We didnt have a good experience, staff at the front desk would give me proper invoice for the prepaid payment , they told me I have to request this from Expedia…at any rate, didnt want to continue arguing about it as I was in a hurry to leave. Important to mention that the property and facility in general looks dirty without proper maintenance, mold in the bathrooms and my room had floor carpets with stains.
Will not return to this hotel in the future.

Look for another hotel

We arrived at the hotel around 8 PM and there were no front desk agents for 30 minutues. The rooms are dated. For breakfast, instead of the restaurant close to the front desk offering breakfast, I had to walk around to the very back of the hotel to have breakfast. To enter the casino you need to pay $5 dollars. There is no bar in the casino. In short, save you money, don't stay in this hotel!!!!!

This hotel was an excellent choice for an American. The room was big and very clean. Some of the staff spoke English and were very helpful getting around and finding a taxi. There is no room service. The attached restaurant was not good for a non-Spanish speaker -- no printed menus just online. I could access the menu but there was no English version. Even though I have a pretty good Spanish vocabulary, I couldn't understand the food choices and no one was there to explain. But, there are lots of restaurants around that were more than sufficient.

Overall, the stay was enjoyable. There is a casino attached to the complex. I don’t gamble, but it seemed pretty nice. The hotel is also right next to the beach which was great. There is also a good restaurant attached to the hotel.

It could be perfect, excellent view, very good dinner options, just across the beach. But they currently are working in their parking, and that make hard to find them, and we have to unpack all our staff alone. Its seems that this issue will be arranged soon, but we didn’t get any advice, and as munwife is pregnant, it wasn’t a good first impression. After this, everything perfect.

Check-in and check-out process is quite slow because there is only 1 staff member to process all people. The bed is really comfortable and you get beautiful views but no chairs on the balconies which is a shame. Overall, renovation or better maintenance of the rooms is needed. Breakfast is just average and service is none existing. Not good and customer oriented service for a hotel which claims 5 stars. The cleanliness of the rooms could be better. It's still a good hotel but wouldn't stay more than 1 or 2 nights.

This is a very appealing hotel, right on the beach and walking distance to the old Lighthouse and many beachside restaurants. The staff is very helpful and can communicate in English when necessary. Our room had a beautiful vista of the ocean and was very spacious and comfortable with an excellent king size bed.

be careful of the parking garage!

The hotel was very nice, the staff very accommodating, but the last day of our 5 day stay, our car was heavily damaged in their parking garage. Someone keyed the car all around, not once but several times. Deep gouges which will require a total paint job. And the car was parked right under their security camera! People in Chile have no respect for other people's property. I have lived in this country for three years and even the natives will agree with that statement!

Stayed here on the Santiago leg of our honeymoon. The hotel itself is very classy with excellent service, however it is not stuffy. The staff were all pretty young around our age in the thirties. Not to be an ignorant tourist but I really appreciated that they spoke enough English to help us without the need for me to bust out google translate.

The room is clean, bed is plush and comfy. Bathroom is not large but definitely beautiful and it's a weird comment but the plumbing was good enough that I didn't smell anything. The last five star hotel we stayed at in La Serena smelled a bit...

Their restaurant downstairs is AMAZING as is their breakfast buffet. They have an indoor/outdoor bar at the top level with live music on Tuesdays and a very inviting lounge in the lobby full of sofas, books and a bartender. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Btw free minibar is unlimited water bottles and Coca Cola although I was expecting chips and cookies for my pregnant tummy... :)

We were extremely pleased with our rooms at the hotel. We got suites on the 9th floor that were tastefully decorated, huge with very large bathrooms and a large walk-in closet. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was included; it was buffet and rather hectic. The hotel adjoins a casino, which may not be everyone's cup of tea, but the rooms were far away from the noise and we had a very quiet and restful night.

We did not exactly \"enjoy\" our stay... while the accommodations were very comfortable, the service overall in the hotel was really quite bad, (with the exception of the bellmen). All the other employees had a terrible attitude toward the non Casino VIP guests ...I will explain; after traveling from Miami/Santiago/La Serena, we finally arrived and were in the middle of the checkin process, when I was suddenly asked by a young lady at the front desk named Fiorella, \"to step aside please, so I can assist one of our PREFERRED GUESTS\". My wife and I were stunned! As I made my surprise and displeasure of what just took place, Fiorella told me this was company policy to assist PREFERRED guests FIRST! There were a few other incidents that led to the low rating given, which do not coincide with the good actual room quality. Room service requests needed to be followed up on multiple times for simple requests such as ice, towels, car... Lastly, this is a Casino Hotel, which at night, attracts all sorts of shady characters such as ladies looking for work and their \"handlers\". On the lighter note in the Casino bar, not even a napkin or straw accompanies the overpriced drinks. Overall: stay somewhere else if you want to be treated with respect and hospitality. We will avoid this hotel like the plague.

Comfortable and clean hotel

We had a very comfortable stay. Our guestroom is very spacious and clean with a balcony overlooking the ocean. There is a nice spa/wellness center with an outside infinity pool and an indoor pool. Both pools are very nice. The only complaint is the requirement to purchase a swim cap in order to use the indoor pool. The restaurant had good choices on the menu. I would definitely stay there again.

The facilities were first class, the staff was always helpful and friendly and the room was clean, well maintained, comfortable and the view was awesome! The hotel buidling and facilities are great. It also has many features and it is conveniently located. The service however, could be much improved.

