The breakfast was excellent every morning. Freshly prepared, good variety of choices, and friendly service. On our last morning we enjoyed a “floating breakfast” that was included in our package.. the breakfast was again superb and served in our private pool. The hotel was clean, perfectly situated just minutes away fro dozens of good restaurants and plentiful shopping. The accommodations were very comfortable, the private pool was amazing to come back to after a long day of touring and the air conditioning kept the room perfectly chilly! Something we didn’t find a lot of in Bali! But the best part of this hotel is the amazing staff and service. We were greeted each and every time with a big smile and everyone was incredibly friendly and efficient. We could not have asked for anything more and I would definitely recommend this hotel and we will certainly be back! Thank you for an awesome experience!

Staff were amazing! So helpful and friendly. Bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Villa 9: Outdoor living space was wonderful. I would highly recommend providing secure ladder to get in and out of every villa pool. Restaurant food was very good and breakfast was amazing. Close to shops, restaurants and beach.

Room that are even numbered are backed onto a busy road. The odd numbered back onto construction. Great location to the mall shopping restaurants and beach. Staff were very friendly. The restaurant served good food. Would I go stay there again. Yes overall I would give it a solid 4.5 out of 5

We had a fabulous stay here. Nada and all the staff are wonderful, friendly, kind, helpful and take an interest in your day. The location is great, Villa has everything you need, even mozzie spray. Food at the hotel is really good, breakfast included is excellent a wide range to choose from and any extras are only a few dollars and well worth it. We had dinner there one night and it was really good too. The only thing that we discussed that would help is a rail for getting out the pool, but we managed so not a huge problem. Loved our stay so much, everything was perfect. Thank you again to all the staff xxx

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Samaja. We were picked up from the airport on time and by such a friendly staff member who made us feel welcome instantly.

The best part of our stay was the location. It was an easy 4min walk to Seminyak Village and the beginning of Eat Street. So many options for lunch and dinner all within a 4-15min walk.

Breakfast at the villa was wonderful. Our 12 year old decided that the pancakes were better than the two other ‘instagram-able’ places we visited during our holiday.

The pool was always a great temperature. The villas were clean. The staff were friendly and attentive but not overbearing.

The only negative was the uncomfortable pillows and the TV with bad reception. And if that’s the only negative… I think that proves what a great place it was to stay.

We will absolutely stay at Royal Samaja again.

We had the best stay. I picked here due to location and private boutique feel. All the reviews I read before coming were all very similar and correct. The villas are beautiful with a big pool, big comfy bed, and very private with fabulous hotel service if required. Great location also,near to the beach and minutes from shops, restaurants etc. the staff were so lovely and helpful and the breakfast each morning from the menu at kassavo restaurant was fabulous. We read a few reviews about noise from a work sight nearby and busy road noise but we didnt seem to hear much at all didn’t bother us at all. Thankyou so mcih would highly recommend.

Royal Samaja was a gorgeous villa with good air on, huge bed, beautiful bathroom overlooking pool , beautiful gardens, easy 2min walk to Seminyak Square, 10min to cafe Mano on the beach . Walking distance to jiwa yoga . Lovely driver Yogi picked me up from the airport , great friendly staff.

The noise of construction site close by was annoying as one evening they worked til midnight and commenced every day at 6.30am. TV I couldn't get to work properly and no good movie channels I could find. I could of asked reception to fix but really didn't watch TV that often to bother me but for others could be a problem .

Overall loved my 5 night stay and would definitely go back if I can get for another great rate thru Expedia.

Hotel is good value for money and is right in the middle of Seminyak so it’s very easy to walk to the town etc. each apartment comes with its own pool and the rooms are really nice. The downfall is the noise, all the odd numbered rooms are right next to a Main Street and as everyone drives mopeds its super loud. If you’re a light sleeper you will struggle to sleep. I would say though we asked to change to an even numbered room away from the street and it was much better. The staff accommodated us really well and the service was always good.

Location was ideal! In the center of Seminyak but tucked away from the busy streets. It only took 2 minutes to get the center of town and another 10 minutes to the party. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The villa was just perfect! The best deal in town and I would definitely stay here again!

I only stayed for one night. The little “villas” are nice. The enclosed bedroom is a decent size. I didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. The staff were friendly and the food from the restaurant was good. I had a massage included which was good. It is traditional Indonesian style so no private enclosed room, but was quiet and a good massage. My only complaint is the bathroom is not sealed off and there were ants and other bugs. It was also very hot.

