Easy to find, lovely little room, perfect for two nights stay. Breakfast was good, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only slight negative some people may experience is the nearest shops are at least a 15 minute walk away along with the transport links. Didn't bother me though, it's a lovely area to explore.

The room was small, but fine for me as a solo traveller. They had a good complimentary breakfast spread every morning, including some very fresh bread and good options for lighter and heavier breakfasts. The location was convenient enough - about 10 - 15 minutes' walk from the main city area and train / bus station. Also, being a ship, it had a unique and distinctive character.

Unfortunately, the whole stay for me was let down by what happened on the last night. Incredulously, for my entire stay there (granted, across Christmas), the hotel seemed content with having one person run front-of-house (check-ins, check-outs, etc.), the restaurant bar (which was connected to check-in) AND the kitchen. On my last night, I ordered food from the bar (where I had to wait 15 minutes for service) and I was amazed when the lady told me she might struggle to MAKE the food, because she had to process 40+ check-ins that night. She charged me anyway, but was then immediately swamped by those check-ins and maybe 90 minutes later, I got up from my table, had to go to the check-in desk, wait in line behind check-ins for another 15 minutes, to ask for a refund, which she gave me.

It's not her fault of course - she was overwhelmed and rightly stressed. But why the hotel management felt this was an acceptable thing to do, I'll never know. Probably wanted to cut costs. Either way, I would encourage people to think twice if hotel service is something you value.

The hotel is very clean, the staff are very friendly and Breakfast is very tasty with plenty of options. The hotel is centrally located which makes it easy to get around. There is parking at the front of the hotel but WATCH OUT!!! There are no signs saying that you have to pay and I got a parking ticket. There is only one payment machine hiding in the corner. It’s not the hotels fault, the car park is run by the city, but perhaps they could have a notice in reception saying ‘please ensue that you pay for parking’.

We chose this hotel as it was something different and a fair price for 6 people/ 3 rooms. Though the triple rooms were very cramped, that is to be expected on a boat. The rooms themselves were fairly clean but definitely could do with some touch ups which is the case with the hotel in general I would say. Things like dusty skirting boards, marked walls and cobwebs were noticeable. The beds were a little on the soft side and could do with an extra pillow but not too bad. Quiet rooms with not a lot of noise from outside which is always a bonus.
The breakfast is good. If you're not a fussy person, you will find something you like. We also liked that the tea, coffee, water and biscuits were accessible all day and night so after a day of exploring you could help yourself to a hot drink and a little snack which was a nice touch.
We liked that the deck areas were accessible and had tables and chairs on them. It was a nice space to take in the nice weather we had and watch the world go by, or a place to relax in the evening after a day of exploring.
The location of the hotel worried me slightly as it seemed quite far out from the centre. However, the big shopping centre is quite close and there are several very nice restaurants nearby. You can also hire scooters and bikes to get around and they are very accessible outside of the hotel.
Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to first time visitors to Gothenburg as something fun and different to the usual traditional hotels.

We knew when we booked it that it would be a new experience and not a common hotel so we were open to an adventure. The staff are very kind, the facility is clean and there are a lot of extras like tea, coffee water and cookies available throughout the day. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices displayed well and kept clean and replenished. It was not air conditioned so we got a fan from the front desk which made the night comfortable. It is very quiet and the area is being built up so plan on walking around blocks of construction but stores and restaurants are within an easy walk.

We were really happy with the hotel, location wise it is brilliant with lots of access to the transport system a short 10 minute walk away. Breakfast options were plentiful ( with a few choices for vegans including milks, yoghurts, fruit, cheese etc) and we loved having free tea/coffee/water and cookies always available.

Rooms are a little small but beds are very comfortable and the shower is great. Cleaned regularly and towels replaced.
This was our base for the Gothia Cup which our son was playing in and would definitely recommend it to others for this purpose.

The concept of an old ferry repurposed into a hotel is pretty neat. It was definitely a unique experience. The only down side was that you were surrounded by construction projects that made getting anywhere on foot challenging, however this was not the fault of the hotel at all. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the included breakfast buffet had lots of variety. The view from our room was amazing after sunset.

