Horrible! I really did try to see the best in the special offer rate, but I ended up leaving after 20 minutes of checking in to a nearby hotel. The place is centrally located; however, it’s Run down, elevator doesn’t work and the toilet didn’t flush. I was ok with the ant on the table however, I knew it was time to leave when i killed the cucarachas and heard the mosquito buzz.

They took way to long to check me in, the lady checking people in seemed very inexperienced and once I got my room the blinds were all broken and the beds were so hard and old with old and dated sheets. Very disappointed.

Disgraceful. Excrement all around the toilet, no towels, hairs all over the very tired sheets, dirty carpets, windowsills and a shower that was unusable. We checked in, went to our rooms and checked straight back out. The hotel told us we’d get a refund and then told Expedia we’d stayed for the 5 nights. I wouldn’t stay here if they paid me.

The first night, they let me know the elevator was out of service and they give me the room in the 7th floor. Is not bad but the stairs where very unsafe and dark, i have to take my phone flash light. Next day i ask for diferent room and they move me to 3 floor wich has not views at all same thing withs stairs, the third night they ask told me that they dont allow pets and my daughter have her little companion pet, thay ask me if i can lefmy dog out of the hotel i will be ok to stay. This was told me by the manager herself. I told her that in the website they allow pets, she just say no, or i can complaint to get a refund. When i stay on hotels i be sure to give nice tips to get a great service, this time that do not work, anyway i went to another hotel the flamingo where i got the service i was looking. I love it. Thank you hotel flamingo!

Depends on what you are used to. I would liken what I experienced to a public area that happened to be clean enough to sleep in. The carpet floors reminded me of old casino carpet. It’s a huge building with probably a lot of vacancy in a downtown area. Maybe adjust your expectations. I would say it is worth what they charge for what you get out of it.

There was nothing I liked about this property. First they do not abide by their policy. When I got there they said they had no rooms, no AC, no parking. Even after stating in their amenities that they offer parking, AC. It was the worst experience ever with hotel and Expedia as well. They both refuse to issue a refund even after they were at fault. I booked for two rooms with parking and AC included in the amenities. The front desk rep said they had no rooms available, then she said we have your rooms, but just so you know there is no AC. It was late and I had my kids, so I told her I would take the rooms. Then she said and I quote \"Just so you know we do not have parking for your cars\" I asked her what do you mean you offer parking and AC in your listing when I booked, she said \" well that is just a way to sell out rooms\" shame on her customer service and how the hotel handles situations. I asked her to cancel my reservation, she told me I had to go thru Expedia to cancel. I called Expedia and they said the hotel refused. They just blamed each other back and forth. I would like to mention I called Expedia right away to share my experience and a rep advised me he would cancel the reservation and I would get my refund. All of a sudden the call disconnected. I was tired so I called the next day and another rep answered and my refund was denied. I had to pay hotel twice because they refused to issue a refund after they had already said they would. Be very careful with Expedia

The only good is location. The staff is teying to help, but they are limited what they can do. No air conditioning not even a small fan. No shuttle service, so why offer it. Sheets are torn and dingy and so are towels. They try to clean with what they are given. Owners just want to make money and don't care if the customers are comfortable. Never again, I got heat stroke doctor said I needed a cool place to stay.

The best part of my staff was the parking attendants, they were wonderful. The rooms were very old. Our first room's shower drain was not working so we were changed rooms. Then we weren't given additional soap and shampoo because they only give you one per stay. No WiFI in the rooms. The room for our daughters' was bad as well. The window handle was broken and the electrical wire for the door was all gerry-rigged.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleaning service was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. Bedaheets were clean. I was disappinted in the condition of the property. Blinds were broken and dirty. Carpet, towels, and lamp shades were old and needs replacement. However, the property is located downtown and near all shops and is very inexpensive. I slept comfortably. If Inreturn to Irapuato, I will stay here again and will know what to expect.

Churches everywhere!

Great area. Just be prepared for the church bells that start at 7:00 am.
Hotel staff was amazing they went out of their way to make our visit more enjoyable.
The street food was great along with many street vendors selling local arts and crafts. Great markets and shops.
Overall very safe and friendly area.
Did I mention the food? Incredible food.

The hotel is very old, poorly cleaned, you can hear the other people as if they were in your room.
I found and complained twice about cockroaches.
The hotel made a mistake and marked me as checking out a day earlier, so gave keys to my room to another host who stormer into my room while I was sleeping.
Overall a terrible place, I had to stay there because there was no vacancy elsewhere

Nothing Because I wasn’t able to stay the room wasn’t ready and the time the give me my room the tv was broken no light in the room no air conditioner it was broke and they don’t have any other room for me I was in the middle off the night looking for a hotel near by because they are very unprepared nobody to help you and they never told me they room was duty and all the appliances where broken into night time no manager in the property and I stilly not getting my money back disappointed I pay for 5 days I wasn’t able to stay at all .

i would say mostly it is a nice place, near everything. only complaint, the tv remote did not work neither did the buttons on the tv set. therefore i was unable to watch tv. the water on the shower was going down the drain too slow.and last, the wify never worked.... other than that, it is a nice stay

Hard to find place. We had to call the front desk for directions. The night guy was directional issues and made it even worse to find the hotel. Parking lot is limited so you have to leave the key of your car with the lot attendant so they can rearrange the location of your vehicle constantly. When I've was requested, the front desk attendant said the services were closed for the night! It was about 10 pm. The AC unit didn't work well, making the night a bit uncomfortable. Overal, I wouldn't stay again in this hotel

This hotel is in a great area with lots to do. However, hotel service is awful. There was no electricity when we arrived with our luggage which ment we had to use the stairs. No help was offered. The shower head leaked all night and they didn’t change our bed sheets. There was dust everywhere.

