This was my 5th time staying at Enjoy Pucón, and overall I still had a great experience.

Not everything was perfect this time around. I was given a rear-facing room instead of a lake-view room, which was a bit disappointing. Also, when I asked for ice, I was surprised that they charged to bring it up to the room. Small things like that can hurt the hotel’s reputation.

The spa facilities are okay. I spent two days there and paid over $150 for additional massages. Unfortunately, both sessions were with the same therapist and the quality wasn’t great. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t match the level I expected for the price.

But what really made the difference during this stay was **Soledad Carvajal at reception**.

I was in a tough situation and needed a place to work remotely on short notice. Soledad completely saved me. She took the time to understand my problem and found a solution, helping me get set up with a spot where I could work. Honestly, she saved my day.

Moments like that are what hospitality is really about. While small inconveniences can happen anywhere, people like Soledad are the reason I keep coming back. She turned a stressful situation into a great experience and reminded me why I’ve stayed here five times.

Employees like Soledad Carvajal make the stay worth every penny.

Rooms either look on the lake or toward the volcano. Hotel is in an old grandiose style, but somewhat updated. Not sure our a/c was working, but open windows seemed to work well. Staff very attentive. Parking not uncomplicated unless you do valet. Pools crowded, but decent fitness center. Breakfast is a buffet with decent offerings. Weekends have a loud EDM show that goes to 1am+; if you are located above it, good luck sleeping.

This was one of my favorite hotels with a beautiful view of the lake! You’re literally walking distance to everything so don’t really need a car once you’re staying here. Staff was very help and breakfast was amazing! Casino across the street was fun with Karaoke. Highly recommend if you are in the area

I’ve stayed here several times and I was most impressed this last time. Winter is still a great time to stay here. The spa is great with indoor pool and sauna. Very tasteful upgrades done to the entire hotel and the breakfast buffet was superb.

El lugar donde está ubicado es inmejorable sin embargo es una edificación vieja que pide una remodelación inmediata.
El buffet del desayuno muy bueno pero no reponían si se acababa algo.
Les falta personal así que las esperas son continuas. Me quedaría de nuevo por donde está pero con una tarifa más baja.

Bad experience not worth the price

We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. Upon arriving at 1 pm after a long trip, we were informed that check-in was only available after 4 pm. When we asked if they could call us in case a room became available earlier, the receptionist rudely declined, stating that she was too busy handling check-outs to make such calls.

Once we were finally able to check in, the bathroom in our room had a terrible odor. We went to the lobby to report the issue, and the staff’s initial response was, “Is it that bad?” Eventually, they sent housekeeping, who suggested changing rooms. We didn’t receive our new room until almost 6 pm.

The breakfast was another major letdown. The quality was poor, and one day many items ran out—no eggs, no ham, nothing worthwhile. I’ve attached a photo to illustrate the situation.

While the hotel’s location was convenient, and the valet and luggage staff were helpful, everything else was subpar. Overall, the experience was far from what we expected for the price. Definitel not worthy

Couple for 1 week and see around Pucon & Villarica! The Hotel was fine in the center of town! I was here 20 years ago when is was the Gran Hotel Pucon. Enjoy is making the hotel grand again, slowly but steady my Room 422 was spectacular with lake view! Yes definitely would come back!! Ahh break fast was adequate and need improvement

Quiero expresar mi descontento por la experiencia que he tenido durante mi estancia en sus instalaciones. Inicialmente, reservé una suite y me asignaron una habitación que parecía haber sido adaptada de una bodega en el segundo piso, con vista a la entrada del hotel. El techo de madera hacía que cada paso de los huéspedes de arriba se sintiera como un riesgo de que se caiga. Esta situación afectó mi descanso, ya que cualquier movimiento de los vecinos de arriba, incluso ir al baño, me despertaba.

En segundo lugar, me cobraron $400.000CLP como depósito para abrir el frigobar. A pesar de salir a cenar, al regresar, seguía cerrado. Tuve que llamar dos veces y esperar 40 minutos para que lo abrieran, ya que necesitaba agua para mis medicamentos.

Por último, no había agua caliente. Tras el viaje, quería ducharme, pero no fue posible. Llamé dos veces y esperé 40 minutos para que lo solucionaran.

Servicio de comida a la habitación llegó frío.

El segundo día me hicieron UPG de habitación, luego de reclamar. Fue buena la atención al momento de reclamar.

