Beautiful property with a great ocean view room we had. Literally took us a few minutes just to walk to the beach. The hotel was beautiful, but they could update the room and change the carpet to bamboo or wood flooring or tiles. As American citizen, I try to abide by their rigid rules of no shoes in the room and to wear a slippers. However, they need to change that white carpet or beige carpet to wood flooring. Very helpful staff. I appreciate them.

We booked the kids ondol room for 4 people and hands down has been our worst experience staying in a hotel

The room came with one kids bed and 2 futton beds even though the reservation was for 4 people. Upon discussion with receptionist we were told the room only fit for 3 and was offered an additional bed with extra charges which really baffled us as we have paid for 4 people to stay. Even so the room will not fit another bed considering the number of luggages for 4 people. We had spoken to a couple of people at receptionist both with limited English and not much help. In our opinion the room was really not suitable to be occupied by 4 people but they were adamant this was normal.

Further to this the futton beds were very thin and almost felt like we were sleeping on the floor. Needless to say none of us had much sleep during the duration of the stay

Only positive was the food was at least decent and the housekeeping ladies were very courteous

Denitely will not come back and not recommend

Love the family room and child friendly set up in the room for young children. However, we were quite disappointed by the service - left a jacket in the hotel and they won’t help us courier it to our next destination. As a result, we will have to make changes to our trip and detour back to collect the item.

The swimming pool that has been advertised is not open before 11 am , check out is at 11 am so we never saw the swimming pool . The hotel does not allow customers that arrive late to use swimming pool in the morning so it was ridiculous and i do not recommend this hotel .

Amazing hotel with amazing staff in a great location. We had an issue with our hire car and the assistant manager came out to find and help us, i cant thank him enough for his help. Our room was large, very comfortable with a fantastic shower. If i go back to Jeju, i will definitely be staying here again.

Overall, we had a good stay at the hotel. It was child friendly hence we could enjoy the complimentary facilities like shared microwave in the floor hallway to prepare baby food. In the room itself, there’s baby toys and the beds are on the floor. So baby won’t fall off the bed. However, we hope the hotel consider to install brighter lights in the toilet and have a night lamp for parents to make milk or change diaper at night. There were many light switches but only one controls in switching on and off all lights. Hope that can be changed to accommodate parents during midnight feeds or changing.

Our family of 4 people had spent 16 nights on Jeju Island. Our last stop was at Grabel Hotel and this was the worst hotel!

We had arrived just before 12pm. We knew normal check in time is 3pm.

I waited until 1.30pm to ask receptionists if there was a room available as we had 2 elderly people in their 80s in our group.

Answer was earlier check in charge was KRW20K.

I said previous 3 hotels had all allowed us to check in earlier due to elderly people being weaker needing to have more rest. They said: \"We are not other hotels.\"

Indeed, they are NOT as sympathetic as other hotels for sure!

At 2pm, I ask them again - What is your check out time please?

They said: 11am. I said it is 3 hours by now. You must have at least 1 room available by now for our 2 elderly people to get in to their room earlier to have a rest first please?

They then agreed for me to show them 4 passports and fill in their form first.

After that, they said they could let us in at 2.30pm.

All our previous hotels had a check out time of 12pm but they had all kindly allowed our elderly people to get in to their room at around 1pm.

Eventually at 2.33pm, they had given me our room keys.

I had never ever seen any hotel receptionists being so rude, cruel, unreasonable and unsympathetic as that man and that woman receptionists being on duty on that day on 26th July 2024!!!

This so called 4 star hotel does NOT have a gym! HOW COULD THEY BE 4 STAR WITHOUT A GYM?

MOULD SPOTS ON SHOWER CORNERS!!!

Nice for price, but maybe not best ocean option

Stated had ocean view, but very obscured and window wasn't clean so you couldn't see out very well anyway. Room was older and needed some updating. Furniture was clearly a little older. Carpet had multiple small stains, but cream color so easy to see. Beds were good size and comfortable. Room was clean and a good size. Plenty of natural light, but bathroom lighting wasn't very bright. Pool was very nice and heated. It had a nice view and was an infinity pool I believe you had to borrow a towel. There was a small restaurant on the rooftop. There were three heated clear domes you could either rent for 20,000 won for an hour or it was free to use if you ordered food up to 30,000. Food was a bit above average price, no appetizers, a few cocktails and 1 vegetarian option. However, the food was good and had a good presentation. Hotel was a bit away from the downtown area and buses were confusing and slow.

Pros: Near ocean, nice rooftop area with enclosed heated domes to rent/use, nice pool area, clean and good size room overall

Cons: Older room- older appearing furniture, can see some wear and tear, some small stains on carpet, further away from city and no easy public transportation, had to use different wifi on rooftop (but good connection)

The photos were deceiving..’pool is quite small and seats around it need to be paid for. Everything needed extra payment.. including towels.

There was a lounge in 10th floor for special rooms and that you couldn’t pay extra for!

Disappointing is the word.

It’s not as good as it seems totally.

