Breakfast is pretty good. Stayed at villa 5, Villa is big, Two aircon are cold, end up switched on only one aircon at night. The bathroom is great with bath tub. However, the shower tap in the shower room was not really functioning well. Outside the villa there’s one convenient store, hop on to the free shutter to seminyak square area. Overall, it’s a great stay. Is situated next to the temple, is better to consider if you prefer peace and quiet during the early morning.

The property was rated 5 star we rate 3.5...
Villa cleanliness was poor....
Towels were well used some with holes....
The food was average...
There is no common ground for socializing.....
The staff were very helpful .
Position of villas is not close to restaurants felt a little isolated.
Overall it was our first time to Bali and could have been a better experience... pictures on Expedia website are misleading and need upgrading.
We found better accommodation at similar price closer to restaurants and shops.

Very private villas very close to Seminyak Village Square. The staff were professional and friendly. It was nice to have free drop off around the area. The room was always clean and the private pool was wonderful. The only thing that needs improvement is the wifi. Very slow and rarely connected. I expected better for a place that only has 9 villas.

Enjoyable stay

This is a small villa complex with nice quite villas, staff are very help full in every way. The pool and deck area are private and pleasant. Meals are very good served to your room and cheap, with room service into the night.
The only complaint I could see was it seemed a little unkept and dirty in places with water stains around the taps and sinks etc. Towels could do with upgrading. Good eating places close by.

Villa is next to a call to prayer mosque

Every day at 6am, 12pm & 6pm a call to prayer plays for 15-20 minutes. I sounds nightmarish & is really really loud.

MOSQUITOES N Limited WIFI N Bad Service

Pros - there is s a free mini bar and a top up of 4 bottles of mineral water daily. Mini bar is for one time, which is fine too. Breakfast, as mentioned by others, is not good. Not worth it. Though they do deliver the breakfast to your room. Hotel provides ONE way transport to the airport for free if you stay at least 3 nights.
Cons - MOSQUITOES, lousy toiletries and no top up of toiletries and bad service from the reception.area. Interestingly, even after spraying the insecticide which the hotel provides, I am surprised that the mosquitoes did not die. They might have been immuned to it.

The staff do NOT inform you of the changes for the transport to the airport until the eleventh hour. Hence, be prepared to miss your flight if you have no contingency plan B. The showergel provided stinks. Though I would have preferred toiletries such as cotton bud or shower cap to be topped up daily, there was none because I had brought along my own shower gel, shampoo etc. I think that's bad. Would I recommend this hotel? NO! Don't!

Excellent relaxing place. Very good staff.

Stayed for 4 nights. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Room amenities were very good, though could be improved further (the door locks). The staff was excellent, very responsive. They even agreed for an extension of check-out time with a nominal charge.

Awesome hotel

I love the bed, pool. The hotel is just so mind blowing. Have a very comfy bed. The only downside is that the water from the shower head is not strong and have a rusty steel smell. But overall I enjoyed my stays there. And the staffs are very nice.

We had a great experience, the hotel is about 10 mins from Kuta, very quiet and private. The rooms were huge, comfortable bed, private pool and large bathroom. Slightly aged from the photos online but still very nice. The staff were lovely and helpful. we had breakfast every morning which was good. Also had an in room spa treatment that i enjoyed more then my expensive day at a local high end day spa!
Theres a mini mart directly outside and a great new restuarant 200 metres down the road which was also amazing for traditional food!
would definately stay again and recommend!!

So disappointed with this hotel. The floor is dirty didn't even mopped. The bath tub is yellowish as well as the towels given. The room is dirty.

Fantastic value, great staff

We've previously stayed at Astana Batubelig and love the layout of these villas (Crown Astana layout is identical). They are really spacious and the private pool is the icing on the cake. The staff are helpful and friendly, room service is prompt and it's great to have breakfast delivered daily to your room. The surprise anniversary cake waiting for us on arrival was such a lovely gesture.

Great Stay!