Location and view is fabulous! The lobby staff is efficient and friendly! The new upgraded rooms are great and very comfortable! Unfortunately, the quality of the food offered at the breakfast buffet, and the service is truly lacking! I’d pay more for the accommodation if they could make the breakfast experience a good one!!

Enjoy Pucon disapointment

I was in Pucon for my son's wedding. He had booked the Bambu Lodge for the wedding (3 nights) so I just needed a room for the first night in town. For ease I booked the Bambu lodge and then they cancelled on me so I needed to find a room for that one night and not being sure about other hotels I found (which had better ratings, but only a few ratings) I decided to stay at Enjoy. The pictures made it look awesome and liked the lakefront location. Well, the common areas were very nice, the location was great but the room was really dated, run down and in poor condition. I just figured this was the norm, it's a foreign country, first time there... It was also very loud until midnight or later so don't plan to go to bed early.

This place has great amenities and a wonderful location right on Pucón’s black sand beach. It’s also very close to all of the restaurants and shops in town. However, the hotel is old and the rooms are quite dated. Sound travels easily through the walls, to the point that it sounds like your neighbors are in the room with you. If you’re a light sleeper and don’t stay up partying until early morning, you may find this place a less relaxing than expected.

The hotel is very old and in desperate need of a face lift, it is dark and rooms are dirty. The roof was falling down in places and even had security tape to stop people walking in places in the garden due to the risk of falling tiles and brickwork. The heating system was on full (not able to turn off) even though it was summer and no fan when asked. We also did some overnight washing expecting the clothes at 12 noon 'as the paperwork said' only to have housekeeping come to our room at 12 midnight and insist on a cash payment or we had to go to reception to pay by card. No option to add to our room bill. We left early just to get out of there. The staff were helpful they can only do so much. I feel they should have emailed us to let us know the hotel is having an ongoing building project instead of having a letter next to the bed so we could have decided if we really wanted to stay there or book something else. I'm sure there are better options in the town

You will Enjoy Pucón if you stay here

We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was super helpful. We arrived early and while they could not check in right away, they gave us wristbands to use the amenities while we waited. Concierge was amazing - she booked our whitewater rafting trip and gave us hiking trail recommendations. The hotel was built in the 1930’s and can best be described as shabby-chic. Very beautiful grounds, just a bit old and beds are not that comfortable. Free kayaks before 1pm to use on the lake were a nice perk! Gym had a great selection of machines and free weights. You had to wear a swim cap to use the indoor pool which we found a bit odd, so we just used the outdoor one which was also heated (but still a bit on the cooler side). Rooms don’t have a/c but temp drops at night so you’ll be fine. Parking lot is 2 blocks away next to the casino (which is not located on the property either). Breakfast is included and is terrific! Great place!

This hotel has one good thing and one good thing only: the views. If you are facing the lake, you have a view of the lake and if you are facing the city, you will have a majestic view of the Villarica volcano (assuming you are visiting during sunny days). Beyond that, this hotel is in critical need of some TLC. I had been to this hotel about 10 years ago and it hasn't changed a bit since Enjoy casinos took over. Not a single renovation has been done nor a single stain has been removed. Black mold in the bathrooms, hard beds, furniture from the 60s (not well kempt), and a buffet breakfast with a terrible selection of food come standard with each room. Check-in is at 4:00 PM and it seems to be hard rule, I didn't see a single person allowed to check in early despite rooms being available. Parking is 2 blocks away across from the casino (which is not on-site - a plus for us, might be not so great for gamblers). Overall, I am not sure this hotels qualifies for the 3 stars it has; perhaps 2 or 2.5 at most.

The stat was wery good. We arrived in Pucón with the night bus without having booked any place to stay. After booking the hotel online we were able to check in and get our room right away. Which was amazing since we had been travelling with bus for almost over 20 hours.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Great service.
The breakfast was good. But I missed some vegetables, there were no tomatoes or cucumbers we could put on the food or eat by the side.

Fantastic location with beautiful views

Gran Pucon has a great location overlooking the blacksand beach. The standard rooms were sparse on toiletries, but rooms were large.
There is no complimentary bottles of water. There are 2 pools with access to the beach.
We will stay again at £57.

I stayed here three nights. The hotel is old and a little dated, but clean and well located. Pucon is very walkable so anyplace in town is close to everything. The breakfast was good. The wifi was very substandard. This is the biggest hotel in town, there's no excuse for miserable wifi.

