The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The room was not as clean as I hoped with hair in the sink and shower. The door did not open correctly. We were four and only received one towel, we did receive extra upon request. Beds were not the most comfortable.
The hotel holds several events and during this time guests cannot use exits or make use of the only bar available. I was surprised with the lack of options at the hotel for coffee/snacks and drinks.

객실이 상당히 넓고 슬로프 뷰가 시원했어요. 윈도우 시트가 창문을 따라 길게 놓여있어서 멍 때리기 좋았습니다. 객실과 화장실 모두 청결하고 프런트 직원분도 입퇴실 때 모두 친절했습니다. 황석정 비슷한 이름의 여자분이셨는데 기억력이 가물하네요. 죄송. 당일 예약하고 갑자기 떠난 여행인데 현지 맛집까지 추천해 주셔서 식사까지 맛있게 하고 돌아왔습니다.

방이 굉장히 깔끔하고 생각보다 공간도 넓었습니다.
직원분들도 굉장히 친절하셨습니다.
스키장과 바로 연결되는 통로가 있어 이동이 편리했고,

가족단위 만족스런 숙소(수건세탁신경써주세요)

가족여행 형태로 패밀리럭셔리<스위트+트윈> 를 예약했다. 시부모님, 시동생아기도 함께하는 일정이라 독립된 공간이 필요했는데 아주 적합했다.

예약이 많이 안되는 방이라 그랬는지
방에 블라인드고장과 하우스키핑이 잘안되어있긴했지만 바로 서비스가 이루어졌다.

스위트룸 쪽의 욕조는 훌륭했고.
거실이 적당히 넓어 쾌적했다.

산,정원 뷰가 초록초록하여 눈이 편안했다.
데스크 직원분들 모두 친절했다.
정원에는 아이들이 즐길수있는 시설이 여러개있고
수영장시설도 아주 잘되어있었다.
케이블카를 타고 올라가면 가슴이 탁 트이는 전경이.펼쳐진다. 꼭 올라가보라고 추천한다.

조식도 적당히 다양한 메뉴로 가격면에서도 적합한 내용이었다.

단 욕실수건이 좀 불편했는데.
세탁을 어떻게했는지. 새로받은 모든수건에서 정액냄새가… 불쾌한 냄새. 그리고 새로받은 수건사이사이에서 나온 머리카락들…

세탁이 덜 된 수건 부분을 빼고는
가족여행으로 최적화된 숙소였다.
조용하고 뷰 좋고 친절한 직원분들께 감사한다.

룸청소 + 세탁하시는 분들이 조금 더 신경써주셔서
호텔 전체이미지가 이런걸로 깎이지않게 하면 좋겠다.

Great Hotel Resort

My stay was amazing! My room had beautiful view of the hill and I had taken the cable car up to the top of the mountain for view of the sunset. It was well worth the ride. The mattress was comfortable and linens were clean and pressed. I highly recommend this hotel/resort. There are many fun activity options at this location.

좋았던 여행

부부가 여행을 했습니다. 오래전에, 20년도 더 오래전에, 아이들 데리고 스키타러 왔던 기억이 납니다. 코로나로 인해 손님들이 적어서 한적하기까지 했는데, 아침 부페식당에는 그래도 밤에 보았던 차량의 수보다 손님이 많아 보였습니다. 청결하고 조용해서 좋았습니다. 다음에 다시 올 예정입니다.

Couple's Ski Trip

I might be a little biased since we stayed in one of the suites, but I absolutely loved everything about my stay! The TUB *swoons* it was amazing! I am a plus-sized woman and I fit with room!! We both took baths on the first night and relaxed in the living area. The suite came with stemware and wine opener (just in case you wondered). I peeked in a standard room and could see myself staying in one of those also. Very comfortable size.

Convenient store and restaurants within walking distance. Great views from our room. The clothing rental, equipment rental, and admission to the slopes were included in our stay (and I dont remember paying extra for it to be so). Breakfast (buffet) was decent, but there was a million people trying to eat at 930am so we didnt get seated until after 10am. That was the ONLY con. Great service. Lots of smiles. Great amenities!

Lovely overnight getaway.

This was a special overnight retreat and am happy to say it was a lovely stay. The room, the staff, and grounds were above expectations. The bed was perfectly soft and comfortable. The bathroom, like the rest of the suite, was big and spacious with a comfortable bathtub. Before arriving the staff took note of my questions and requests and placed us in a room with a beautiful view of the ski runs and grounds at the base of the mountain. The dinner buffet was delicious and well worth the 69,000 won per person. My only compliant would be the coffee and tea prices at the coffee bar. For a place where people are already spending a lot to be there, coffee and tea could be priced more reasonably.