A fun idea to stay on a boat, but the room was too small for 2 people. If one person stretched out, the other person got an elbow to the eye! Staff were friendly but the room barely had space for the bed.
One other quirk is the boat and it's entry point creak and rattle like a kid practising the kettle drum. It would be ok for a single night but if you are going to unpack for a few days, then maybe consider getting a proper room somewhere

The hotel was wonderfully unique, the rooms were very small and you could no longer fold the bunk away so felt a little claustrophobic. The rooms however were clean and serviable for a base. The breakfast was very good and they had tea and cofee and water and biscuits available all time, id have still liked a jettle in my room as it was inconvenient to get dressed to make that first cup of tea in the morning.

The rooms were wamr.

The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from transport links, and there are no restaurants or shops nearby if you want food or a snack,

We had a lovely stay and for the price a short walk was fine.

Definitely good for a cheap weekend base.

Staff also very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast spread was alright but perhaps they can introduce some novelties cos saw the (almost) same food for 3 mornings. Hahahahha is my bad . I stayed 3 nights .

Is about 15 mins walk from central station . Is ok for me. or if u want , take bus from central … one stop only .

It was very windy when I stayed (Jan 2025). .. so at times I really could felt a bit “swaying” but so cool

It was a really fun experience to stay on a ship that’s been converted into a hotel, and you didn’t feel like you were on the water at all which I appreciated. There were some nice views from the deck and it had the perfect seating area for watching the sunset. I had a ‘city view’ room which looked over the car park, so next time I’d definitely opt for the sea view room.

The room was clean and an acceptable size for me and my friend to share. The bathroom was good, but the shower cubicle felt a little cramped due to its odd shape.

The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre, and there are scooters/bikes available to rent directly outside. I believe there were also buses stopping nearby.

The staff were all incredibly welcoming and answered all our questions. They provided a safe place to keep our luggage before check-in/after check-out which was really helpful.

Breakfast had a decent selection, with the buffet included in the booking. It never got too busy, but also had a good atmosphere.

I’d definitely stay here again!

A superb, unique experience to stay onboard a floating hotel.

The hotel itself is quiet, but with ample space in the dining area for the abundance of guests at breakfast.

A short walk away is the main drag in town with shops, restaurants, and the park is also nearby.

Rooms are a little on the small side, however this isn’t an issue at all if you know what you’re walking into in advance.

My partner and I had ample space in the room, and were assigned two single beds - a blessing in disguise as it meant she wasn’t stealing my sheets all night long!

All in all, a very pleasant stay. Next time we’re in Gothenburg, it’s certainly a hotel we hope to be back to.

It was an unusual hotel and was a bit disappointed that we didn't have a river view which was one of the reasons we booked. Did ask to be moved, but was told no availability. Rooms are a bit small, but had everything you needed. Bathroom was nice and the shower was good and plenty of hot water. We did experience a lot of noise from the bathroom like wind blowing. Didn't think breakfast was included so it was a nice surprise. Food was hot and plenty of variety of cold meats and breads. Tea and coffee available all day.
It's a good 15 minute walk to the centre and it seemed to be office buildings all the way, so not many people around in the evenings and weekends. Would stay again, but would need a car, although tram and bus system is amazing.

Good location 10min walk from town centre. Speedy check-in. Great first impression. Room view was nice and the en-suite was large considering it is onboard a ship. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food from the bar was tasty and I would recommend the potato cakes. Comfy beds and a quiet environment. Great selection for breakfast. There is a parking bay close by for E-bikes and scooters which can be hired. Each provider charges different amounts, the cheapest we found was Ryde.
Fantastic accommodation providing great service. We will return.