At arrival short in staff
Once checked in, keys to rooms do not work, have to go to the reception back and forth like 4 times.
Person at the reception complaining that responsible person is not in and he does not know. (Like if I was going to solve the issues)
Once in the room, no soap, no shampoo, no hot water.
Not Hotel fault but to consider. Two churches very close by so bells sounding early in the morning. Big square near by and birds singing since 4 am, so do not expect much sleep.
Over all, I will never come back to the hotel even if it is for free!!!

Even though is in the historic center an caters to business clientele is missing a couple details to be three star hotel.
Has no bellboy, no curtains on windows except for some old blinds. Old carpet in the rooms and cheap covers.
Overall I guess is fine for 25 dollars per night.

It is an over all nice place. The service is great. They are doing some remodeling. Yes, lots of the reviews are accurate. But it has a lot of potential. Is in the centro so your right in the middle of everything you need. I thought it was great. Very affordable and very very safe. Check out Che bar... Cool little place.

The location is good as it in the heart I'df town and with access to bank, church, market, drug store and practically all you would need and within walking distance. Unfortunately and the most important, not only our room but he common areas are infestated with bugs (roches) when we first entered the room, the bathroom had a pretty bad odor ad we saw 2 bugs. I was ready to leave but we were too tired and needed the rest. I reported the issue to front desk and yes they did clean the room very well that day. We only needed the room to sleep in and to avoid hustles we completed our stay but decided not to ever come back. I kept my luggage and belongings well locked during our stay and asked front desk to hold some of my important electronics and docs while I was gone during the day.

Old elevator, floor moves as tiles are loose. You have to ask for hot water to take showers. Towels are not always replaced so you have to call to get clean ones. Location is the only good thing.

Good stay but upon arrival, the hotel staff said they hadn't received confirmation for our stay. I called hotel.com and explained situation and they called the San Francisco hotel staff and cleared up their error. The hotel staff then reimbursed our funds when all was explained. Didn't think we had to clarify our situation even though we had a confirmation number from hotel.com

Unfortunatelly this hotel was a bad option. The rooms are dirty. Also the toilet and the shower are in a really bad conditions. There are not air-conditioner in the rooms and there is not a kitchenette in the rooms. DO NOT BOOK HERE. When I got there they did not have my reservaton, I spent an hour and half at the phone to get a room, when finally got it, the room hasn't any air-conditioner and it was just because I booked throught hotels.com that I got a room with a fan; the manager and the crew of the hotel do not help the guests at all.

Excellent location in Historic Town center

Irapuato is not a tourist destination. Agricultural/industrial,mid-size city. Speaking spanish a plus. Great non-tourist immersion in Mexican life style...no frills. Great market and plaza area. Friendly people. As usual, magnificent old cathedrals. Good for a day or two. Nice restaurants in the pedestrian street behind the Sears store. ATM's service US credit cards for cash. Some meso-american ruins south east of town about 20 miles.

Right in the middle of everything

I must admit that all my expectations were surpassed. The room is BIG, and I mean BIG, the beds are confy, the towels are soft, the water is hot, and the hotel itself is in the middle of town, walking distance to everywhere! Ask for a room in the 9th floor, the views are breath-taking! A great little jewel downtown Irapuato.

El hotel sienod honesta tiene la.mejor ubicación, realmente es privilegiada, esta en el corazón de Irapuato, se encuentra cerca de tooooodo, farmacias, tiendas, restaurantes, transporte en vdd lo mejor que tiene. Hablando de la recepcionista es cero amable, mal gestuda, poco amigable, habia otrsd que en verdad muy diferente. Habitaciones, HORRIBLES, así lo describo, viejas, sucias, cero mantenimiento, con cucarachas, el baño descuidado, no colocan amenidades, ropa de cama vieja, toallas de baño viejas, alfombras manchadas, persianas que no sirven y llenas de polvo, las ventanas no cierran bien. Las instalaciones son viejas, mienten que el.elevador se acaba de descomponer y llevaba meses, entonces ufff subir escaleras.
Realmente la tarifa que cobran no vale en absoluto por lo que brindan, su ubicación es lo unico maravilloso, ni su personal te hace querer volver. Estavionamineto si tiene pero sujeto a disponibilidad. Sirve para medio pasar la noche ya que ni los controles sirven y la programación que dan pues horrible, internet malo, cero tecnológico el asunto.

Pésimo Hotel me dieron habitaciones en el 6 y noveno piso y el elevador solo funcionó para subir las maletas el día de la llegada ya de ahí se descompuso y había que subir por las escaleras con niños y personas adultas que llevaba . El estacionamiento una porquería tuve que dejar mi carro en estacionamiento privado . El hotel es viejo y no les veo ganas de renovarlo y es una lástima porque es muy céntrico . No lo recomiendo para nada
