Pros - good location , staff very friendly , good breakfast spread

Cons - the management needs to spend money in the upkeep of the hotel. The rooms are sloppy , bedding hasnt been changed in a long time (beds are really hard) , water leakage when in rains , bathroom is a major let down and its not because of the staff.
Management needs to look into the upkeep of the hotel. Spend money to maintain it.

I was highly disappointed with my stay at d'primahotel Seminyak. Despite paying extra for a supposedly superior room, the air conditioner malfunctioned daily, leaving a puddle on the floor which I had to clean up with one of the only two towels provided. Even after reporting the issue, it wasn't resolved until the second-to-last day of my stay. Additionally, the shower head, reported on the first day, remained broken throughout my visit. The extra fee for a poolside room was unjustified, especially since my travel companion, who stayed in the adjacent room, did not pay extra.

The breakfast was another major letdown, as it never included traditional breakfast items and seemed to consist of leftover dinner food. Overall, I felt I wasted my money and had a one-star hotel experience. Consequently, I will not be using Expedia again, nor will I stay at any D'primohotel in the future.

The hotel is very run down. They are supposed to be refurbishing it but I can’t see where? The pool loungers are in shocking condition, not safe to sit on. Choice at breakfast wasn’t great quality. Very disappointing stay overall. Definitely wouldn’t recommend or stay there again.

Definitely not up to a 4-star standard and definitely not worth the price. It looked nothing like the pictures. We booked a suite with a bathtub, but all the suite rooms face the street and a nearby club—no nice view, and it was noisy until the club closed at 1 a.m. There were no noise-cancelling windows, which made it hard to sleep.

Even after room cleaning, there were still stains on the bed. The hotel doesn’t offer any laundry facilities or services. They only provided two bath towels—no medium or small ones. Most of the facilities are old and worn down; one of the deck chairs even had a hole in it.

The only positive is that it’s very close to the beach, but overall, not worth the money

My husband and I can't say enough how much we enjoyed staying here. The suite we were in was nice, and everything was clean. The service was great, anything we needed we were accommodated for. The receptionists was oh so lovely and she really made my stay amazing. He smile and warmth was nice and very appreciated. Unfortunately I can't remember her name but she was a joy. Everyone was truly amazing. We also loved the location of the hotel. Anything you need is right around the corner. From shops, to food, nicknacks, you name it and it's in the area. This hotel is amazing. We came all the way from California and would do it all over again.

My room was facing a nightclub, which plays loud music until 1am. I asked for a room change, and that was granted quickly and with a smile. When staying here, please ensure that you ask for a room away from the nightclub.
Everything else was great, staff, service, cleanliness etc.Room service food is great, I had a mix grill seafood dish with chips.
This hotel is a 7 minute walk from Seminyak Village, a shopping centre. There is a gym next to Seminyak Village as well. Very easy to call Grab/Gojek cars or scooters. Tell driver not to confuse this hotel with D'primahotel Petitenget Seminyak. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Special thanks to Zenata at reception, service with a smile. :)

Our room was labeled as a Deluxe Room, but the view was disappointing. While the room itself was clean, the toilet seat was stained and appeared unclean. We typically enjoy lively areas, but the noise at night was overwhelming due to the nearby club, people shouting on the street, and constant honking from motorbikes. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent! Overall, considering the price, the experience was just okay.

To be fair you get what you pay for this was an affordable option near a destination I wanted to check out. Overall it was OK and a convenient location. A few downfalls were the bathroom/ water seemed to have had a distinct unpleasant odor. The AC was nice since it was quite hot during my stay. The area was loud at night with the adjacent clubs so expect to hear the music until 3am if your a light sleeper like me

This property is definitely not a 4*. More like 2/3* at best. Amazing location, everything you need within 5 minute walk but about the hotel… wifi is horrendous, shower was broken and sprayed the whole bathroom making it a flash flood every time you showered. Our room didn’t get cleaned a couple days even though we asked and put the sign on the door, rooms are not soundproof one bit can hear everything and anything from outside. Overall location is 10/10 but hotel is no where near a 4*, the place needs an update and there’s nothing special about it one bit, no amazing staff qualities, nothing stood out just a average 2* hotel.

