The hotel is clean, had great vibe and interior design. Amenities include a small gym with good equipment and a yoga studio. Good was fantastic, great section for meat and non-meat eaters. Restaurant and bar staff very friendly and good service. Good selection of pools, just have to be up early for main pool ‘best’ beds, with canopies. Can’t fault the hotel but was disappointed with the reception service. We went for our honeymoon and pre-told the hotel. We weren’t given an upgrade like many couple we spoke to and like many reviews show. We actually were given a different room for the 1st night because our original room was broken. Meaning we had to move room the following morning and couldn’t unpack and relax the night of arrival. The room was bigger and reception made it sound like they were giving a complimentary upgrade (for 12 hours), though it was only because they had to and it actually gave us more inconvenience. As a ‘sorry’ we got given the same fruit platter and sparkling that we would have got anyway as it was our honeymoon. After that bad start the rest of the stay was lovely.

Lovely hotel in Rethymno. The service was good and very helpful. There was plenty of options for food and drink in the all-inclusive package, I'd highly recommend.
They had some entertainment on at 9pm pretty much every day but there wasn't much else other than that.
We stayed in the suite and it was wonderful for a couple's one week holiday. It's only five minutes to the beach which was nice an easy.

A great hotel with lovely staff and very clean. Reception area is welcoming, beautiful and smells fantastic! The rooms are a little on the small side and the lighting isn’t great, especially in the bathroom and shower. There is also a smell which comes from the drains but overall, a great hotel and I would highly recommend it. 3 pools to choose from all with beds although they need to be stricter on the policy of not reserving subbed early in the morning.

Overall this hotel was a really well designed and super clean. The room was wonderful, and the Jacuzzi was a bonus! For the price, I would expect there to be enough sunbeds for the amount of guests, and the food and drink to be a higher quality. Having your breakfast, lunch and dinner all in the same place with the same buffet is quite repetitive.

The entire hotel is super nicely furnished. Not one ugly piece, high quality wood etc. Almost unreal value for money also with the all inklusive! Would definitely recommend it! Only the location seems off not sure there is anything around other than the highway. We were passing through to go more West so didn’t mind, but seems a car is defiantly a must of you want to go anywhere off property.

Fabulous hotel in every way! The room, the service, the staff, decor, facilities, food and drink were all exceptional. The hotel is very modern and has a really chilled vibe. The pool area particularly is picture perfect. The hotel is located around 4 miles from Rethymno Old town and can be easily walked in just over an hour. Plenty of taverna locally if you fancy a change. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Amazing hotel! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is completely new and very well designed. Rooms are beautiful and there are two pools with comfortable surrounding sun-beds. There is a great spa. There is a large variety of food choices. This hotel was everything I was looking for in my vacation! I will definitely be back!

Unser Aufenthalt im The Syntopia auf Kreta war schlichtweg ein Traum. Dieses Hotel nur für Erwachsene ist eine wahre Oase der Ruhe und des Stils und hat unsere Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Schon beim Betreten der Lobby wird man von dem entspannten und gleichzeitig unglaublich schicken Boho-Ambiente verzaubert, das sich durch die gesamte Anlage zieht.
Herausragende Gastronomie und exzellenter Service
Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastronomie. Das All-Inclusive-Angebot war von außergewöhnlicher Qualität und Vielfalt. Die Buffets im Hauptrestaurant waren jeden Tag ein kulinarisches Highlight mit einer riesigen Auswahl an frischen, lokalen und internationalen Speisen. Alles war wunderschön angerichtet und schmeckte fantastisch. Auch die Cocktails an den diversen Bars waren kreativ, hochwertig und immer perfekt gemixt.
Das gesamte Personal verdient ein riesiges Lob. Vom Empfang über die Kellner bis hin zum Reinigungspersonal waren alle Mitarbeiter ausnahmslos freundlich, aufmerksam und stets bemüht, den Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bereiten. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich als willkommener Gast.

Nice hotel with a good vibe and friendly staff. The rooms were a bit small and had an intense smell of perfume from the hallway due to an air freshener machine. No good restaurants nearby, you will need to go to Rethymno.

Wir fanden das Hotel super. Hatten nur mit Frühstück gebucht und dann tageweise All-In dazu genommen, wenn wir den ganzen Tag im Hotel waren. Die gesamte Anlage is toll und sauber. Das Personal auch super nett. Wir hatten nichts auszusetzen, es war ein toller Urlaub. Kleiner Wermutstropfen ist vielleicht, dass Liegen mit Handtüchern belegen am Pool. Es wurden zwar Zettel auf die Plätze gelegt, dass das nicht gewünscht ist und diese entfernt werden. Das Entfernen hab ich aber nie gesehen. Aber das hat nicht wirklich gestört, man passt sich eben an.

Sehr hochwertige Unterkunft, allerdings eher für Jüngere ausgelegt, was beim Check-In bei der Nutzung einer App deutlich wurde. Zudem läuft den ganzen Tag Club-Musik, damit muss man zurecht kommen. Speisen und Getränke sind gut, \"All-Inclusive\" ist bei den Getränken allerdings nicht alles und nicht den ganzen Tag. Reicht aber vollkommen aus. Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Würden sicherlich wiederkommen, sofern man nochmal nach Kreta reist.

Das Hotel hat meine Partnerin und mich vollkommen überzeugt. Besonders empfehlenswert ist das Syntopia, aus unserer Sicht, für junge Pärchen. Unser Standart Doppelzimmer war sauber und hochwertig eingerichtet. Einzig ein teilweise auftretender Fisch-Geruch störte im Badezimmer. Hierbei wurde jedoch mehrfach nachgebessert. Das Essen erfüllte völlig unsere Ansprüche und war abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker. Sämtliche Getränke im Al-Inclusive-Paket waren super!
Das absolute Highlight aus unserer Sicht war die Pool Area mit verschiedenen Day-Beds und anderen Liegemöglichkeiten, auch wenn diese stets sehr gefragt waren. Dennoch bekam man immer einen Platz.

Les piscines sont chaudes, le staff super sympa, l'ambiance est jeune et décontracté, la musique est top. Bref, nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Das Hotel ist wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind genug gross und sehr sauber. Wir hatten eine Suite mit Jacuzzi. Die Minibar wurde täglich aufgefüllt. Es gab verschiedene Themen zum Abendessen, was das Essen abwechslungsreich machte & für jeden Geschmack was dabei war.
Aaaaaaber, leider ein grosser minus Punkt! Die Sunbeds beim Pool waren am morgen um 06:30 Uhr schon reserviert, was den Erholfaktor leider etwas senkt. Wir hatten somit erst im Verlaufe des Tages ein Sunbed, als die Gäste gegangen sind. Wir finden, wenn man schon die teuerste Kategorie bucht, gehört so ein Sunbed auch dazu. Sehr schade. Kein einziger Hotelangesteller hat irgendwas dagegen unternommen. Echt sehr sehr schade...

Hier sollte das Personal deutlicher darauf hinweisen, dass das Reservieren von Liegen nicht erlaubt ist (was es nicht ist).