I stayed at Crown Astana for 6 days, it was great. The in town drop-off is good to have, the room was very comfortable, clean, and felt secure. The staff was always willing to help, breakfasts were great. The AC worked great! And the Wi-fi did as well. Not too far from Seminyak Square and a 15-30 minute (depending on traffic) drive to Kuta and Legian beach. My only criticism would be cleaner towels and a new paint coat for the doors but nothing major. I would stay there again if I returned to Bali

Luxury villa, great pool

Loved everything about the place except the breakfast. You do get a choice of several breakfasts but must select the day before and the food not the best. Other than that loved it! Wish we had of known about the free daily shuttle too as didn't know till our last day.

The villa looks exactly the same as what's shown in the pictures. The place feels like home, so comfortable. No mosquitoes, no wierd insects (which i fear most); but alot of black ants. There was once our fruit juice was covered by army of ants near the pool. The pool water was a bit too cold & dnt expect too much sun for tanning. Other than the ants part, Husband & I super love the toilet flooring cos it's not slippery, love the location, near a 24 hours minimart, really suitable for those who love privacy (privacy means no nice view). The food for room service is affordable, not too expensive compared to hotel food, the food wasn't awesome but edible. The staff were friendly & helpful. Halal food is nearby but for Delicious halal food is about 30mins walk; located at Jalan Petitenget. There's a free shuttle bus to Kuta & Legian, but u have to inform the staff a few days before. I would love to stay here again cause it feels really safe; unlike other villas which are all alone.

Great little villa tucked away off the main road

Crown Astana is a very well designed villa. The location is close to the main areas of Seminyak, although you will have to take a cab to most places. It's well hidden behind a very busy street so you won't have any noise issues. The pool is probably the best part of the room. Overall the design is well done considering the small space. The staff is very pleasant to deal with and very friendly overall. They are knowledgeable and help you with anything you need. I would stay at this villa again especially at this price.

Reasonable walking distance to Seminyak Square

Smaller scale villa with helpful staff in general, very helpful in arranging transports in particular!
Breakfast can be of lighter scale o we don't waste food - i.e. each person was offered 2-3 buns every morning on top of a main dish & cereal & yogurt.
Great location - slightly away from the crowded bars & restaurants areas, a mini-mart is right at the hotel entrance if needed!

Great hotel w/ pool + free breakfast!

I booked a 1 night stay here and wished I stayed longer. Fantastic villa/room. This small boutique hotel/villa is awesome. While off of the main street, its tucked away in a quite location. The room was very clean, spacious and modern. The cute kitchen upon entry into the unit was small but practical. The bedroom was very large and bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was extremely large. This place is better than some 4 star hotels back in the USA. Breakfast was very yummy + free! The private pool is located in front of the bed; so there's a nice view when you wake up. Overall, fantastic place for the price! Definitely will stay here if back in Bali.

Spacious private villa

Crown Astana Villas are modern, clean and very private. Hardly heard any outside noise. The villa's are very spacious with incredible bathroom, bedroom and kitchen/dining rooms. The staff were incredibly helpful and meet every request that we had. Would definitely recommend this villa to couples wanting a quieter area to stay with a great deal of privacy.

Great getaway stay!

Stay was really comfortable. Room was very spacious and clean. Location provided ample privacy for couples on getaway trips, although the location to the nearest beach was a far bit walk. Nonetheless, my fiance and I enjoyed our stay. It was a great choice. We would definitely come back again and also recommend to our friends in future.

Nice hotel, near to a 24hrs minimart

Hotel staff is friendly.
Room cleanliness is great.
Water flask is a bit rusty and dirty. Difficult to clean it.
Pool was nice. 1.4m deep.
Breakfast was delivered to the room promptly. Able to choose the timing of the breakfast.
Privacy wise, although the villa is full, however, me and my wife felt we are the only ones in the villa.

Nice place away from hustle and bustle of seminyak

the villa is very cozy and quiet despite being just beside the main road. It is within walking distance to Seminyak square area. but walking at night may be a bit scary due to the narrow and lightly lit pathways. there's a convience store just outside the villa so if you don't plan to go out and just chill in the villa, you can get your supplies there.