The building was being repainted. The painters were causing old paint flakes to fall into the pool. It was unusable. After speaking with the front desk the painters put a tarp over the pool which helped with their clean up but still made the pool unusable until the evening.

Also, the room smelled heavily of mold and mildew.

The first room we stayed in smelt badly of raw sewage so our sleep wasn’t great.
We were moved into another room.
Doonas in both rooms (when cover removed) had significant blood stains on it. The mattresses also had significant stains from people’s body fluids.
The night club was also very noisy so wouldn’t recommend if you wanted a peaceful night sleep.
Every day we had to ask for clean cups and glasses.

Horrendous! Avoid at all costs

The pictures are incredibly misleading. The hotel is in awful condition, the room I was in shouldn’t have been sold: bathroom and shower were covered in water deposits to the point of water going in directions it shouldn’t, the wallpaper was peeling/ coming off the wall and the room ceiling was covered in black mould. When the AC was off, smell of sewage was coming into the room: I have never stayed in a more horrible place in my life!

The hotel is situated about 7 minutes' walk to Seminyak Square and about 5 minutes walk from Petitenger Beach.
The downside is that its next door to a night club and the noise goes on until around 2am, not just the music but the constant horns from cars snd mopeds as well as people shouting.

Very cold rooms with little sun on pool area.

Was freezing in room as fan needs to constantly be on otherwise whole room is soaked due to humidity!! Very strange and unusual.
I complained and they gave me another room on other side of hotel where it had humidifiers in corridor. Something very strange about the design of hotel, when 1 half is too wet and other side is too dry?
Pool very cold and small. Only gets sun for 2 hours in morning.
I didn't enjoy the busy very loud area with lots of scooters and constant hassle of buying stuff, scooter rides.
It is next to a night club, I have ear plugs so didn't hear, but best to be warned.
Breakfast was good and catered for different tastes.

This hotel has an amazing location and the price is awesome. But unfortunately you get what you pay for. Our room had no window and the ‘king bed’ was two twins pushed together. The pillows were crazy thick so I woke up with a crick in my neck. And the shower head sprays in every direction. Nevertheless, I’ll probably be back cuz I can’t pass up a good deal on a hotel so close to the beach. And the staff was very friendly!

Great breakfast and dining options and the pool area is well maintained and totally relaxing.

First night they had me in a room which is adjacent to Mexicola Hotel. It was awful. The music which could be heard in my room was louder than the TV. This went until 1am. I phoned reception and they knew exactly what the problem was and thankfully were able to change me to a quite room the next day.

The location is ideally located within walking distance to most things, but be prepared for some late night music next door. It’s too bad I cannot review Expedia as well because they dropped the ball and I will not be using their service again. I paid for a pool access room - the only issue is there was no pool during my 2 day trip. The hotel and also Expedia would not offer any partial credit. Additionally, my shower handle broke, my water pressure was off the charts with half the water spraying the wall and half hitting me. The water was like warm at best which was fine since it’s hot. The refrigerator was also busted and the lights would flicker when left on. This was one of the absolute worst experiences for a two day stay I’ve ever had. The bedding was average at best, and if you need comfort I highly suggest against this place. I’ve stayed in hostels that were more comfortable. Do not stay here until they remodel the establishment trust me on this!!! Similar price hotels all in the area. Rooms are also extremely tiny. I’d give this zero starts but hotel staff was friendly, so I will upgrade to 2 stars. Management refused any refunds which is very bad business. Expedia wouldn’t refund as well. All I ask is to not be charged for a premium room if the features aren’t available. Also a working shower handle and water pressure would be nice.

The staff was WONDERFUL! Very nice and caring. However Sense Hotel is an example of when you have a dedicated staff, but the Hotelier cuts corners and doesn’t invest in keeping the hotel updated. Uses light gray towels and linens versus white to hid stains. Old furniture, hard spring mattress are to name some of the things that should be improved immediately.