When we first arrived we discovered that it was the street outside was too noisy for my husband and we requested that we move to the other side of the complex. This was done without any issues and very promptly. Thank you Royal Samaja. Once settled in to our 'new' Villa all was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were wonderful. I had two Balinese massages while we were there and Era was amazing.

The villas are in an excellent location, a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. The staff were excellent, especially Santi who was so kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed a wonderful 5 night stay in a fantastic villa. The facilities were excellent and the villa was lovely and clean (but would benefit from a bit of a refresh in some areas). The private pool was a decent size.

The villas are in a good location, just a short walk into town, with the beach also within easy walking distance.

The greatest strength of the villas is the staff. They were so welcoming, friendly and attentive, with nothing too much trouble.

Would highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay there again.

My stay at the villas was amazing. It was my birthday on one of the days and the whole staff welcomed me in the morning with cake and sang happy birthday. The cafe staff also sent in a cut out watermelon with Happy Birthday. It’s a real family vibe from the staff. The room weee clean, location was great!! The staff were all ways there to help with transport or any needs you need. Thank you to the staff for making my stay at the villas the best.

It was my 1st international holiday as part of a couple & royal Samaja villas was an excellent choice. It is in a great location about 250 mts from Seminyak square & the new shopping mall. The staff are the nicest & most competent ones you will come across. Happy to help & just lovely. The only thing that wasn't fantastic was the breakfast selection & that I HAD to make a choice of what I wanted & at what time the day before. It was a bit restrictive. Also the day bed needs a good clean as the cover was quite dirty. Other than this, would highly recommend this place especially for their lovely staff ,who are the best. They kindly sang happy birthday & presented me with a cake for breakfast. Stay here just for them.

Location is good, within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants and only 5 minutes from the beach . One small criticism is that if you want a second cup of coffee with your breakfast they charge you for it which seems a bit mean.

We just returned from our Bali holiday. The place was fantastic.
The location excellent, around the corner from seminyak square And walking distance to beach and Main Street.
Most of all the staff were fantastic, nothing wasn’t possible. From the front desk, to the cleaning staff excellent!!! The restaurant/ bar very good and so is the breakfast which is included. Coffee great too!
My wife and I thank the Royal Samaja for making our stay comfortable and memorable we had a lovely time and will definitely be going back!!e just

They have NO plugs near the beds and only one usable plug in the entire room!

As it was our first trip to Bali, my wife and I wanted to book something close to the action but also something that we could retreat to as well. Our villa was exactly that. We loved that it was only a 2-3 min walk to the busy heart of Seminyak where there was plenty of good dining options. It was also only 10-15 minute walk to the beach. The service from the young and enthusiastic staff at the Villas was warm and friendly and free airport pickup at 1am in the morning was an absolute life saver. During our stay we also enjoyed a couples massage and a cooking class (both run at sister hotel) and highly recommend both. A great little spot that we my wife and I would be happy to stay at again next time we are in Bali

We stayed at the Royal Samaja Villas for 2 nights for our honeymoon trip and upon arrival we were warmly introduced to our villa by Windy.
Our villa was spacious and well-appointed with a nicely sized private pool. There was a nice outdoor shower and an indoor bath tub. It was also conveniently located just a short walk behind Ultimo restaurant along Eat Street and the villa provides a complimentary shuttle from 10am -5pm within Seminyak. There was also a complimentary 1h course provided to introduce Balinese culture and cooking which unfortunately we couldn’t attend as we had already made an early dinner reservation. Breakfast was tasty and the croissants were soft and fluffy. It was a good spread and both the local and international menu were delicious.
Our room was always promptly made and the towels smelt fresh and clean. The staff also came by in the evenings to light up the mozzie coil and also left us a handwritten leaf wishing us a good night’s sleep. We felt that was a nice touch and it was always nice to return to our comfortable villa knowing that everything had been well-taken care of. The villa was located next to a busy street so vehicle noise can be heard at times, esp by the pool. The pillows were a bit too soft for our liking and perhaps the lighting at the dresser could be a little brighter. However, these were just small issues and do not detract from the overall great experience we had. Special thanks to Windy and our driver Putu for their hospitality.