Great hotel to stay and enjoy snowboarding!

My friends and I originally planned for a two-days trip, but we decided to stay one more day. The facilities were great and chill. Especially, we loved how there was a staff that keeps and cleans the snowboarding goods. This was fantastic because whenever we tried to wear them, they were dry and hot. I strongly recommend the stay at this hotel.

A nice room

The hotel was nice. The morning breakfast was decent but pricey. I was also lucky enough to catch a Koop concert. One bad point was that one of the two elevators was broken towards the end of the stay. A good point about the elevators though was that there was no annoying key card system. That is especially helpful for people lugging around ski equipment.

Condo room is nothing fancy but works

Nice clean condo room. It was our first time staying here so we learned a lot about what to bring the next time. #1, bring bath towels as the condo only furnished face towels. #2, bring a coffee maker. There’s a very small kitchen with a one stove burner but we really could’ve used a cup of coffee in the morning. #3, either bring a fan or figure out how to adjust the thermostat. We couldn’t figure out how to adjust it besides turning it off. Leaving the window open in the dead of winter is an option but that’s another extreme.

Overall it was a great room, very basic room with the essentials. A decent price for a family and its walking distance to the ski lifts which ultimately is why we chose to stay there. Knowing now all of this information we’ll plan better but we’d stay here again.

Overall, it was a great place to stay. The staff and location was good. Didn’t eat at the restaurants but there was a good variety of food. There were a lot of activities to do such as going up the gondola and looking at the view on top of the mountain. We could feed the sheep there and also a cafe.

The Hotel that we had reserved was closed.

Our reservation was at the Phoenix Park Hotel. A well rated hotel with full amenities. When we arrived at the destination there was construction barriers blocking the driveway to the hotel. i walked to the door and there was a sign on the locked door. The sign was all in Korean so it did not do me much good. after an hour and talking to various individuals (through google translator) we were directed to another building and given an \"upgrade\" to the condo next door. The room was more of an empty dorm than a hotel. It was steaming hot. One room had a bed (and nothing else in it). The second room was just an empty room (floor to floor nothing). We area family of six this was not sufficient. (our reservation was for a family triple that had two beds in each room). I went back to the front desk of the condo and handed in the keys and we went and found alternative accomodations on our own about 45 minutes away. Expedia was of no help since you can only call them and an international call at that time was not an option,.

Very disappointed as the original hotel seemed to be a good option for us. Not a word form Expedia or the hotel in advance that the construction was going on.

I cannot reach the hotel by phone for few times and their email address is not easy to find. I try to reach the hotel through email but they take nearly a week to reply me which I had already check-out. It is not easy to go from airport if you arrive later than 8pm, the only way is to take the latest 3hrs bus to Wonju and change 1hr taxi, the cost is quite high.
Luckily they let us to check-in after their mentioned \"check-in time\". For the room is big enough can quite comfortable. Nearby facilities is good, specially ski location and the water area for hot spring. I will recommend this for family trip if taking a earlier flight.

Average comfortable room, convenient ski location

The hotel location is convenient for skiing. All ski tracks are just right outside of the hotel. And shuttle buses from airport and city various stations drop off and pick up from hotel lobby. The hotel's western restaurant serves buffet dinner which my 2 teenagers loves. The hotel room was average, eith hot water kettle and a few glasses. But it doesn't provide bathroom accesssries like tooth brush etc.

We booked family trio room with one queen bed and one single bed, the reception first saw 2 beds and immediately insisted that we didn't have the reservation with the hotel but with the condominium, and sent us there. Then when we walked down to the Condos, we were referred back to the hotel that our reservation is with the hotel. It was a bit annoying but the condominium reception was kind enough to send 2 staff to help with out luggage to move back to the hotel. The rest of the stay was smooth.

Everything is chargeable in this hotel. Even asking for extra blanket and the basic coffee, tea and mineral water.Make sure you pack your tooth brush and paste.
The room stinks and smell of smoke though it is a non-smoking room.

We booked for a room that was meant for 2 adults and 2 children, but were given a queen size bed. Then we double check again, and this were given the answer that an additional single bed will be sent to our room but with 2 children, you need more than just a small single bed.