Först var det lite otur då vi fick två ostädade rum men den fantastiska tjejen i receptionen såg till att vi fick två nya rum mot havssidan som kompensation.
Hotellet erbjuder parkering och ligger väldigt bra för promenad till allt i centrum. Små trevliga rum, inte lyhörda och en mycket bra frukostbuffé. Det enda som borde var lite bättre är sittplatser till frukosten som det var för få av. Vi fick stå och vänta på bord.
Ett hundvänligt hotell där även de fyrbenta kan njuta av vistelsen vilket våra gjorde. Varmt rekommenderas!

Först: Hotellet ligger geografiskt nära Centralstationen men vägen dit är omständlig att gå och promenaden tar därför längre tid än man tror. (Nattetid är det extremt svårt att hitta dit.) Rummet jag fick såg inte ut som på hotellets bilder av rummen. Det var rejält slitet och en list hängde löst. Värst var ändå att sidoöverdraget på sängen var rejält smutsigt. Detta är ett av de sämre hotell jag bott på i Sverige.

Bon petit déjeuner, personnel gentil mais en sous nombre à l'accueil.

Chambre petite (normal pour une cabine de bateau) mais comfortable et la vue côté canal est très agréable.

Emplacement éloigné si on a pas de voiture.
Mais centre ville accessible en une 20aine de minutes à pied.
Juste un peu contraignant quand on veut se déplacer plus loin (ex: quelques parc à l'autre bout de la ville) , cela rajoute du temps de trajet...

Mais l'expérience bateau et rouli quand l'eau est un peu plus agitée vaut le coup.

Fick börja med att påpeka att det låg en gammal använd tandpetare på golvet, ett stort lager damm och gamla hårrester i sängen. Äldre dam i receptionen var super trevlig och väldigt välkomnande. Till skillnad från hennes kollega som var mer besvärad vid minsta fråga. Parkering finns det gott om, bar har vad som önskas och likaså frukost. Hotellet gungade friskt vid blåsten så inte för den känslige. Lugnt och skönt annars. Väldigt tyst. Funkar om du reser själv och inte behöver vara på rummet, inget jag skulle ta med mig familjen till.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti e nel complesso l’esperienza è stata positiva. La struttura si trova a circa 15 minuti dal centro, quindi in una posizione comoda per muoversi senza essere nel pieno della confusione.

Il personale si è dimostrato abbastanza professionale e disponibile durante il soggiorno. La colazione è stata sicuramente uno dei punti di forza: varia, abbondante e di buona qualità. Anche la struttura, in generale, è tenuta in modo più che discreto.

L’unica pecca riguarda il servizio di pulizia: durante il nostro soggiorno hanno dimenticato di pulire la stanza e di cambiare gli asciugamani, cosa che ha un po’ inciso sull’esperienza complessiva.

Nel complesso comunque una buona soluzione, con qualche aspetto migliorabile.

El hotel está lindo, las instalaciones son agradables y en general la estancia fue buena. Sin embargo, tuve una experiencia muy molesta con el tema del check-out. Al momento de hacer la reservación se me informó claramente que el check-out era a las 12:00 del día. Con base en esa información planeé todo mi itinerario.

Para mi sorpresa, al llegar a recepción me dijeron que el check-out era a las 11:00 porque habían cambiado las políticas. Considero que ese cambio no me correspondía a mí, ya que a mí se me había confirmado un horario distinto. Al final me vi obligado(a) a salir a las 11:00, perdiendo una hora de mi tiempo y afectando mis planes.

Es una lástima, porque el hotel es bonito, pero este tipo de falta de claridad y respeto por la información previamente dada deja una mala impresión.

Fåtal parkeringsplatser för rimlig peng, dock så såldes fler biljetter än va det fanns platser. Saknade städpersonalen. 4dagar utan städ trots att skylten hängde på dörren. Fick iallafall handdukar och toapapper från nattpersonalen i receptionen.

Rummet var extremt litet. En liten pall som sittplats var det som fick plats, rekommenderasinte för mer än en natt. Jättesvårt att få plats på frukosten.

Fantastiskt trevlig personal, mycket bra frukost bra utbud och att de inte fanns allt för mycket att välja på då man blir mätt av att vara se på maten. Önskar att det fanns färsk frukt dock på frukosten.