The cleanliness is not up to 4 star standard for sure and some stuffs are pretty old. Plenty of hair around the room even though we had room service everyday. Bed sheet did not get replaced everyday as well.

Receptionist are extremely rigid as well as check out later than 11am (most of the hotels are 12pm) will charge additional 20000 won regardless of any circumstances.

Request for slight late check out as we have a kid and got rejected immediately.

If checking out at 11am so that there is plenty of time for the cleaners to clean up the room. I suppose the cleanliness should be way way better.

Nice rooftop pool, short drive to nice beaches. Not too busy of an area, easier to drive in for people not used to Korean driving. Great views from the room no balcony unfortunately.

A bit dated, probably needs a better tv entertainment system and a refresh in the rooms. Rooftop bar could probably do with a good cocktail menu.

They had a policy about prohibiting to bring the food in and eat it in the room. We’re facing Covid-19 and sometimes we feel comfortable eating outside. They shouldn’t force such poicy on customers at times like this. In fact, if they are worried about cleaning afterwards and that’s reason why they have this policy for, they should remember the cost of staying includes housekeeping fees.

We are facing COVID-19 now and it’s inevitable to order take-outs to eat in the room if we don’t feel comfortable to eat in the restaurants. Having the policy that prohibits bringing the food in is absolutely ridiculous especially in this time when we are facing the pandemic, and it is in fact, disrespectful to their customers. I don’t know how much cleaning the hotel management has to deal with usually but again, that should be also included in the price for the stay. Honestly, for the price I paid, I don’t know if I want to stay here again after having to deal with this unnecessarily.

My stay was great! Only problems we had was the door man would often tell my family to put on their mask, but other people that were inside he did not ask them to wear a mask. The restaurant within the hotel was never open and we didn’t find out about breakfast until one day we just happened to go down and saw people eating. When we approached apparently a reservation must be made and we were not informed of this when we checked in. So our whole time we stayed we had to go out and search for food to eat. But other than those issues, this location was really nice and within walking distance to the water.

My mom and I stayed here from May 28 to June 1. There was a big dirdy spot on the cover sheet of the mattress, btw, it looks like skid marks,so gross..I complained about it the next morning and it was still there when I came back at night. That means they don't change the cover sheets daily. Also, I asked the lady at the front desk if I can get an additional blanket and I was ready to pay for the additional blanket because my mom and me got a queen size bed and there was no additional blanket in the closet., but she said no because it was a queen size bed and they don't allow customers to take an additional blanket for a queen size bed. Is that a reason? Not a reasonable excuse at all. The lady seemed like a manager, she was mean and not that kind. The worst part is that the hot watter was not available at Friday night because there was a high demand....my room was at level 8, and the elevater stopped at level 5.. when the other guy clicked the SOS button, there was nobody answer the phone. It stooped for 10 seconds and it was a horrible experience. I would definitely do NOT recommend this hotel!! Worst experience ever!!

During the autumn/winter, the heater in the room gets turned on and the window latch only allows you to open the window to a tiny gap. Therefore it got very stuffy and hot during the night.

Awesome hotel for the price we paid comparing to others. We chose a room with an ocean view and included breakfast, which are great. Parking is free. The location is about 10 km from the airport. The staff is helpful and speaks English. The surrounding restaurants, though, don't, which made the ordering experience a little challenging.

The hotel was clean and reasonably-priced. The down-side is that it is in a secluded area so there is nowhere to eat if you check in or go back to the hotel past 9 pm. Also, the staff can barely speak English.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und großzügig und sauber. Der Pool auf dem Dach war Mega, sehr warm und einfach herrlich! Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden.

방음이 너무 안됩니다 밖에서 이야기 하는 소리가 너무 잘 들려요. 너무너무 시끄럽고 룸 컨디션은 그저 모텔수준..
제가 온돌방을 예약하긴 했지만 밑에 까는 이불의 경우 너무 얇아서 그냥 바닥에서 자는 줄 알았습니다.

수영장 사이즈는 생각보다 매우 작았으며, 룸이 환기가 안되는지 냄새가 났습니다...

객실이 깨끗하고 화장실도 깨끗한 편으로 이용하기 좋은 호텔이었습니다. 건너편 바다 산책길도 아침에 걷기 좋았습니다. 머무는 내내 날씨까지 좋아서 잘 쉬고 즐기다 갑니다. 매일 청소해주셔서 매일매일이 첫날같은 기분이었습니다. 웰컴푸드 우도땅콩쿠키도 감사했스버다.^^ 제주에 온다면 다시 들르겠습니다.

다만 샤워기 해바라기 수전설명을 못읽고 찬물세례를 받아 깜짝놀랐네요~

깨끗하고 전반적으로 만족합니다. 좋았어요. 수영장 이용이 주 목적이었는데, 체크인 하는날은 수영장 물을 채우고 있는 중이었고 물을 따뜩하게 데우는데 오래걸린다며 이용을 못하게 하더라구요. 그 전날까지는 휴장이었으나 제가 체크인 한 날은 이용 가능한 날이었음에도, 준비가 지연되어 이용하지 못한점, 너무 아쉬웠습니다.