모든게 완벽한 여름휴가였어요
룸컨디션도 좋았고요
한가지 아쉬운건 앞방 아이가 너무 소리를 질러서
아동학대로 신고해야 하나? 할정도로 시끄럽게 고성을 질러서 불편했어요. 호텔 복도에서 정숙은 기본매너인데 부모님도 엄청 시끄럽더군요. 이건 호텔에서 잘못하신게 아니라 그분들 개인이 문제인거라…
호텔 직원분들 다 친절하셨고 정말 극성수기라 너무 지치실법도한데 응대 잘해주셔서 감사했습니다.
저희는 워터파크 눈탱이맞았어요 ㅎㅎ 그냥 아무생각없이 갔다가 웬만한 호텔방값을 내고 입장했어요 ㅠ
태기산cc 도 저렴하게 재미나게 이용했고요
루지도 재밌었고 음식도 맛있었어요
저는 커피 너무 좋아하는데 집에와서도 조식커피 남기고 온게 자꾸 생각나네요 ㅠㅠ

첫 방문이며 2박3일 묵었습니다
3시 체크인이지만 2시20분쯤 룸 배정 받았습니다
호텔동 룸 컨디션은 기대한 거 보다 좋았습니다
다만 급하게 정리하고 배정 받은건지
기본으로 있어야 할 수건이 2장 밖에 없었고
변기 커버에 소변이 튄 자국이 있었습니다
그것도 시간이 오래된게 아닌 얼마 전의 자국이더라구요
물로 닦아내고 수건도 요청하여 바로 받았습니다
솔직히 조금 껄끄러웠지만 그 외 룸 컨디션은 다 좋았습니다
위에 언급 한 두가지가 제일 큰 아쉬움이였네요

아 그리고 룸에서 데스크로 전화연결이 오전시간에는
매우 어렵습니다 근데 네이버로 검색하여 나오는 직통번호는
또 한번에 받더라구요 이건 좀 의아했습니다....

그리고 부대시설중 워터파크의 경우
검색이라던지 조금 알아보지 않고 간 잘못도 크지만
객실 할인 25프로 받고 6살 아이와 성인 두명 이용하니
17만원정도...그리고 구명조끼 대여 간식거리 구매하니
20만원은 훌쩍 넘어버리더군요 이 부분은 조금 검색도
해보시고 여러 상품이나 패키지를 구매해서 가는게
금액을 조금이나마 절감 할 수있을 거 같습니다
카드사 할인도 추가적으로 있는거 같구요
그냥 이용하기엔 생각보다 금액이 세게 느껴졌습니다

조식의 경우 셋이서(성인2,6살아이1) 8만5천원이였고
객실할인은 없었습니다
7시30분 오픈인데 35분에 도착하니 이미 사람이 많더라구요
3층에서 식사했으며 오전에 엘베도 오래 기다립니다
왠만하면 오픈시간때 가서 드시길 추천드립니다
먹고 나올때보니 대기줄이 많이 길더라구요
1층도 같이 이용할수 있는거 같으니 문의해보심이 좋을듯 합니다

그리고 리프트,루지를 방문당일 2회권 끊어서 오후 5시쯤
이용하니 선선하고 좋았습니다

체크아웃하고 난 후 곤돌라도 이용했는데
생각보다 오래올라가고 정상에 도착하니
시원하고 좋았습니다

주변에 조금 유몀하다 싶은 관광지는 대부분
차로 50키로 정도 내외에 위치 한거 같습니다
저희는 대관령 양떼목장 , 딥다이브 두군데였는데
운행시간이 30~40분 정도 거리였습니다

평창 휘닉스 호텔

몇해째 여름을 이곳에서 보내고 있는데요. 나름 조용하고 쉬기 편안합니다. 몇박이 더 남았지만 즐겁게 하루를 보내고 적습니다.

잘 쉬었지만 아쉬운점도 있었던 곳

하룻밤 잘 쉬었지만 여름철이고 아무래도 겨울 스키철이 아니여서 그런지 석식 운영을 하지 않았어요(주말에는 가능하다고) 그리고 미니바에는 그 흔한 커피 서비스가 없다는거에 좀 당황 ^^; 4성급이라는데 녹차티백 2개가 전부라는게 ㅋㅋ 피트니스센터는 카펫 냄새가 좀 심하고 비가 와서 그런지 바닥에 물이 관리가 인되는 느낌을 많이 받았습니다. 물론 스키철에는 지금과는 다르겠지만요. 그럼에도 호텔이니까 기대하는게 있어서 아쉬움도 큰것 같아요

기대하지 않았는데 꼭대기층 주셔서 전망이 좋았고 편의시설(특히 약국) 있어서 좋았어요 그런데 워터파크도 안 가고 스키도 못 타는 계절인데 피트니스 시설이 별로고 실내 수영장이 없어서 조금 실망했어요!

리모델링 된 객실 깔끔했고 얼리체크인도 좋았습니다. 주차도 투숙객만 들어올 수 있어서 여유롭습니다.
