We really enjoyed our stay and the accommodations were clean and the staff was very kind, the food was also good. it had very strong shower which was wonderful however the drain didn't work so it flooded our bathroom . we also had problems with our AC. the accommodations in the room were clean and they had a fridge and slippers and hot coffee so that was very nice. the bedding was soft and clean and the beds were comfortable. when we did have a problem the staff was quick to fix it and we really appreciated that
the breakfast was good and the food was of good quality.

Loved the lagoon style pool. Loved the large room with direct water access (rm116). Very nice staff. Loved the rooster farm next door (not for everyone).
Hated, the room power going off everyday due to time coding on spare key card. Hated restaurant/bar closing at 3pm. Wife hated samey breakfast daily. I was ok with it. Needed menu variation. Hated that breakfast buffet not refilled till empty instead of before running out. Hated no room/hotel services info in the room Inc not even phone numbers. Hated house keeping removing hand towels we had requested every day. Hated house keeping not replacing room tea supplies to full quantity daily. Really...2 of us in the room. How hard is it to have 2 Tea bags? Hated no spare toilet roll without requesting it. Stressful. Hated bath towels being folded and recycled when obviously wet and used (happened twice in a 9 day stay. Hated location for us. We are older so the long Seminyak walk, with no bluebird taxis in sight, to get to anything a bit gruelling but not an issue if young and fit. By the way it's really in Kerobokan. Hated smoking rooms all around our non smoking room. Could not use the outside patio. Hated the builder hammering upstairs in the afternoon when we are trying to rest .
That said the staff were absolutely lovely and always helpful.
Property just needs an eye on providing hospitality and not penny pinching. Not when we pay over $1000 for a stay and there is cheaper to be had.
I would stay there again. Wife no!

Very friendly staff, rooms need some maintenance. Thankfully they had another room we could move into as the aircon wasn’t working in our room so we got moved on our third day their. Great breakfast, great pool and good location.

We booked this property for 3 nights and left after 1 night. The bathroom area was rusty, towels were old and grey and tiny. There was a gap above the front door so mosquitoes flew in at night and gave us bites.
Pool was nice but there was only 4 deck chairs for all of the hotel to use. So there was no where to lie out after getting out of the pool. We would appreciate a refund of at least 1 nights accommodation as we then booked and stayed at the Bali Mandira through Expedia. Thanks Kellie

Awesome budget hotel

The facilities are good but basic. I found the sheets and towels are old they had stains on them and some sheets had rips which was very poor effort. But staff are very friendly go out of their way to help rooms are big and neat. It’s a great hotel when your on a tight budget as this hotel is definitely value for money and if you would love to spend your money exploring Bali and not on a hotel this is for you.

A stylish hotel at hostel prices. Above and beyond

Hotel is lovely, preparing for a renovation. It is kept up nicely but clear items like second pull and rusty areas around pool show the aging properties challenges that require renovation. Wifi in certain rooms is not as high speed as some others. They have been more than accommodating to make sure the room I am in has better wifi. The staff is very friendly and more than helpful. Once they renovate I'm sure it will be a spectacular property.

Hidden gem

If you're looking for a great place away from the hustle and bustle this hotel is well worth it. Rooms were big, clean and bed was comfy. The adult pool was so welcoming after a hot hot Bali day. I would stay here again.

For the price paid it was decent. Nice pool, clean room and bathroom, friendly and helpful staff.

Downside was that the air conditioning was quite noisy and the WiFi only came from reception so was very weak at our room.

Wouldn’t say it’s a 4 star hotel but for the price paid you could do much much worse.

Great location, room needs to be improved

We chose this hotel for the location which was excellent. The room was very affordable so you do get what you pay for. The room and bathroom size was very big. We stayed in 212 which was supposed to be a non-smoking room. The room smelled of smoke and the bathroom towels and bed sheets were very very stained. It is a cheap hotel but there is no excuse for giving guests very stained and dirty towels.

Overall we had a good stay. The room was nice, the pool was nice and clear and the garden and seating facilities were great. The bedding were comfortable but the sheets had a lot of stains on them. The room is clean in general but could use some proper deep cleaning. There were some molds and water stains at the toilet. We paid $35 a night and we are happy with the place. It's close to the nice restaurants and there is a warung (local eatery) right outside the hotel for those travelers traveling on budget ($2AU a meal). The staff were nice and friendly. Will come back again because of the location and reasonable price.

