Beds were comfortable. Rooms somewhat smaller but clean and not a big deal overall as we only stayed 2 nights. Front desk staff were welcoming and friendly. The water dispenser in the lobby was empty and the lady said we’d have to get water elsewhere. Not sure why they don’t have someone replace it for customers. Was empty for the full days we were there but did see someone using it when we arrived so they got the last of the spring water. At breakfast the attendant said the waffle batter dispenser was broken as she had already fixed it 3 times and still malfunctioning. Seemed like an easy fix to me so my child could have waffles but she was stern and rigid about allowing that to happen. A bit odd to me and not what I would consider good customer service. For the price this was a good stay.

Very friendly, kind and helpful check-in staff. Very clean facilities and room. The pool was great and had beautiful big windows so it felt brighter than most hotel pools do. The breakfast was included and was complete offering waffles, hashbrowns, sausage patties, English muffins, bread, bagels, muffins, yogurt, some fresh fruit, cereal, boiled and scrambled eggs. The room was spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable with lots of bedding and pillows - truly the best sleep I've had!

This property is very central to the 401, making it a great location for getting around. Breakfast in the morning had a good variety. Room was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Would have liked to see all the staff in uniforms and wearing name tags…seemed a little too laid back.

Our room was very clean and well-equipped, with bar-fridge, coffee-maker, etc. We especially appreciated the fact that the breakfast included a hot section (scrambled eggs and sausages this morning), plus a very wide range of breads, cereals, juices, coffee/tea, etc.

The staff was friendly, accommodating, and competent and even helped us check in early. The area around the motel was particularly nice as it’s set on a side hill with a grassy area and a little creek out front. The beds and pillows were great and cost was reasonable. This was my favourite stay of the year, so far.

Beds were reasonably comfortable and bathroom had a good updated look. A couple things were slightly bothersome: the HVAC system was fairly quiet except for a repetitious clinking sound and the smoke detector have a rather bright blinking light. Just annoying enough to delay falling asleep. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices if you don't mind unusual egg \"discs\". Satisfied enough to stay there again if the opportunity exists

Room was dirty in some spots. Dishes that was provided in the room was dirty I hand washed them before I used any and I just bought my own dishes. Never touched the dishwasher as it was pretty dirty as well and the power went out during my stay and asked about it from a worker and was told rudely it’s Woodstock as if that was an answer and when asked how long it’ll be off said for me to call and find out as if it was my job

Okay Stay with Great Staff

I recently stayed at the Best Western in Woodstock, and it was an okay experience. The rooms weren’t terrible, but could definitely use a more thorough cleaning, as there was quite a bit of dust. The lobby was nice, but the carpets in the hallways could use a good vacuum. The walls aren't soundproof either, so be aware of that. Overall, cleanliness could be improved.

The pool wasn’t to my liking. It didn’t seem very clean. Breakfast was a letdown with very few options available.

What really made the stay decent was the staff. They were super nice and accommodating.

Overall, I’d rate my stay three stars. The price is on the cheaper side, but I’ve paid less for better hotels. The friendly staff is definitely a plus, though!

The bathroom wasn’t super clean and there was only one partial roll of toilet paper. I had to ask for more st the front desk. One of the bedside lamps did not work. The lamp on the desk only had one functioning light bulb.
The breakfast wasnt very good, the eggs were cold and the fruit wasn’t good quality.

On the plus side, the front desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

There was a hockey tournament and there was 1 staff on. The children were running and playing tag on the elevators all evening. The parents were no where to be found. The hotel itself was a decent stay for the price. Staff was angry in the morning and not friendly.

The room was very clean. The bathtub actually looked brand new. The tiles in the lobby are quite slippery when wet, they do have rugs but they obviously don't cover the entire area. The breakfast was decent, scrambled eggs and sausages were the hot foods, then you have the usual cereal selection and make your own waffle station. The room was a bit small but big enough for our stay. Overall I would stay here again.

I had only two issues with the stay: The lack of an adequate amount of hot food on the breakfast bar and the handicapped parking spaces not being snow plowed, neither of which prevented me from having an acceptable stay. The room itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, the reply I received from Amy Smith (General Manager) after responding to the survey sent by the hotel, has led me to rate this location as poor. Besides the lack of punctuation and rambling nature of the reply, Amy made excuses for why the hot food was not adequately stocked and she lied, saying the handicapped spaces are ALWAYS plowed when her plow drivers are there (twice a day) and the spaces are not occupied. A snow plow truck was clearing the near end of the lot when I arrived. I had a small sedan and did not park in the closest available spot because there were several inches of snow in the spot and I didn't want to risk getting stuck. A pickup truck was in the still unplowed spot the next morning.

Unfortunately a good night's sleep was disrupted by smoke detection alarm on all rooms and all floors starting at 11:57 pm. Piercing alarms ran in bouts for a full half hour. Burnt linen in dryer was apparent cause. My ears are still ringing 13 hrs later.

The staff has always been courteous and welcoming. The breakfast is so good that I brought Tupperware the second time so I could bring food to work.

We had booked the room for a jetted tub, that didn’t work properly at all. The water wouldn’t stay in the tub, we had to keep refilling it. The jets were so powerful we couldn’t even use them. We found ants in our first room, they were coming up
through the floors and the grout around the tub/tile. They moved us across the hall and not even 10 minutes in there we found more ants, so with no choices left they “upgraded” us to a different room. When we tried to speak to the staff the morning we checked out they were unhelpful and rude. Completely condescending, only a few of the staff members were polite and helpful, they clearly take zero pride in their establishment and it’s absolutely appalling. The fact that Expedia even has them as an option is beyond crazy to me. This hotel has some of the worst google reviews, but i didn’t see any of that on here when I booked. I will never stay at this hotel again and I very well might be done with Expedia as well. WORST experience me and my partner have ever had. Never ever will I recommend this hotel or this app for booking, absolutely ridiculous!

A family member member is disabled. We got adjoining rooms and the barrier free bathroom is amazing!! The person who helped us was very helpful and understanding.
