Hotel has the most poor service. The staff are unlawful and do not accommodate to the guests. The room stinks like something died in there. Staff were notified for 3 days in a row and failed to come check it out or even switch rooms. I checked out 3 days early. The staff promised to refund the stay as it was cit short and then lied to me and refused the refund after i had checked out. They are dishonest and very unreliable. Very very poor.

This property is in a nice location, has an okay rating and mostly good reviews… DO NOT BE FOOLED!
I usually stay elsewhere on ‘eat street’ in Seminyak but opted for SSH as it was a fair bit cheaper and I was only staying for a few nights. When I arrived, the place looked a little run down and tired but that didn’t concern me. What did concern me was what I got when I entered my room. Dirty sheets, dirty pillows, stained towels, a stained toilet seat, a moldy shower, broken lamps, faulty powerpoints, marked walls and a funny smell. I was feeling pretty put off by this stage but decided to stay the night because it was so late. During the night, I felt a few things creeping and crawling in the bed. Woke up in the morning to BED BUG BITES on both my feet and a COCKROACH running past my suitcase.
I went straight to reception in the morning to check out and she didn’t seem too surprised by my recount. I asked for a full refund and after getting Expedia involved, that is what I got.
I will never ever stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Had a great couple days here! The location is great! Close to amazing shopping and restaurants, or a walk along the beach. The breakfasts were lovely and the staff were so kind and attentive. Great value!

Great location easy to get to beach, shops and restaurants. Hotel is more 1980s traditional European than Balinese but functional. Good pool too and laundry service was ideal.

It was our 2nd stay here this trip, we won't stay again though! We were relaxing this morning and consider check in is at 2pm they let a woman with 2 feral kids in the room next door at 8.30am. The kids were screaming and shouting and banging on our doors.....we were trying to relax!! I think they are related to someone at the hotel as they were in the pool yelling and running behind reception. We were going to extend our stay but we will never return!! The room itself was ok pool view junior suite, large comfy room. Staff are nice. Pool has missing tiles and the air con leaked.

Fantastic location, property upstairs with a lift, market downstairs and a small supermarket, restaurants 2 upstairs and two downstairs. Music in the square every afternoon and more on the weekends. The customer service was amazing but the mirror was a bit tired, and the wall could use a scrub. The only downside is that if we left the toilet seat up the bathroom would stink. We had an amazing time, it is a short walk to the beach and we lounged at the pool for days, it would have been a bit better if there was shade over a part of the pool. Overall we would book again! Amazing people and location.

We really enjoyed our week stay here. We had a junior suite facing the pool, literally 10 steps from our balcony. The staff are really lovely and friendly. The room was spacious with a huge comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. We had food also which was very cheap and really tasty. The hotel is right in the middle of shops and restaurants but was very quiet. Our room was at the back facing the sky lounge. We had a great stay here and the price was good.

I enjoyed staying there for my first experience in Bali. It is a central area with lots of shopping and restaurants. It’s a busy place. Easy to get transportation from there. In the evening there are music downstairs from the restaurant, I don’t mind it because it stops early on most nights. I’m glad I stayed there overall for my first time in Bali. The staff are all very friendly.

The only 2 saving grace of this property, is the location and the helpful staff. We booked a 2 room apartment which was dirty, kitchen supplies were rusty, and water from every bathroom is musky and salty. Most disappointing and uncomfortable stay in Bali.

Excellent location! Walking distance to cool eateries and shopping. Lots of hustle and bustle all around. Around 600 m to the closest beach. The staff over here was excellent. Very hospitable. The property itself is old and a bit run down. My AC broke down twice and I had to change rooms twice during my stay which was inconvenient but staff was apologetic and quick to move me. The bed and pillows are comfy. Daily housekeeping. Shower water flow with hot water is good. The toilets are old and need to be replaced. I don't think I'll stay here again, but overall a decent stay.