It was good value. Well located in the middle of Seminak but back off the main street a bit. Beds were large and comfortable. Good movie channels if you aren't out partying Nice pool. Very pleasant environment. We had some plumbing issues as is customary in the tropics but was sorted. Had to ask for a hair dryer and were given one that was promptly taken back. Asked for it again and they left it with us the second time. Would recommend overall and wouls stay there again

Check-in took a while coz ctr rep can't find my booking despite me showing my booking confirmation and saying he can't find it. The double lock was busted and had to report and have it fixed. The room was spacious and with complete toiletries but lacking hair drier. And it's not 12min walk from the beach as took me 21min.

The staff were friendly & the location of the hotel was perfect. My room was very clean but the air conditioning was not great. It kept cutting out, which made the room at times hot & unbearable. Other tenants commented that the air conditioner in their rooms were the same.

Bad service and so many problems

we arrived late to the hotel, around 10pm and checked in only to be given a room that we didn't book for ( single beds) no double bed. So we went out and complained and was told they basically double booked and to come back tomorrow and she'll change us. So we had to spend a night in a room where the door was broken (was fully bowed out leaving a massive hole for mosquitos to get through) the sheets were stained and the bathroom smelt like sewage. So we dealt with it and went back to reception the following day and they said we couldn't change rooms and basically just to deal with it and come back to reception the next day again. By this stage we were so unimpressed as they didn't care and we didn't get what we paid for and had no compensation. We then decided to go for a swim in a pool that was okay, it felt slimy but was nice. So on the 3rd day we were finally moved to a room with a double bed. However the door only locked sometimes so anyone could just walk in which was scary and we would have to leave our door unlocked if we went out. The bathroom door was almost impossible to open as well.

Need some renovations.

The hotel looks a bit tired and need some TLC. Room service is also not great, as they often forgotten to change shampoo and soap and just made up our beds. Light fittings are loose and we also saw a rat running through our room. So, not impressed.

NICE WEE PLACE FOR REST AND TOURS

Really smart wee place located just off the main road with easy access (on moped) to many hotspots in Bali. it's a quiet place with a nice pool and space to relax. As it's just off the Main Street it means there's a simple hawker food stop next door for a cheap; Nasi Goreng for lunch 20,000rp, massage shop at end of road 60,000rp, and breakfast around the corner at the Mexican place 50,000 rp. Taxi from airport at about 85,000 on the meter using bluebird might find it hard to find so have a map handy. Local moped hire for 50,000 rp and you have a great base to explore and rest. I did both from here and it was ideal.

Asked for a 2 bedroom suite. Told none. No fridge in room for refreshments By that I mean beer! Told that even though I couldn't have a suite with my 2 yr old grandson and my rooms would not be connecting as they did not have connecting rooms. At least we would be next door as neighbours. Got up to room and 3 rooms apart. All of a sudden nobody understood English. Stayed 2 nights and simply walked out. Booked a villa where I could watch over my grandson. Never again

I had a wonderful stay at D'djabu. Staff were attentive, rooms were large and comfortable, wifi was good, the pool area was great, super close to eat street (5 min walk) and all for the bargain price of Aud $40 night. What's not to love? Just as good as any of the more expensive hotels I've stayed in sounds the area.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired

This was my first time in Bali, so wasn't sure what to expect. The first breakfast was atrocious. I ordered easy over eggs but they didn't know what that was and gave me sunny side up instead. Everything else was stone cold. I didn't eat anything and mentioned to the cook that everything except the eggs was stone cold, and the cook argued with me saying everything was hot, without even Testing it himself. Really, arguing with the guest whether something is hot or cold? I was now frightened of the chef, but I still complained to the manager, which did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. Everything else was average about the hotel. It seems Indonesian hotel staff have no regard for guest concerns based on my experience here. The chef never apologized for the bad service, even after I made my concerns known to management.

Friendly hotel

This is a great hotel, the staff are very helpful.we were pleased with the kitchen staff that cooked great meals for us. We could eat poolside or in our room. The pools were big, and kept well. We were picked up at the airport, and made to feel welcome. The hotel is next door to an open paddock, and therefore the area was quiet . Lots of taxis out the front, and staff helping us cross the road safely. Well done, and miss the place so much.

Nice looking newer hotel, but the design is not thought out. No desk anywhere, two mattresses put together instead of one big mattress, and huge bathroom with almost no hanging or storage space. Biggest problem the mattress is stiff so sleep isn't comfortable.

Brilliant location in Seminyak , had the best time at this place and will definitely be staying there again.
Hotel staff where great and rooms are perfect, all the need to do is upgrade the breakfast menue for the mornings, maybe even do a buffet. Having said that it was free so no complaints.

