This hotel is quirky in the sense that it pays homage to its design and style which was very avant garde in the 1960s. It is not ultra modern and could seem a little tired but actually feels extremely gracious. We loved it! The ambience is wonderful; the setting is spectacular and the staff attentive without being fussy.

This is the best boutique hotel in Chile. It is not cheap but it is genuinely great value - worth every penny. It is unique in its design and location, has super facilities, the staff are lovely, it has extraordinarily beautiful gardens and is super comfortable. The food is great and the wine list too.
The only things that let it down are the terrible coffee and disappointing choice of fruit at breakfast. And it would be so easy to fix these!
Don't let that stop you going though - you will not regret it. We certainly hope to go back again.

This was one of the most uniquely experiencies at some hotel for me. Everyone knew me before I talked to them, creating a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that was truly appreciated. Relaxation with style
The hotel is located on Lake Villarica, and has abundant land surrounding it with beautiful landscaping. The beds are comfortable, and the rooms have a fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere, as well as Direct TV. The restaurant offers many unique, flavorful dishes, and the waiters are attentive and friendly; however the tables should be spread out more to ensure privacy. The spa is well maintained, quiet, and peaceful. The hotel is less than two miles from the center of Pucon.

We drove from Temuco and found the hotel without difficulty. The location was stunning with beautifully cultivated gardens and delightful walks along paths laden with spring flowers and shrubs. The views across the lake were fantastic. The staff were more than welcoming. The Bauhaus design suited the location and the glazed outer walls of the lounge, dining areas and bedroom have the fullest advantage to the magnificent views. The rooms were more than comfortable enhanced by wood burning fireplace which gave an added cosines. The log fire in the lounge was spectacular. We had drinks and ate in the hotel and both experiences were very pleasurable and the restaurant staff were charming. Our only minor issue was the coffee.

Old charm in one of Chili`s beauty spots
This is one of the top hotels in the world. It was build in the late 1940 on a beautiful spot along the Villarica lake. The achitechture is still very much modern with the best views from every room. The restaurant has classical style fit for royalty. Don`t expect a modern hotel with the latest fashions. The open fires in all rooms are the old style. The staff might do with some more training. The surroundings with the Villa Rica Volcan and many lakes are a great draw, but plan some time to be in the hotel and its increadible garden.

We came at the beginning of summer. The hotel was perfect! Staff helped us make the utmost of every day, rain or shine and contributed to a family-run feel for a truly luxurious stay. Meals overlooking the lake were superb: it was is there was a private chef for us. Rental car ability, contact with superb local guides (hiking, fly fishing, rafting, volcano climbing) and proximity to town made our experience a \"woe\"

El hotel me dejó con sentimientos encontrados: se trata de un hotel antiguo (se nota), con infraestructura regular (tv de habitaciones muy pequeñas y antiguas y un servicio de spa para olvidar), amable servicio del personal que atiende, desayuno correcto pero sin mucha variedad o algo que sorprenda, pero en un entorno que es una real maravilla, ideal para descansar y desconectarse.
Mención aparte merece el spa, que no cumple el estandar que se espera para la categoria y valor del hotel (piscina interior no muy temperada, dos salas de masajes de un tamaño minimo y con un servicio de masajes muy deficitario a un precio carísimo: reflexologia y descontracturante con una pistola de masaje kinegun (cuesta 100 mil en Falabella y por cada masaje te cobran 70 mil) y que con el solo ruido no permite relajo alguno, no se hizo cambio de sabanilla con la persona que se atendió antes, no hay preocupación por poner algun aroma especial, oscurecer la salita, velas o música. Solo algo de música cuando terminaba el interminable golpeteo de la pistola. Llegó un momento en que tuve que pedir que me hicieran un masaje \"tradicional\" con las manos!, el que se realizó de forma muy suave y ocupando una parte pequeña de los 60 min contratados). Una decepción, aun a pesar que en la cuenta cobraron el masaje a mitad del valor después de haber reclamado, no es la experiencia que se espera del spa de un buen hotel. En resumen, hotel de precio mas alto que el que deberia en un entorno maravilloso.

Um hotel para quem quer descansar, com uma boa vista e uma estrutura muito adequada. O quarto é muito aconchegante com vista incrível, o lobby é amplo, mas deixa um ambiente bem família. O bar pré e pós jantar deixa a desejar um pouco, pois tem um garçom que tira o pedido, faz os drinks e serve - por vezes demora um pouco -, além de terem um horário restrito ao final da noite.
O restaurante é muito bom, tanto no café da manhã, quanto no jantar, muito atenciosos e pratos super bem feitos, cheios de sabor.

Baixíssimo custo-benefício. O ambiente é lindo, mas certamente não compensa. Distante do centro, caro para o que oferece. Café da manhã horrível e simples demais. Recomendo o Gran Hotel Pucon (Enjoy). Apesar do estabelecimento precisar de reformas estruturais, é um palácio antigo no centro da cidade às margens do lago com uma estrutura enorme, café da manhã impecável por uma fração do preço pago no Antumalal. O Gran Hotel foi a melhor surpresa de 18 dias de viagem por 7 cidades chilenas e argentinas.