A localização é única ! Em frente ao lago e com vista para o vulcão ! No centro, ao lado de todos restaurantes e comércio da cidade !
Os quartos estão recém reformados , ar condicionado novo , banheiro grande e bom .. só precisam tirar aquela cortina do box !
Os funcionários são muito amáveis e prestativos !
É um hotel com vida, DJ nos finais de semana … muitas famílias !
O restaurante do hotel é muito bom! Café da manhã muito bom também !
Os corredores dos aptos, a piscina e a academia necessitam de uma reforma e atualização !
Voltaria com certeza !

I had to pay the value-added tax even though I thought it was already included.
The hotel was on the beach, but access to it was closed because they only open it in summer—which makes no sense, as several guests wanted to walk there.
There was only one can of Diet Coke in the minibar, even though the room was for two people.

Atendimento cordial e profissional. Achamos que havia muito barulho e ruído que ouvíamos apartir do quarto. Banheiro mal cheioroso, suspeito que devido ao refluxo da tubulação de esgoto. As instalações são bacanas! Vista para o lago espetacular! Poderia ter mais elevadores 2 apenas parecem insuficientes. Café da manhã bom, além da excelente localização. Não usamos piscina. Só o restaurante uma vez.

Al hotel le falta mantención especialmente baños comunes fuera de servicio, no hay lugares comunes para estar, nos toco mucha lluvia y frio y solo podíamos estar en las habitaciones, el desayuno pobre, la atención básica y poco atenta. La vista y la ubicación son excelentes pero se confían de eso y el hotel deja que desear.

Fue una mala experiencia ya que al legar nos hicieron esperar más de 1 hora para entregar la habitación por que tenía problemas , al final pedimos cambio de habitación, respecto a la limpieza iban a las 18:00 hrs para hacer limpieza, el personal con poca voluntad,pedimos un quitasol el día que estuvo callando agua y el personal no quiso llevarlo a nuestra mesa por lo que nosotros tuvimos que ir a buscar uno y llevarlo (quitasol de terraza,los cuales eran pesados)las tazas en la servían el café cuando íbamos a la terraza estaban quebradas ( tenemos imágenes), la piscina temperada las instalaciones se encontraban sin sus vidrios por lo que el agua se encontraba fría y el cambio de temperatura a la hora de salir de la piscina era terrible.

Bem mais ou menos, atendentes despreparados, nao falavam portugues, hotel extremamente barulhento, hospedes mal educados (gritaria, empurra empurra) hall sempre lotado, manobristas sobrecarregados, ninguem pra pegar nossas malas (mas dos outros sim), nenhuma explicação sobre estrutura do hotel, fomos expulsos da piscina por nadar sem touca, sem ter recebido orientação antes, reservaram o quarto errado e tivemos que esperar arrumarem o quarto correto, enfim, preço de resort para um hotel meia boca.

O hotel tem a melhor localizaçao de Pucon! Os quartos tem vista para o lago ou para o Vulcão. O nosso tinha uma vista inacreditável pro Vulcão.
O hotel é bem grande, tem 5 andares, exatamente como nas fotos, area interna com parte comum grande, bar, e funciona tb um barzinho que serve hamburgueres e umas coisinhas.
Estava bem movimentado, rolando aulas de ballet pela manha num salao, e a noite um show numa outra area que tava bem cheio. Tem tambem, na parte da frente, um salao de beleza, uma agencia de turismo e um spa.
O café da manha é farto mas repetitivo. A area do café é grande, mas dependendo do horario faz fila na porta.
O que ninguem fala é que a academia é bem montadinha, com uma area só pra cardio e outra pra musculaçao. Quebra o galho. A area conta tb com escaninhos e vestiarios. A piscina aquecida estava funcionando e quentinha. Muitos hospedes se aventuraram, ja que fomos no inverno e estava bem frio, tipo 5 graus.
O quarto era bom, limpo e confortavel. O aquecimento funcionava bem.
Voltaria com certeza!!! Ótima experiencia!

Le GRAND hôtel Pucon

Beaucoup d'avis défavorable pour cet hôtel, ce qui fait que la surprise a été encore plus belle. Merveilleusement situé sur le lac, face à la place principale, l'hôtel offre des chambres avec vue sur le lac ou sur le volcan Villarrica. Le personnel est sympathique même s'il manque un peu de professionnalisme. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. Un bémol, il y a régulièrement des animations à l'hôtel et/ou sur la place fort bruyantes heureusement les chambres sont bien isolées.