Good value but don't expect any free shuttle

Hotel was cheap, definitely good value. Description said free shuttle service, and I filled in flight number and arrival time + date. At arrival there was however no pickup for us. We waited around for a bit then I called up the hotel to ask if they were coming or what, and the guy who picked up simply said they had no driver. It would've been nice if they had notified us of this, either by email or text etc.. We arrived late at night (around 1.30AM) and just wanted to get to bed as soon as possible obviously. After taking a taxi to the hotel the check-in was quick and we got to sleep fast. A small breakfast was included in the cheap price, not much to complain about.

Great value hotel .

We enjoyed this fairly new hotel , there was a problem with our air conditioning not working but the following day the staff were there straight away to fix it . Unfortunately it broke again the following night and we had to ask to move rooms . The hotel is clean and the most of the staff are happy and helpful but one or two a bit sour . Our last night we returned to the hotel after being out for the day and as we entered the man on reception asked if we would be paying the extra day tomorrow . We told him we were not due to leave until the morning and when we went to our room we found it had not been cleaned as we think they thought we were staying without booking or letting them know . This was a little poor . Also we tried to order of their menu one night only to be told they did not have everything available as its low season . I think in future then they should have a menu for low season only . In general we have enjoyed our stay . It's in a quiet area away from the noise and Main Street and it's a well kept complex . I would recommend . I think it's great value for a three star not a four star . The value for money in low season was fantastic . The breakfast was ok but nothing to rave about . All in all an enjoyable experience in a lovely hotel .

Pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I booked the twin room, comfortable bed and pillows, ensured a restful sleep. Two small pools, one a lap pool where the water was cool and refreshing. Breakfast was included, three choices and the portion size was adequate. A short walk or scooter ride to eat street . I would stay again and recommend to friends.

Staff were friendly and the manager helpful when we had a small problem in our room. One thing that could be improved, the hotel is quite a walk from town and you need to get a taxi back at night. The hotel has only the logo of the parent company on the business card. Taxi drivers dont give a hoot who owns the hotel, they just want to see the logo which they recognise. Also a map on the back of the card would be helpful as most drivers dont know the name.

Great little hotel!!

I stayed for 5 nights - the arrival transfer was waiting for me at the airport, the staff were very lovely. It was a bit confusing with ordering food though, I didn't know how to order it! Also, the wi-fi didn't work at the computer terminal a lot so if you want to use net you'll need a phone with wi-fi. Apart from that it was close to the main drag of Seminyak and I recommend it.

Although the hotel is nice and well maintained it is rather out of the way of the beach, of shopping, etc. They do have a shuttle you can use but you must follow their schedule. Taxis are cheap so you can use them to get around. Nice people to serve you.

For the price I paid, it's Ok, but it can not pretend to be a 4 stars hotel, there is no safe, no refridgirator and the bed sheet is not even clean at all : have spot here there.
It's seems to me more likely a budget hotel.
I think it should list as budget hotel and nobody can be disappointed with its services.

They forgot to pick both of us up at the airport, we arrived seperately, even though my partner who arrived first specificately said although you forgot me, don't forget to pick my girlfriend up, they said yes to him but still did not! This was scary and annoying for both of us as we were traveling alone.
Their English and understanding of our needs were terrible! We left after 3 days as we were so unsatisfied. They had no fridge in the room and it was very hot, to keep water and some food cool would have been nice.
The pool on the photos was terrible too.
Very disappointed, no way would I rate it as a four star hotel. More like two star.

rooms had no local or hotel info. i.e. Whats availible at hotel, what time and where was breakfast, how to call reception etc.. (worked it all out on own)

Was very clean and comfy.

Although staff were very friendly, there was only one person on breakfast serving everybody one at a time, up and down stairs. Breakfast took a while when I wanted to be somewhere.

Vessapaperia sai käyttöön hädintuskin päivän tarpeeksi riittävän määrän. Sitä piti pyytää lisää.
Ympäristö oli meluisa hotellin vieressä olevien kukkojen kasvattamon sekä runsaan liikenteen takia.
Ja aamiainen. Mitähän siitäkin sanoisi. Kahvi kylmää ja tee kuumaa. Vesimelonit maistuivat ihan hyvälle.
Yleisten tilojen siisteys oli ok. Ja viherkasvit tekivät niistä miellyttäviä. Huoneiden siisteys ei yllä vielä samantasoisten Välimeren maiden tasolle. Tilannetta ehkä auttaisi pintojen nihkeäpyyhintä. Pelkkä pesuaineen tuoksu ei riitä hyvään puhdistustulokseen. Myös edellisten majoittujien hammastahnapärskeet kannattaa puhdistaa pinnoilta pois ennen uuden majoittujan tuloa.