It is not that the staff is rude or not polite, but rather unprepared and a bit loss. In several occasions the waiters would not know what they was available or not and things take a long time to get. If you ask a waiter or a service person for something, expect them to acknowledge what you say politely, and then continue doing whatever is they are doing, like stacking glasses or plates, and start taking care of your request 10 or 15 minutes later. This should be a problem that would seem easy to take care, but unfortunately is endemic in the country. Clients came last, or at least after the waiter's personal to do list.

Overall it is a very nice hotel, but don't be surprised if it takes 15 minutes to get a couple of cocktails in a half empty bar which is surprisingly overstaffed, yet inefficient.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel de la Bahia. The rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable.
The hotel is connected to a casino, offers serveral restaurants, a night club and a fitness center and spa. Beach access is just across the street.
My favorite part of the hotel was the spa which offers both indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness center and a spacious lounging area in the lockerroom with jacuzzi, hot and cold plunge pools, steamroom and sauna. A great way to start your day or relax after a long day of sightseeing.
My only complaint is the the location. Although the hotel/casino sit right on the beach it's a little far from both the downtown areas of La Serena and Coquimbo. It is necessary to either drive or take a cab to enjoy the nightlife in either cities.

La gente de recepción no es muy amable en su trato, a excepción de una de ellas, que lamentablemente no recuerdo su nombre, pero estaba en turno del último día de mi estadía.
Mi habitación no tenía citófono ni caja de seguridad, no hubo una predisposición inmediata a resolver mi problema, tuve que exigir cambio de habitación, a lo cual finalmente accedieron. Me sorprende que al ser un hotel 5 estrellas no hacen sentir al pasajero como corresponde, me tocó ver situaciones de reclamo de otros pasajeros con el mismo trato.
Las camas y la habitación en general muy cómodas, la vista increíble al mar.
El desayuno, esperaba mas, el primer día muy básico, con detalles como por ejemplo que huevos estuvieran fríos por no contar con un recipiente tapado, segundo día hubo mas variedad. Tiene todo para ser un hotel increíble en su condición de 5 estrellas, pero depende sólo dep personal a cargo.

Lo que más disfrutamos fue la vista desde la habitación y la piscina temperada. En la habitación no nos dejaron batas, dejaron pocas toallas y además el recepcionista nos indicó que debíamos llevar las toallas de la habitación al spa, algo que no hicimos e igualmente nos entregaron en el spa. Los lugares del hotel están lejanos entre sí (habitaciones, Restaurant, spa, estacionamiento) y conectados a través de túneles que pareciera que están en construcción. Desayuno buffet muy poco variado.

El estacionamiento era compartido con lo del casino, y por lo tanto en la noche habia que rezar para encontrar uno, deberian tener estacioamiento exclusivo para el hotel. No vi o no ofrecieron valet parking .

Es un buen hotel, en cuanto a instalaciones, pero le falta mantención. Estuvimos 6 noches y 1 de los 3 ascensores fuera de servicio siempre. La ventana del baño al abrirla con excremento de pájaro, nunca ha sido limpiada. La tina tapada. Un día sin agua caliente. Para promocionarlo como un hotel 5 estrellas no es. El desayuno bastante al debe, sin considerar que hay recorrer un laberinto para llegar a un restaurant que esta aún en limpieza de la noche anterior. Las habitaciones son cómodas y la vista hermosa.

Limpieza excelente servicio desayuno excelente (dada la pandemia), pero servicio de botones PÉSIMO, no atinan ni ayudan están sobrando muy mala atención, respecto de recepción por ahí inconvenientes varios de falla cable y etc respuestas pueriles y evidentemente falsas tipo “ mejóral”… no solucionan ni ayudan…. El Hotel Enjoy tiene muy buenas instalaciones, la habitación nos pareció bastante amplia, cómoda y limpia. La atención fue excelente y los desayunos fueron muy buenos. Algunos comentarios: la taza del baño tenia dificultades para bajar (muy negativo); El area de desayunos estaba muy alejada y era complicado llegar, parecía un laberinto; El casino tenia muchas maquinas en mantenimiento y lugares cerrados sin considerar la estética del lugar, pocas mesas para sentarse a tomar algo.

Lamentablemente el hotel por fuera muy sucio , los dos días que estuve no se limpiaron los papeles y sobres de condimentos que habían en todo el estacionamiento pese a informar la situación.

La recepción cero amabilidad mi habitación no estaba lista has despues de las 16. Me cobraron un precio superior al informado en la web. Ningun dia nos dejaron toallas en el baño, hubo que pedir y se demoró. El desayuno era demasiado lejos y en sectores del casino no hotel(no apto para niños). Sin estacionamiento disponible para huéspedes, teniendo q dejar el auto en la calle. Tv antigua muy pequeña donde el canal de los JJOO se veia mal con lineas verticales. No le alcanza a mas de 2 estrellas.

El hotel está impecable, y las habitaciones son espectaculares . Estuve en la suite de 90 metros y era excelente, en el piso 12, con una vista de lujo.

Como consejo indicar la espera en los desayunos como esta en remodelación es muy pequeño creo que tienen espacio sufiente para no hacer esperar a los huéspedes.
la piscina la deben habilitar y no es por el tema de pandemia que la tienen cerrada me parece poco serio que indiquen en el Instagram que esta habilitada y uno llegue y no lo este.

Hotel en franca decadencia

Estuvo bien , pero se nota un hotel descuidado , habitaciones con las cortinas sucias , mala la television es cable pero poca muy poca variedad a parte que se ve muy mal y el televisor viejo , pequeño y pasado de moda, control de acceso del elevador con fallas continuas , focos quemados en areas comunes , se nota que bajaron el ritmo del mantenimiento del hotel , la vista desde arriba hacia el techo del casino mas deprimente no puede ser .
