Home is closer to a hostel than a hotel.
- Room didn't have a fridge
- Bed was a queen or a king (don't remember) but with only one twin (single) size comforter, one pillow
- bathroom was clean, tiny shower, and a squeeze bottle for soap and another for the shower (the same!), no additional ammenities
- Service was abysmal. there was a kettle, with a packet of instant coffee on day 1. Used it. You only get one cup, and that cup was still sitting on the desk unwashed on day 2! No replacement coffee either. Called the front desk twice, still no service, excuse was that they couldn't find the coffee?!! What about the cup??!
Breakfast is not included, and not even an offer for a free cup of coffee from the lobby.
Furniture in the rooms is very cheap.
No stand to put the suitcase on, you get to use the couch (which is great if you're at all concerned about bedbugs, which I would be here)

Location is good, near downtown Dornbirn, walking distance from restos and shopping. That's honestly the only nice thing I can say about this hotel. Will not stay here again.

Enjoyed my stay here. Modern feel and very clean through out, but it isn't your normal hotel. The rooms are huge, because there is a kitchen in each room. Wardrobe was massive, I ended up getting dressed and undressed in the wardrobe. Was coinvent to do so. Staff were helpful, but not the most cheerful and I didn't have glasses and towels replaced in my room had to ask for them.

A comfortable and quiet hotel

A very friendly and warm welcome. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean, functional and comfortable. Each room is sound proofed so you don't hear any noise from other guests. Location wise the hotel is centrally located in the middle of Dornbirn and close to shops, restaurants and transportation.

Harry's home is central to Dornbirn city centre and 3 minutes walk to the train station. It's a brand new, ultra contemporary hotel suitable for short stays and business trips. The rooms are modern and comfortable with plenty of space and great en suite facilities.

This is a nice little find. We were looking for something just to spend the night along our travel route and found this hotel conveniently located for our plans. The hotel is very modern and minimalist. Everything very well maintained and clean. A big plus is the coin operated laundry machines. Very convenient for us travelers.

However, after we had placed two full loads of laundry in the washers, we realized that the dryer was not working! We ended up with all these wet clothes which we had to pack and depart with. When we asked the lady at the front desk she was not really concerned or tried to help us in any way. We asked if there was a laundry facility nearby so that we could dry our clothes and she pointed us to a shopping plaza. We arrived there only to find that this was not a laundry facility but a dry cleaning service, which was of no use for us. This attitude of the front desk lady left us with a bad impression but I guess we were just not lucky that day. Breakfast was good.

The other inconvenience we found was that the bathroom door is a glass door that does not seal properly and does not offer any privacy.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel, if the dryers were working properly.

NO STAFF AFTER MIDNIGHT

HOTEL IS MODERN AND ATTRACTIVE BUT THERE ARE SOME LIMITATIONS TO THE TYPICAL STAY. WE HAD REQUESTED A ROOM WITH A TUB BUT THIS WAS NOT AVAILABLE WHEN WE ARRIVED.
WE ARRIVED AT JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT NOT REALIZING THAT THE DESK STAFF WENT HOME AT MIDNIGHT AND WE MIGHT NOT HAVE HAD A ROOM AT ALL. AS IT WAS, WE WERE UNABLE TO MAKE SOME ROOM REQUESTS UNTIL THE MORNING.

2 WASHERS ARE AVAILABLE BUT ONLY ONE DRYER WHICH IS NOT ABLE TO HANDLE ONE WASH LET ALONE TWO. THIS IS UNFORTUNATE BECAUSE ON AN ON SITE LAUNDRY CAN BE USEFUL.

Very nice place. Staff are courteous and friendly. Parking is very strange, there doesn't seem to be a way for the reception to let anyone in without a room key, so if you head to the parking lot, unless you've already checked in, you can't get in...and neither can anyone behind you!

great location

No complaints at all. I had wanted to stay in Bregenz but couldn't find an affordable room. Harry's Home in Dornbirn is a short walk to the train station and I could get to Bregenz in fifteen minutes. The hotel itself is new, stylish and spotless.Highly recommended.

Our stay was very fine. A VERY modern hotel - but still cosy and charming. We stayed there on the night where the final game in football EM was played. On the square in the old town nearby we watched the game together with the whole "village". Extraordinairy !

Hard to beat Harry's!

I travel for a living and I have stayed at every level of hotel in nearly every part of the world. Last week, on a whim, I decided to try Harry's Home, and I am so stoked that I did. It is completely awesome...from the rooms to the amenities to the staff. Much better than Novatel/Sofitel, they totally make you feel like you are hanging out at some really cool/laid back but super clean persons house. I wish there were more of Harry's Home's, and I would stay here over any other hotel. Big added bonus...they have small kitchens in the rooms, laundry facilities and you can walk anywhere from the front door.

What a wonderful surprise!

This hotel was near perfect in all aspects - walking distance to the center with beautiful historic buildings, a grocery store, and resturaunts with typical austrian food. Dornbirn was a gem off the beaten track and wonderful place to stop off, walk the center, and the head back to a great hotel. There was a washer/dryer there which was useful as well!

Very Impressive Hotel

We were very impressed with everything about this hotel.....from the price, to the location, to the standard of the room......but most of all by the warmth and frendlieness shown by the staff who really did make us feel very welcome.
We would recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues as an ideal base for exploring all areas of Voralberg (and beyond). The hotel is only a two minute walk from the bus/train station, and the transport links are both frequent and reasonably priced. The town of Dornbirn itself is lovely and well worth a visit.
A big well done and thank you to eveyone at Harry's Home for making our holiday a special one.

New Hotel, helpful staff, and good Dornbirn location.

Hotel was brand new and was very clean and comfortable. It is a great location in downtown Dornbirn and conveniently located to the train station, the town square, and 2 markets. On Saturday mornings in the town square they have a wonderful farmers market where there is a wide variety of fine local products.

The concept of the Hotel is to pay for only what you need which worked out great for us. We parked on the street and made our own breakfast to save a little money.

Harry's Home liegt sehr zentral, ist durch sehr gute Isolation dennoch wunderbar ruhig. Fenster und Türen lassen Lärm draußen.
Das Zimmer war geräumig, viel Stauraum, hell, gutes Bettzeug (die Matratze hat leider eine "laute" Oberfläche), das Bad perfekt und die Duschkabine suppt nicht. Wasserkocher und Kaffee- u. Teeutensilien runden die Einrichtung ab.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut, es blieben keine Wünsche offen.
Die Mitarbeiter* waren allesamt sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Meinem Zimmerwunsch wurde entsprochen.
Sehr zu empfehlen.

Malheureusement et malgré le confort proposé (literie ok, chambre spacieuse, services), nous avons eu la chambre 105 qui est bien insonorisée des autres, mais pas de la rue ! Il y a un défaut à la fenêtre qui fait que le bruit des voitures n'est pas aussi atténué qu'il devrait l'être... donc il se propage dans la chambre, or elle donne sur une rue assez fréquentée. Vraiment dommage car tout le reste est bien, mais quand on va à l'hotel c'est pour dormir, donc c'est un élément très important d'avoir le moins de bruit possible. Et vu le prix (> 204 € pour une chambre triple), pour moi c'est décevant.