Buena ubicacion y spa, lo demas muy deficiente.

Hotel descuidado en su infraestructura (salvo el spa que es nuevo y de algunas habitaciones con vista al lago que estan remodeladas), servicio muy deficiente con personal joven, gentiles pero con poca preparación en términos de atención, resolver problemas e información sobre el propio hotel o el entorno (excepto las personas del aseo que hacen un muy buen trabajo y Ana Maria en el spa que realiza unos masajes maravillosos). Escasas reposeras y paraguas de sol para huéspedes, ambiente tranquilo, restaurante y bar al debe. Muy buena ubicación a orilla del lago y a pasos de todo (plaza, banco, tiendas, restaurantes, etc). En resumen, caro para lo que entrega, no cumplió expectativas.

El hotel es viejo y se supone esta renovado recientemente pero los arreglos son parciales, falta una mejor renovación de mobiliario de las piezas cortinas, en general se ve un hotel viejo con mala mantencion

Não pudemos avaliar a estrutura do hotel porque estava em reforma.
No entanto, tivemos uma péssima experiência em relação ao hotel. Na ocasião, havia um grupo de jovens hospedados no hotel, que faziam bsrulho pelos corredores, falavam alto e gargalhavam até 4h30 da madrugada, sem nenhum controle por parte do hotel ou de seus responsáveis. Foi uma completa falta de respeito para com os demais hóspedes.
Na segunda noite, quando o barulho começou e fui indagar a recepção sobre o que seria feito, a primeira resposta que recebi, pasmem, foi uma pergunta se, às 23h30, nós não gostaríamos de trocar de ala do hotel (sair da ala renovada para uma antiga onde esse grupo ñ estava).
Além disso, o café da manhã foi um dos piores que vi para um hotel desse porte: quantidade sem qualidade.

Estadía poco grata

El hotel está en remodelación (se me informó previamente), lo que hace que la estadía sea más incómoda de lo que supuse, hay trabajos incluso sábados y domingos. La habitación estaba remodelada pero tiene poca iluminación, lo que se aumenta al tener que mantener las cortinas cerradas por la circulación de trabajadores por los andamios.

TERRIBLE HOTEL

El hotel en cuestión no se parece en nada a las fotos que aparecen en hoteles.com. Es un hotel de casi 100 años con un terrible estado de conservación y mantenimiento , la atención recibida por parte del personal es pésima y el precio es absurdamente caro para lo que es !!! Pedí una plancha para planchar mi uniforme y me fue prestada por una hora teniendo que pagar $ 5,000 pesos chilenos por hora excedente !!!! Es un verdadero engaño !!! Se los dice alguien con experiencia de 30 años como piloto profesional. La fachada del hotel es terriblemente descuidada

Malísimo el hotel. No lo recomiendo.

Estadía horrible. Hotel viejo sin mantenimiento, sucio, mal servicio. Exageradamente caro para lo que ofrecen, se escucha todo el ruido, paso, voces, cuando abren las llaves del agua, etc. Las fotografías que anuncian aquí son mentiras, no corresponde a la realidad. UN ROBO Y ESTAFA TOTAL!! Si pudiera exigiría un rembolso o algo.

Decepcionada, no era lo que nos imaginábamos. Falta de limpieza y mantenimiento en general. El hotel es muy antiguo tipo 80, le falta una actualizacion urgente. Los dormitorios eran horribles y ni hablar de la condicion del baño y ducha. Nisiquiera me recambiaron las toallas. El precio pAgado no lo vale con la calidad. No vuelvo mas.

No volvería hasta que terminen de remodelar

Tuvimos un muy mal comienzo de estancia el primer día, nos asignaron una habitación justo al lado de los trabajos que están realizando para remodelar el hotel y el ruido era desde 8 de la mañana a 8 de la tarde, horrible.... además la ducha estaba tapada, no salía agua caliente y el baño tenía olor a orina al llegar. Tuvimos que hablar con la gente del hotel muy molestos, y estos se hicieron cargo del tema, ofreciéndonos cambio de habitación desde el día siguiente y solucionando con gente de mantención los problemas antes descritos.
Si bien desde el segundo día disfrutamos mucho y nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. El primer día perdimos mucho tiempo y lo pasamos pésimo.
